Kago Shintarou Anime Sakuhin Shuu

Kago Shintarou Anime Sakuhin Shuu

Introduction

In these jokey short films, many of them crudely animated, Kago's sick sense of humor reaches its full heights of absurdity. There's a playful surrealist sensibility to Kago's work, as well as a tendency to revel in the ridiculous, the crude and the disturbing. His work straddles a weird boundary between avant-garde experimentation and low-brow fart jokes—the punchline of one of these films is literally an oozing torrent of shit—although, admittedly, his videos seem to lean a bit more heavily towards the fart jokes than his comics. But hey, who doesn't appreciate a good fart joke once in a while? (Source: Only the Cinema blog)

Kago Shintaro has a screw loose. He reminds me of the deranged director of "A Serbian Film." No clear plot, no multi-dimentional characters, only disturbing and avant-garde themes that refelct the depraved mentality of Kago Shintaro. Only gore with shock value that he thinks of it as an art and artistic rendition and over-exageration of surrealism. In the end, after watching this horrible anime you'll ask yourself for sure " what the fuck is going on?" Not recommended, sexual content with no context, gore and violence against minors and children, hell even babies. It's like bad memes posted on Reddit with the tag of "shitpost. If you are a pervert and want a disturbing shit like this for the sake of gore, blood and shock value scences then go ahead, and don't forget to consult a psy…

It's a very strange exploration of avant-garde, Eroguro, absurdist horror/comedy that even I can barely wrap my head around. It is, however, very unique and will leave you with quite the impression. It has anti-war themes present in episodes 10(?) and 13. 10 shows the innate human desire to manipulate the world's energies from helpful tools into weapons of war, mirroring the Japanese people's collective trauma of WWII. 13 imagines if weapons became funny, harmless items instead, almost as a foil to episode 10. The depiction of Buddha in this series is extremely sacrilegious, raising questions about why we perceive our religious figures as "above" our natural human desires. Why do they mirror our insecurities back at us, though we never question it? It also has a bunch of random dumb gore…

Hey, you there! Do you want to feel like the coolest, edgiest, most adult 14 year old on the big, bad interwebs? Well, you're in the right place! Story: None. Some of the shorts are connected, but there's no overarching story. The individual narratives of each film are about as complex and thought-provoking as "If there were two guys on the moon and one of them killed the other with a rock would that be f*cked up or what?" Oh, the subject matter is taboo, alright... but talk about low-hanging fruit. In summary: old women, children, babies, religious figures, super heroes being killed, sexualized, turned evil, or otherwise distorted. Also, homophobia. MPREG Buddha... funny because gay, right? Art: Horrible, bare-bones flash animation. The artist posses slightly more skill than that of your…

It's hard to make a review on this but I'm gonna try it anyway. I randomly find this short animation product and to be honest the only reason I wanted to watch it(and all of us wanted) is because of the Kago Shintarou. Because I know what kind of artist he is and I can understand and appreciate that. I used to share Kago's artworks on tumblr a lot and also I read the ''Fraction'' manga. I'm not surprised that this animation series are a totally nonsense, but somewhere in my head there was more gore, more fucked up stuff and a more high quality animation. Speaking of animation I think that was supposed to be like that to be more funny and stupid in a good way. More interesting was how animation was combinated with live-action clips. In coclusion all I have to say about this one is that if…

Kago Shintarou Anime Sakuhin Shuu is a weird thing not even an anime just a weird thing . While watching Kago Shintarou Anime Sakuhin Shuu you might get disgusted or laugh your ass of . Why? Because this show is the root of dark humor . This thing isn't for everyone . This is something that is disgusting to look and might hurt your brain too because this is the shows aspect . Everytime a disgusting but funny thing occurs , this is the aspect . It's not that long too it's only 2 minutes long per episode . If it were so long like 20 minutes it becomes so disgusting that normal humans can't watch it so 2 mins. on one ep. is a good thing . If you like this sort of thing I recommend it for you . If you can't handle it because it's so disgusting I don't recommend . Overall for myself 7/10 for an…

*Completed for the 2018 Anime Watching Challenge: (52) Watch a completed anime with less than 2,500 completed members* It's difficult to put my thoughts on this thing into words, as it's one of the weirdest pieces of media that I've ever seen. I don't even know where to begin this. This is a compilation of short, tongue in cheek animated segments with some slight horror undertones, but by no means is it in anyway frightening. I don't believe it deserves its tag as a 'horror', as it's much more akin to a black comedy than anything else. Regardless of its genre classification, each short is around one to two minutes long and showcase some shocking and/or gory imagery. Most of them are completely juvenile and come across as tasteless. Despite this, most of them are quirky and funny enough…

This series of short films is basically the product of the darkly humorous, morbidly curious imagination that each and every one of us has. Like, what if there was an olympic sport in which people drove cars with unsecured people in the passenger seats to see who could make their passenger fly out the window screen the furthest? That's the kind of humor Shintarou Kago presents you with here. Often ridiculous and surreal, body-horrorish and silly, I found that I chuckled at almost every short (as in, short short - between 30 seconds and 2 mins with a 7 minute finale), maybe because I know that I, among many others, think in a similar fashion if I just let my thoughts go. Kago Shintarou Anime Sakuhin Shuu has no depth, and doesn't pretend to have any either. The films are animated (well, th…

Esta review también está en español. "Basically, it’s a question of how many variations of stories I can come up with that revolve around shit and sex." Ladies and gentlemen, Shintaro Kago. For those who doesn't have the pleasure of knowing him, Mr Kago is famous for the combination of extreme violence (guro and gorn are two terms that are handy when describing his job) with extremly bizarre and scatological humor and some sexual content. In other words, not safe for work, people. So, if ridiculous violence and delusional madness are not your thing, you can stop reading now. If, on the other hand, you like to be surprised and enjoy bizarre humor, or if you are willing to twist your brain in ways you never did before... then, and only then, these videos may be interesting for you. So, yo…
