Introduction
Oscar is a lizard living in a non-specific desert that has features from several different real deserts, like the Sahara, Kalahari Desert, and North American deserts. An asphalt concrete highway runs through the area, used from time to time by various cargo trucks. Oscar is generally searching for food or water; he sometimes discovers liquid, in bottles or elsewhere, but is usually frustrated from recovering it for drink. An oasis supplies the only fresh water in the area, but its thick population of irascible and hungry crocodiles renders it inaccessible. At considerable personal risk (lizard is a delicacy for chickens), Oscar occasionally manages to steal an egg from a nearby hen coop, and he sometimes explores one of the piles of trash that litter the parched landscape. Popy, a fennec fox; Buck, a vulture; and Harchi, a hyena, inhabit a derelict school bus situated on a neighboring hill, but they mostly race about on a cast-off warehouse or grocery cart powered by Harchi and directed by Popy. Like Oscar, the trio constantly search for food and water - often competing with him, sometimes abusing him as a means, but occasionally cooperating with him when it suits their purpose. The main characters often find themselves falling off cliffs a la Wile E. Coyote chasing the Road Runner, wherein the law of gravity is briefly suspended while the character comes to realize their imminent doom.

Peak show for its time till today still it is. the only Flaw was the story stucks between them only and not making any more progression to the why how and what the lore behind oscar oasis.
The animation is superb, simple yet entertaining . the music and scoring also makes you want more. these kind of show is to why larva is a success as an animated series. the characters design very effectively simple yet unique, its not like another pixar or disney characters. however as i mentioned before, these kind of show doesnt need a lore or story as to why or how, it just need a layer of comedical act from the visuals and music, as to there is no dialogue
this show is part of my childhood and growing up now then i realised we got none of these kinds of anymore.

This “Anime” is truly a masterpiece and worthy of your time. Through the 70 episodes you get to really appreciate the characters and how they develop. Especially Oscar, the way he grows and becomes a better person though the series is truly eye watering. The finale is so subtle that is hardy feels like a finale. I feel like most modern shows create this sense of urgency in making a good finale that wraps up every tiny detail. In this show we are left to assume that all the characters live on the same as we see through out the show, we don’t need to see the end because this is life, the end is when we leave this world and even then maybe we have a sequel when we go to the afterlife. Or maybe its a kids show that should not be on MAL, but I watched it as a kid and I thought it was funny.

When I found out Oscar's Oasis was indeed an anime on myanimelist.net, I HAD to make a review for this childhood kino. It genuinely is quite surprising to hear that this is part Korean. I thought it was fully French, what a diverse world we live in.
So I watched most of the series back in the day, but I have vivid memories of some events that took place, with it usually being the same thing over and over, I don't think I am missing out on a lot of stuff to talk about because ultimately, Oscar's Oasis is really just fun and games.

What a good show, simple, effective, funny and gorgeous, thsi show literrally is a good way to waste wour time, so go ahead and check this, cuz is amazing, really luv this, doesnt need a complicated trama, characters or some elititst things like that, no just funny beetwen animals and a lot of thing, and works perfect, for me, this show is a must watch, the carachters are so compatible, even the extras are good like a sit com form 90s, if u like the comedy, with no sense you need to watch this show, promise you than is good, for me, is a masterpiece
