Pui Pui Molcar asks an important philosophical question: what if cars were guinea pigs?
Even though it's only about 25 minutes in total and there's no dialogue at all, Pui Pui Molcar might just be the best anime of the decade so far. I have nothing bad to say about it. The stop-motion animation is excellent and the molcars are extremely cute. Each episode is different and there are things like time travel (that episode features a real guinea pig), bank robberies, and all sorts of other stuff.
I hope that one day we can live in a world where cars are guinea pigs. Absolute cinema. 10/10, I would recommend this to any person of any age.

The amount of unbridled joy this anime brings me, is unmeasurable. My chest physically hurts from the joy and emotion this show gives me.
I have cried tears for these adorable piggie cars, I have sprained facial muscles from smiling so hard.
My own piggies past away a few years ago, so the comfort and memories I get from this show fills a little void in me.
You don't need to think too hard on the messages in the episodes (even tho they're great and cute) just enjoy the adorableness and escape reality for a moment with the tiny piggie cars.

If you're looking for a wholesome and quick show, you've come to the right place. This has a little bit of everything in season 1 with each episode being a small skit or parody. In season 2, we get an overarching storyline.
This show is absolutely delightful with characters that convey so much emotion without saying a word. This show covers so many genres while still managing to retain its wholesomeness and family-friendly demographic.
I would recommend this show to anyone tbh. It's fun and doesn't drag in its pacing. Who knew that felt guinea pigs could display so much character and emotions?

This anime is a must watch for all ages. It is absolutely life changing. I went into this anime as a joke, it was cute, clearly for kids, I thought I was just going to be watching this in the background. I was dead wrong. The cuteness is absolutely a factor, but the show made me feel for the molcars. I was stressed, I almost cried, which is an amazing feat for a show who’s episodes are less than 3 minutes. No words are spoken, and yet the emotion reads on the molcars like black text on a white page. The stylistic choices are funny and cute, sure, but they convey impressive emotion for Guinea pig cars, and make each individual one have a distinct personality that is recognizable from the others. It is a short form anime, so if you NEED a plot maybe skip this one, but they often do callbacks…

Anime out of context supremacy! It says I need more info so I’m just gonna try filling this out about what I think this show is… I wonder how it smells inside of the cars…. If you get shit out and you smell bad or you have a medical issue or (std) will the car then get the drivers medical issue? When the driver gets pooped out and the car had diarrhea will the human then get turned into diarrhea? I don’t know these things… kinda want answers. This is the only review I’ve ever written I hope you are happy.

Pui Pui Molcar changed my life. Suffering from a rough work-week, a wise Jesus-like figure suggested I watch this masterpiece. Upon completion, I can say without a doubt Pui Pui Molcar is the best children's anime I've seen in years. The little molcars are charming and manage to convey so much emotion and humor using only their adorable sound effects and "pui pui"s. Using only a few minutes at a time, the creators of this show manage to show (not tell) how the world of Molcars works. The real life actors are even amusing. If you need light in your life, please, take a moment out of your day for an episode of Pui Pui Molcar.

My life has forever been changed. With the first utterance of "pui pui" I knew it would be a good show. I was wrong, it isn't a good show. It is a transcendent experience filled with joy, laughs, shenanigans, and true beauty. When Plato talks about the ultimate form of beauty, goodness, and molcars, he is talking about this show. Whether you like superheroes, Indiana Jones, or the zombie apocalypse, Pui Pui Molcar is the anime to watch.
My only critique, and I believe it to be a fair one, is that there is not enough Pui Pui Molcar. Hopefully twenty years from now, I can look back and think, "that's where it all began." The beginning of a legacy.

I have to say that Pui Pui Molcar is an absolute masterpiece--not just in the anime world, but in all of media. Shakespeare, Breaking Bad, Fullmetal Alchemist have NOTHING on this. Not even Beserk can top this. Pui Pui Molcar surpasses all media conventions. The cinematography, the acting, the CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT? All had me on the edge of my seat.
I would show this to my children if I had the time to HAVE ANY while watching this nonstop. Pui Pui Molcar has changed my life. I used to want to kill myself, I had no hope at all in my life, not until I saw this on Netflix. I was desperately scrolling through looking for hope after I found out Megamind was removed from Netflix and it came like a gift from god. After seeing (Spoilers alert) the poor white molcar get traumatized after being ki…

I know what you're thinking: a Pui Pui Molecar review, surely this is just a joke. There isn't someone who actually genuinely likes this show, right? But that's where you'd be mistaken!
But I understand you, because even I was mistaken at first! When I decided to watch Pui Pui molecar as a joke, I never expected something this great.
Yes, this is just a silly little anime about guinea pig cars, and yes, it doesn't have much substance plotwise; but it wouldn't be fair to dismiss it all just because of that !!
Artwise, I was actually very impressed at the quality: The entire show is done almost entirely in stop motion, and it doesn't look like the cheap kind either!! There were people who worked hard, meticulously moving each piece and slowly filming a single scene for hours on end. Crea…

Truly a masterpiece, Pixar Cars have nothing against this gargantuan paragon of media. I have experienced every emotion known to humankind watching this, the amount of serotonin injected into me should be illegal.
There are no faults in this anime, and if there are it's because of the humans because the Molcars will never be at fault. If they went on a murder spree, I will still forgive them no matter what.
🐹/10 makes me cry every time. There is no doubt, no matter which angle you look at it, nothing can compare to this monumental moment of Molcar. Molcar is Justice.
(Staff, pls don't delete my review again :( It's my 100% honest feelings)

Pui Pui Molcar is not just simply a meme or a generic kid show. When you look into a kid show with a short duration, you would probably think "how is this show being called 'the best anime in 2021', when it's just made for kids and is that short?" But if you look deeper, you would figure out why it is so and start to appreciate the effort made by the director Misato and his team to create this engaging world of Molcars which both adults and kids could find enjoyable.
First of all is the design of the Molcars. Each of them is well designed and made with different personalities, being recognizable by the audience. Just like real life pets, they have various personalities, sounds (by real guinea pigs!), fur colors and the need to eat and sleep, meanwhile there are different kinds of Molcars…

Never once has an anime about guinea pigs made me feel so invigorated. So ALIVE! Until now. This high can only be compared to an overdose on sweet Columbian black tar heroin.
This is truly a 10/10 masterpiece.
Nothing else will ever compare.
I might as well kill myself because I will never find greater joy in life ever again.
If Tomoki Misato does not make another season of this, I will personally fly to Japan and force him to animate more of this. As the prophet, John once said, "if pui pui is all you have, you have all you need"

Pui Pui Molcar is simply put, an very easy anime to watch that makes me, among many else, happy.
Haven taken internet by surprise at the beginning of 2021 with its light-hearted and fun visual outlook, Pui Pui Molcar very much succeeds at what it clearly is aiming to be. Every now and then people tend to find something catered towards a different audience, and this years most wide spread example of this has been Pui Pui Molcar. An fun short ride of 24 minutes as a whole, Pui Pui tells many adventures featuring, and of "Facebook animals, but make them cars". With that sentence I think it is clear why internet has taken such a liking to this soothing and joyful animation.
Expressional animals are something that everybody likes. As the anime is able to relay everything it is trying to tell…

Review in brief:
Do you like fun? Do you want to fill a few minutes of idle time with something charming? Then instead of this review, perhaps you should check out Pui Pui Molcar, a stop-motion surreal comedy with quite a lot of heart. You might just like it, and there’s hardly any risk in trying.

While this was airing, I hyped it to people by saying it was a strong contender for anime of the decade. If the finished product had even slightly more meat on its bones, I'd stand by that. I only have to qualify it slightly because the show is for the littlest kids and I'm sure something more era-defining will come along some time in the next 10 years. But by how much? Who's to say?
The thing we have in "Pui Pui Molcar" is absolute mastery of stop motion. What they achieved is just unbelievable. The RANGE of this show's themes. The dynamic ANIMATION. The WORLDBUILDING. The exploration of GENRE.
"Pui Pui Molcar" has absolutely everything Good in it, and if it isn't in "Pui Pui Molcar", I don't want it.
If you haven't watched "Pui Pui Molcar", I'm not interested in your basic bitch opini…

Don’t be fooled by the memes, Pui Pui Molcar is more than just a show that rose because of meme value. Rather Pui Pui Molcar is a perfect example of innovation and charm that utilizes its short runtime to the fullest.
Molcar introduces us to a world where guinea pig cars are the norm and it is quite cute. It’s an interesting premise and it’s executed quite well. There are fun skits with them which utilize the premise quite well. We get to both see the molcars on their own having fun and doing their own adventuress, as well as how they tie in with the humans in society. We get to see the workings of the molcars and there’s some interesting world-building into how they function. And it’s not as if Molcar only relies on its cuteness to work, it also has a lot of great ideas that go along wi…

Pui Pui Molcar is one of the best anime of recent years, and you are missing out on it. Some of the ratings and reviews might be at least partially steeped in irony due to the weird memetic following works like this, Bananya, and the 2017 CGI Pingu reboot received. However, Molcar is sincerely one of the most charming, creative, and downright surreal anime of recent years.
The best part is that you can literally watch all of it in under half an hour.
So, what makes Molcar so fun? Simple: it’s a surreal, adorable comedy. Each episode is only 2 & ½ minutes, so the show relies on rapid fire joke after rapid fire joke to paint a strange and fun bite-sized story. While the first ⅓ of the anime consists of cute skits involving the molcars in order to flesh out this strange world of guinea pig…

In a brightly colored, sunlit hall of soft cotton, filled with uplifting music, gentle breezes and ambient nature sounds, comfort figures of the world have gathered around a plush throne, ready to be claimed by the supreme monarch of cuteness! The time for re-election has come, and amidst successful veterans including cat videos, laughing babies and “moe” anime, a new challenger has appeared by the name Pui Pui Molcar, humbly campaigning for the title with its adorable handcrafted stop-motion animation, wholesome mini-tales, and loads of squeaking, veggie-fueled guinea pig cars!
Every facet of these “molcar” designs adds to their cuteness, from their fuzzy arts-and-crafts appearance, rounded body shapes, button eyes, malleable sewn-on mouths and stubby wheel-feet, to their squeaky vocaliz…

Short series so short review.
Pui Pui Molcar is not a masterpiece. But it is still pretty damn very good.
I went into this confused as hell, it had a score of ~8.3, has literally nothing but 10/10 prelim reviews (check for yourself), and no score nerf went down. So I was thinking what in the hell did Pui Pui Molcar manage to do in order to bring (almost) all of MAL together to agree that this right here is more than just good.
The answer is cute things. That's not me doing a bruh moment.
That's not me being wrong.
That's not me saying this for a laugh.
Literally just, and only just, cute things.
How simple we are.
We have an entire theme of that, cgdct, but I guess people got bored of it.
The narrative is episodic. I can't remember anything b…
