I feel like I just watched a speed run of every shoen anime smashed together and blended into a tasteless paste. It's like they worked off a trope list, everything is just fine. back stories kind of just thrown at the wall. art was good, some scenes were great actually (although conflicts and fight scenes were like a mix of kung fu by wire live action style and old superhero cartoons). I guess there is a cultural divide on how the Chinese look at relationships, but it was hard to understand motives of characters past the plot armor. I will say one thing about the rushed pace, at least I didnt have to suffer through filler or moments designed to pull emotion that would have been a failure if the emotional depth of these characters is evidence. the premise is cool, but it definitely watche…

Once upon a time ? Unless in the process of creating something closer to an Art Performance or a Happenning (which almost ensure that viewers won't understand at least 50% of it anyway) than an anime, there's at least 2 things that should be quite important, regardless of the rest : The story, and its flow. Obviously, I'm not trying to reduce the importance of the visual, the music/sound, acting etc etc, but I would like to point out that when an anime fails very early to provide a fluid story, or - at the very least - a correct way to address its audience, it basically fails to communicate anything. The point being - unfortunately - that this is the very basic problem of Wo De Tian Jie Nv You : You will rapidely notice, from the 1st episode at that, a very clumsy, naive, almost crude…
