Love To-LIE-Angle

Introduction

As Hanabi Natsuno returns home after six years in Tokyo, memories flood into her. As she prepares to start high school, she moves to Tachibanakan, the local dormitory for female students. Upon her arrival, Hanabi stumbles upon a bare naked beauty, and instantly falls head over heels for her. She also reencounters Konomi Fujiwara, her childhood friend who she barely remembers. Hanabi is introduced to the other residents of the dorm and quickly becomes the center of attention. As the girls instantly take to the newcomer and begin shooting for her affection—subtly or obtrusively—Hanabi realizes that it is certainly going to be an interesting school year. The main character Hanabi moves into a student dormitory, where she meets: childhood friend, sexy weird girl, sexy blonde onee-san, sexy pink onee-san, girl #5. All the girls are lesbians and are to some degree interested in Hanabi. It should be possible to create a few fun, short scenes with that, but this anime didn't manage to. The first few episodes are the worst. The characters get introduced -- and then nothing is done with that again. The pacing is too fast and inconsistent, leading to the episodes just being a bunch of failed sketches. Later on that gets better, and each episode has a coherent story, at least. The yuri only exists insofar as it creates ecchi scenes, where characters have wardrobe malfunctions or sudden attacks of pervertedness, and comedic scenes, where comedy is…

I am writing just to tell anyone reading this. Just Go read the manga. You won't be disappointed! All the anticipation we all had for the anime adaptation was flopped. But I am also not undermining it, as because of it's popularity and success only although being a marginalized category (yuri manga) it finally happened to be animated even if it was all just 3 min episodes. TT I will not recommend the anime, because even if 12 episodes, 12 x 3.5 = 42 mins. How of the actual story do think it covered. It is just the FIRST! arc only, also the fact that the whole animation is chibi type. Their age seems younger than the actual story suggested by their voice acting. All in all will not recommend. Personally I accept this as one of a kind of trophy or memorandum. Like a badge just to remind me a…

Tachibanakan Triangle is a Studio Lings, Creators in Pack work based off of a manga by Merryhachi. I really don't know what to expect. I don't know the creator nor do I know the studios. So, let's just dive in. Story: The narrative is simple. Hanabi is starting High School and she moves from Tokyo back to her old home to attend school and stay at the Tachibanakan dormitory. There she meets up with an old friend, Konomi, who she doesn't recognise initially as well as the silver-haired beauty Iori and the other women at the dorm. She quickly becomes the target of both Konomi's & Iori's affections and shenanigans ensue. The biggest issue with this series is that it's very pervy and a lot of the more perverted scenes focus on these first year High school girls, which is pretty uncomfortab…

Woah! This anime, is LIFECHANGING. It is revolutionary to me and mind blowing, on how one can incorporate so many ecchi moments in the span of a minute. You know that feeling where you're watching an anime, and you get disappointed in not just the anime but yourself aswell for even watching this in the first place? Yeah, I got this feeling from watching it. I'll be fair, the art was fair enough and the sound was decent. But the characters, so unbearable and unmemorable that I nearly forgot the main character's name at episode 12 damn it. This review is just for the anime itself, for all I know the manga could be amazing and the anime adaptation ruined it for the big screen. Besides my opinion doesn't mean shit compared to yours. You could love this anime. Don't let my look on this chang…

Unique for a anime but not for a porn. 5 girls and later number grew to 6. LGBTQ. I just don't get it why such good stories have to be erotic. A smooth show could have been great, given the story. But the was good and the message was clear. 2 girls after a single girl. Really beautiful concept and hilarious at same time seeing the clumsiness of the girls at same time. May be that's the charm of this show. The blur effect shown in starting was damn hilarious. The shy girl wasn't even opposing anything and that was the cutest part I encountered.

*Spoiler warning!* Story/Plot 6/10 - The plot was just them living there everyday lives at Tachibanakan. But with added "flair" I guess you would say. They made basic stuff seem fun. And there was enough "sexual" scenes to go around. I will say, I kind of wish the episodes were longer, 4 minutes each episode wasn't long enough to keep me that satisfied. But, it was good for what it was. I kind of wish there was a actual kiss on the lips instead of one failed kiss, and I think multiple kisses on the cheek. Just saying. Art 7/10 - The art was a mix of Chibi and traditional Shoujo art. It wasn't anything special, but the colors were very bright and the details were enough to keep me enjoying it. Sounds 6/10 - The sound was nothing special. The voice actors were alright though! Characters…

Story 7/10: Tachibanakan Love-to-Lie Triangle takes place in an alternate universe where the Hojo clan triumphed over all of the others during the Sengoku period, which in turn allowed the offspring of Hojo Soun's concubines to spread across the nation in the following years, spreading the 'yuri' gene to their daughters. The story takes place in the early 18th century, showing the effects that these lesbian genes have had on the nation in it's premature industrial revolution. The men of this world at some point in history were subjugated to a caste system where they were at the bottom, forcing them to work long, hard hours and as a result caused the technology of Japan to advance far faster than in our own world. This is an easy to miss detail, but is reinforced by the only male characters…

I'm a huge fan of yuri and I wouldn't even mind the trashy formula this starts with - a standard ecchi/harem setup, just with an all-female cast (although, with only two girls developing into proper love interests - thus the love triangle thing). This really could've been fun... But it simply isn't, in any way. The jokes fall flat and the super-short nature of the series (3-min episodes) makes any serious romance or storytelling pretty much impossible. It's not really funny, neither it is endearing or interesting, apart from maybe a few scenes. It just seems like a very, very poor adaptation and I would encourage all yuri fans to skip it and possibly give the manga a try - from what I've heard, it's much funnier and more compelling.

This anime is great for its category, sadly that category is the super-short episode category which is generally crappier. The story is average and stereotypical, nothing new or original. 5/10 The art is pretty good for such a short series and is better than many similar shorties. 7/10 The sound is decent. 7/10 The characters are average, stereotypical, and dissimilar to the manga. 5/10 I enjoyed it a lot, but I'm super gay and love lesbian stuff. Especially lewd lesbian stuff. 9/10 Overall, this review is like the anime, short, typical, decent formatting, but sadly not detailed enough. Overall 6/10

Short episodes of ecchi yuri comedy, that's what it is. If you like to see constantly ecchi and yuri harem in stupid situations well this is your show then because it's about that and only that. There is no plot development no nothing more than Yuri and ecchi situations that don't correlate. If you like to see how two girls fight each other for another while their nipples slip out of their kimono while a fourth girl holds a sex toy in her hand well then you are lucky because this show is for you. You could probably take this whole show as a warm up before reading a good yuri doujin because you know...it's not like you are going to leave things like that after watching this.

What a shame. The manga was quite nice, light-hearted, enjoyable, with some decent character development and serious moments. The manga does not deserve to be treated like this. This anime adaptation removes almost all of it with it's way too fast pacing and sub-par animation quality. It deserves at least 12 minutes episodes. The anime definitely does not do the manga justice. A sad day for Yuri lovers. Story: 2/10 The manga could easily get 6 or 7 because of there are some small dramas happening in between fan services. The anime removes that all and ends abruptly. Art: 4/10 Bearable. The fan service drawings are quite nice, but the animation is not that great. Sound: 3/10 Nothing to write home about. The voice acting is not very good. Character: 4/10 The manga could easily get 8 for…

tachibanakan traingle is a bad anime in everything an anime needs to be minimally decent Story: 4/10: The story of Tachibanakan Triangle is undoubtedly the most decent thing of the whole anime, it is simple and very objective, without enrolaçoes and things like, but still not a big thing art: 2/10: the art of tachibanakan triangle is fraquissima and generic, all the characters are generic and bland, the animation until it is cute at certain moments but it has several bugs and inconsistencies that make the experience even more impaired sound: 4/10: meh, the opening and ending songs are completely forgettable, the ost also, I do not have much to talk about in this topic character: 4/10: the characters are warm, none are terribly pessimistic but none are good, they are more or less Enjoyment…

This was a short and it’s not even an average short. It’s a Shoujo Ai with nothing going for it. The designs are cute, but everyone’s personalities are boring and aren’t memorable in the slightest. I’m already struggling to remember most of the episodes. There was a copious amount of fan service that didn’t add anything besides eye candy. It was basically just cute girls doing ecchi things. It wasn’t funny, it wasn’t memorable, but since it was a short, it’s not the worst thing out there. Chances are I’ll forget all about this anime by the end of the week. ...But I have heard people enjoy the manga. Maybe I’ll give that a shot.

Why do yuri fans have to suffer so much? When I was stumbling upon this year's spring anime, Tachibanakan Triangle immediaetly caught my interest. Wait a minute, is this yuri? And a comedy without any nerve-racking drama *cough cough Citrus*? And potentially ecchi? Omygosh omygosh omygosh! Can such a perfect thing even exist? Turns out, it doesn't. Well, I thought for a long time that it does, but two weeks prior to it's start a shocking message about the length of this anime arrived; Duration: 3 min. ; Internet was once again able to break my heart... Seriously? A freaking short? *sigh* Anywayy, now let's talk about what this anime really is. A disappointment. Tachibanakan Triangle is an adaptation of a 20+ chapter long manga of the same name. I have read through the manga prior to wat…

[Yuri Harem: a Three Minute Short] From the studio that brought us Netsuzou TRap and Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte kara comes their latest short: Tachibanakan Triangle. Adapted from the manga of the same name, you can expect the studio to produce a “quality” adaptation. In fact, I believe the studio has the capability to cram over 30 pages of manga content into a three minute anime and make it work. And if you believe that is a “quality” adaptation then I have a bridge to sell you. STORY: Synopsis: expecting a normal life, Natsuno Hanabi returns to her hometown to study at a local high school, however upon entering Tachibanakan, her new dormitory, she realizes her dorm mates are anything, but normal. There will be tons of poor/rushed development and that’s because the studio is trying to cra…
