The CG isn't that bad quit fitting the story setting actually, the story is generic but not lack of nuance. Only 8 episodes the story is short and compacted, not mind blowing or has done anything special so feel free to look pass it but it still provide an ok enjoyable watching experience.
Addressing the elephant in the room, the CG is NOT bad and I also care more about substance than looks, a lot of boomers just refuse to give it a go, but the overall the story arc, story telling, and story pacing of this show surpasses majority of the high 6 low 7 show on MAL in my opinion.

I've watched the first few episodes of every anime in Winter 2023 and without a doubt this is the worst anime released this season.
I know for a lot of people they're going to write this off immediately because of its pretty awful CGI but there are a lot more issues than just Foodfight level CGI characters and animation. I don't know if they had two teams working on it but some shots look passable while the next will look like a fan project a 12 year old made on Youtube.
The story is nothing special, humanity wants a super rare mineral, finally find a planet that's full of the stuff but they dig too deep and wake up a bunch of hibernating Tardigrades the size of elephants that run rampant over the entire planet.
The characters are worse than stock, they're bad. The main character will r…

Make my day, well it sure did!
Sure, the show may not have best animations ever but it wasn't bad to unwatchable point. Story was also quite nice, it's one of the shows I liked most of all stuff I watched (I would say I watched many but judge number from my profile or smth). That all said, I won't be making story spoiler cause it would just be a waste to spoil it but I sure recommend anyone with interest in sci-fi to watch this. Btw about cgi, I am someone who quite dislikes cgi so in most cases i would drop shows simply because of it but not this show, instead I watched it fully in 1 sitting because it was just so interesting. So yeah, my rating here may be focused mainly on story and little on animation but as there are sh** ton of people who hate on it and rate it…

No spoilers. Don't listen to the negative reviews. 99% of animes with this type of animation have a bad rating just because of that. This is an anime with a plot that, despite being cliché, is well built, fast and develops perfectly over 8 chapters (I wouldn't have minded seeing up to 12). If you like sci-fi, here are elements that fit very well: space, alien beasts, energy sources, robots and futuristic weapons, military, among others.
I want to highlight two anime mechanics that I like: the first, how the chains of command are continually challenged, both among the military and with respect to the prisoners. And secondly, I quite liked how they play with the element of the pregnancy of one of the main characters for the development of the plot: it is very well implemented and is importa…

If you like Sci-Fi and Horror, then giving it a watch isn't too much to ask, 8 Eps. is quickly done usually.
Humanity on a different, distant ice-planet where horrors lurk in the deep down darkness.
I'll be honest, does this anime LOOK good, more or less.
Is the story a masterpiece, maybe not.
Yet I couldn't help myself from continuing to watch this through and enjoy most of the characters. Heck, it even made me cheer for a robot multible times, somethings that doesn't always happen.
Over all though, it's not a must watch but something nice to bite into if you got the time and you enjoy anything done with Space and Aliens.

Make My Day is a 3DCG Sci-Fi, horror anime that is set on a cold planet called "Coldfoot". In this anime Humanity has populated many different planets. The planet Coldfoot is (what a surprise) really cold. But on this planet is a ressource important for the energy supply of the humans named "Sig". That's why criminals are sent to this planet to go into mines and get Sig. The rest of the population on the planet is really poor.
Jim, the protagonist, works part-time as a prison guard. His co-workers often make fun of him and he's pretty much their personal sandback if they want to insult someone. One day something strange is happening and the prison guards are ordered to go into the mines, where they find monsters that brutally murder people and are basically unbeatable. Now they have to s…
