My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 – Anime Review
My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyō desu) is an isekai anime built around a simple but unusual idea: what if the protagonist could never level up, but possessed an incredibly powerful ability to obtain rare drops?
The anime follows Ryota Sato, who finds himself transported to a strange RPG-like world where dungeons and monsters play an enormous role in everyday life. Although Ryota is permanently stuck at Level 1, his unique Drop Skill allows him to obtain extremely valuable items and eventually become much stronger than his level would suggest.
The premise sounds promising, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
An Interesting Idea with Strange World-Building
The Drop Syst…

I can review this show with one word "Insipid" ( is an adjective meaning lacking flavour, vigour, or interest. It is commonly used to describe food that is bland or tasteless, as well as boring, dull, or unexciting situations, ideas, or personalities)
It has an interesting core idea, and starts off with the interesting premise of the MC appearing in this Isekai world as a "drop" from a slime in a dungeon. However, from there it goes downhill. It lacks for pace, the animation is flat, the character design is homogeneous, with bizarre details like a bunny girl outfit or a chef wearing a Stetson. I suspect the show is aimed at a younger audience, where quality would be a waste. However, if this is aimed at young kids, I fail to see why the show has a harem. Having not read the LN, I don't kn…

Story
To be honest, the story is so simple and plain that you’ll find yourself asking if there’s even a plot at all. We never really understand what the main goal is for the MC or the world around him. It feels like the characters are just existing for the sake of existing, with no deeper purpose or meaning behind anything they do. Nothing in this world is complex, and nothing has any actual weight to it. It’s just a flat, repetitive cycle of dropping items with zero stakes.
Visuals
Just like the story, the visuals are incredibly basic. Most of the monsters are small, non-threatening, and not flashy at all. The magic effects and attack animations are remarkably simple and forgettable. Even the scenery and overall world design feel generic—like the most basic "Starter Town" assets were use…

Is it generic isekai plot? You betcha. You knew that by the title itself, right? But more than action, it's more of the feel-good trope.
For the action adventure part, mc is stuck on level 1 but has crazy drop rate for items so obviously, he's only weak for a short time.
You focus more on the fuzzy feelings you get from the relationship between him and emily.
People complain about him getting guns in a fantasy world but I personally like the progression it took with upgrading bullets, combining bullets, etc.
The art is not bad. Pretty generic but has its own charm.
All in all, I cant really defend why I liked it but i really did feel warm and smiley watching it.

Like many shows in the genre, we have a generic fantasy, medieval-type world with dungeons, adventurers and the commonly used role-playing game UI, with levels and stats, where the MC is an overworked individual who died in Japan and reincarnated in this "new world", which itself is a plot-thread that gets about 20 seconds of screen-time and explanation.
The gimmick for this show/story is that the MC is locked at level 1 and therefore cannot level-up, nor can he increase his stats. However, unlike anyone else in this fantasy world (to our knowledge in this season), his drop-rate stats are all S-Rank, making it so that whenever he defeats a mob, he gets guaranteed, better quality, and higher amounts of loot.
This show did initially show a hint of promise, and I thought it could go more al…

This show is ironically funny in unhinged way
Makes me laught every episode, even theres no comedy genre there. The shitty ass quality, like "what is power scale?", poor world building, and what our MC-with-no-personality and that unhinged-blue-rabbit doing makes it comedic. The concept totally absurd, how the hell everything are drop items from dungeon. it leads to world with no technology and culture, but have everything from "our real life" technologies & cultures
I watch this absolute garbage in HD quality makes it funnier. I love the ironi <3
I give it 1/10 for the whole shitty thing, but i'll give +1 score for the comedic and ironic. I love the unintended comedy, but i'll not recommend this show for you to watch

Typical anime that get's low score because:
- MC is a salari man insted of being an emo cringe loner rejected schoolboy who magically becomes special once he get's OP
- No flasy skills, moves, ability, or other visual effects
- Flat chest girls
- Harem for no resoan other then being kind, when in real life, such things are a turn off, and you get brotherzoned
- No melodrama
- Story is for children.... And for office workers? it's really wierd since it's for both and of course it's not possible to mix them
- MC's ability are gimmicks, so of course there is no real "Who is stronger" since MC's gimmicks void any challange, issues, so on and on
- Slice of life, with little to no progress, adding new character every episode just to add variation
- No deep plot, mental issues, hidden ambitions,…

“My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1” is what happens when You inject a little of a slow life / iyashikei vibe to an OP MC genre.
This show has an identity crisis (which is an affliction that more and more anime suffer from). It wants to be it all. An action show - ends up with boring action. A harem show - ends up with little “romance”. An adventure show - ends up with absolutely no stakes. A slice of life… ok, that part is done the best, but it’s still not very good. I would call it passable. And even sprinkles a tiny bit of iyashikei on top. All that under an OP MC eff me sideways isekai.
The premise was interesting. An office worker, named Ryouta Satou, dies of overworking. After death he is sent to another world. Fantasy world that looks a lot like medieval Europe with magic…

Anyways...
This is your generic seasonal "budget" isekai show
Its light and simple story with not much going on really, bordering a slow burner show to a degree
Didnt expected much from it but still managed to enjoy it even with its flaws.
Its the type of show you just dont think too hard and just chill and enjoy the ride
Art is fine with CGI here and there
Characters look fine for overall duration of the show but sometimes you could notice reused "Still frames", but considering the nature of this show its acceptable. Action is done ok as well, sometimes some scenes could feel repetitive after some time
Ambient music is nothing too special really, OP and ED songs are fine (i prefer ED over OP personally)
I sometimes didnt even notice that there was some ambient music in the background p…

Spoiler-less, TL;DR, fast, simple, and easy-to-digest review:
Isekai, Usual Trash, Too Shallow
3/10
Animation? Meh (-)
Mediocre at best. Bland at worst.
Characters? Trash (---) Let's see... uhh... the MC is bland and trash, the girls are too plain that watching paint dry is more appealing than them, and their designs are ripoff from Konosuba. There's discount Kazuma with guns (why?), tall Megumin, and loli Lalatina- I mean Darkness.
Story? Trash (---)
Even other trashy isekai animes have more interesting premise and plot than this. And why would the MC spoil the plot of the episode before the OP? Weird... Also world-building and world logic are too shallow. Writing is too shallow as well.
Pacing? Bad (--)
Episodic yet lacks proper coherency. (Yawn...) ok let's move on...
OST? Bad (-…

Typical isekai, a man from real-world go to another world. He started with low status, but has unique condition so he can upgrade all status from lowest to highest.
Story 6/10
The idea is good enough, started with new char with low status, have unique condition, but the lack for the development of the story. Too fast from one story to another story. Not enough conflict, make the this a bit boring.
Animation 7/10
This anime has decent animation. Not bad, not perfect, but still enjoyable.
Sound 5/10
Background sound not really match with the scene. Because the plot from one to another too fast, so the music also not really enjoyable.
Character 7/10
This anime has characters with enough differentiation.
Enjoyment 5/10
Not really enjoy watching this anime because the story and the sound.…

If you want a feel good anime, where you can just relax for an afternoon and just watch some low stake adventure with a big dose of wholesome slice of life, but you also want it in an isekai and very light harem, because you have some undiscovered kins or I dont know, this is your anime.
The animation ranges from great to meeeeeehhhhh, but it is usually watchable, the voice acting is.pretty good for the main cast, it is less ideal for the side characters, but nothing immensely bad. The soundtrack with the intro and outro song is average, nothing extraordinary, but it fits well.
Thats how I could describe this whole anime, lightweight, feel good, average.
If you dont take this seriously (there is no story really, I mean its just 12 episodes up until now, so if it gets a second season we sha…

A simple adventure and a little cute: 6.3/10 ✪
I discovered the work through the manga, I only read the beginning a while ago, at the time I thought it was cute, and I expected more from the story now that I've seen it all, but it was fun.
From what I've seen, the manga continues, unfortunately you can't even find it in PT-BR in the scans, so I don't know what their future will be like...
But at least it was fun, when I saw that there was animation for this simple work, right from the start I realized that it would be a very simple adaptation and the story is also quite silly, but at least it remains fun.
Despite the protagonist being one of those very "dull" in the romance sense or something like that, Emily is very cute, and for m…

Definitely in the "So bad it's good" category.
Story was not unique at all, it was a complete isekai cliche.
Art style was standard, nothing particularly special.
Characters were essentially caricatures, I would say my favourite was the one who ate carrots like they were crack.
Character reactions were wild to say the least. MC wastes so much time and does things in practically the hardest way possible for no reason.
MC essentially does a gotta catch em all run, it's practically comical that he gets OP so quickly with basically no barriers at all. Girls fall for him on sight, all situations work out and the show twists reality to make MC the good guy. It's bad but it was funny in its absurdity so was enjoyable.

I am overrating this to make up for the low votes it will get. It's not actually a masterpiece, but did keep me mildly amused and had decent pacing and did a few ideas i've never seen executed. I think the harem could have been fleshed out more, but its not really a harem since the MC only has a single love interest, and even that is quite platonic. its neither a shonen nor slice of life but something inbetween. Some battles you could see the resolution coming from a mile away. But over all I felt pretty happy with it since i think I've seen all the 8+ rated animes over 40 years of life, so I've learned to enjoy the lesser ones as the filler that they are. If you have a bunch of high rated anime to watch go knock that out first, and use this as palette cleanser inbetween major series.s

After three days diligently hiding from my roommate that I was watching this crap, I bring a review.
I’m Strong Even though I’m Level 1 (don’t remember the actual title) is the archetypical bad isekai. Every quality you’d expect is on display here. Terrible art and animation, one dimensional characters, a complete lack of meaningful conflict. Everything, all executed in such a bland, uncreative way I’m almost impressed with it.
It‘s lighter on insane moments than similar works, but still has a few bangers. Like when the MC breaks a strike by knocking out all of the workers with magic bullets (the adventurers guild would otherwise have had them killed). Or how the MC heals people by shooting them with “healing bullets”. Which yes, is funny every time it happens.
The central plot conceit…

Stupid, but fun
In a world where necessities and usables such as food or items come from the drops of defeated monsters in dungeons, adventurers exist. Our isekai'd MC ended up as one of these dropped items for an unsuspecting and quickly-friended adventurer. And here it is guys; Even though our MC is level one, he has a cheat skill that gives him better and/or unique items from drops, which gives him the edge over everyone else. His journey continues with the typical isekai grinding and waifu collecting.
An interesting premise that sounds pretty fun to watch, though it couldn't be said that the anime exactly executed the story as well as it potentially could have.
Story: 4/10 (low average; fun, but lots of plot contrivances and story elements that are never or badly explained, and subt…

Have you heard about the Isekai in which the guy reincarnates into a Vending Machine? More of that in a minute.
Are you kidding me with this garbage... Talk about destroying your premise within the first two episodes...
Basic idea is that the MC is supposed to be stuck at level 1, which implies that he will be insanely weak...
Which is true for all of like 5 minutes, as the MC discovers that while he is stuck at level 1, he is the only one in the world to have infinite stats allowing him to quickly brute force literally everything; making him stronger than even the apparent 'God of Strength' within minutes.
If that wasn't enough to absolutely DESTROY the premise, he then quickly finds a GUN... That's right, this is a classic medieval fantasy and he acquires a gun and proceeds to just…

It's very decidedly average. Maybe even below that. I do enjoy the world. There's some fun things there. Economically it doesn't make sense for a world where everything is monster drops. Including money. After all that would be... you know what I'm not going to go on a gold rush rant yet again. I spend two hours fuming to myself after that episode.
Again I like the world. Economics aside it is interesting to be in a world where everything comes from drops. I even like that when left alone they spawn more powerfully as Strays if left alone. It's WILDLY inconsistent about that though. Sometimes the presence of a city is enough people to keep things from spawning into strays and sometimes it isn't. When they're camping and have a make shift city the garbage is still a danger even though peop…

An Isekai where a dungeon drops things like weapons and groceries that's exclusive, how neat, but being OP while being stuck at Level 1, it's not.
For time millennia, on and off, Isekai stories have all been the same copy-pasted blurb that doesn't distinguish one from the rest, and there's really no point on the discussion that every new Isekai from progressing anime seasons will ever be any better, at the very least to stand out. It's the same affair with novelist Nazuna Miki, whom in his run has created at least a new work every other year since 2013, creating mediocre works that are more of less bootleg copies of already available material that did it better or just as worse. What's even more surprising that Miki Nazuna is born Taiwanese but is an active AniManga (LN and manga) writer…
