AniWorthRance: Sabaku no Guardian

Introduction
Based on the game by Alice Soft.
While Rance might well be one of the best swordsmen in the world, he has the personality of a rancid turd. He is narcissistic, lecherous, abusive and almost without any redeeming social graces. And his underclad and overabused slave Sill knows this, but she is still in love with him. One day Rance is hired to defend a dusty and forsaken desert village from the repeated attacks of scantly clad and oversexed sorceress intent on the resurrection of a long forgotten demon.

Art and Animation style: Starting with art because as in an entire hentai, it Was captivating with keep you holding keeps you holding and apart from that the line work and character designs work very authentic I think it might be inspired by the previous games which are based on the same story.
Story: Not pretty much to say any way just like that classic adventurous story when an adventurer goes on a mission and finds unexpected turns and twists with a heartfelt ending maybe that's not true in this case.
Uncensored: Being hentai still it doesn't have much of scenes, it has a plenty enough but it somehow works because it just not an hentai also has a good story.
Rating: 6/10

Based on a series of games, with the original, "Rance: The Quest for Hikari" (Rance 01: Hikari wo Motomete The Animation), being released in 1989 for a Japanese line of computers called the PC-98 that's still going on today, with the latest game being released in 2018 and has a total of 17 games as of this review, so it's quite the series of hentai games. So naturally, it got an anime adaptation.
Rance: The Desert Guardian follows the titular Rance and his assistant (or more accurately, slave) Sill, who is deeply in love with him, as Rance is hired to defend a dusty and forsaken desert village from the repeated attacks of scantly clad and oversexed sorceress intent on the resurrection of a long forgotten demon.
The OVA immediately sets the tone with Rance saving a woman from a gang of ra…

"What a nice woman... Someday I'll rape her."
Story: A guy and his female slave get hired by a hot dark-skinned girl to take out the bandit leader who's been abducting girls from the oasis village. Pretty simple stuff, but it works out great and there's even some plot twists towards the end (it has probably my favorite ending ever, by the way). Also lots of good comedy.
Art: Loved the art, designs and animation. Looked better than most anime from 1993 and it still looks very good.
Sound: All the voice are great and fit very well, the moans sound very good, the soundtrack is cheerful, sometimes mysterious and overall very nostalgic to me and oh boy, the moment "My Glourious Days" kicked it in it sent shivers all the way down my spine.
Character: Loved all the characters. Rance is one of…

Ahh, the dreaded hentai anime. Once upon a time, I might have been ashamed to have the 'stain' of such a title in my list. But that was a long time ago, when I was but a fresh young lad with a bepimpled face who still cared what people thought about him. Now I've traded the acne for a neckbeard, which really can't be considered an upgrade in itself, but point being that times have changed. When every other comedy that comes out has ten instances of airbrushing or random rays of light obscuring the view of the picture per episode, you can hardly consider them much different from an H-title save for the fact that they are trying to pretend they're above said H-title status with their fancy censorship.
All semantics aside, let's get on to the actual review before I write five paragraphs on s…
