The impossibly quiet life of a chad god. 4/10
TL:DR; An incel walks into a cabinet and becomes the greatest everything of all forever. So OP AND handsome, that the world stops to stare. There's truly nothing this protag cannot do, no woman that can resist him, and... boredom ensues. In place of any actual driving force or narrative, we're presented with trivial catastrophe after trivial catastrophe that results in another woman falling for him. And that's it. THE ONLY way I recommend watching this is if you want a good laugh at the absurdity.
The Review:
I love isekai trash. But sometimes, the trash combusts into a full-blown dumpster fire. That spark is episode 4. Episode after episode of increasingly unbelievable moments (we're talking within the realm of physics, not just anime logic…

This anime is so terrible it has forced me to write my first review on this site.
I did not enjoy anything past the first bit of sword swinging in episode one. Sadly, I finished watching in case something actually happened in a later episode and it redeemed itself. But no, dear reader, you can be assured there was nothing. An empty shell of an anime. Swing sword, thing dies, protag is cool.
The main character is only ever mildly inconvenienced at best and that's stretching the definition. There is no plot, there is no conflict, there is no climax, there is no resolution. Like a flatlined heart monitor - and this anime: dead.
I have watched plenty of trash anime but this is a new category on its own that is somehow worse. It's not even worth putting on in the background while you do anot…

This show was actually not that bad. It started decently and seemed a fun isakei anime where story was very generic . I actually was enjoying the brainless fun of the anime and some of the characters were somewhat interesting . But i personally did not enjoy the later half of the anime especially the ending. Anime went from a fun 6 out of 10 anime to a 4 out of 10 very generic and bad isakei .
The animation is just average and nothing is that special. The fight scenes really don't stand out.
If you don't care to much about endings you may enjoy the anime a bit more than me.

I honestly don't understand all the bad reviews... 😔 People must not be fond of the premise of the show: a fat/ugly/shy but kind teenager who traveled to another (fantasy) world and suddenly became tremendously handsome.
Granted, it's a bit exaggerated, yes... 😅 The guy is too much handsome to a point it does not make sense, women are too much in love at first sight (even his teacher)... It almost feels like "The Witcher", who seduces anything with boobs and a pretty face. Except that in the case of the MC here, he still has his introverted personality, and never ever flirts with girls. If we closed our eyes, we could totally imagine that it was still the fat/ugly shy teenager from earlier, and I think it is great that it feels that way 👍.
Apart from this aspect that SJW, feminist wan…

Honestly I dont know why this is rated so low. If you dont take it too seriously and lean into the ridiculousness its very enjoyable. MC and all the other characters are likeable - and its also visually unique and appealing. This is very much every incels wet dream, but they play into the ridiculousness of it and dont take it too seriously so its fun to watch.
There are plenty of generic isekai cliches - but they stay away from the really annoying ones and overall it has its own vibe that makes it unique.
There is also the general harem vibe - but its much more pleasant and fun and less gross than many others - and all the girls are likeable and have actual relationships with each other.
Is it a masterpiece? Obviously not, but its a super fun power fantasy for when you want something ligh…

For starters, to everyone hating on this anime, I honestly don't understand where you're coming from. You criticize the world-building, the character becoming overpowered too quickly, simple plots, and other reasons that honestly feel repetitive. Isn't that what the majority of anime are like? I could name hundreds of anime that follow similar patterns, and many of them are hugely popular.
So if these are the reasons you're choosing to dislike this anime, maybe you need to rethink your stance on anime in general because, truth be told, a large portion of anime—especially in genres like isekai or shonen—follows these same tropes: overpowered main characters and straightforward plots. If that bothers you so much, then maybe anime isn’t for you.
The next time you decide to critique an anime…

This has to be the cringiest, most self-unaware, oblivious MC with bad inner dialogue and poor plot armour that I've ever watched. It's an incel chuunibyou fantasy with an embarrassing amount of attention on the MC and so much "wow did you see that?"
The art style is very nice.
The characters are flat, incredibly inflexible and change only superficially. Character motivations hardly exist and the writing is about as thin as it can get before tearing.
Does it have the "Hell yea next episode!" factor? No, because there is so much time spent with the MC not being aware of how absurdly good looking and powerful he is. It is NOT INTERESTING to watch a character with literally everything going for him be so unaware of it. I don't care how terrible his upbringing was (which is also such a we…

There are wish fulfillment power fantasies and then there are wish fulfillment power masturbatory sessions. This is the latter. There's not even the faintest effort made to disguise it as a wanna-be meaningful story. I've never seen a series so blatantly and unashamedly turn its main character into God overnight – literally. I’m convinced that this is someone's Sword Art Online fanfiction that somehow accidentally got made into an anime. You cannot change my mind.
In the span of 5 minutes of screen time, the protagonist goes from the zeroest zero to have ever zeroed in the history of zeroes, to the Kiritoest Kirito to have ever Kiritoed in the history of Kiritos. I'm not joking. The contrast is just that jarring.
People's main thematic takeaway from the show seems to be the fact that soc…

Oh, I got to tell you, it was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details.
The stiffness of the animation, the one dimensional characters, goofy ahh dialogues this anime had it all.
Jokes aside this anime managed to make me burst out a laugh. Which is exteremely rare feat for an anime to achieve. Just because of that I am giving this anime 10 out of 10 and recommended tag.
Don't get me wrong this anime is complete carbage but I still had fun watching it. It is at least far more enjoyable than last 2 mha seasons.

This anime is missing a "comedy" tag. There's a scene in this show where the protagonist german supplexes a 250kg bear in front of his classmates and nobody has any questions. If that doesn't sell you on the premise of the show, then I don't know what will.
If you want something that is half competently written, don't watch this. If you want a show where the cast has any personality at all, don't watch this. If you want to laugh a show because it is so bad on every possible level that it's almost amazing, you should give this one a chance.
Every scene in this anime is what a 13 year old middle schooler daydreams about. It's so unapologetically conceited that it even makes the entire cast clap when our protagonist does anything at all. This is the self-insert fantasy of a 13 year old who…

If you’re reading the reviews before you watch this anime, stop. I really believe bots are writing these reviews, or some kind of Chat GPT. Especially the ones who only watched 1-3 episodes? How do you even review an entire anime series without even watching half of it?
Anyways, this is classic Isekai anime. If you like Isekai, you will like this. I especially rated it so high because it has its own theme, they followed the traditional route but allowing the MC to traverse back and forth was refreshing. The animation was amazing, I personally wished the animation wasn’t so good so they could have slowed the pace down imo. But we all know in 2023 if you don’t pack a punch in anime, especially the Isekai genre then you have no chances of season 2. So yeah, animation is amazing but just a l…

I don't know if you are familiar with the concept of Gary Stu, this series represents it in the best possible way, it is a story that tells us how an overweight boy who is hurt a lot in different ways by fate overnight becomes one of the most beautiful people in the world and with it stronger too, the story is that simple, the life of this boy after this event and how he took a 180 degree turn due to a coincidence of life, look if the series had demonstrated how he made an effort to change or began to change his circle of friends for the better, it would have been better than they did in the series, you cannot empathize with the protagonist because there is really nothing to compare him with the viewer, they are just unreal situations that will never happen in real life.
In truth,…

This show is like One Punch man. If One Punch Man was not funny. And Saitama never had to train to get his powers. And he was a girl magnet. And none of the characters had any character. And the story wasn't very interesting. And it tried to be an isekai but also a high-school drama.
Most events in the show go like this: There is a problem. The MC, who is very attractive and powerful, shows up. He solves the problem by being attractive and powerful. Then all the ladies gush and blush over him because he is SO ATTRACTIVE and powerful. Then the MC acts all surprised at this because he has low self esteem (how humble!) because in the past, he used to be fat. Did you know he used to be fat? You can see it in episode 1 where he is fat and then he becomes not fat by walking through a door. (If…

This series is all kinds of bad, it is dumpster fire levels of bad, and yet it is so bad, that it is good.
This is pure guilty pleasure, it is trash anime at its best, it is incredibly entertaining and I spent a lot of time laughing at how bad this thing was.
The animation is bad, the writing is bad, the world building is non-existent, and the characters aren't given any growth or any real depth to their characters.
Someone I know described this series perfectly it's "high school Rudy from Jobless Reincarnation in a video game isekai and give him the power to return back to his own world like Gold Coin Isekai, then animate it using Microsoft PowerPoint"
That sums up the essence of the series, but it doesn't sum up the absurdity of this series
The series is a pure self-insert power fantas…

Yet another terribly written self-insert isekai anime. It teaches the viewer nothing except hope that you have a grandpa who leaves you an estate and magical shit after their passing. Magical shit that can suddenly make you the most attractive dude alive with all the chicks starting to swoon over you. It's nothing new in this genre but I found it hilarious how it literally happens overnight. The character arcs can barely be called arcs, hell, you can barely even call these things characters in the first place. The character's motives are so one-dimensional and cliche that it feels like they were written by an AI. The MC kinda just gains more and more stuff and of course, builds a harem of the most disgustingly boring chicks imaginable. But once again, nothing new for this type of show.

Iseleve is arguably the most archetypal isekai ever. It’s a pure male power fantasy with focus on repetitive fanservice tropes and wish fulfilment. Yet, I loved every damn moment of it.
I know that last sentence may seem contradictory. By most objective measures this is not a “good” anime. However, I enjoyed it and have it in my top shows of the season which I’ll explain later.
Well-written story merchants will be disappointed with this one. The plot is as generic as they come, which is really a shame as it does have a lot of potential. The MC being able to limitlessly go between worlds is an idea that should set up infinite possibilities. Yet, it’s barely touched on in the show. Instead, Miku spends episode after episode introducing hotter and hotter girls into the harem. It’s definitel…

Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta is literally everything that is wrong with the anime industry nowadays. I would like to say that the premise is generic, but you don't see many isekais that actually go and make the MC be able to return to his real world and return to the other world as he pleases (unless you read Chinese stuff), however the execution of it is completely and absolutely generic and it feels asinine to even talk about what is wrong with this series. since it's literally everything from both a visual and writing standpoint.
The series looks like a piece of shit, no, seriously, there's literally nothing in this series that comes close from looking even decent, the art style looks absolutely ugly, the dire…

The author of Shinka no Mi has another work that got translated into an anime? HOW THE EFF DID THIS WORK GET A GREEN LIGHT? WHY?! What the freak...
If you don't know what's going on, let me bring you up to speed on the situation. In Fall 2021, there once existed a show called Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei a.k.a The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made, produced by a new studio (at the time)...and it sucked ass. Just over a year later, the sequel came out last season, and it too sucked ass — DOUBLE the whammy because it was a worse sequel than its predecessor (which makes it a noteworthy Isekai trash champion at best). In that review, I already foreshadowed the month ahead before its eventual release: "If next season's Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni S…

'Isekai Cheat Skill' is pure fantasy fun: the lightest of light comedies, an exuberant adventure full of warmth and charm on an animation budget of two nickels and a banana peel. Like 'Keijo!' or 'Domestic Girlfriend', it's completely serious about being utterly ridiculous, devoting roughly every minute to fun characters and fan service.
It's normal to sprinkle in moments of pure fun, like a beach episode or a Chika dance. It's a form of fan service; it's icing on the cake. 'Isekai Cheat Skill' is a cake made entirely of icing, a fan service apotheosis, and it works improbably well. Light comedies look downright mean-spirited by comparison. There may be no series more eager to please the viewer. If a scene isn't pleasantly surprising, it's at least predictably enjoyable.
To illustrate, I…
