Quick review here;
This show is trash, and unfortunetly the bad kind of trash. Even from the premise, you can already tell this is going to be a terrible anime, but it was genuenly hard to enjoy it because it was way, way too irritating to watch.
Both the world and the story is rushed and poorly developed. The characters are bland, as usual, except maybe the "Sage". He was quite entertaining, but not much either. It was clear from the very beginning, the focus will be on the fanservice, which is not a problem on it's own, but the big (and only real) problem was the protagonist.
The main character was so whiny and coward in every ecchi scene, it was just pathetic. I get it, he reacted somewhat realisticly, but no one cares about that in an anime like this one. He dodged every situation w…

The author sucks, plain and simple.
Normal isekai slop with the same overused storylines and a cuck MC who has the social skills of a rock and the intimacy skills of an autistic rock.
The character designs for the women are okay, if only because they are the stereotypical hot chick looks that every anime seems to have. The nipples and boobs are horribly drawn to the point that I wish it wasn't ecchi, The hairstyles are pretty much always ugly.
They will even have an entire story point about "The MCs bond with the Ring Princesses will give him power!" but then he gets too shy to do anything more than a light kiss here and there. Its like they wrote the story for the MC to be 9 years old, and then aged him up to 18 without changing his shy/soyboy personality at all. More isekai slop where…

I usually do not write reviews but this horrible piece of shi** made me crash out so hard. Here's the review:
I absolutely hated Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari, and that feeling only got worse with every episode. After the first six episodes of season one, the anime becomes painfully repetitive. I understand that the main character isn’t emotionally ready for sex at first, but when that same excuse is dragged out again and again, it turns from “character development” into pure annoyance. The constant teasing without payoff makes the experience unbearable.
For an ecchi anime, this series completely misses the point. What’s the purpose of fan service if it never delivers anything meaningful? The endless sexual tension goes nowhere, and when the second season finally lets the MC cross that line,…

I imagine the main character suffers from blue balls all the time!
This is a show that doesn't know what it wants to be! It's a cocktiese!
A useless young boy refusing to sleep with his wife is called a gay! Show doesn't make sense, mushoku tensei did far better job.
My advice to developers would be: make your minds to what kind of show you wanna make! And don't compromise on the main character. How many times he's going to blush when he sees his wives naked?! He's shy after 15th kisses?! Instead of learning magic he goes around having talks with his naked wives?!
These things aren't novel or fun to watch anymore.
He should sleep with his wives and get stronger and more capable everyday!
Do better Or just publish semi nude magazines without any story instead of this

I can't recommend this anime for any other reason than the fan service.
The MC is so stupid. He is literally married to the princesses (that's not a spoiler it's in the title) and even though they are happy to have sex with him he refuses. Even the one he loves the most.
I would be totally ok with them not even showing anything. Just a cut to next scene would be fine. But it is so frustrating watching this pathetic MC do everything in his power to not deepen his bonds with his wives to give him the power he needs for the quest.
Worst MC/writing ever.
Great fan service though.

It's not bad. If you want an isekai harem with really hot girls of different species and some ecchi/romance mixed in then this show is fine. The fighting is pretty meh and the story is filled with a lot of flaws and plot holes.
The show is extremely predictable, you already know what's going to happen the majority of the show before you even watch it cause the synopsis tells you everything. He's going to go around collecting the rings aka go find the 4 other hot girls to marry then fight to save the world from the Abyss King. And I'm sure you can guess how it ends.
It's only worth watching if you're in it for the lewd waifus and not the story. The show does have romance progression but it doesn't feel satisfying. Too many times things start to get good only for your usual interruptions t…

For a show about marriage, 'Tales of Wedding Rings' is terrible at commitment. And it had potential; it's a half-decent premise, there's minimal cringe, the visuals are crisp and the designs are eye-catching. But all that polish just highlights the one thing left underdeveloped: Satoru the Sexless.
All of the princesses fit neatly into an archetype: the girl next door (Krystal), the bashful romantic (Nefritis), the bawdy barbarian (Granart), the snarky A-cup (Saphir), and the emotionless gynoid (Amber). And that would be fine because nobody watching this is expecting nuanced character studies. The fun should come from Satoru floundering as he’s smooshed between their competing breast sizes on the sliding scale of anime anatomy. But instead of hijinks, tension, or any real emotional stakes…

I don't really get this show... Like the whole point of this premise is that he's gathering a harem, but he's basically fully committed to Hime the whole time and has no desire to be with the others. Each of the other girls get about 30 seconds of being a real character, then do basically nothing for the rest of the show.
If the show wants to be a harem show, then Satou should actually want to have a harem, and the girls should actually be into that. Otherwise, it should just focus on Satou and Hime's relationship as they go around collecting party members for some other made up reason, and not much would change. They could still all be hot women trying to bone him, but the fact that he's "Married" to the other's, but doesn't care about them, makes it a lot harder do the "ignore the obvio…

This anime is the typical ecchi harem isekai you may probably know if you watch it with high expectations in mind but as a critic who turned off his brain for a while and watched this, I enjoyed this A LOT! Unexpectedly but yes, though I did noticed a lot of flaw in the anime but I can't deny the fact that I enjoyed the wackiness of this one. So here are what I noticed in the anime:
Character 7/10
I like em, typical group of girls in a harem though the guy is not your typical harem guy so I actually like him a bit. Though as you may expect, not all of them have well written characters since the story mainly focuses on our two couple which are Satou and Krystal. They are the only ones who have actual goal and actual human like behavior; whilst the others are just "anime characters" who fil…

There are lots of questions for this anime if you think logically! What I question most is the strangest thing, I swear.
* Where has the demon knight been for 10 years? even though he wanted to take all the rings. whereas in the anime it is told that the Demon Knight is strong, the only one who can kill him is the king of the ring. So, while Hime was transferred to another world, where was the Demon Knight? why not take the other ring first, why wait for Hime, the owner of the ring of light?
* If you think "the ring of light is the key to all rings, so that's why the Demon Knight has to take the ring of light first?" But why, when he failed to get the ring of light, did the Demon Knight change course and look for the ring of wind? If the ring of light is the key then why did he move to t…

Tales of Wedding Rings is an anime that reminds me of many other stories. It’s like a mix of The Lord of the Rings, Jobless Reincarnation, The Seven Deadly Sins, and a pinch of the American movie A Knight’s Tale, but in the harem genre.
In short, zero originality. But even so, everything works.
Tales of Wedding Rings tells the story of a boy who must gather rings of power to defeat a legendary demon king. The catch is that these rings are wedding rings, so he must, in short, find his wives.
Therefore, the story focuses on the search for these wives. The task will not be easy. It’s not that the girls will accept him easily. Moreover, all of them have complicated backgrounds that the protagonist will have to resolve.
Tales of Wedding Rings is truly an entertaining and well-told story. Ea…

This anime is exceptionally captivating with stunning animation. Each scene is filled with mesmerizing visuals and rich detail, creating a vibrant and beautiful world. The charming character designs and carefully rendered backgrounds provide a strong visual appeal, making every moment in this anime feel lively and enchanting.
The heroines are one of the main attractions of this series. They are not only visually appealing but also possess strong and diverse personalities, each bringing something unique to the story. The interactions between the main character and the heroines are delightful to watch, with relationship developments that feel natural and dynamic. These characters are portrayed exceptionally well, adding depth and richness to the narrative.
In addition to the visuals and ch…

Production:
Visuals are decently good.
Audio is fine.
Setting:
MC is very unsatisfying to watch and is the most inconsistent character out of the entire cast.
Supporting characters are actually interesting with unique powers, personalities, and body types (important in this genre).
Story setting is fine, but the isekai elements seem unncessary for the plot as the story almost never acknowledges the isekai elements after the initial episode.
World rule consistency is not very good at the start, but this went away as the story developed. Plot:
Plot is basically a combination of Lord of the Rings + Strike the Blood, but much worse.
Story needs more explaination/exposition as often time events just suddently happen at random.

This anime isn't a good ecchi one. (Tl;Dr at the bottom)
My reference for ecchi animes are: yosuga no sora, kiss x sis (the ova one) and most recently gushing over magical girls (which is a really good anime if you don't mind seeing some uncensored boobs)
[Ecchi: 4/10]
I know ranking ecchi is somewhat strange, but if you will be watching this anime, probably you'd be expecting something good in this topic, well ecchi is highly relative, if you are new to it you'd be probably shocked by seing boobs without censor, and thinking how could this not be a hentai? But there are far more animes that go much far than that, with this said, if you are expecting something more than boobs appearing, then sadly this is not the one for you.

6 - Inoffensive isekai slop, with some nice pacing and story beats - It has some heart - Not bad, not great. The score of '6' is what I give it relative to other things, my enjoyment of it was a '7' and I never felt like I shouldn't bother with it whenever I saw a new episode pop up.
Story: High school student turned protagonist in a fantasy world to become the 'Ring King' who needs to convince five princesses to give him their paired ring, in order to fulfill the legend and beat the baddie. He's into the main girl, who's into him.
There are some nice locations with interesting dilemmas and the circumstances he has to go through, at the end of the day it does feel like an adventure, which is fun.
Ecchi: While this is an ecchi show with partial nudity (breasts), it doesn't do much with it…

This did not cook. How tf do u mess up a basic ass ecchi harem? The ecchi is the most half assed ecchi I've seen in a long time.
The MC is your bog standard boring weak spineless shy stuttering fucktard. All the side characters and harem members are generic and one dimensional af, his harem feels extremely forced, absolutely no progress or character development whatsoever. Lil bro always has some excuse to not do anything 18+ while blushing and fucking around for 11 eps. This anime does its sorry attempt at edging, but instead of using lubricant and tissues, it uses sandpaper. At the every end, he seems to start growing something that might be a spine, but it ends there with a lame ass semi 'cliffhanger'. Yayyyy, onto season 2 whenever that comes out? Are you excited?
Most generic harem…

Honestly, you know exactly what you are looking for in these kind of animes that dont take themselves too seriously. It is all about the cheesiness, beautiful girls, Risqué scenes.
This anime provides all of this whilst not exerting the samey MC loser trope. He is typical but also hás some growth throughout hte anime, and Thankfully not a pervert 24/7 or stuck UP. Just an easy going mc. And within his role, I dont find think boring or irritating. All the girls also evolve somewhat during the 12 eps. It is enjoyable! Cheesy but enjoyable. The only downside is some scenes being Very undetailed.
I dont think every anime has to hit the high notes of the likes of Frieren, Mushoku, Strims Gate and FMA. Specially when the anime is an Ecchi harém kind.

Tales of Wedding Rings - What a way to force a harem through circumstances.
If you didn't know, mangaka duo Maybe has previous adaptations in the AniManga space: Silver Link's Spring 2012 adaptation of Tasogare Otome × Amnesia a.k.a Dusk Maiden of Amnesia (which is low-key one of my favourite shows of the early 2010s), and MAPPA's Summer 2019 adaptation of Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e a.k.a To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts (which was kinda meh to low-level decent). This season, the duo's entry has extended one more adaptation: Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari a.k.a Tales of Wedding Rings, with its manga ongoing into its 10th year, while Kemono-tachi has ended last year. But when it comes to the ultimate comparison of quality and content, Tasogare Otome comes first with a wide gap, while both K…

Oh, what can the world do without an ecchi like Tale of Wedding Rings these days? I probably had to check several times on various sources when this got announced for an anime adpatation. Why? That's because it felt like we already got the announcement years ago. Yet here we are with a 12-episode adaptation announced just last year and making its debut on the TV screen. And unfortunately, it should've probably remained better off of it.
Now here's a head up. Tales of Wedding Rings is exactly what it looks like from its premise, promos, character designs, and even genre tags. It's not trying to hide what it sells and from the first episode, you're going to get thrown with fan service to the face along with the most one dimensional character roster this year so far in 2024. If you just want…
