This anime is absolute bullsh*t, and I mean that affectionately. Somehow, I love every ridiculous, chaotic, and wonderfully entertaining moment of it. It’s not as if I’ve already watched the entire series ten times, memorized half the dialogue, and replayed my favorite scenes more times than I’d like to admit. No, definitely not. I’m completely normal about this anime and can stop talking about it whenever I want. It just happens to be one of those shows that gets better every time I watch it, even when I know exactly what’s going to happen. Honestly, calling it an obsession might be an understatement, but I regret nothing whatsoever. Definitely would recommend it.

An uninspiring, anime of a character who is too humble to be an OP main character and can be quite annoying to get behind. His back story of "oh we do this up north all the time" is irritating as its constantly referenced with no meaning. The action is super boring and forgetful; love interests are generic; nothing strikes it as fun to watch. The plot moves incredibly quickly as if either the writer had no idea what to construct, or it was rushed and resulted in a bad item. A positive of this anime is that there are some unique ideas of items the MC creates to counter some danger, but this is a very forgetful watch.

It is your typical under appreciated overpowered protagonist was kicked out of his party of high ranking adventurers, but there is a twist. While most of this genre take themselves seriously, they become a story about revenge and rising to the top, and forgetting about the fun adventure part.
This anime is not too serious, not too laidback, never a dull moment, and certainly no shortage of humor. The cast are always dealing with the most outrageous things that the protagonists treats so casually. Yes, it is predictable. Even when the situation seems dire you can always expect the overpowered protagonist to save the day. It is as cliche as it can get.
But overall, it is a charming little fantasy anime.

The show is a fun, light watch.
I think a lot of the negative complaints are from people who don't understand what a parody is. The premise is not original, but parodies mock or exaggerate common tropes and themes. This show does exactly that with common anime tropes, hence the complaints about them, except the people complaining don't realize this is a parody. If you understand that, you'll probably enjoy it.
With that in mind, the show is goofy and is a great watch for turning your brain off and taking it easy. I'd put the absurdity in the same category as Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle but way less aggressive.

There is no good story, no enjoyable characters, and no exciting fight scenes. The anime is bad because it has no soul.
The writer copied elements from many other anime and failed to create a unique identity. Inspiration, adaptation, or even copying can be acceptable but only if you present your own style or vision, which this anime does not.
There is no central plot, only the daily life of a naïve protagonist surrounded by girls who want to protect him by exploiting his ignorance.
All the characters are written in a repetitive way and follow the same pattern until the very end.
The Protagonist
He is stupid and naïve, doing impossible things while believing they are normal not just in terms of magical power, but even the food he cooks removes curses and all kinds of magic with no logica…

‘The Unaware Atelier Meister’ or 'Kanchigai no Atelier Meister: Eiyuu Party no Moto Zatsuyougakari ga, Jitsu wa Sentou Igai ga SSS Rank Datta to Iu Yoku Aru Hanashi'
The localized english title quite comically describes the conundrum, perhaps too literally. For the Japanese one may God help you understand what was going through their heads, this running joke of telling the entire premise with full sentences in the title has run it's course.
The Japanese translates(GT) to: A Common Tale: The Atelier Meister Mistakenly Believed the Hero Party's Former Miscellaneous Worker Was Actually SSS Rank Outside of Combat.
Produced by EMT Squared, a very diligent and courageous studio of which personally I have witnessed and on the contrary endured 7 of their assorted closet of projects they’ve fulf…

Why in Lord Jesus' holy name would I ever rate this a 10?
This show follows Kurt, a young lad who is immensely talented at everything, but tragically, clinically brain-dead 😢. He comes from a village of powerful god-like geniuses that have been protecting the realm for millennia, but maybe his parents didn't hug Kurt enough or something because his self-esteem is non-existent. For reasons that I don't really remember and that aren't that important, Kurt no longer has his village and must travel the land in search of labor opportunity. But in his quest to be gainfully employed, the world around him is awash in sinister mischief... Whatever will he do.
In essence the whole show is one big gag, and the gag goes like this - there is a problem, Kurt trips over his own dick, and then the pr…

When I first started watching this anime, I really enjoyed the misunderstandings between the main character and the other characters. I found it quite funny and interesting to see how the other characters got confused and misunderstood what the MC was doing. However, the further I watched, the more I realized that the main character isn't just humble; he's actually pretty stupid at his core. I initially thought he just wasn't aware of his own potential, but I was wrong about that. You'll understand what I mean once you watch further, especially by episode 11.
As for the visuals, I have no complaints. I enjoyed them because I thought they were quite good. There were a few parts that used CGI, but it wasn't distracting and still looked decent. The music was also just okay in my opinion. The…

“The Unaware Atelier Meister” is what happens when You turn the absurd up to 11 and not in a clever or entertaining way.
Another day, another “The hero is unaware of his true power” anime. Am I the only one who is tired of this shtick? Don’t get me wrong, the idea itself isn’t total garbage, but I have yet to see it executed on a level higher than below mediocre.
This anime… changes nothing. No story, only plot. Simple plot and overusing bad jokes.
Before we start I would like to explain something. I will be talking about “plot” and “story”. Many people use those terms interchangeably. I’m not one of those people, so to make sure everyone is on the same page…
I use the definitions for “plot” and “story” as Lisa Cron describes them:
“What happens in the story is the PLOT, the surface e…

I started this anime on 3rd April 2025, but since episodes were coming out weekly, I paused after watching just 2 episodes. Finally, on 30th June 2025, I binge-watched the rest.
This anime falls under the fantasy, adventure, and comedy genre. Honestly, after watching the first episode, it almost felt like it was going to be about a construction worker or something related to masonry 🤣. Our main character, Kurt Rockhans, gets kicked out of his original party because of being completely useless in combat. But soon, he discovers that while he may not be good at fighting, he’s a master at support roles like repairing walls, digging mines, and carrying golems — and not just that, he’s ranked SSS in those areas!
I won’t spoil much, but even with a relatively simple and decent story, it turned…

this is you standard chore boy get thrown out of elite adventuring party and was the glue that held it together. Kurt is as clueless as he overpowered it similar to Beast Tamer or suppose a kid from the last dungeon boonies moved to he starter town. although Kurt helpless in a fight and god like doing anything else
the animation not the best, done by EMT squared but the art style and character designs are nice the English dub not too bad although the VA can be a little wooden and emotionless with some lines
i enjoyed the anime but i am isekai and feel good over powered Mc enjoyer one of the best part was the reaction of other character to Kurt overpowered abilities

THIS REVIEW MAY NOT BE THE MOST CONSTRUCTIVE BUT IM PISSED BECAUSE I WATCHED 12 EPISODES OF THIS HORRENDOUS "COMEDY" SHOW
I don't know if I'm being too harsh but this anime is literally about comedy and the comedy is straight trash and repetitive.
The protagonist is the most boring and dumb mc ever, it's incredible how in every episode he jumps into conclusions that don't make any sense, conclusions that aren't even a bit right.
It's so boring and repetitive the fact that in every episode he thinks he's useless and everyone around him say he's the GOAT but he says "nah I'm s**t" and goes with is life Continuing to be the most dumb mc ever.
The fact that everything he does is perfect could be funny if it wasn't so stupid, bro can't dodge a leaf but when he needs to do something that isn't f…

I honestly don’t even know what I watched. I can’t remember anything from the story—just the feeling of my IQ steadily dropping the longer I kept watching.
I’d rather rewatch Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. than sit through this again.
I don’t know who thought the “clueless, low-IQ protagonist who doesn’t understand their own strengths” trope was a good idea, but this takes it way too far.
I guess the writers don’t know how to craft real comedy anymore, so we’re stuck with bland, tasteless shows like this. I’d rather rewatch an anime I rated 5/10 than waste more time on this.
To be fair, the animation is solid, and the voice actors were well chosen. But all that talent is wasted on such terrible writing. It’s a shame.

This one was a surprise. All the ingredients of this stew were taken from the bottom of the barrel... and yet!
Ingredients:-
1 Gary Stu. Must be SSS rank in everything except one thing.
1 cup of getting kicked out of the party for being worthless (bad at that one thing).
2-3 tablespoons of main waifus. Must fall for Gary Stu on sight.
3-6 teaspoons of side waifus. Must cover waifu checklist left over from the main cast.
1 Mascot character, can be either a cute animal or Anya clone (little girl about nursey age) Add-ons:-
12 episodes worth of good looking food.
1 lolita that is at least 1200 years old and officially an adult.
1 Secret ingredient.
Recipe:-
Step 1. Gary Stu is kicked out of the party for being "worthless". Steer the pot with shots of them looking down on him.
Step…

This is a good anime to see in times of brain death. It easy, simple and feel good. The animation is week but the drawings are nice. It reminds me of "The Ossan Newbie Adventurer" in the fact than the MC is pathetically oblivious to his strength which makes it frustrating to watch when your mind is alert and sharp. On the other hand, on the other hand, watching this when your mind is foggy, this anime does the job. The absurdness of in acts as kind of a relaxing comedy relief.
Basically, to get the most of this anime, you need to be in the right mindset.

So you can't go into this show expecting anything great from it. It's not offensively bad, but neither is it very good. This show is one where you're just kinda along for the ride.
The story has a lot of childish story beats, so I assume the target audience for this anime was somewhere around ages 8-12.
Things I liked:
- The show has some wacky moments that make you do the nose exhale. The show's comedy revolves around tropey romance jokes that have been told a thousand times, but a lot of the time you get to see it's main drawing point which is how OP the main character, Kurt is. It's kinda funny considering he's completely oblivious the whole time to his strength.
- Even though the show's animation didn't get a big budget I don't think I saw CGI throughout the whole show, which is rar…

KurTard: "Tell me, do you fear me LoliTa-rd?"
Lying LoliTa-rd: "No, I even consider you a friend, and with that comes trust."
Whoever wrote these lines, the retard-in-chief, forgot that the whole fucking premise of this fucking show relies on lying to the protagonist (KurTard) about everything to the point that they'd rather have a fucking illusion of him to replace him, than tell him the truth about his own talents. All the while everyone abuses this kid constantly for every possible gain they can get out of him, while he works like a peon for free.

So the trope of the "Dumbass hero" seems to be "in" right now with the cool kids over in Japan. Either that or someone just wants to feel better about his/her intelligence when they write and identify with the dumbass…

I really enjoyed this one. It’s a cute, fun, adventure. Now days I watch anime to escape reality, so light hearted adventures that aren’t too serious or heavy , are always welcome for me. Relaxes the soul.
Definitely has some similarities to things like “Kid from the last dungeon boonies” and “I parry everything” in the sense that the main gimmick is the MC not knowing how strong he actually is. I thought this anime in particular did a good job of covering little plot holes that usually comes with those kinds of anime.
If you’re looking for an easy going , light hearted adventure, to escape reality, definitely worth checking out imo
Personal enjoyment 9

Animation 7

Voice acting 8
Humor 8
Able to escape reality and relax the soul 11

Just completed it and it's 100% "meh." I needed something to fill in the gaps to do my "watch two different anime...." every day. That's 14 a week. So this was not in my top 5 or bottom 5. Right in the middle, and that's where it deserved to be. No "I wish there will be a season 2" as one season was enough. Animation was average at best, voice acting was good, but the plot was 100% cookie cutter and a clone of a dozen other "unaware that they are OP" protagonist series. You know the ones - everything the hero of the story does is nearly god-like, amazing and awe-insuring, but the hero has no idea and thinks it's normal. But everyone around him is so honest and caring that nobody takes advantage of him. We've seen this how many times now?
Yet he can't see through an illusion he basically c…

Just another typical anime with a bland overpowered cookie cutter hero, who is completely unaware about his actual might. We see him during his journeys and how he's acquiring the much needed harem on the way, plus some other support characters.
He's also confusing always situations, where he played the pivotal role, thinking the others are great and giving them credit for the stuff he did. And of course none of his harem/extended family members bothers to tell him otherwise. Ever.
Character design is rather basic as well, and animation are poor. At least it is fantasy, and no isekai.
Only watch when you are really bored and want to.
