Out of nowhere nemu anime ini terus langsung nyoba nonton, beberapa clip animenya sebenernya udah sering nemu di fyp tapi baru nonton karna tiba-tiba lewat.

the narrative progresses, Kill Blue increasingly suffers from severe character neglect and structural bloat, making it feel less like a cohesive story and more like a series of loosely connected gimmicks. Hey, remember Kozue, Juzo’s daughter? You know, the one who inspired his protection of Noren? ‘Cause the story sure didn’t
Kill Blue kicks off with a undeniably unique pitch: Ogami Juzo, a middle-aged elite hitman worn down by years of wetwork, gets stung by a strange genetically modified wasp and de-ages into a middle schooler. To track down a cure, he gets sent back to school—a place he never experienced in his youth—where he ends up assigned as the bodyguard of Noren Mitsuoka, a targeted genius heiress. Tadatoshi Fujimaki, famous for Kuroko's Basketball, brings his signature kinetic…

It’s slightly entertaining to watch, but by no means is it a good anime.
It falls short in pretty much every major area: plot, characters, and animation, all wrapped in an unoriginal art style. It could’ve been something genuinely good if it had taken the “Conan method” and applied it to the assassin premise, but instead it leans heavily into a mostly "cringe pandering to a certain mentality" approach borderline netflix writing.
The biggest problem is that the entire premise doesn’t feel particularly well thought out. You’re given a morally superior assassin, but there’s barely any justification for why he considers himself morally superior in the first place. It’s a concept that wants you to take its protagonist seriously without really doing the work to earn that seriousness.

Juuzo, the best hitman in the industry, gets turned into a teenager. Afterwards, since he can no longer work as a hitman (not sure why he couldn't since he still has all his abilities)- his only mission now is to go a middle school and investigate it since his boss' daughter will be attending. Juuzo did not have a typical childhood, so he quickly falls in love with the school life, and he himself begins to learn things about himself he didn't realize before. He also learns his classmate, Noren, is the daughter of the pharmacy industry that created the drug which turned him into a kid. Oh yeah, and his mission is marry Noren to get more infomartion (this part is stupid and makes me gag).
Honestly, what makes this anime works is Juuzo as the MC. You can really tell he's a harden veteran in…

Story? Boring.
Characters? Forgettable.
Theme? Completely generic
Dialogues? Painfully dull.
I honestly would have preferred to sit completely idle all day instead of forcing myself to finish this absolute waste of an anime. It felt like the creators dumped their entire production budget into action sequences that, ironically, still turned out to be entirely below average.
...but besides all that WHEE IS THE BOSS’S DAUGHTER!!!
To wrap it up, the pacing is a massive drag and nothing of substance ever happens. You never feel any genuine attachment to the cast, making the stakes feel entirely nonexistent from start to finish. If you are looking for a masterpiece that keeps you on the edge of your seat, keep searching. This show delivers nothing but disappointment, mediocre choreography, an…

Kill Blue had one of the best OP I have ever seen. Great music, fantastic visuals, unique direction. I really came into this show just expecting something fairly cookie cutter but the effort put into all the finer details(animation, voice acting, sound effects) really kept me locked in throughout the whole season.
While this anime doesn’t really make any innovations per se, it does a really great job of world building which is not as easy as it looks. The characters were pretty likable and the story leaves you wondering what’s going to happen in the future with a lot of potential.
The comedy was above average, action scenes were engaging, some characters surprised me with their personalities. All in all it was a really fun watch and I’m excited for the next season!

resonates with dreams and delusions of youth of today and this genre; students,
not precisely but a unique story especially the preferences of mc after incident and his moral values which were realistic
character development of mc has a spike but then goes constant, other characters had mild developments but were engaging enough
7.9/10 as a whole and animation is also cool and style fits the story
what i liked is the opening and closing of anime, stimulating and captivating and recommended
still the mal review auto correct says the following

Here are a few ideas of what you may want to include:
Is the story unique? If it was predictable, did you enjoy it anyway because you like this genre/set-up?
Do you think the art style is fitting for the story?

The only real problem I have with this series is its lack of depth—it hits everywhere except the spot. Some feel‑good moments are nice, but the story is overly generic and sticks to a simple, straightforward narrative structure with no real intricacies involved. It's watchable, sure, but not enough to truly appreciate or praise.
That said, the characters and their world had so much quirky potential that the author kept frustratingly elementary. If the narrative had been reworked into high‑stakes storytelling from around chapter 70 or 85, this series definitely had the potential to go much further. As it stands, despite its lovable characters, it remains a light‑hearted blend of action and comedy that simply doesn't stand out.
The anime was a faithful reflection of the manga itself—just s…

This action-comedy is the hidden gem of the season.
Unlike a lot of shounen that attempt to insert comedy and fail (hmm hmm Demon Slayer), the comedy has a fair amount of laugh-out-loud moments and consistent funniness. The animation quality is great, which pairs really well with the action sequences that are unique, entertaining, and even, one might say, thrilling. The characters are also refreshingly natural, which is to say they aren't over the top or caricatures typical of a story largely set in a school. The end of the season provides a nice theme that deepens the overall story beyond an assassin simply being in an unprecedented situation, and it shows great promise for where the show can go.
All around, the quality is great and it is an easy recommendation to anyone.

Kill Blue is an anime about a veteran, middle-aged hitman whose body regresses to that of a middle schooler. Due to this transformation, his boss tasks him with 'investigating' a middle-school to see if it's suitable for his daughter. (incredibly teeny tiny minor spoilers ahead—like all stuff you will learn within the first 2 episodes that is of 0 importance for making the show an enjoyable watching experience)
It's easy, from a glance, to expect a show with this premise to be boring, as the "experienced guy in unexperienced guy's body" trope is a dead horse in anime nowadays, but it surprisingly avoids many of the usual pitfalls. Rather than transferring to the school as some broody, attractive, bad-guy archetype, we see the main character struggle, and not just in the usual, shallow way…

First episode a middle age character who is a legendary assassin with a sexy character design with a gun who is on a mission that was giving an action packed mature kind of story.
But then they turned him into a little kid( like in Kaiju No 8 where that guy turned into a Kaiju) so don't call it a new concept and now he is a normal kid who sometimes realizes he is an assassin. His character has no charm like his old character design.
The biggest problem is the show is boring as F , cringe as f , the series keeps throwing random school activities at the reader. Sports festival, school events, comedy chapters, club activities... That's all .
Then we have a FMC who is target of everyone every villian guy wants her and mc has to save her without disclosing his reality but she looks like a si…

Kill Blue is a decently engaging action comedy as far as action comedies go. The combat scenes are a bit Sakamoto-esque in how much they play with the surrounding environment in order to craft exciting assassin showdowns. The comedy is a bit more hit and miss, with a heavy reliance on intentionally cringe moments for punchlines likely making this one a bit divisive, and it also suffers from some occasional pacing issues as well that lead to my attention not being quite as locked in as it could have been. The overall visual presentation follows a similar execution, with a lot of really cool action shots or well-framed and well-colored emotional moments interspersed with awkward framing, sketchy compositing work, and occasionally a sense of too much stillness.
I do want to commend it for som…

I went into this title without any expectations and I left positively surprised by the quality of it.
Story is very straightforward, there aren't any real surprises or moments of tension, but that's what makes it good. The execution is also really good: then animation is well-made, there are quite a lot of funny moments, there is some action and overall there just isn't anything bad.
To sum it up after watching, it's just a show you go into and have a good time. Nobody plots anything behind the scenes and I think of this anime more as a comedy than an action show. There aren't any real downsides and I give this title a solid 8/10, mainly because of its high quality.

From what I remember of the manga (since I've already finished it), Kill Ao (Kill Blue) has a good and very faithful adaptation. However, just because the adaptation is good doesn't mean the anime itself is good...
Story: 6
The story of Kill Ao isn't entirely unique; I think I've heard of other anime or manga where an adult turns young again to go to school. But at least it doesn't feel completely repetitive. Where it does get repetitive and loses its originality is when the overpowered protagonist goes to school just to "live his life," a trope commonly seen in Isekai academy arcs or other manga.
The core plot revolves around the protagonist protecting a girl from an unwanted marriage by pretending to be her boyfriend. This might sound a bit weird and uncomfortable knowing the protagoni…

There are two ways to keep me hooked: the first is to present compelling characters, and the second is to tell a compelling story. Kill Blue is just okay at both.
Let's look at the characters. We've got middle schoolers, so there's only so much that can be going on in their lives. Our main guy, Juuzou Oogami, has more going on—or at least he should, given that he's a 39-year-old assassin stuck in a 13-year-old's body. But he doesn't, and the reason for this has to do with the stagnant plot.
By its very nature, Juuzou has a doomed goal: marry Noren Mitsuoka, another 13-year-old student. I say doomed because this isn't a romance story. He's clearly never going to marry her, so the driving force behind the plot is already undercut. Instead, all that can happen is the same overplayed "joke"…

"Kill Blue's" (2026) initial premise immediately reminded me of "Sakamoto Days" (2025), another series whose original manga was published by Shueisha. Once I learned that, many of the similarities between the two stopped feeling particularly surprising.
From the very beginning, Kill Blue sticks closely to the familiar formula of "a professional assassin forced into an ordinary life against his will." Its main twist is that Juzo constantly reminds us how uncomfortable and out of place he feels being surrounded by teenagers—especially middle school girls who see him as nothing more than a normal boy with some rather unusual habits.
On a technical level, the anime didn't leave much of an impression on me, aside from its heavily saturated color palette, which at least gives it some visual pe…

It was April 11th, when I was waiting for the second episode of both Akanebanashi and Yomi no Tsugai. Kill Ao stood there on my Netflix screen, begging to be watched. I had little interest at first, considering I had begun to feel genuine fatigue with the assassin genre. But I mustered all I could to try and watch for at least 1 episode. I was practically unamazed, then I listened to the opening of the song, and it hooked me back in. So, being a fan of that opening, I started searching for that opening song, and there was a particular comment that stuck with me, not because I agreed with it, but it felt too ironic to be called even that.
"Kill Blue receiving better anime adaptation than Sakamoto Days is so funny 😭🤣"
So yes, ladies and gentlemen. I am writing this review to answer this…
