I know I'm late on this, but I just want to say this is worth my time. Tbh, this is just so peak and beautiful. This anime is where all the girls are the best girls. I think this anime really exceeds my expectations. Even though this is an old but gold anime, I love all the girls (heroines), especially Tsukasa and Morishima senpai, making me jealous of Junichi, but still, he is a multigigachad. If you want an anime that has all your waifus winning, this is your sign to watch this masterpiece. And the all-op is just so beautiful banger Azusa cooked on this anime.
This is my review and this have a lot of flaws but still i really enjoyed this anime. 10/10 i will gonna rewatch this every christmas 🎄❤️

It's your average generic 2010 VN dating sim adaptation, that's pretty much all that needs to be said. Naturally, I wrote a fuck ton more.
Yeah, route splitter nuke, your mileage may vary on that but this does naturally lead to less development per heroine but, for what it's worth, I do think Amagami does a somewhat admirable job of trying to keep the main 6 heroines relevant by putting scenes with them in the background into each other's stories. It doesn't always work the best but they sure do try which I mean it could be worse.
It also has a lot of weirdly perverted stuff. Not just "omigah, look at the knockers on that girl", but, like, fish nibbling on girls, girls dressing up in costumes and acting like children, sucking on people's belly buttons, etc. Kinda creepy tbh
In accordanc…

This is the best anime adaptation of a dating sim. Bar none. And when I mean that, I mean quite literally a dating sim adaption, not an adaptation of a singular route of a dating sim. Never has there been a more fun romance anime as Amagami SS, and yet so weirdly misunderstood for incredibly basic reasons.
The anime is not a Harem anime. It isn't. If anyone refers to it as such, they're literally wrong. The only way I can describe this to those unfamiliar with the Omnibus format is describing it as six romance stories, starting from the same point, that vary slightly from each other in presentation and each girl, that just so happen to star one singular MC. Ergo why it's the best adaptation. It gives as much time and attention to each of the routes as it should do, instead of stretching a…

Somehow always find myself rewatching this around Christmas for 3 consecutive years now. This show is what I consider my "comfort food", but in terms of anime, of course. It goes straight to the point and doesn't overstay its welcome. And with each heroine getting their own respective story, it is a romance story for almost everyone.
While the story is not spectacular, it is done nicely for each heroine. All heroines have their own pace and style with different conflicts and obstacles that make, even though at the core, all the stories are romances, they are all very unique and differ from each other and make all the stories worth watching. Even though it's worth noting that the pacing sometimes feels inconsistent, it never to the point of story breaking. For what it tries to achieve, the…

Amagami SS is a romance anime based on a dating simulation game, with a unique format that separates the story into multiple arcs. Each arc focuses on the protagonist, Junichi Tachibana, as he explores a romantic relationship with a different heroine. And I like the stories of the Class representative and Morishima, then his friend and childhood friend, and then the juniors. The story is quite realistic, as the guy is slightly perverted in a non-harmful way at first, they make the viewers sympathetic by showing the 2 year-old incident in the last 2 episodes somewhere different flavored.
Positives:
Warmth and Feel-Good Vibes: Each arc delivers its own dose of warmth and emotional satisfaction. The show has a gentle, slice-of-life atmosphere that makes it easy to watch and enjoy.

Amagami SS is one of those shows I still can't forget about because not many romance shows actually complete a full love story, and Amagami has 6. Talk about a romance watcher's dream.
This show excels in making sure every girl gets her happy ending, and without spoiling the end, it even makes sure no one gets left out of their resolve.
Some argue that they have a real problem with how "inconsistent" this form of anime is to watch, but those are just ignorant people that can't accept when an anime does something differently. You know, lord forbid there could be a different way of showcasing a story outside of a straight line with obligatory filler inbetween.
No, Amagami SS takes time on each main character to showcase the cold beginnings of romance, to the end. From total strangers, t…

Certainly, it's a great romance anime and very well done. It's an anime where everyone wins, great endings, tense situations, new scenarios, and especially the girls. Each girl has a different personality and different roles in the story, and the protagonist manages to handle the romantic atmosphere and create very striking scenes in each route's ending.
The animation quality is good, and the magic of animation happens at important events for the creation of the romantic relationship.
The soundtrack is beautiful, the opening doesn't disappoint, and there's an ending dedicated to each girl.
Junichi, despite having a common design, is a reliable character who doesn't disappoint when declaring his feelings or taking important actions that involve strengthening the romantic relationship.

A Refreshing Tale of Love and What-Ifs
The harem genre has become a staple, often presenting a protagonist surrounded by a bevy of potential romantic partners. However, Amagami SS breaks away from this conventional mold, offering a unique and refreshing take on the romantic comedy genre.
A Narrative that Redefines the Harem
Amagami SS follows the story of Junichi Tachibana, a high school student still reeling from the pain of a past heartbreak. As Christmas approaches, the memories of his ex-girlfriend's betrayal resurface, casting a shadow over his festive spirit. However, fate has other plans, and Junichi's path intertwines with six remarkable girls, each with their own distinct personalities and stories to unfold.
The anime deviates from the typical harem narrative by presenting eac…

Next on my line of harems to spite comes Amagami SS (Jesus, I’m still on letter A). This anime is somewhat weird to talk about as it is constantly deletes the progress in the story. Before I get to nerdraeg about the show, first I must clear my thoughts on one of the most dreaded recent additions to one of the stalest and lamest anime categories ever.
There is this scenario format where the story resets every few episodes, just so the lead character can choose a different action in some point in his life that will change the later events of the story. It is an element introduced by date sims, where there you chose a girl and move towards winning her. Replaying the game by choosing a different girl, meaning following a different path. This in anime terms, means that time resets and you get…

Probably the most interesting thing about this show is that instead of it being a by-the-books harem anime, it adopts what is referred to as the "omnibus" format, basically meaning that each love interest has an entire arc that ends with them getting together with the main lead - but when the arc ends - the timeline 'resets' and the story and all the character development is brought back to where it is at the start of episode one.
It's maybe a little complicated to wrap your head around at first, but I think it's sort of a genius idea in the sense where all pairings become canon if you have a preference for a particular one. The only real problem that some people might notice is that each of these arcs last about four episodes. Though for me, I think the pacing and writing is done well en…

Not widely known visual novel adaptation of Groundhog day style story about hight school boy caught in a repeating relationship loop.
With missed opportunity to integrate the deeper interconnections between storylines, the enjoyment of unpredictable events of this anime is fueled by expectations of the spectators that the next run will be somewhat better than previous one.
But it is worthy to give a credit to creators that thay have decided to use this modest visual style without cheap simplified facial expression and superdeformed animations with characters reacting to situations and events in more or less a realistic manner.
Is the story unique? - No If it was predictable? - No
Did you enjoy it anyway because you like this genre/set-up? - Yes
Do you think the art style is fitting for…

One thing I can say for certain about this anime is that, this is the only Christmas anime series in existence. There are other anime that had episodes centered around Christmas but this is the only anime to be entirely centered around Christmas. Well, this in it's spiritual successor Seiren but Seiren is disappointing.
This anime have 6 heroines in total, 7 if you count the OVA episode and each 4 episode is centered around 1 heroine. Each episode is it's own story so you can basically skip episodes.
The episodes for each arc is as as follows
Morishima Haruka Arc - Episode 1 to 4
Tanamachi Kaoru Arc - Episode 5 to 8
Nakata Sai Arc - Episode 9 to 12
Nanasaki Ai Arc - Episode 13 to 16
Sakurai Rihoko Arc - Episode 17 to 20
Ayatsuji Tsukasa Arc - Episode 21 to 24
Kamizaki Risa - Epsiode 25 (…

"Dating sim done right" - arguably the right sentence to describe Amagami. These 25 series are like a walkthrough of game on how to make these 6 women to become protagonist's girlfriends who have different backgrounds, different characters and different approaches.
for the story and enjoyment itself, hmmm, i'm not so sure due eventually in all episodes there is no certain or unique pattern that describes how the story is made. it's kinda repetitive and shown the linear pattern about how you meet -> you try to close to a girl -> there is drama or storm occurs in your relationship life -> drama's resolved -> and you'll dating and getting a happy ending. I would like to say there is no major interesting story that piqued me in this series (although you can still find a one or two scenes that…

Amagami SS is an adaptation of a dating sim, featuring alternative routes for each option in the original game as "parallel choices", all as valid as the others. The anime adapts it quite well, but it might not be for everyone.
First off, the good points: the art, sound, and composition were all good enough to above average. Just your standard well produced anime, though it does have that distinctive early 2010s art style, which some people might not particularly like.
And then there's the story.
The problem with a split format like this, with 7 routes, and no common split-off point is that each LI for the MC, Tachibana Junichi, and their stories stand on their own. Sure, they hit the same time period (the festival), but each is separate from the others.
And that's the same problem. So…

Ah really nice romance anime have whe here. There are many love storris whit different cute girls.
The Soundtrack is really good. I follow a boy, how had a date on crismass but the girl dosent came. So he was depressed and so begins the storry. Interisting, isnt? I like really romance Anime, because the art, the music, its so much better than fantasy or like that. Slice of Life show is it to, I like it.
I dont read the Manga, if the Manga exist. But I see there are games from this anime, it cant be this bad fore anime lovers.

I won't lie, I loved the first 24 episodes of this show. I thought that each arc was well developed, each girl had her own quirks and traits that made Junichi become a different person than he was in a previous arc and every outcome was satisfying...
So why did I give it such a low rating? Two words: Final episode
The show felt like it was giving me a delicious piece of cheesecake. Then episode 25 comes along. It takes my cheesecake, shits on it, lights it on fire, then force feeds it to me. The last episode was so unbelievably terrible that it killed any and all enjoyment I had gotten from the rest of the show, which was particularly painful since the episode before it was one of, if not, my favorite.
I could completely recommend this show if you're fine with watching 6 unrelated stor…

Amagami SS is the anime adaptation of the visual novel Amagami made by Enterbrain. It is a standard harem romcom anime that tells the story of Tachibana Junichi a second year boy that got stood up by his date on his last christmas eve, he is finally starting to move past that and just on cue he meets several girls at his school that could potentially be his girlfriend. Let's get started with the negatives of this anime, there are a lot since it's your run of the mill harem romcom that was made at the early 2000's, first of all the MC Junichi is a self insert character that has no personality whatsoever except for being nice and a pervert, he also gets a shot at girls that are obviously out of his league like Morishima because he's the MC. Next up the characters are pretty much too basic an…

A Harem done right! But is not actually a harem.
All of the heroines have their own dedicated arcs so you won't feel down with someone losing as all of them are winners. I especially liked that all characters are very likeable down to the supporting casts. And the MC is tolerable unlike other romcoms/harem where you have to cringe to every dumb decisions they make. This one thinks, is rational and actually does the right things.
I also give props to creators of the anime as they did the perfect placing of each of the girls route. The first route was a great start and the last route was the most anticipated and delivered. They even gave a little twist and a surprise at the final episode which established my good impression on this anime.
Overall it is a very wholesome show and all the he…

God, this one was so weird - in my experience, anyway, there's probably a group of people that like this a lot because how all of the girls get their screen time. (and that can be taken very literary)
Cliche everything, cliche scenes, cliche lines, cliche events, and cliche voice actors - it's kind of difficult to come up with this many quirky characters, yes, but come on. Also the nii-nii thing from the very beginning just irked me real hard. I used to be okay with the imouto shit that is done in animes when I was younger, but it's just plain unnecessary. At least, the two don't get romantically involved with each other, so I guess it's fine.
All of the girls except for the sister get 4 episodes each to show how the MC and the girl gets close. Although it might seem like it's plenty of…

Initially when I first discovered Amagami SS, I thought it was gonna be a singular love story about the main protagonist finding love but it was cut fairly short when it was all separated into four story arcs.
The anime itself isn't bad, in fact, I fairly enjoyed it and managed to watch the first love story easily but it quickly soon got harder and harder to watch when it was all repetitive. Basically everything was kept the same, with the same main plot, same dialogue, pretty much everything else with the exception of a different love story that was similar to the rest. It was all just about a boy that was heartbroken and found love four times over and over again. The anime would of been better if it was just one story and girl with the male protagonist, although separating the anime int…
