When you're a Monogatari Series fan, it's hard not to be a fan. Especially when you're on this third Kizumonogatari movie which tells a lot of the backstory to the Bakemonogatari series. I am very much satisfied with this third movie. The only thing I didn't like was the trip to get here. The first movie was horrible. I don't know who decided to split Kizumonogatari into three movies instead of just doing a series. People (that have never seen any of the series before) who watched this with me were conflicted. But me, already having been a fan of the series, understood everything. The characters do what you would expect of the characters and they are as charming as ever, them in all their good and their flaws. Of course, Kizumonogatari is the events that lead up to Bakemonogatari. Unfortun…

As the wrap-up movie of the Kizumonogatari series of the monogatari archseries, to end and cap off the expositions of Primary character being Araragi Koyomi, Tsubasa Hanekawa, and Oshino Shinobu, how that was inplemented was quite eventful and one that led up to the iteration off especially our protagonist, Araragi Koyomi becoming one who was most notable to be able to wield him(as to why, that cannot be said due to spoiler alerts).
Anyways, this third and final movies gives us not only the perspectives of Araragi Koyomi and Tsubasa Himekawa just like in previous movies of Kizumonogatari but now Oshin Shinobu in the context of how they are viewing in retrospect everything which not just occured in the series but also what occured in some previous times before the start of this anime serie…

Third Choice, Be Miserable
Kizumonogatari Part 3: Reiketsu is a movie about a self-right just school boy, why, because he wants and happy ending.
Is a good and entertaining movie, where we see what a Immortals fight can look like, it bloody and grotesque. The regeneration is both bloody and silly, it's a great spectacle.
koyomi araragi Is such an interesting character, because he's a hypocrite and nice guy, even if the world is worst for it. I am a Tsubasa Hanekawa shipper, and this movie even if it does not Canon, really makes me appreciate their relationship.
It's still has the playful Style, and the animation is so expressive, sexy and is great to look at. the camera work is used to make some spectacularly looking sequences.
It's a great experience and a cool prequel, even if it doe…

Well... I don't know how to react to this anime.
It was both weird and interesting.
It was both beautiful and disturbing.
It had a deep theme and was also absurd.
That's it...
Do I regret watching it?
Hmm... Not really.
Was it an anime I should definitely watch? Meh~ I don't know to be honest...
Did I like it?
A little, maybe...
I can say that it was an unusual plot for me...
It wasn't that bad but it wasn't that good either, I guess I can say. (Relativity)
In general, the characters, drawings, animation style and dialogues were interesting...

Review is mostly for all 3 parts. They definitely cooked really hard with these movies. Reading about the behind the scenes and how long it took these movies to come to fruition, seeing it on screen definitely makes sense. Might be the most character animation I've seen in any anime movie, any scene where there can be movement happening its there, no matter how little, and it makes for such a fluid looking movie its beautiful. The movies themselves are just very cinematic, having the same director as Bakemono it makes sense, but the style is just right up my alley. The fight scenes in this are just crazy raw and fluid its really a joy to watch.

First thing first, this is a cinema, a complete cinema. Okay, now I start writing my review on this pinnacle.
Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen, the final installment of the Kizumonogatari movie trilogy, is an excellent work in storytelling, visual, and emotional depth. Kizumonogatari part 3 picks from where part 2 left off, presenting us with the intense, surreal world of Araragi and the fateful encounter of the greatest oddity of all time—Kiss-Shot Acerola—Orion Heart—Under-Blade, their atypical relationship. Reiketsu-hen is not the beginning or the conclusion of a story, which makes the Monogatari series more exceptional.
From the very beginning, it sets the mood that it's not a tale of joy but a tale of tragedy. The relationship between Araragi and Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Unde…

Kizumonogatari movie trilogy is the adaptation of the first volume of Monogatari Series First Season, written by the gifted author; Nisio Isin. It has one of the best staff members there are and it is produced by studio Shaft. With the directory made with the help of Akiyuki Shinbo, sound directory with Youta Tsuroka, character desings made with the help of Akio Watanabe and so much more experienced staff members than i can list here, it is bound to be a faitfull yet quality adaptation.
I will review this anime using the categories below;

-Figths

*Story
*DIrectorate First of all this looks fucking gorgeous not gonna lie. But it is just more than 'gorgeous'. The character desings are uniuqe and interesting, they have such cool desings it is unreal. An…

Ah, fucking finally, the one entry that chronologically starts it all, and it focuses a lot on Araragi and Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, who so far remained mostly a good hearted pedophile with some serious incestuous tendencies, and a tryhard moe donut eater with a seemingly interesting backdrop that was only teased throughout the previous seasons.
It is well known that it should have been released much sooner, since the adaptations pretty much follows the order of the light novels, which also jumps in time a lot. I don’t know why it took them so long to adapt this story but it ended up working for the better, because:
1-It came out after Koyomimonogatari, the absolute worst entry in the franchise, thus the huge leap in quality by comparison works in its favor.
2-If it c…

I really expected something great but I was ultimately dissappointed. II think the idea was good, and the plot was solid, but it lacked the emotional depth of Bakemonogatari. The melodrama between kiss-shot and Araragi was annoying and the pacing was terrible frankly. It moves way too slow. I think the film did it's job as a prequel but really didn't do much to develop Araragi, Hanekawa, or Oshino's character. Speaking of which, the second most recent review makes a very decent point. Hanekawa's character is thrown completely out of proportion in this movie compared to Bakemonogatari. She is mild-mannered, still somewhat outgoing and friendly of course, but she is wildly different personality-wise so much so that it directly contradicts the ending arc of Bakemonogatari. She supposedly is i…

TLDR;
-Animation looks really weird
-Fights are random and anticlimactic
-Terrible ending
-Hanekawa
There was a lot wrong with this movie series, and it reached an all-time low with this final movie. So first of all, the CGI. The animators use a really weird combination of live action scenes, traditional anime style, and objects that for some reason are neither anime-style or live action. That, combined with the blatant CGI gives everything a really clunky and bizarre feel, especially the fights, which also were pretty bad. The fights all felt very random, each in their own way. It felt like someone came up with the villains and then told the animators to do the rest. The action (aside from the CGI) felt very anticlimactic and lame, despite the interesting concept. Add the CGI, and it jus…

Overall rating: 7, furhter review below
How can a singular movie carry the job an entire trilogy is supposed to do (i.e: tell a damn story)? If your answer was spending 20 minutes on an exposition dump because you finally figured out your story has no heads or tails, then you would be right, but please, never create a work of fiction.
This is Kizumonogatari III: Can we get more of Hanekawa's tits? Pretty please? (this is the real title, don't let the Japanese government lie to you) On this movie, we have Araragi go through a whole depression episode before he finally figured out he wasn't supposed to act like a protagonist and could just let everyone else advance the story for him (which is pretty based if done on purpose), Oshino being a plot device, Hanekawa being a "plot" device and K…

I almost want to say that this is my least favorite of the three films. The oversimplicity of the first film keeps me from saying the former statement with complete confidence, but nonetheless, I didn't feel like this film was all that strong. Did it do its job in explaining how Araragi ended up a sort of half-vampire by Bakemonogatari? Yeah, but the story isn't really where my issues with this film sit. In fact, the overall narrative of Araragi developing this relationship with Shinobu was interesting. I don't feel like this last film gave enough of a reason for me to be invested in their relationship, though, and actually, I don't feel like the bond between them was represented all that well--but the narrative was still fun to follow. Araragi's development really took a ride in this film…

This is absolutely a piece of art. If you don't think so, it's because you didn't understand it and I recommend you do better to see it again. I've read reviews that say it's not even a necessary film, how absurd. Since it shows so many important things for the story of Monogatari.
-They show you the previous servant of Kiss Shot, shown later in Owarimonogatari 2.
-They show you why in the story Kiss shot is a girl.
-They show you the love conflict Hanekawa had throughout the story.
-They show you how powerful Oshino Meme is and why he is so respected.
-They show you why Shinobu was angry with Araragui.
-They show you the same final dialogue that ends the Owarimonogatari 2 story.
-They show you what brings Araragui and Kiss shot together.

I'm choosing to write one review for all parts of Kizumonogatari instead of three separate reviews. This review is from the perspective of someone who read the original Kizumonogatari light novel before seeing these movies. Incidentally, Kizumonogatari was the first and so far only book to make me cry, so I have a particular fondness for this story.
Unlike the TV series, which is known for its colorful and surreal backgrounds, Kizumonogatari goes for a decidedly darker color palette with photorealistic backgrounds. The visuals for the most part look great, although there are a couple parts with CG that looks a bit awkward. What's really impressive is that the animators managed to make all the characters seem like they're a part of those realistic backgrounds. True to the vampire lore, the…

I did not expect to like this trilogy as much as I did.
The Monogatari sereies always was one of my favorite anime series, but after watching this trilogy it has definitely ascended onto my top 3 favorite anime.
I really liked how we got a closer look at the way Araragi used to think before the events of Bakemonogatari took place. He feels pathetic, at least compared to his righteous self that we get to see later on in the series. I like how we get to see a lot of Shinobu's Kiss-shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade forms a lot more. The "ecchi" scenes are top-notch. The animation is surprisingly fluid and clean, which really differentiates this trilogy from the rest of the series as the seasonal anime has more limited animation. The music is amazing, and many tracks like "Bad Bully" surpr…

Kizmonogatari III finishes off the trilogy with a dramatic climax. I enjoyed Kizu I a lot, and the enjoyed Kizu II even more. I can safely say that I think the final piece of this story is on par with Kizu II for me. They were both well executed (although now I think I can admit that it was a bit rushed), and are both amazing films.
This part of the Kizu story was not as focused on crazy fights as Kizu II, although it still has some good combat scenes. It's more dramatic, and goes for a more mellow tone, with a lot of the film being dialogue scenes in true Monogatari fashion. And these scenes are done well, grabbing my attention throughout the whole movie. The climactic fight scene was amazing, and a real highlight of the whole trilogy for me. I think they truly did a great job with this…

Another season, another greatness to witness, like actually, the more I watch of monogatari, the more I fall in love with the series, I seriously believe that's the show's biggest strength
Once again, everything i said about bakemono can apply here, with few differences obviously but monogatari has that consistency that you don't see in a lot of anime
If i were to compare it to bakemono, I'd say bakemono is more entertaining as the cast is complete there, but kizumono is infinitely better written, especially the second and the third movies
Oshino plays his jester role so damn well, on the level of jesters such as gilgamesh in terms of providing flexibility, unpredictability and overall entertainment every time he's on screen
Kiss shot was amazing, didn't like her much in the first movie bu…

Wow, really wow. All the Kizumonogatari movie are outstanding!
Story is so well written (like the series) that 1h passes extremely fast.
In these stories we see an important part of the whole monogatari series since it's mainly the beginning of the story between Shinobu and Araragi. I don't want of course to say more things about it.
Except story which is a truly masterpiece, I have to admit that also drawings are
perfect (10 it's not enough), physic of the body, CGI perfectly fits into everything, and damn Shinobu and Hanekawa are 2 gods came down on earth :O.
SPOILERS:
The most beatiful part I think is reallt the relationship between Shinobu and Araragi, which in my opinion is really well developed.
Also Hanekawa is pretty interesting since we meet her in first movie.
Shinobu and Han…

Kizumonogatari is back at it again with it's 3rd film and all I can say it was extraordinarily amazing.
Spoiler Warning below*****
Story 10/10
We start the film at a short discussion between the characters of Oshino Meme and Araragi Koyomi talking how it is incredible how Koyomi figured out how to overpower the trackers that were after his life and his lord, Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade.
The film advances as we see a wild return of the expert articulation of visuals, imagery and long talks that have left a blemish on anime by the now known "The Monogatari Series". Reiketsu joins the presence of Monogatari by showing thought and cycle of our fundamental character Araragi Koyomi and the recognizable Monologues as we se how Araragi opens up his cognizant and spills it just…

This review is a review of this trilogy of sorts. So this covers the three Kizumonogatari movies that have come out.
Story: 7/10: The story is great, and it has the same Monogatari feel as usual. Its basically an origin story for Araragi and it delivers on that. I don't want to give away any plot details so I won't, because I think you should watch these movies for yourself. The pacing is actually very good, which surprised me because I expected something very sluggish after watching Bakemonogatari, but it surprised me by keeping me engaged for the whole time. It has some weird edits and cuts that can be expected because its basically what makes this series unique. It only got in the way of my enjoyment a few times but overall pretty good story pacing. The story is filled with dialogue o…
