Later edit. Read the manga, it's 10/10. The anime doesn't do it justice

If you don't know if you should watch this, I'll tell you the truth about this show. Or better said, these types of shows, as this isn't the only one.
Kodomo no Jikan is part of the types of shows I like to call "with a mask", or "plot gatekeepers". They start with a few episodes in which they throw controversial or taboo things in your face. They give you this false image, and if you crack, you stop watching and start complaining about a plot you don't even fully know.
After the "tourists" are gone, the show changes course and hits you with the real story which tries to be as heartbreaking and emotional as possible. The controversial things it threw in your face in the first episodes are just the end resu…

Damnnnn... this anime is stressing me out! It feels like an emotional roller coaster in some ways. The character design is decent, not bad. The ending music is catchy I love it. Voice acting is good as well especially Mimi's voice actress. However, if you live in western side of the world I couldn't recommend this anime to you. It tries to portray a situation where grown-ups don't understand kids, using Aoki's mistake as an example. That being said, I actually learned something from this show. Despite the stress, I really enjoyed the show. While a third season seems unlikely.
Character Design: 8/10
Voice Acting: 7.5/10
Music: 8/10
Story: 6/10

This anime is top notch and a must watch for every lolicon out there, a 100% guaranteed "UOOOH 😭" material that will most likely never be outmatched, since the anime industry seems to be playing safer and safer regarding ecchi and our beloved small 2d women, the lolis.
The story revolves around Kokonoe Rin, a precocious and flirtatious elementary school girl, and her interactions with her new teacher, Daisuke Aoki. Rin's playful attempts to seduce her teacher are a central theme, presented with a blend of innocence and provocative allure that makes her character utterly irresistible. A girl liking her teacher is peak anime moe and her mischievous nature, combined with her appearance of blonde long hair and devilish smile are way too captivating. Rin's character is a perfect blend of cute…

The ultimate lolicon anime.
Its just your typical romance between a teacher and his grade school student,... you know...anime stuff 😐
The story revolves around a new grade school teacher the naive and optimistic Daisuke.
As he deals with a very problematic trio of girls Rin, Kuro, and Mimi. (but mostly Rin and Kuro).
Daisuke has unintentionally been sucked into a love triangle.
Kuro has a secret crush Rin. But Rin is in love with the teacher Daisuke.
Rin is a sadistic sociopath, whereas Kuro has more psychopathic tenancies. Rin is this close 🤏 to being a yandere. She has many of the characteristics but just hasnt tasted blood yet. (Well she has tasted blood she licked her teacher’s finger cut, but I was speaking in the murderous sense)
Mimi is the “good girl” of the trio. She was ve…

I can understand most people's problem with this show it is very questionable and when I was watching and reading the manga I felt a little disgusted. I find it crazy how they sexualize a 9year girl and how they try to make it hot when she does adult things (sexual) but to be completely honest I enjoyed the show none the less if you try to ignore the adult themes you would realize that this show has good writing and good written characters.you can even see the relationship between the 9year old girl and her teacher blossom in short you just have to be a little open minded and and smart enough to understand this amazing show 8/10

I know as you watch the anime the first thought that comes into your mind would be its wrong and yes it is in real world of course. But if your someone coming to just enjoy and watch a very epic awesome romantic story then I would recommend this anime to you. MY TIP AND ADVICE WOULD BE AFTER YOU FINISH THE ANIME GO READ THE MANGA BECAUSE THE MANGA IS COMPLETED, in order for you to get a closure and see what actually happens in everything go read the manga, you can start at the beginning and just skip those manga chapters that you see in anime episodes, dont worry let me tell you that it is worth your time.
Let me give you a reassurance as you continue with the story Kodomo no Jikan have no ra*e, it may have some concept and mention but it doesnt have something like ra*e. By ra*e I would…

Okay just hear me out. From the perspective of a 13ish year old who barely understood the concepts of relationships or sex, this was a shockingly compelling story for what it is. Frankly, wouldn't recommend unless you REALLY don't care about moral issues when watching anime. If you're already okay with weird/wrong shit, might as well give this one ago, chances are you've already seen worse.
Pros: - You can't get much more "mid-2000's chibi" than this art style. If you like that era of art you'll probably like this
- Again, the story is weird but it kept me interested enough to keep going until the end.
Cons: - You can't get much more "mid-2000's chibi" than this art style. If you dislike that era of art you'll probably hate this.
- Honestly is there a bigger pedo-bait story on MAL? I s…

I wish I could say I never watched this. There were moments I awkwardly chuckled when the show was almost funny or so painfully depraved that I had to laugh.
A person I was interested in wanted to share their favorite anime with me and I wish I just said no to this one. What an uncomfortable experience. I can't think of who the target audience for this would be other than people who like shock factor content or are into underage anime characters.
If you're into shock humor or hypersexualized underage characters I think you could find this anime enjoyable. Y'all are suspicious but you do you I guess.

I had to take many, many cold showers after watching this show and I am sure that I have been added to some sort of watch list for finishing it.
This show is just blatant pedophilia. I can understand a 600 year old vampire loli or something of the sort; hell, I can even understand full on loli hentai existing but this show crosses the line for me. What makes this show so unsettling is the rationalization of pedophilia. It portrays the situation Aoki-sensei finds himself in as out of his control and not a very bad thing, partially because of that. It also portrays third graders as being a bit too mature, as if they could handle, or even understand the sexual situations they're constantly remarking about and being in during the entirety of the show. I'm not sure if the author of the manga h…

Kodomo no Jikan is simply a masterpiece that's been stunted by western politics and moral dilemmas.
The story is amazing, the characters are iconic, everything about the series is 10/10.
The anime is cut drastically short compared to the very long running manga, which is disappointing. However the anime is still worth watching.
A tale of forbidden romance, innocent yet poisoned by taboo. A girl who suffers from the loss of her Mother, a man who discovers how blind love can truly be.
Sadly, all of this is overlooked. Simply scroll through other reviews and you'll see people ignoring all of these qualities because the romance of this anime offended them.
KNJ is a fine example of why freedom of artistic expression should be protected from moral supremacy and systematic censorship.

Welll well welll. I just watched the whole thing and i gotta say, if you're still new to watching anime, i recommend you to not watch this.... yeah! Dont watch it.. this kind of anime is why so many people develop a lolita complex.. ok ill explain why.
This anime is about a teacher who teaches grade 3 students and one of those students whos nme is Rin got a crush on him.. hmmmmm . crush is kinda a small word ... madly inlove would be the perfect word, because this kid will do anything just to seduce her teacher ! To the point you, a normal human being will also be pulled to the beneath of 7 stages of hell where all pedo thrown to.
Well, even with everything i just said, ill tell you, this anime is one of those i call art.. the ability change human emotion and release an instant dopamine…

I can't possibly write this without there being some spoilers so I apologize for that, but being vague here will just result in me looking like a lolicon. There isn't a way to justify Kodomo no Jikan's existence or to justify watching it other than morbid curiosity and a VPN provider just in case you were to be put on a watchlist. I imagine coworkers finding out someone in their childcare center watched this would lead to some revoked certifications.
Kodomo no Jikan is about a man that starts teaching a third grade classroom, and being the new teacher that he is, immediately gets pushed and pulled around by his students that refuse to listen to him, that are also more sexually aware than he initially would ever realize.
The art is objectively nothing special. Characters faces look extrem…

I actually felt like I NEEDED to write a review about this because I really got changed and supreised with this anime.
KnJ, when I heard of it, and watched some "Out-of-context" Videos, I just thought:
"Hey, another lolicon anime filled with tons of fan-service. Another example of how disgusting people can be"
Honestly, I kinda have a prejudice against Ecchi Stuff. Because it's most of the times, usless and annoying. If I wanna see boobies and titties, I might aswell watch a hentai.
The exception is when the Anime has something far more interesting to offer, besides the fan-service, and boy, I gotta admit, Kodomo No Jikan is one of this exceptions.
Kodomo No Jikan is a funny anime to watch. It has a pretty cool art-style, comedy and interesting characters and plot.
If you are a person…

(So, to be honest, I had a really hard time judging and scoring this show. I can tell you right off the bat that it can be well-deserving of a 1/10, but I wouldn't bat an eye at someone giving it a really good score, like a 7 or an 8/10. This just goes to show how controversial this can become. So I'm about to explain why I scored this a 6: something that was thoroughly enjoyable / easy to watch, despite being so for a myriad of reasons.
I MYSELF go "WTF is this guy thinking, writing a reiview this big?! No one gives a shit", but I now understand what's the feeling of having such urge to say so much about something - even if it's about this dumb lil' show)

I can see why people might be wary of Kodomo no Jikan, but I would ask that you give it a chance. While at first it may just seem like a barely legal lolicon fanservice extravaganza, it isn't. The characters are actually incredibly interesting, and I genuinely feel like this is a good anime that is worth watching.
It's not even just the main girl (Kokonoe Rin), the other two girls, the teachers, her brother, all of them are interesting in themselves. In who they are, WHY they are how they are, how they interact with each other. There is also a fair share of humour in there too, so don't think it's all deep-thinking drama.
I would definitely recommend that you at least watch an episode or two before you judge it, you might realise why it really is a captivating series.

This anime is literally about kids with PTSD/Parental issues, and depicts greatly all the cases a social worker needs to be called.
It doesn't even classify as a lolicon anime like most viewers reported. It's barely just some lolicon fan service;no story, no plot ( and I don't mean ecchi scenes ).
But if this was under the sci-fi tab or even was a pure lolicon anime, I'd give it an 8. Now it doesn't even fit in any category, even the drama was forced.
I'd suggest this anime only if you want to fill up your time and have no other planned anime to watch

This anime is the weirdest thing that happened upon me recently, not because of the amount of loli blackmail contained but because of how this anime will take you from holding a knife to your eyes to trying to deal with the amount of emotional weight that is dropped onto you.
It is a good story, if you can get to that. Every character is given a backstory that fits them and defines why they are the way they are, except our main character who is just this boring guy who really needs to figure out what he wants to do with his teaching career.
There are two different kinds of episodes in this series, the kind that will follow the same trend of:
1:Teacher guy gets yelled at by someone and told to toughen up
2: He toughens up
3: Kids make fun of him and the loli blackmail begins
4:Teacher g…

THIS REVIEW IS SPOILER FREE!
What can I say that hasn't already been said about Kodomo no Jikan?
Probably not much.. but I love the characters so much, both the teachers, as well as Kuro, Mimi, and Rin (I love those names as well). I initially started the series out of sheer curiosity, and I got a little worse than I had expected. It kind of felt like the demonic love-child of Toradora and Boku no Pico.
It took me a very long time to complete Kodomo no Jikan even though I had the full first season plus the OVAs readily accessible for at least a month before I completed it. I just couldn't take such high doses of children my baby brother's age being so lewd.. but what got me through the series was the comedy. If I wasn't crying, I was laughing. Not many anime have made me literally laugh…

Ok, lets make an easy review that can make people choose if watch or not this anime. In my opion reading the manga would be the best option since this 12 episodes doesn't end the plot, yeah because there is a plot, and is even a good one.
Kodomo no Jikan is known for the loli aspect, and yes it was very disturbing the first 5 episodes, I was giving up until I watched the 6 ep, there start the good things about this anime. P.S. should be added drama genre!
Story: (8)
Aoki Daisuke is and avarage guy, doesnt have any kind of experience in life, but now he's becoming a grade school teacher and he want to be a really responsable and reliable. Here now we meet our other 3 main character, all girls(child?), and one of them Rin Kokonoe seems to have fallen in love with him since the first day.…

What is Kodomo no Jikan, really? Does it want to be a comedy following a school teacher's ridiculous misadventures? Does it want to be a pornographic show about children? Does it want to be the tragic tale of a poor schoolgirl's sad, lonely life so far?
Well, this show certainly doesn't know the answer!
I really mean it, I don't recommend this, even just because of the uproar surrounding it. It's confusing and really not worth the watch.
Positive aspects:
1. Some scenes can be rather funny, the teacher's reactions are priceless.
2. The show at least LOOKS good.
3. The characters are actually rather well done for something that looks from the outside like Jared Fogle's favorite porno.
Negative aspects:
1. It's basically softcore child porn.
2. The show doesn't seem to want to mak…
