This show is what happened when Nishikata got fed up with Takagi's constant teasing and decided to become a power ranger, before falling in love with Marin who got too into her character while cosplaying as Cha Hae In.
It exactly sounds ridiculous the way I want it to be: Fudo, the leader of the world’s greatest superhero team, is dating Desumi, one of the strongest fighters in an evil organization trying to conquer the world. They’re supposed to be mortal enemies, but instead they’re sneaking around trying to have a normal relationship.
You know, normal couple stuff... Like holding hands while actively committing treason against your respective organizations.
Their relationship is genuinely loving, supportive, and surprisingly healthy. Instead of dragging out the usual rom-com nonsens…

You know what? It really had me on the first half.
I love leg kicking romance, y'know? The giggly kind that gets me rolling in my bed. This was just that for about six episodes where these two were evolving in a cute, albeit, very immature anime-fyed relationship. Yes, forbidden love, one of my favourite romance tropes when done right, but I could say that about anything.
I'll say, this felt like a well-realized, first-time double autism romance, instead of a naive couple. I liked it, and It would be fine if it stayed that, but evolved, and made sense, yet, this one doesn't do that. The story eventually becomes pure forced conflicts that don't evolve the relationship, which I deeply hated.
Instead of both characters having the reigns of it, the world starts trying to put a foot on it.…

This anime kicks ass. It is cute, nicely animated and just a solid watch. Great job from the dub cast! An excellent 90's style rom com. Holds up to multiple viewings. Characters are adorable. Sound is solid. Music is extra silly. Side characters are well done! Every episode is just warm and cozy vibes.
Fuck the haters. This show is adorable, but I actually wish it offered some more episodes to wrap things up. Both of the main characters are entertaining to watch together. This is just a good time! Grab a blanket, eat some pizza and stop worrying so much.

At first, I thought I was going to drop this anime because the colors were way too flashy. But as I kept watching, the comedy actually clicked for me. The romantic humor is light but effective, and the sweet dialogue feels natural, not forced.
What I enjoyed the most is the male MC. The way he talks is basically every guy’s standard flirt template—the kind of lines that will make you smile if you’re into words of affirmation. Plus, he’s a total green flag. His relationship with the heroine feels healthy, wholesome, and filled with small, sweet moments that don’t need heavy drama to work.
Overall, this anime ended up being much more enjoyable than I expected. It’s light, funny, and romantic in a simple but effective way. Perfect to watch when you want something easy, sweet, and entertaini…

This anime is a rom-com about the forbidden love between a hero and villain in a tokusatsu based setting. Fudou is the red member of the hero team Gelato 5. Desumi is one of the leaders of Gekko, an evil organization with the goals of world domination. Despite that, they’re deeply in love. The anime begins with them already going out, though it does have a few flashbacks to show how that came to be. The focus is on how they do their best to progress as a couple despite having to keep their relationship a secret.
There is some level of progression from story to story in terms of the circumstances of characters changing. However, beyond that there isn’t really much in the way of an overarching plot. Most episodes are divided into two distinct halves, each with a separate story. Most of thes…

This show starts of with a Power Rangers like group called Gelato 5 and their fight against evil organization Gekko who collect negative energy to use toward world domination. This show is about two characters Red of Gelato 5 and Reaper Princess of Gekko, and their forbidden relationship. This is a very Romeo & Juliet situation but nobody dies and the two “houses” don’t hate each other but have a beneficial working relationship.
Overall, it’s an extremely wholesome story with a lot of really sweet moments that get balanced with a whole lot of weird that just makes sense. The romance is really good. The side characters are solid when they get screen time. This story has lots of fluffy romance moments, and in the end just really cute. A lot of the usual power rangers good vs evil that you…

So this is a romcom. The twist is, you take your everyday average romcom's last episode and make it the first ep of LAWD.
So they confess in the first ep and it goes on from there.
The whole show is rather average if you look closely, there's nothing exceptionally good or bad about it. But I must admit after watching a few romcoms I was really missing the part where the MCs enjoy their relationship. Yeah here everything is easy and stakes are looow, any problems they have they just resolve by talking. Starts with the first ep (not a spoiler really and greatly simplified):
-b-b-but we are mortal enemies
-yes but I love you and I'm sure we'll work it out
-hmm, if you say so then let's try!
After seeing countless "will they won't they's", stretchings the plot thin, delays, misunderstandings…

A parody of the power rangers is up against generic evil organization. Completes with kids cheering them on and watching the "episode" of the battle on TV.
The twist here is that it's a rom-com between the red ranger and one of the princesses of evil corp. Also that they're both cinnamon buns. Since love in the workplace is against company policy (yes for both of them) they decided to date in secret and keep up appearances as nemesis.
Overall this was super cute and it had a few nice messages regarding a supportive relationship. The one super cringy aspect of it was the power ranger parody, that... that was painful. And I hate that they kept repeating the transformation sequence like it was sailor moon episode, it just hurt more and more each time.
Plot & writing = 7/10
Plot wise ther…

I felt like I was watching the anime the anime character is supposed to watch inside the anime itself to avoid copyright laws.
The overall concept is great, but it's an anime heavily dependent on interesting and unique characters, which becomes a problem when the characters have little to no identifiable traits and are just bland, boring, and cliche. There really isn't anything inherently wrong with this show, it's just your generic romance, and there are some instances where it is above-average in the entertainment department, but they never did anything to flesh out any aspect of the series. Not to mention, the conflict between Gekko and Gelato feels more like "we're gonna spar in public but frame it as hero vs. supervillain so we can do what we want without regard to public safety" rat…

Loved the premise but it gets really stale after a while. —In the end, I just couldn’t take this show seriously with episodes having the plot of a SpongeBob episode. I’ll probably finish this when I get bored again idk… (And if it wasn’t already obvious Desumi is best girl :P
UPDATE FINISHED THE SHOW*
Had 3 episodes left and decided to watch them in dub. The show's whole budget went into the opening and some fights (especially Ep 12). Found Desunis Dub VA extremely annoying but I did like the whole cake cut reference in Ep12s fight. 6/10 The show's just not for me. *And wtf is Desumis outfight.

"LOVE AFTER WORLD DOMINATION"
Genre- Romance, Comedy, Parody, Shounen, Action.
Walking on the path of forbidden love has been a tradition since ancient ages. A course where lovers meet secretly, tell lies to the entire world for a more fruitful blossom and share the burden of always looking away from each other in case someone finds out. But all in all, this path is filled with happiness and joy if only you bear the courage to walk on it.
Fudo is a member of the 'Getalo 5' a team dedicated to protecting world peace. His better half, Desumi, is a member of 'Gekko', an organization filled with combatants whose ultimate goal is world domination. While both of them are eternal enemies that share the totally opposite goal, they fall in love after Fudo mans up and confesses his feelings to De…

Love after World Domination was shown to be a funny story about a hero, associated with an organization called the Gelato 5, and a villain, associated with an organization called Gekko, falling in love and needing to hide it from the public eye. The show was enjoyable because the two protagonists found themselves in a variety of scenarios regarding both love and their surroundings. This became a little nerve wracking as they would only be able to meet when the Gelato 5 and Gekko meet.
This series contains several tropes, such as an overpowered hero falling in love at first sight with a villain, a jealous girlfriend who overreacts when the boyfriend does seemingly romantic actions for non-romantic reasons, a dense boyfriend who does not know why his actions hurt his partner and misundersta…

overall I would say it is good. the characters are decent, the conflicts are well thought out, the artwork and sound track are interesting. I do not dislike the character designs and outfits even though some stuff is too flamboyant. the anime is about a simple love story between two people who cannot be together because they are mortal enemies. this is a unique twist on the classic romeo and juliet plotline but it very entertaining to watch.
however there is one thing that I absolutely despise. in episode 8, we are introduced to Anna Hojo. her character is a 2 dimensional overexaggerated caricature that is written for the sole purpose of pissing off the audience. episode 8 was not a fun experience to watch as it completely ruined the mood the show had been building up (more on this late).…

I was never really crazy about the Power Rangers when I was a kid. I was also never keen on the rehashed anime versions in the past that took inspiration from the Power Rangers.
That being said, this anime is an exception. To say it simply, this anime is just fun. It doesn't feel like it wastes a minute of not being fun. It knows "what it is" and stays in it's lane in order to focus on it being enjoyable to watch. The characters are so well-done that it feels like several of them could be the headliner and the show would not miss a beat.
The "hero and villain romance" isn't completely unique, in general, but it is unique in the way that it's handled as a comedy, and one that tries to still incorporate common courting/dating expectations and desires. I would like to see a season 2 and l…

I think it's weird to rate things on expectations. I mean, of course when I see something that looks interesting, I've kinda got some notions of what I think I might be in for. Well, I'm going to rate this anime based on what it is, and how I enjoyed it. I went in expecting a cute romance between a superhero and villain, and that is what I got.
Honestly I was in the mood for some light hearted, heart warming stuff and a little fun. I do get into darker themes like anyone else, but the thing that exhaust me with lots of anime in the romance genre is the heart wrenching cliff hangers and cheap heartbreak drama. They really blast you with that sometimes ya know? This one of course has a small hiccup, but it's not the usual torture session and wraps up nicely before that episodes conclusion.…

Despite nonsensical background of characters and sometime absence of common sense in their world it is still quite enjoyable to watch how their relationships unfold. This show is at base a solid 7 and depending on how much you can handwave some nonsense I would say you can have great time watching it. Setting is somewhat fresh and thankfully mostly kept out of school. Still, for some reason they are the school students, probably a requirement for target audience. Not that it makes much of impact on story, but gives chance for some cosplay screen time.
Now that would be not much of a spoiler, as it comes right of the start, that MC have confessed straight away. So we a spared of usual slow build up to the confession and get straight to the part of developing couple relationships which are…

This was exactly what I thought it was going to be.
A ridiculous yet heartwarming love story about two rivals from different sides of a battlefield... And much more.
Although the art isn't always the sharpest, the story might lack details and we didn't get to see much of the private lives of all the characters, this anime easily deserves to be called "perfect". It had a story, it had an insight into both worlds - of the goodies and the baddies, it had fanservice and, most importantly, it made the audience go "aww" and "HAHAHAHA" - which is all a good anime needs to have.
Our main characters are a perfect match, their friends and other side characters have their firm place in the story... As unoriginal as it is (good in love with evil, all the Power Rangers jokes...) "Love after World Domi…

Pretty lovely anime, easy to watch, easy to get into the story.
This anime is a mix between romance & comedy, however, unlike many other animes, it's equally balanced between those two genres. And rest assured, the comedy is done in a good way, the jokes, funny scenes are often on point. While there are a few fan service references, this show isn't naughty at all, the overall mood remains a cute one.
There are many different characters, each of them has a developped personality ( but don't expect much originality though ) and the world building of this serie feels coherent enough, the show makes a good use of thoses premises ( evil vs good with a sentai force ) while never taking itself too seriously, the result is a funny light hearted show that is enjoyable to watch.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if a Power Ranger fell in love with a member of Cobra (GI Joe)? Me neither, but that's what this anime is like.
Plot: Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de is about Fudou Aikawa, the leader of Gelato 5 (Power Rangers) falling in love with Desumi Magahara, a high ranking 'Princess' of the evil villain group known as Gekko (Cobra). These 2 attempt to balance this newly sprouting relationship with their everyday lives' on the different sides of justice, as well trying to not get caught by their coworkers/the public.
Honestly, I love the concept, since it's one that you don't see very often. It's interesting to see 2 people on completely opposite ends of reality come together and find common ground, in which they are able to fall in love over. Sure there ar…

Love is in the air.
Love makes the world go round.
Every year needs a new love story because love explains everything we see and feel daily. During 2022, without a doubt, the title of "Couple of the year" must be for Desumi Magahara / Reaper Princess and Fudō Aikawa / Red Gelato of the anime Love After World Domination.
This love story is about a forbidden love using the same dilemma as Romeo and Juliet.
The most relevant quality of this story is that even though Love After World Domination is 100% romantic, it is also 100% comedy. That combination is tough to obtain. Traditionally, romantic comedies are mainly comedies, and due to that, the romantic side is presented ridiculously.
Love After World Domination is different. Even though you will always laugh, the romantic relationship…
