I've never hated the team of protagonist as much as i hate Seirin, simply because the amount of plot armors that Seirin have are just too much to the point that it's becoming more and more annoying in season 2. What a way to ruin the excitement. I always on the protagonist's side in every sports anime, but this one is really annoying. The show is saved by the art and some characters. It is sucks as always but Akashi is justice. I would have given it 5/10 if it's not for him and other Generation of Miracles. Either way, i could have enjoyed it more if it's not because of it's massive plot armor

The truth is that such a good season, it can be seen that the elimination of the previous season was on purpose so that we could see the resurgence of this basketball group, for that very reason I think it improves in purely history matters, although I also believe that it has a blunder and it is the powers that players acquire. That thing about the powers the first time you see it, it may be a bit real although I highly doubt it, but there comes a point when things begin to happen, such as entering the area that no longer convinces you, it seems that they became a super saiyan or something similar.
The ending is good to dry but it could have been better and the characters, as in the previous season, the whole team does not stand out but only half of it.
I think that this season t…

Having watched 2 seasons now, I have a pretty good grasp of Kuroko no Basket. I've watched my fair share of sports anime, and my favourite will probably always be Haikyuu for many, many reasons. And hearing that Kuroko was comparable and some would even say better than Haikyuu, I knew I'd eventually get around to watching this.
So far, it's not. Don't get me wrong, it's very good, and has consistently received a high rating from me over the past 2 seasons and 2 OVAs, but it feels repetitive.
Firstly, you could make a drinking game out of how many surprised faces the characters make when someone pulls an outrageous move or shows a new skill. It happens in almost every single game. While at times it's definitely reasonable and makes it even more hype, the pacing of each match just seems…

As a high level Basketball Player, I'm highly relating to this piece of art that is Kuroko no Basket. Here, I will talk as Kuroko No Basket as a whole and not only the second season. Not that that the Second Season is not good but i need some later elements to fill up what I'm trying to say.
Kuroko no Basket is in reality a story talking about how to reach the perfect basketball power. Kagami wants to be the greatest but what is he missing ? To Kuroko, the answer is clear, the only way for a team to become the greatest is to play team basket-ball, and that, is the Basketball which Kuroko Plays.
As a Basketball player myself, Kuroko can only be right here, nobody can win alone in a sport that involves 10 people including yourself on a court that small. When you play alone, everybody beco…

My analysis, it was a good season overall improving something I already had in S1 had few games, but for me it was good in a way. This season focused more on dialogues and character development, a highlight of this season, the few games they had paid off in the end.
The confrontation against Yosei was beautiful, it passed excitement and adrenaline seemingly Kuroko no Basket like a tower of challenges, where Kuroko will defeat the members of the miracle generation one by one, which makes this a very mannered thing for a final plot.
Even knowing that, what will really stand out is the past and that was the highlight of this season, like a lesson to be learned, Seirin has evolved a lot and it's fun to see that evolution.

Kuroko no Basket 2
The second season of Kuroko no Basket is definitely the strongest of the series. Not only have the animations increased here, but there was actually also tension and a noteworthy atmosphere.
The pattern stayed the same, with average everyday episodes between basketball games. The games had mostly the same problems as in the first season but showed massive improvements in terms of implementation and atmosphere.
The characters remained mostly the same, even if you learned a little more background. Unfortunately, the characters are still flat and dull. This does not harm their slight sympathy, but one could have gotten a lot more out of here. Especially the female characters are the definition of incidental and empty.
The main story is the same, the championship is ta…

Story - 6: this season was based off of only 2 games, they never have any subplots to really keep the watcher interested. They never develop Satsuki's feelings for Kuroko and it was overall not that capturing.
Also, THE OVERSEXUALIZING. Especially of Satsuki. You have to keep in mind, these are first years, so they're 15, 16 at most. even the peeking scene at the sauna made me uncomfortable. And the coach who is a whole grown lady walking around naked in a 16 year old boy's home. The directors did a little too much fanservice. They made most character's builds a bit unrealistic causing a few points off of art in addition to the similar faces of two characters.
Sound - 9: one point was taken off for the low tier English parts. Kagami and Tatsuya were their for decent amount of time yet soun…

After seeing the first season, my immediate reaction was, “that's it?”, I heard tons of praise and shootouts to this show but it didn't live up to nearly what it was hyped up to be for me, perhaps that's my problem for not caring for Basketball, to begin with, but then I watched the second season and it finally clicked.
Story (7.5/10):
One of the first season's biggest problems was highlighting the focus of the plot. Sure we were introduced to the rivalry at hand, set up a tournament that would span 3 seasons, but the in-between team member drama and progression were kind of left out. The characters seemed like they had a story to tell, but their voices were never heard.
With this second season, after Seirin trained hard for the entirety of the first season, finally getting the big fishes…

After watching the first season of Kuroko no Basket i wasn't that impressed. I heard a lot of amazing things about the series but it turned out to be just an good sports anime. I did think that it was going to pick up in the second season because thats how sports anime are.
STORY:
Our favorite basketball team move on to the winter cup and finally we get some huge hype and butt-clenching action in this series. We had some slivers of it in the first season but now its in full force with the Touhou vs Seirin game being one of the best sports anime match ups ever and a really good game, even the game against Murasakibara's team was an excellent one(even if it wasnt the most logical). There are some plot holes (like how no team in the winter cup managed to score one 3 against Atsushi's team u…

Murasakibara is my favorite character in this anime, shame he didn't get to use his zone for more than 10 seconds but hey, when he entered it... I was screaming. Me and my friend watched this together and we couldn't contain ourselves.
This anime gave me so much enjoyment and carried my mind away from the goddamn pandemic that was happening. The first season is a but meh, with Aomine being the real MVP of the whole season... But GODDAMN the second season with Midorima and Murasakibara being badass as they both are... I loved all of it.
Midorima is a badass character by himself aswell, shooting his threes from across the entire field is so goddamn sick. Both Midorima and Murasakibara suffered alot from plot armor though, and they didn't get to show their true potential mostly. Midorima…

After recently completing season 1, I’ve finally had time to watch season 2 of Kuroko no Basket!
Kuroko no Basket season 1 was a spectacular season and had itself embedded as one of my favourite sports anime and season 2 didn’t disappoint.
In my review for the first season, I mentioned how the anime is not to be taken literally and the exaggerated or special skills are there for entertainment, nevertheless Kuroko no Basket took it one step further with the introduction of insane new abilities.
Kuroko no Basket also just got a whole lot better and interesting with the first appearances of powerful new characters, some of which were foreshadowed in the first season while some were completely new and unexpected.
Interesting new stories and background as well as the aforementioned new char…

The definition of good, but not great.
It was a clear, all-around improvement upon the first season. The peak moments of the games are more hype. The games, while the outcome is still somewhat known, are more suspenseful and engaging.
There is better animation in both the peak moments and the standard game moments. But similar to the first season, I have problems with feeling for the characters and how the basketball games are portrayed.
For the most part, I don’t care for any of the characters. While the show tries to develop them some, they still feel like shells and artificial. The only character I liked was Kiyoshi, because I felt his development made sense and he seemed somewhat geniune. As for the actual games, I still dislike how some strategies that were unstoppable are just…

When basketball and "super powers" meet:
I Also Dont Like Sports Anime But I After Watching Was Deeply Inspired To Play Basketball. So If you Like Shonen Watch It You Will Loev it.
Just Give It A Damn Shot
After 15 Minutes Of 1st Episode You Will Fall In Love With Kuroko No Basket.
And after Watching 1st Episode I Watch 10 Episode A Day And Completed it in
1.5 Weeks. Kuroko no basuke tells the story of a young man named Kuroko who has a unique talent and decide to join the basketball team of his Highschool. I found this anime very interesting and really really good even if Basketball isn't my favourite sport. It is so good that I watched it a second time not too long ago. A unique anime that contains a lot of action and suspense all grouped up together to make an anime who will make yo…

Kuroko No Basket season 2 is the best out of all the seasons. It has Kagami vs Aomine the most exciting match ever, and it featured both teams at full power. Shows a little bit more character development to Murakibara, the Aomine hype is still there but not as much anymore. It has excitement, character development, and intense AF matches. It has the most exciting breathtaking matches out of the three seasons, and I felt like the characters improved the most in this season. Certain characters like Himuro have been introduced and he fits in the story really well, plus Aomine vs Kagami in the zone is the most exciting last minutes in this entire anime ever. Hell not even my inner Akashi fanboy can stop this season from being the best out of the three.
PROS:
-Aomine vs Kagami epic AF
-The mos…

I'm going into this assuming you watched season 1.
It’s similar to how they did with One Piece. They take the characters and give them a bit more background from when they were younger so we get to see a little of Kagami’s time in America for example and I just want to say his motivation specifically is kind of toxic, I mean you don’t bet friendship, if you do then that’s probably not the kind of friend I would want, just saying.
I didn’t think about it too much with the last season but it really sets up for this season, I mean the amount of things it has is really interesting, the way Kuroko plays, and Kiyoshi Teppei for crying out loud, I knew I liked him at the end of the last season but he’s a knight with a jersey instead of armor! He really pulls his weight as a character. Momoi-Sa…

So, I feel like I have a lot to say about this season of Kuroko no Basket. The first thing is to praise this anime on how brilliant it is at storytelling and suspense. Even more so than the first season, this season hit those points perfectly. I said this in my previous review, but Kuroko no Basket wasn't remarkable to me initially. It doesn't deserve anything less than 10 points, but it also isn't astounding. However, this season may have changed my views on that.
As I mentioned, the building of suspense is one of the few things this anime truly shines with, and it's something that I appreciate. It's very good at skewing your expectations. For example, during most of the games that Serin plays, there is an immaculate push and pull that is seen. In other words, each game begins by making…

This is based on my opinions and my experiences.

So first thing i wanna say that this sequel is like another episode from kuroko no basuke series, like episode 1 to episode 2. For me, which i watch it "marathon" or as fast as i can to complete this anime, i really enjoyed this "thing" or "feature" that studio gave, but i don't know if i watch it with some delay between release date from the season 1 to season 2.
The story is similar to season 1 so i don't really want to review it again, but there are some thing that in the season 1 they are'nt in there, yeah the special effect and the super name for the super skill, for me i am not really enjoyed this super effect, that makes the series is more unrealistic than before. I knew that the creator want to make the developm…

This season went by faster than the first I must say.
Story 8/10
The story continues with a different type of tune where you learn more about the characters pasts. Kiyoshi is introduced formally and we got to see how Seirin came to be. You get insight into Kagami's past too along with others. This meant the games were longer, the moments in between were also but they had a lot of story. In my opinion even though this wasn't as hyped as season 1 in terms of play, this allowed us to see beyond the basketball into the psyche of our characters.
Soundtrack 8/10
The OP and ED continued to be great especially the second OP.
Art 7/10
I definitely noticed a decrease in quality. And I truly believed they could have done more to make animation a lot more satisfying. It is a shounen at the end o…

I love this show. It gets me pumped up no matter what. But I just cannot agree with the direction it insists on going. I love the show, but I hate the two main characters. I hate Kuroko and I hate Kagami. I love Kise, I hate Aomine. I love Midorima and hate Murasakibara.
I love characters who put their blood and sweat and battle it out in a long drawn battle. Inspiring themselves when they are down, forcing themselves to never give up and charge on. Kuroko no basket has many characters like these who I really love. Kise, Midorima, Hyuga and my favorite character of this season Kiyoshi Teppei.
I hate that the show's essential message is that naturally born gifted people are better than those who work hard and bleed and sweat for their dreams. Essentially Kagami who was built as a solid…
