What on earth was this. I was dying by episode one. Thankfully, it was very fast-paced, so it wasn't too rough of a watch, but my god, that was something.
This is definitely very fanservicy. It's a strange story, it does okay but the ending was just eh. All of the women of course love our main character too, for some reason, because of course (ew). Also, the homeroom teacher being a literal child. "Oh but she isn't a kid she just looks like it" WHY, it's SOOOO EW.
I watched this knowing I'd give it a low score because I wanted to solidify my rating scale. If you're here for what it advertises itself to be, you'll like it.
Also, what's with the women having very red spots with shiny white dots on their shoulders, thighs, boobs, everywhere???? That cannot be attractive, can it?? What????…

It is a great and one of the most funniest animes i have watched so far, if you are able to understand some of these jokes.
some of them were so hilarious I can't explain and refrences to so many other anime and trends that you will most likely miss them if you are not active on social media .
If you love and understand jokes then this anime is highly recommended .
The artsyle is a bit baby like but it doesn't lack in story.

This series has no proper story, no proper romance, no destination or target and no past, just everyday school life of a boring guy.
But it was incredibly funny, especially the choices, voice of announcer and how Daiko-san is involved in these choices.
Character settings were also aligned properly for the male MC.
Random deep explanation of meaningless stuff.
I watch it even now at random times when I'm sad or bored to cheer up. I think this can cheer up anyone else the same way as it did for me.
Thank you for creating this anime with it's amazing animation style.

This is one of those anime when I'm bored enough with other anime, I usually re-watch this anime.
Still as entertaining as ever!
The character designs are beautiful, cute, this makes me really enjoy watching.
The storyline is quite interesting, especially when the Narrator has to read the Choices while laughing a little, and I laughed too when I heard it, MC and other friends did a lot of silly things because of this choice.
For character Yukihara, I quite like him, has a Tsundere nature and sometimes displays a hidden cute figure.
But unfortunately this anime is still not completely finished, there are still many mysteries that have not been revealed, and it has been quite a long time since this anime was released, I hope there will be a second season for this anime.

"Life is a series of choices"
Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love Comedy wo Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru (a mouthful of a title) is literally just lolis' and comedic relief. Very few anime series will have you openly laughing rather than just letting some extra breaths out of your nose while you smile.
Plot: Kanade Amakusa is a high school student who had a system known as "Absolute Choice" forced upon him by God. This system forces him to decide between 2 (typically awful) decisions for him to act out in his everyday life, causing him to be known as the guy who does extremely random things, and getting placed in the school least populars' known as the "Reject Five". As Kanade tries to get through his missions and choices in order to get out of this cycle, we watch as his life unfolds…

(TLDR review below, as usual, thanks for reading c:)
Everything you do is based on some kind of choice (discluding reflexes). Subconsciously choosing which path to take on, big or small. Imagine that being made apparent with a twist of being always bombarded with asinine decisions.
Enter NouCome.
It's your choice from here, but you have to choose one.
1. Continue reading.
2. Discontinue reading. 3. Look at the score, agree with it, and click helpful vote (the most recommended and most popular choice these days).
NouCome is an unprecedented anime that takes daily routines to an outrageous degree, very literally, resulting in a relatively funny anime that would fit the generation it resides in. I'm not one to snipe "generic" anime and present them from the head as the disease that intox…

Huge Fan
Underrated
It's not often that you can find an obscure comedy anime that is genuinely funny. I feel like a lot of comedy anime really misses the mark by solely trying way too hard to be over the top and ridiculous. Then falling flat, because the humor just isn't really there. Yes, this show is over the top and ridiculous, but only to emphasize the humor that already natural lands because of this shows premise. With the plot of the show being that a character is constantly forced to make ridiculous decisions that will ruin any social situation he is in, this show just has a higher chance of landing more over the top jokes then others. I feel like there is defiantly a target audience for this one. and it won't really appeal to everyone. If you are looking for an emotionally thrill…

The only reason I finished this show was because of the minute enjoyment I got from the fact that this was a romcom anime and because of the white haired girl, Yukihira. It has all the marks of a bad high school harem comedy, with the very bland mc, cliched “moe” art (no other way to describe it, you’ll see what I mean), and rushed storytelling. Many of the jokes are at the main character’s expense, and the show feels a little too mean to him. With the torture he is put through on a daily basis, I’m surprised he’s still alive and willing to deal with this arbitrary misfortune. Now I’m fine if the jokes are at the main character’s expense, like Grand Blue, but they have to be good, and can’t just be the mc saying/doing ridiculous nonsensical stuff, involve people beating him up every episod…

---THIS REVIEW IS FULL OF SPOILERS---
---This is more of a rant than a review---
This anime is one you should enjoy by turning your brain off. At the time of writing this, it had been more than 5 years since I watched this anime, but I can still remember vague recollections of it. At the time, I quite enjoyed it, considering how young and pathetic I was. However, even then, I still questioned the MC's choices. Not the ones that are thrown smack dab in the middle of the damn screen, but the choices he makes to steer his life. And the life of others. I quite like the idea of being forced to do by the way of choices. It's a pretty neat concept. Like every other concepts. If done right. And this particular anime didn't do it right. The choices are all dumb and unremarkable, the comedy falls…

If you go into this show expecting dumb fun and your typical harem setting then I can absolutely recommend this show because it will nail those expectations. If you want something more than your typical school harem show then I think this show can still be intriguing to you because of the unique premise and ongoing problem that plagues the main character of this show.
The characters follow typical anime tropes and they're for the most part not very well developed which makes it harder to actually care about most of the girls in this show. The main character himself somehow receives the least character development out of almost every other character and doesn't really improve himself or try to learn any lesson that's trying to be taught to him. Besides some really stupid moments by the MC…

I binge- watched this is one sitting instead of studying for my Econ 101 exam. I know that I am very easy to make laugh and therefore am probably not a reliable reference for what's funny, but I still thought this was really funny. I will laugh at anything, but the first scene of the first episode, I had to watch three times before I was satisfied.
The plot is minimal. The conclusion is unsatisfactory. The characters are one dimensional. The progress is forced.
BUT, it made me laugh. :)
That is all I expected from the show and that's what it did. It's not a "good" show, but it sure is funny, so I was 100% content with having watched this instead of studying.

There's an interesting hook to My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering With My School Romantic Comedy: A god has bestowed (cursed, bestowed, tomayto, tomahto) Kanade Amakusa with choices. These choices show up as multiple choice-style—do option A or do option B—and one of the choices has to be completed. With a first episode that anchors the idea of choices that have rippling historical effects, the stage is set for an anime that has something to say, right?
Not quite.
Instead we get your average, seen-it-a-thousand-times harem. Our poor, oblivious, choice-laden protagonist swamped with girls about ready to burst with their secret love for him. This, somehow, despite the fact that his choices—required, impassable—lean towards the crude, embarrassing, degrading. In fact, his erratic…

I've reviewed this years back shortly it after it aired and praised it for what it is. And having rewatched it just yesterday and viewing it from a more "matured" set of eyes, the anime still holds up extremely well despite being 7 years old.
This is a chaotic show full of random, illogical humour. You cannot go in and expect a serious show. If you do, you'll definitely fail to see why many praise this show and appreciate its weird, unique humour. Imagine a galge/dating sim where your choices influences the story, the idea is put into motion and is the main driving force of the series, except the choices makes no sense.
The story premise is pretty generic, a high schooler with potential love interests and is a bit "dense" to notice their feelings. But he's not the sort that will annoy…

I originally watched the anime adaptation of Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gauken Love Comedy wo Zenryuko de Jama Shiteiru (I'll refer to it as Noucome) in early-mid 2013 when it was first released. I was in middle school and had bad experiences at the time, so the comedic nature and romantic themes of the show pulled me in and had me embarrassed, laughing, and tied to the characters all at the same time.
Going back to the show nearly 8 years later as a fully grown adult, I found myself reliving those same feelings of embarrassment, huge laughing fits, and connections to the characters I had all those years ago.
While I have to admit the ending was a little bit annoying and some character development plot points were left kind of stagnant, that's just to be expected of a romantic comedy m…

This anime is about our hero, Kanade Amakusa, who is forced into a series of usually polar choices by an unknown cruel God and is forced to deal with them the best he can.
Plot: 5/10
It's pretty much a turn your brain off kind of enjoyable romp. Kanade has to deal with a curse that forces him into choices that are usually disastrous for his social standing, occasionally beneficial in some sort of cursed way, and always have to come true. Several girls around him are attracted to him for reasons sometimes understandable, sometimes because this is a harem anime.
Characters: 6/10
Kanade- your usual somewhat clueless, kind, doing the best he can given the circumstances MC with the added spice of he has to overcome dumb obstacles.
Chocolat- literally comes falling from the sky dumb as a sack…

NouCome is probably one of the most innovative harem anime I've seen so far.
Why do I say this? Well, it's quite simple. Most harem anime seem to be similar in story line because they know that their target audience would probably care more about the girls and ecchi than a compelling story or whatever.
NouCome took an interesting approach by wrapping a story around the consequences of CHOICES. This is instantly evident by the first episode.
Where most harem anime would rely on accidents or sticky situations to initiate ecchi scenes, this anime straight up yells "CHOOSE!" and makes the MC directly enter that situation out of his own will. I can see how that was a relief for the writers. That being said, NouCome has just enough ecchi scenes to BARELY qualify as a ecchi genre anime IMO.
O…

Honestly, I didn’t mind this series, aside from some weird episodes that didn’t really belong. The characters we’re kind of enjoyable and I was able to enjoy most of what it had to offer.
Story – 7
I personally like this idea, but the problem is the execution. The idea that something in his mind makes him commit to two different choices is fun, but startling at times. Some of the requests that his mind makes are absolutely gross and made me feel a bit uncomfortable at times.
Art – 5
Basic, nothing ground breaking. Some fun character reactions and a few lewd scenes. This series has nothing to scream about in this department.
Sound – 3
During the writing of this review, I have completely blanked on the OP and ED. The OP and ED are forgettable and have nothing going for them. They are qui…

Life is all of choices. Every second of your life, you have to make a choice, sometimes subconsciously. People you meet will likely tell you to "make your own choices". However, what if you couldn't, and the choices you had to make would be rather questionable? We'll explore this question, as we enter the world of Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love Comedy wo Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru, which I will be referring it to as NouCome.
In NouCome, we follow a simple yet hilarious series of comedic events. With Kanade Amakusa, the protagonist having to face a rather embarrassing choice each episode, it creates laughter within the viewer. However, that is not all there is to it. If this anime only showcased him having to do something embarrassing, it would not have been a fun watch, with the…

I just had to crash into this damn mess didnt?
There is a certain phrase that people foolishly try to shield themselves with "Anime... trash" or a combination of those.
But saying that "This anime is trash" would be recognizing this massive amalgam of shitty trend, overused tropes and carbon copy characters.
And this is not an anime.
There is no plot connecting the tits that walk from one place to another sometimes trying to form some coherent dialogue.
This piece of rubbish can and should only ever be describbed as what it is. A checklist.
And as any shitty anime checklist ill start with the non existan plot.
*Supernatural phenomena that forces the MC to act in a different way
*Highschool.
*Absence of fathers
*Girls literally falling of the sky/appearing out of nowhere to violently suck…

Generic harem anime with some fun humor.
If harem animes are Happy meals then this one is a happy meal with a super cool toy inside. That toy is the silly humor that the main character gets into due to that "Absolute Choice". Its the only redeeming feature in this bland burger, but it is a pretty strong redeeming factor. Aside from that, we have standard nice guy protagonist #1598 and female characters who are a set of different anime girl tropes with not much underneath except pantsu. In the end, its funny but forgettable.
Harem Development Index: 3/10 From start to end, the harem just seems like a default setting with no reasoning behind it and zero progress with any of the girls by the end.
