Introduction
This show hits you with a mixed bag: the core concept of an exiled kid using "useless" magic to turn a forgotten village into a powerhouse is genuinely fun to watch. Sending him off to the middle of nowhere while keeping him technical family was a great setup, but the execution drops the ball on key character interactions that could have made the story way more satisfying.
Story
The progression of building up the territory holds your attention, and the main lead's absurdly broken production magic makes the development phase really entertaining. However, the conflict resolution leaves a lot to be desired. The villains never feel like a real threat, and the dynamic between the main character and his father falls completely flat.
Visuals
The visual presentation is decent enough…

Let me give you the fries ASAP.
This show is an 8 out 10 Story,
with a 9 out of 10 Direction,
a 10 out of 10 Voice Acting,
a 10 out of 10 Animation,
an 11 out of 10 Humor in terms of the Direction (the people behind knew what they were doing XD),
with catchy Opening and Ending songs that actually made me stay to jam to it XD.
The only thing I would critique is with regards to the wholeness of the show, there are some holes that could've been plugged to make it a complete 10 out of 10. Like maybe using some of the knowledge he has from when he was on earth, not merely utilizing the consciousness that he already has. Well, that consciousness is what makes him a prodigy. Maybe some elaboration or a splash of seriousness in some areas could have given it a 10 out of 10, but nonetheless, I h…

It was a good show, regardless of a minor points.
I've seen another one about developing and aiding a country with magic but this one was on a whole other scale, well not quite that big but still.
I even expected some other kind of development but it focused mainly on defenses of a country.
It was kind of ridiculous the lack of some materials to make some things but I guess that's how fantasy is at least on this adapted work.
It was adapted from a Light Novel afterall so there's not much to go by in visual terms.
Most characters had a sweet characterization towards the MC, aside from others there was those mermaid folk introduced but there wasn't much going on after.
I honestly would like to see more of this sweet characterization in a later season.

It's a pretty straightforward isekai power fantasy, with some cute characters. I'd say if your an isekai fan, youc an do a lot worse.
It mostly avoids some of the more egregious plot points a lot of isekai fall into, but not completely. Early on I was about ready to drop the show when it looked like slavery was going to be a big plot point(I'm too tired of that plotline), but it's mentioned once, and not really brought up/shown ever again. Then fanservice wise, it's mostly fine, except just one character that is dressed in a completely embarrassing way, and people just treat it as normal. They seem to hide their design a bit in the opening, so maybe they knew it was embarrassing.
The powers are cool, and some characters are interesting enough. I was interested enough, and would watch a s…

Every single aspect of this anime can be described with one word: bland. Look at a picture of any of the character in this anime and imagine what they might be like from having seen other anime, and you'll be 100% correct. The super excited naive happy go lucky child protagonist, the little girl with grey/white hair covering her eyes being shy and quiet, the big chested blonde being brash and sultry, etc. Generic kingdoms and noble domains, generic monsters, generic adventurers, generic villagers, generic plots. This is one of the most assembly-line series I've ever seen. If you asked Claude to write you a 12ep anime with an isekaied 10 year old protagonist who has a quirky obscure sort of magic that everyone looks down on but is secretly overpowered, this is what it would come up with.…

What do we have here? Very classic feel-good anime isekai slop with over-powered protag. Downsides are obvious and very classic too. Most aspects of this show (animation, story, worldbuilding etc etc) are average or bellow average and criminally underdeveloped with exception of Panamera´s chest. That is enormous...like fun you can have with it (I mean the anime obivously!), if you are able to enjoy the feel good atmosphere based on very likeable protag and good character chemistry.
Try first few episodes, its hit or miss. That uncomplicated it is, like the anime itself. If you feel good watching it you could and should forgive a lot. Like for example most of the characters being a joke, literally. Plus good portion of both plot and settings too. Unintentionally. And op + ed are so bad tha…

This one i liked, because it's a kid.
I'd hope there is no harem, hopefully it'll stick to the purple hair girl.
It has it's funny moments and I like how the mc, all he wants to do is live a peaceful lay back life and he keeps getting drag into other people's problems.
I'd hope the story line continues how it is, peaceful with no, dumb harems.
I don't know if there will be more season, I have looked up the manga but can't seem to find anymore volumes.
I'd which they creators could've waited to let the manga simmer before creating the anime. Now we will have to wait until it's finish. Unless it is and I just can't find the manga.

Okiraku Ryoushu (I'm not writing the whole title) is a great anime for those looking for a nice, feel-good palate cleanser type of show. It is a completely competent, easygoing anime about city building and lighthearted humour.
The main plot of the show depicts Van, a 40-year-old man trapped in an 8-year-old's body in another world, as he tries to rebuild a poor, good-for-nothing village after being disowned by his family due to his "useless" magic. As we all know already from isekai, that useless magic is actually completely world-breaking. However, in contrast to this anime's peers, the magic (construction) isn't used for combat, but to build and improve the village in order for the MC to live a peaceful and easygoing life. And that's all the anime is about, really. Sure, there is a mag…

Late Review
I have been keeping up with the monthly releases of the Manga so I went ahead and finished the show.
Even for non-source material watchers, this is a slightly above average Isekai show.
The MC is intelligently kind embracing creative ways of getting by in the magical world.
As usual, breaking prejudices and bias even if his main abilities aren't meant for destruction by any means.
The nice addition centers around all of the other characters, they keep their original personalities while compliementing the MC
Optional to watch, yet can be worth it if you choose to do so

- A wholesome relaxing isekai that you will forget the very next day. Turn your brain off and watch, like you have always done for every isekai of the season.
- The start and middle parts of the series are actually good. Some decent comedy and lots of weirdo fun characters. The ending with the war/combat parts became a little too serious in tone and felt boring tbh. I was here for fun village building, not character growth bullshit.
- Some tropes were definitely annoying like our mentally 30+ year old MC blushing when talking to 10 year old girls and getting engaged to them. I was hoping MC would be a man of culture and go for older adult women instead.
This is not some fresh unique concept. Isekai is isekai. If you have watched one, you probably know whether you like the genre or not. T…

such an annoying cast of characters. he has this magic create-all gimick that is poorly used. i enjoyed the marrionette magic more than his production magic. he solves everything by creating but the audinece isnt shown how the village is dependant without him. there are no farms shown in the wide shots!!! they have no food!!! their entire city is made of this faux concrete solution!!! the distance from the inner wall to the outer wall is gigantic that it makes no sense that they ever meet there!!!! the magic system is poorly developed!! youre telling me that they think production magic is useless???????? we barely see any mages actually fight in the wars and its mainly soldiers in armour and swords!! i feel like production magic is crazy useful that the author had to give the viewer a bias…

What can I say about this anime? I’ve watched it twice, and I enjoyed it both times. But objectively speaking, it’s average. It’s not a bad anime at all — it’s just very similar to many other series in terms of animation quality, story, and characters.
I personally like this kind of isekai. It’s not violent, and it keeps things simple, both with its characters and with the world itself. The setting is very black-and-white: what is good stays good, and what is bad stays bad. There’s not much moral complexity.
This anime never really offended or disappointed me, but at the same time, it never truly amazed me either. In the end, it’s simply average.

I'm having a tough time saying more than 'if you liked Sweet Reincarnation and other similar shows you'll like this'. But here goes!
So the spin with this is that the kid gets exiled to a tiny, dying, village because he's got 'useless' production magic. If you hear this, combine it with Isekai and end up with 'he's going to create tanks and guns' you'd be mostly wrong. His defensive tactics aren't really based on modern power, but advanced medievil tactics (to oversimplify). The kid is pretty smart, but also earnest and other than his magic power he's not overpowered. He's smart and decent with a sword but that's clearly because of his education, not god-given talent.
The thing that sells this show is his team, they're all weirdo's and generally extremely capable. Even the adventurers st…

I just watched this as a mean for passing time. Well, to keep it simple: its not something new, but for those that enjoy stuff like this, it is good fun I guess (not mine, so I wouldn't know for sure).
Visuals. You could say that the art style is decent, or even good. Again, not my style, but the designs looked decent enough, and "cute" enough. The landscapes were ok, the spells looked ok. Oh, maybe I should also say that, at certain times, everything looked even weirdly good, like tiny moments of showing off (of the art prowess, sure, but I was mainly talking about the cast on screen). Like muscles and such. But also the ladies don't look extra sexy (like they don't need it for this anime), not even while wearing a swimsuit, and thats a weirdly amazing feat I'd say! Same applies in regar…

this doesn't stand out in the isekai genre but an anime has to stand out to be enjoyable.
this anime is nothing new in the isekai genre, it's a typical cut and paste.
the ending and opening songs were great and they were a fun addition. normally when isekai's bring in a arranged marriage scenario i dislike it and decide to drop the anime but with this i kept on watching because not only did i not mind, i liked the girl in the arranged marriage, her character develop was interesting and it was cool to see how she changed for the better after meeting the mc.
the magic system in this felt a little undeveloped, the mc's magic was shown and so was the love interest but other types of magic did not feel like they had enough expansion.

Reincarnated (kinda?) into another world and getting the production skill/magic which is seen as useless and getting kicked out of the part-... I mean family and exiled to be lord over a small remote village, but they don't know the MC can actually create anything instantly with the right materials (even with the wrong materials...).
Story started pretty good, with good pacing and exposure, but alas, it suffered the ol' mighty fate of slop adaptations and started to get worse and worse from like episode 5-6, to the point where at the end, where really important stuff happens, it just started to not make sense at all and be really dumb. For the last few episodes, I really just kinda wanted them to pass and finish them already. People were commenting a bit about what stuff has been cut out,…

I write this review just for adding the amount of people who recommend! I gave it 8/10 in the middle of the show, and when I finished it it still the same.
If you like a slow life isekai anime with cute wholesome story, this is for you! And more importantly, no harem (at least as far as I read the manga). It's the type of show you can watch on TV with family without worrying anything. They also add a few scenes from what I read on manga (idk if it's original or they have it in light novel).
It's not your typical overpower MC. He's a non combat character who get kicked from his own house because he doesn't have great magic for war. Unlike other zero to hero bullsht, this anime slowly shows you things MC build in his village, slowly gives spotlight to MC. Even the king also can't believe MC…

TLDR: If you care about comedy, characters, worldbuilding, magic systems, political or character drama, animation, character design, sound design, directing, pacing, or any form of quality, this is not the anime for you. If you like watching cardboard standees have generic events happen at them and be resolved in even more generic ways, then I have found PERFECT anime for you!
While usually I'd forego expecting anything out of generic isekai slop like this, this show was so exceptionally offensive to the very idea of Story that it ends up far more aggravatingly bad than most other generic slop. I do not expect anime of this nature to do better than the basics, because it itself is about as basic as you can get. Still, I've never seen a show nearly as uninterested in its own plot and ideas…

Like many stories, the first few episodes are exciting and promising. But then a pattern emerges, and the story veers into the ridiculous.
I think the biggest problem with the audience is that it's targeting the wrong demographic. This anime really belongs in the children's section and has no place among teenagers and young adults. It would have been better to completely omit the five-minute prequel with "I come from another world and have been reborn"—it plays virtually no role in the later plot.
Our protagonist is an eight-year-old "genius"—though that only applies to his creation magic. In all other aspects, he's not very convincing. The fact that this anime is aimed at school children is evident in various things, such as the regular lessons—true to the motto "learn so you can become…

I have watched so many isekai and fantasy anime at this point, that it's incredibly difficult not to compare newer shows with those that aired in seasons or years prior.
In the case of "Easygoing Territory Defense", I would say that this show brings back memories of the decent "Reincarnated Aristocrat [...] Appraisal Skill", and the god-awfully bad "Noble on the Brink of Ruin".
Although the premises are different between this show and "Reincarnated Aristocrat", the plot is very similar in how it ends up playing out; the MC ends up with a bunch of skilled people following him, while he rises in power and is loved by his people, while creating his own town/nation.
As for "Noble [...] Ruin", which is one of the worst shows I've watched in the last ~15 years I've been watching anime, I must…
