Please Twins!

Introduction

Maiku Kamishiro's past has always been somewhat of a mystery to him. The only clue he has to who his family might be is an old photograph showing two young children, a boy and a girl, playing in a small pool outside of a blue house. In an attempt to find his family, he moves to this blue house and begins working as a programmer. He's living a comfortable life until the day two very different girls show up at his door, both in possession of the same photograph, and both claiming to be his twin. With no way to prove who is a relative and who is a stranger, Maiku allows both girls to move in with him until they know for sure. (Source: ANN)

Guys, has this ever happened to you? You're a high-school student who also has a job as a programmer, barely making it by. All of a sudden, two girls show up at your door, each claiming that they may or may not be your long lost twin sibling. All because of one singular photo that they somehow share with you. And they now live with you, getting you into all sorts of shenanigans (like believing at one point you're gay because your poker face is just that good) while they eventually fall for your protagonist charms. And did I mention one of them might be your twin sister? Don't you just hate it when that happens? Premise aside, I feel like it suffers from a weaker story compared to Please Teacher! before it. The main romantic leads don't click with me the same way Mizuho and Kei did. While…

Please Twins is an anime about an orphan boy Mike who moves back into his childhood house. All he has from his past with him is a photo of a little boy and girl. One day a girl Mina with the same blue eyes as him, and the same photo as him, shows up claiming to be his twin sister. But then another girl Karen also with the same blue eyes and photo shows up also claiming to be his twin sister. So which one is actually the girl in the photo? Could one of these girls be an imposter? And does it even matter? These 3 form a family despite the fact that one may actually be a stranger. But not only that there might be a possible romance forming between them. The characters are likeable and funny. The story is kinda endearing. It has a bit of ecchi tits to keep you engaged 👍 Its very simila…

There's a harem, there's ecchi then there is trash like this with these sorts of anime. We have poorly thought out characters in a poorly thought out plot, leading to the same sort of embarrassing scenarios, designed for people who like this stupidness in hope of twincest and poorly animated nudity. When two people you never met, turn up at your house, you don't just let them live with you, cover their bills, especially when your someone who has always kept people away at arms distance, avoided contact when you can, and or when having hotter friends, suddenly feel oh yeah i am living with two girls, let's think of them as sex objects., The same in the repeated scenarios from the girls, turn up out of nowhere but easily find the guy even among houses that look similar, plonk themselves i…

I finally finished this anime. It took a few months to do so, due to the fact I kept losing interest in it because of how slow paced it was, but I've finally done it. Let's get into it. Story: (5) The story itself is kind of interesting because we're trying to figure out who is related to who. The problem is, it takes way too long to go anywhere. Alot of the episodes feel like they don't 100% focus on the plot. Was there literally no possible way to figure out if they we're all related or not? DNA test maybe? No, it didn't cross their minds or it was, "Too Expensive". I did like the way it ended though, it had a nice twist but it took way too long to get interesting. Art/Animation (6) There's not much I can say about the art and animation besides the fact that it's definitely dated…

Introduction: I enjoyed, and thought that it was creative to have a story centered around a search for a sibling. All three main characters were searching for something more in there lives and it is beautiful how it all plays out. Story: Three orphans looking for more belonging and acceptance in life have a faithful meeting. Two girls and a boy, one girls a stranger while the other is Maiku's ( said Mike in English) sister. the fun in this anime for me was trying to figure out which girl was his sister and see all the misunderstandings , funny, silly, and heart warming interactions between the three main characters. I thought the anime did a great job on how they showed the mixed emotions the three had for each other and how it is all resolved is heart warming. A romance, and slice of lif…

This was so much more than I expected. A harem romance/comedy from 2003 – virtually unheard of to my ear and rarely spoken about on random anime recommendation threads. I was jarred at first by the artstyle – which I found aged, although not without its own charm. However, by the end of the first episode, it had stopped being an issue for me and I was able to enjoy it for what it was. The series focusing on Maiku and two potential sisters, Karen and Miina and I found myself falling in love with the three of them. The characters had depth, struggles and were impacted by their past – something they were striving to move past and grow from. Outside the main trio – the supporting characters were reasonably bland. We had the teacher who at least initially acted like a potential love interest…

Every person has a guilty pleasure of some kind. I am no exception at all. I rented Final Destination 3 and grew up loving that over a decade later(Mary Elizabeth Winstead was in that movie btw.).I loved watching Ghost Ship.and I love love love Suckerpunch. All three are CONSIDERED crap movies but i love them sooo much.In terms of anime, some of my favorite shows were, Ikkitousen(Seasons 2-4), Maken ki, and even EIKEN(I'M NOT JOKING).I think it's because I go into these movies and shows knowing it's not going to good and I don't expect it to be, I just wanted a certain thing expected from these shows and i'm satisfied. But with this show, I think I loved it a bit too much.I don't know if I was drunk or high or whatever but I found this show strangely entertaining. This show is the sequel t…

For Onegai Sensei, there's a listlessness that Kei Kusanagi feels after the time he loses through his standstill. His friends left him; he is stuck. His everyday is broken through Mizuho, and through their fake marriage the two find belonging through each other. I think if we go to Mihkail Bakhtin’s idea of the Chronotope, we can find how space is manifest. Bakhtin’s Chronotope - roughly speaking - is about space and time are linked. Matt (RCAnime) has used the example of Penguindrum to show how space literally manifests time. Using that Chronotopic relationship, we can see a very similar relationship with Onegai Sensei. However, it’s a two-part relationship. The town in which they stand is a standstill, manifestation of Kei’s condition. However, the town is penetrated by Mizuho, whose o…

A complete and utter waste of time. Especially Love alliance was a pain in the ass. Almost had to quit in the middle. Certainly could have been made better. I think it can be watched with joy if you like sisters who sounds annoying and act like morons. If you must watch this series prepare to be 10y old once again, or be so drunk that you don't remember anything. And if you think that it must be good because Onegai teacher was, in that case you are wrong. Only good thing in the series was that there is only 12 episodes.

I haven't watched this for awhile, but here is my review. The story plot really wasn't that interesting to me since it's about incest and stuff. I'd recommend this if you are looking for old anime to watch since this is probably the oldest anime I've watched. For the art, it's an old anime. The art doesn't really matter to me, but the hair shading bothered me a bit so, I give it a 9. The sound really didn't matter. The voice acting for the dub didn't go well since I watched in sub. It really depends on your personal ways. The characters weren't really that good. Karen became annoying in the ova and I didn't like Miina that much. The enjoyment is one thing. I watched this because I happened to come across this anime. It kept me interested. Overall, the ending I didn't like much. Sinc…

it is really good anime, little old but still perfect romantic anime,it is not a sequel to Please Teacher but it is happening in the same place with few of the characters from that anime so you can look at it as sequel,All in all i really enjoyed it and was good and refreshing because animes today have romance and all but only few of them manage to make you feel like its real romance not some slow and low with plot show where you have to wait till the end of season for main characters so finally say i love you and kiss and that is it,in this show there is romance and kissing from very early on the show and it was perfect by my standards.I really wished for more seasons but that is just me,The show ended perfectly with happy ending

Warning this review may contain spoilers. First impressions, so after I had finished watching please teacher. I had found out that it had a sequel/spinoff called please twins. So at the time is was some what intrigued to check it out to see if it was as good as please teacher or at least watchable by rom-com standards and for the most part it was. Story, 5/10 so like it pequel please teacher please twins main focus is another taboo relationship because last time we had the teacher now so let's now go with twins. So the set up for please twins starts out like most school life rom-com you know school life and what not. The story is about Main protagonist named maiku or mike in the dub who is an orphan and the only hint of his actual family is a photo of him as child with another person.…

This anime started good at first, but then the story started to revolve around childish things such as not letting a man have his space, testing him to see whether he was gay when he is trying to do his work, creating fake applications and saying you're 18 to get a job(illegal), and misunderstandings after misunderstandings after EVEN MORE misunderstandings. This anime is seriously revolved around misunderstandings. Mind you, all anime have misunderstandings in them, and they are annoying from time to time and I for one don't like them. But to say this anime has misunderstandings in it is an understatement. "Girl's falling down on a chair and you grab her to keep her from falling" : Calls you a pervert. "You spill a hot drink on your pants and for some reason go outside of your tent to unz…

Ah, the ugly child of Please Teacher. People give it crap because it doesn’t base itself off the main characters of Please Teacher but a separate story all together with characters from the main series showing up every once in a while. The show is about two twins trying to find each other and one person that is a stranger to them. All three children were drawn together by a picture of two children near a house – one a boy and the other is a girl. The only identifying feature of the two children is their beautiful deep blue eyes. Unfortunately, all three of them have that same unusual color and are drawn to the house when they see it on the news after an ‘alien UFO sighting’ that happened during Please Teacher. As the three live together, they feel romantic to the others but are pledged wi…

Please twins wasnt one of my favorite animes ever, nor would it crack the top 10, or 25 for that matter. The problem with this is that the story which had great possibilties at the start really just suffers from redundancy, and the fact that anyone who watches is probably more interested in the "please teacher" cast more than the one cooked up for this show. So yeah the story, 3 orphaned children who happen to believe that they have the same mom, oh and that they are twins... so at this point anyone who can do math can figure out what the problem facing the cast is going to be, the twins and the awkward 3rd wheel. Maiku(michael/mike) is one of the twins and is the one that the two girls move in with and they spend the entire season trying to figure out who the twin is, even though they a…

No where near good as onegai teacher. The characters were pretty bad in this one besides maybe the main character. Its like throughout the anime they were adding random stuff to further the plot and the characters keep repeating themselves. After awhile I found myself just watching for the crossovers from onegai teacher cause the main plot is really boring. It would have been ok but they messed it up somehow. Also the girls are bad looking compared to onegai teacher. I would suggest watching it just for the glimpses of the sequel from onegai teacher.

Warning: Please Twins is a direct spin off of Please Teacher. Some events in Please Teacher are mentioned in Please Twins. If plan to watch this show or read this review watch Please Teacher followed by Please Twins. Note: for the sake of time and since I’m using MS word for this review I will refer to Maiku Kamishiro (the male lead) as Mike, since he referred to that name in the series many times. Also there is synopsis; sorry I really tried to write the review without it. Story- This story takes place in the quiet town as before only the focus is only a different kind of romance. The male lead name is Mike Kamishiro, a boy whose mother abandoned him and was sent to an orphanage. The only clue to his past was a picture of him and girl who is supposedly is sister in a pool with a blue h…

Upon finishing "Onegai Twins", I wanted to laugh like a madman, and jump up and down in sheer joy... because finally, there were no more of this sh*tty show to watch! "Onegai Twins" is about a highschool student Maiku, who has the misfortune of having a couple of annoying girls show up at his door one day, both claiming to be his twin sister. Of course, the girls end up moving in with him, and you end up with the usual dipsh*t comedy of errors that we've all come to expect from harem comedies. In case you haven't guessed already, "Onegai Twins" is made by the same "geniuses" who brought us the "masterpiece" that is "Onegai Teacher". Unsurprisingly, they share a similar feel, but there are some differences to be found. "Onegai Twins" contains considerably more fanservice in the form of nu…

In the anime/manga world there are many, many stories like this one: One guy with a group of girls and he's forced to choose the one he likes most. Now, Onegai Twins had a different twist for which I give it credit for but unfortunately it was not enough to save this horrible anime. I found the story to be mundane, your everyday "Which girl do I like?!" story where there was no spark, no flame, nothing to hold it above any of the others I've seen like it. Simply put it was extremely boring. You can find another just like it if you watch Green Green or Ichigo 100%. If you don't want to be bored then I recommend you find something else to watch.

I didn't expect much from this series. I was really just looking for something to pass the time with as well as a decent anime. Well, my expectations were COMPLETLY wrong. I rushed throught it in three days (somthing I only do with VERY good animes) and was eager as to what would happen next. The story was great and the characters were real and I was able to relate to them. There are things to figure out and misteries about Karen, Mina, and Miku's past are uncovered. I'd say a good anime for mature people because it does contain some fan-service, but overall it was very good and one of my favorite animes of all time.
