Genuinely unbearable
I did not understand a single plot point. The characters are uninspired and forgettable, the dialogue makes no sense, and there are weird unexplainable sounds playing constantly.
The women all have equal breast size which means the creator did not give the time or thought to the most important attribute to the show. The one male in the pilot that I assume is the love interest is a does butt fuck nothing, and the Gendo Ikari guy in the HQ just says straight gibberish. Ancient Aztec text is more readable then the official sub.
I'd rather receive straight teeth from a hippo then watch another second of this show. It has ruined the day ahead of me that I will wake up to since it is currently 2am.

Amazing!
This show is better than Attack on Titan, RE:Zero, Jojos, Code Geass, Violet Evergarden, One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach combined! When I first watched it I was appaled. Truly an inspiring anime for anybody who thinks they can try and write their own show. The art style could use some work, but the characters were very well rounded. In desperate situations the show gave grammy award winning performances to characters like Rin and the pilot dude. Animation was exclusively made by Vincent Chansard. The storyline is so well thought out and has greater worldbuilding than Mushoku Tensei and Made In Abyss. 10/10, I cried when it was finished. I would have given it a 0 if it was an option. It tried to tell 100 different stories in 17 minutes of screen time, managing to tell none of em in the end. The only good thing about this 'anime' is that it ended (and maybe the random panty shot). 19 minutes of my life completly wasted (yes, it has an OP and ED as well).
I cannot believe that I have to write more to fit the minimum requirement for this attrocity. What else can be even said. I heard it was at least funny, but it barely got a few laughs out of me. Please do not watch this. Also. Maybe this could be salvageable if they did a Ghost stories approach for a dub.

Sometimes I find myself confused by the ratings people have given certain anime on here. This is not one of those times. Skelter Heaven's position as MAL's lowest rated anime is completely justified.
Skelter Heaven is a 19 minute OVA based on a visual novel, which is presumably better than this adaptation. This OVA is like what would happen if you described Evangelion to a mentally disabled and told them to recreate it. There isn't really much of a comprehensible 'story' but it's about giant CGI squids (who also don't appear to be able move for some reason) falling from the sky and a group of teenagers in mechs have to defeat them. There is a hint at some sort of romance between two of the pilots, and also an attempt at some sort of philosophical message at the end.

Went into this anime with very low expectations, as the score says, and was not surprised by how bad everyone is rating it. Firstly, this was only 19 minutes, so it was very short, and even during these 19 minutes, I spent a good minute or two just seeing the Earth. Definitely would not recommend this to people who are starting their anime journey, but to those who have already finished Mars of Destruction, I present a worthy rival for how bad an anime can be. Overall, the anime rating gets a major Flop/10 (2/10), and I definitely do not want to see anything like this again.

I can't even think of a quirky opening line for this. This is bullshit.
I went in knowing this had a 1.87 rating, and I came out unsure of why MAL doesn't have a "(0) Euthanize Me" rating. My retinas deserve a sincere, heartfelt, bow-on-the-floor-repeatedly apology for what I put them through. The art was okay--when they kept it 2D. Whatever they were trying to do with the mechas and the Great Value Blooper from Mario was genuinely nightmare fuel. Everything else? Garbage.
And how is this only PG-13? There's so much unnecessary fanservice, and it's not even good. One moment, you're trying to grasp how the organization works, and out of nowhere, you see something that makes you check what website you're on. And then, we're back to learning about mechas for two minutes before the main cast…

Must watch! Absolute masterpiece.
Unironically better animations than One Punch Man Season 3. The action scenes are fluid, impactful and surprisingly well-choreographed, especially for its time. You can clearly feel the care that went into every fight and mechanical movement. They even got Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney — and yes, his presence somehow just works and adds to the charm.
And damn, they perfected their CGI back in 2004. Instead of standing out negatively, the CGI blends extremely well with the 2D animation and enhances the scale of the mecha battles. What’s the third Evangelion Rebuild compared to this masterpiece? This show proves that good direction and passion matter far more than raw budget.

The Anime does a piss poor job at explaining literally anything. You're going to have a hard time trying to figure out what the plot for this is because it doesn't really explain it at all other than a news broadcaster saying a monster has appeared. I was wondering why it was one of the worst animes, I got my answer while watching, you understand zero what the episode wants to tell you, it wants to do something psychological like Evangelion but with poor ideas and means. The characters are incomprehensible, we understand that there is a kind of romance between two characters except that it is not going well at all, it is badly told and it wants to be tragic at the end but you have no emotions since the characters are not even introduced. And I will not even talk about the settings and the mechas. In short, a bad adaptation of a light novel which is probably not worth it.

I have been giving out too much high ratings recently as I usually only pick things I think I will like, and it kinda ruins my enjoyment of anime. Soooo I decided to watch something BAD.
Skelter+Heaven is said to be the worst anime ever made. It is a 20 minute straight-to-DVD OVA which picked up cult status because of its bad quality, and one of the worst things I have ever seen. Skelter+Heaven is made by the same studio who made Mars of Destruction, another terrible OVA full of mistakes which is not just as bad in my opinion, but is considered worse for some reason. Welcome to my 7th review apart of my shitty anime review series.: The infamous Skelter Heaven! This show has somehow garnered the lowest possible score on MAL (in terms of anime), so how in the hell could I possibly recommend it? Well, that's just it - it is *the* lowest rated anime, that's a huge selling point in and of itself.
Skelter Heaven is bad, there's no getting past that, but to be fair to it - it's a 20 minute OVA that doesn't exactly get much time to do itself any justice. So here we go:

If you only have 19 minutes and 56 left to live, watch this show (if you can even call it one), those 19:56 mintues will feel like an hour. The plot is as if you got a drunk guy who doesn't know what Evangelion is, gave them a plot summary, and asked them to recite it from memory. The animation switches from "bearable" to PS2 graphics, and the voice acting is sub-par at best. Truly a one-of-a-kind anime. The only reason I gave this a 2 and not a 1 is becuase I havent given anything else a 2 yet and I cant rate anything a 1 before rating something a 2.

Genuinely did not hate or dislike this anime, and I think it does not deserve to be the lowest-rated anime. Yes, it is objectively bad. The quality of the animation is poor, the story is rushed, the giant squid enemy just stands there and does nothing worthy of being posed as a threat, the mech tech is horrifically weak in more ways than one, most of the main characters randomly disappear before it's just the two that are romantically interested in the boy (they only focus on one of them though), there are plenty of weird moments, and it genuinely feels like there is nothing at stake. Before I watched you, I was a miserable wreck. My wife left me and took the kids after I was fired from my job as a telemarketer. I am so confused with the plot but you know, this isn’t the worst. Honestly I’m able to enjoy most Animes, good or bad. Also, the characters are pretty, The Art style is what you see in a few other Animes, The Mech designs don’t look too bad, and at least this Anime HAS a Plot. There is worse Animes and this doesn’t deserve a 1 star in my opinion. It’s actually pretty entertaining for me to watch. Also, the Girl’s outfits looked really well done if you know what I mean. Although the Plot is hard to understand, Maybe you can enjoy it if you’re bored.
