I will go over more technical things when it comes to this anime. First of all, the OST is quite well picked. Makes a mood, brings atmosphere. Well, I'd found myself laughing every episode just because of the musical choices... I haven't read the manga yet, but I suppose it might be less comical than anime. The animation has its charm to it. I won't go over the plot, but just the setup, even though it's predictable and cliche (your typical bl romance anime setup), I still find myself enjoying watching the anime and not getting bored in the middle. Characters are interesting, likeable, can be related in some ways. Some.
If, knowing the plot on some general level, you're stilling willing to give it a go, you might enjoy this anime, perhaps. It can be quite funny sometimes. I don't know abo…

My god. I don't think I've seen a worse anime in my life. Not for the reasons you'd expect, no. I don't care for the incest and pedophilia in this anime, that's just typical for BL at this point. What I'm talking about is the awful pacing, uninteresting characters, 2 frames per minute, poor writing, jokes that fall flat, and abundance of fan service scenes that come out of no where and are placed simply to have something to feed the bottom of the barrel fujoshis.
I would like to add that I myself am a bisexual man who occasionally watches media about men having relationships with other men, including anime at times. Would I call myself a big BL guy? No, not really, but I wanted to try to get more into it. I decided to give this anime a chance after hearing it be called a classic BL. Now,…

The first time the two main characters meet, the brown-haired boy is only eight years old while the older character (who very much acts like a groomer) is already sixteen. That’s an eight-year age gap introduced at a point when one of them is still a literal child. The story treats this dynamic as if it’s completely normal or even wholesome, which is honestly shocking. I’ve never encountered another anime that presents grooming in such a romanticized and positive light, and it left me deeply uncomfortable.
What frustrates me most is that the art style is genuinely good, but it feels completely wasted on a narrative like this. The show keeps trying to frame their relationship as sweet or touching, even though the underlying premise is inappropriate and disturbing.
If your idea of entertai…

If you want to watch an incestuous and pedophilic story about a full grown man grooming and constantly molesting an indefense and vulnerable child, this is the anime for you. Every single episode left me feeling extremely sorry for Ren. He was abandoned as a baby, then his adoptive parents died and now he lives with a pedophile who takes adventage of him constantly.
Besides Ren and his school friend (can't bother to remember his name), all of the characters suck. Ren is a fourteen year old child, and every adult around him watches as he is constantly molested by a twenty two year old adult. Everyone thinks it's cute and funny, and nobody does anything to protect him or take the situation seriously.
The anime tries to justify itself by showing how much Ren (a child) loves and cares for H…

"Super Lovers" definitely has its charm within its fictional world. It's a light-hearted watch for anyone who enjoys BL anime. While the plot can meander a bit, and the relationship between the twins remains a touch ambiguous at times, it's still an enjoyable ride. I found myself getting invested in the characters and their development, even if the overall story arc didn't have a super clear direction. If you're looking for something fluffy and sweet with a dash of mystery, then "Super Lovers" is worth checking out."
While the story itself isn't the most unique, with its tropes of childhood connections and forbidden love, it's still a fun watch. The light-hearted tone and comedic moments balance out the heavier themes of trauma and family dynamics. The art style is bright and cheerful, re…

the first and only time i watched this was when i was around 13, even then i knew that what was going on in this show was so messed up on so many levels.
im genuinely baffled by all the people who say its good, have we watched the same show? have you paid at least a bit of attention? there are so many things wrong with this anime that it makes me sick: paedophilia, incest and whatnot.
i cant even begin to describe how much i hate this. if youre thinking about watching this just dont, skip it and forget about it.

I was really skeptical watching this series coz of the poster I don’t really like kid and an adult relationship but because of some reason i gave it a try and i can say i don’t regret watching this show this is probably my best anime bl so far i enjoyed every episode usually i rewatch a series but only fast forwarding my fave moments but here in my super lovers every seconds is so worh it to rewatch i’ve been watching this show 10 times already still gives me butterflies
Ren is not the typical 16 year old boy it’s like his body is teen but his mind and the way he speaks and react are like of an adult he really reminds me of killua thats why i fell inlove with him
I recommend this show trust me it’s so good

Super Lovers was certainly an interesting watch, not something I would usually choose because I don't watch a lot of BL anime. I started it because I really like shonen voiced by women and it featured 2 of my favourite voice actors.
First, the plot is definitely quite interesting though some parts felt a little out of place. The pacing didn't feel off, nothing feels too stagnant. It's kind of like a slice of life with BL elements sprinkled in.
The BL element to all this is perhaps the most controversial part of this anime. Though Ren and Haru's relationship would certainly be uncomfortable and discouraged in real life, I found it interesting to delve into it in a fictional setting.
Though it may not be intentional, I found it interesting the more subtle ways their relationship could b…

okay, the story may have had potential if the relashionship wasn't so messed up. THIS EVERYONE IS WHAT WE CALL GROOMING. you know, them being men is OKAY. them being adopted is meh but we've seen it before in other animes (mikasa and eren for example) . BUT THE AGE GAP? hell no. i legit wouldn't care if there's a 20 year age gap BUT AT LEAST MAKE IT LEGAL. the fact that ren is still underage is uncomfy. if he was 18 it would've been the least bit better. Haru acting ummm pedophilic and no one finding it weird or questioning it is the weirdest part. IMGINE UR 16 IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, and your adopted brother who's 24 years old pulls up, presses u against a wall and kisses u on the lips in public shamelessly....and the way they made it seem like the female cafe visitors were "fangirling" over ha…

Weird, creepy, and very strange. Those are my thoughts in a few words. Its sad really.
The characters themselves aren't so bad, other than being the classic overdramatic, attempting to set up a dynamic anime 'couple'. This anime would be a lot better if it were a brother-brother dynamic, because that setup was what i was expecting, but for some reason the author just decided to fuck up what could have been a good anime. The animation is pretty average but decent enough, and the voice acting was also good. This really could have gone far.
The story is pretty bad, from something that looked to be a brotherly story turning into some incest-ish illegal minor-adult love relationship. The main character is a child who is in love with his brother, and his brother, is in love with him. HUH? WH…

Listen, I am as conflicted as you are.
Is it good? I don't know, you tell me.
Is it bad? I don't think so?
Is this incest? I mean, I think no buy lowkey yes?
Is this fucking pedophilia?!?!!?! YES BUT NO!
I feel very conflicted and I feel even more conflicted because this was so good, oh my god kill me but listen up, listen. When I first watch this shit I was just getting into yaoi and anime. I had just watch two animes which were Junjou Romantica and Hitorijime My Hero and I wanted more, so I looked online for some good Yaoi recommendations and this fuckery appeared. It look sus, it look weird, and there was a little child and a whole grown ass man in the cover but I though "I am blind and I do not see anything wrong"
For my surprise, all the chapters were on facebook and then my tri…

HOW OLD is that boy!!!?? WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS???
I kept screaming as I watched all ten episodes of this molestation shit way back 2017.
On a review streak lately and I just had to come write one on this anime cause I can't even comprehend, not even a little why the score for this is high as it is.
I like a lot of Gay stuff(besides most yaoi). Shoujo-ai is my second favorite genre, an escape when I watch too much straight people bullshit, like wise shounen-ai. So back in 2017 I wanted to try something different & I stumbled upon this and Antique bakery, I watched the latter first and loved it so much. Then I started Super lovers, yikes! I remember shutting myself under my bed cover and screaming under the pillows how so sick this was.
Plot:1/The story is so fucking pathetic, like pat…

The show is awesome.
This show is outstanding and fantastic and mind blowing.
Every little detail shown in the show is great.
I really enjoyed this show.
This show breaks the chains of old orthodox society and really such shows should be made so that people can truly understand themselves and what they want.
The teens shown looks like minor characters but the task the do is that of main characters sometimes and the way they perform on screen is awesome.
Haru our hero and Ren the second protagonist of our story are in the world of their own an di truly enjoy watching them.
It feels like I am there in the scenes and am seeing with my own eyes and experiencing the exact things that are happening on the screen.
The entry of Haruko the mother was really great and funny.
This is among the few sh…

This whole show is SO WEIRD. The problem is, it would work SO PERFECTLY if it didn't have the romance. If this was just a sweet show of an older brother getting his younger brother to get out more and open up to him, it would've been so cute. Heck, the older brother could still be gay but maybe date another adult. Instead, he decides to date his younger brother. The one who he helped raise when the kid was 8. The kid (uke) is now in middle school, and the seme is a goddamn full-grown man (maybe in his 20s?).
It's basically grooming with a cutesy family theme. Seriously, there wasn't even enough romance in it for it to be constituted as romance. If they removed those kiss scenes and just kept everything else, it would've been a very heart-warming family anime.

Okay, guys listen up.
I started this anime without knowing the plot. I finished it just out of curiosity.
I am not gonna lie, I'm really into BL stuff but when it comes to the relationship status of the main "couple" its very weird. I was questioning myself if it is okay to watch such things. If there wasn't the age difference and their "family' relationship it would be fine I guess.
I was really enjoying the ship between the main characters but I kept reminding my self those disturbing details and I just couldn't bear it. I can't deal with the fact that Haru is actually a pedo, I really can't.
I gave it a 5/10 because I am confused.

One Word : Fantastic!
I've seen many yaoi anime ; they're all good but for Super Lovers, I feel something new. I like how the story isn't too rushed and just play swiftly. Haru and Ren didn't instantly fall in love to each other and even as Ren grew up as a teenager, their feeling is still ambiguous ; either it's platonic or romantic.
THE MORE FORBIDDEN THE RELATIONSHIP IS, THE BETTER.
This yaoi anime may prove too taboo for some. It illustrates a "more-than-family" relationship between Haru and his younger adopted brother, Ren. It begins as an innocent quest to bond as brothers and to accept each other as family, but with Haru's doting ways and Ren's attachment, the bond between them begins to skew.
Ren is desperately trying to understand what he means to Haru, and more importantly,…

Never really thought i would write a review for this godforsaken series. But boredom has got to me. Also, as i have watched super lovers a good 2+ years ago my memory may be a little murky.
Super lovers is what you'd call a shounen-ai, a genre that has very pedophilic roots.
In super lovers we get to see a grown ass man groom his little brother while everybody watches and doesn't say shit. I think what i find most disgusting is that everybody in that series knows it's wrong but doesn't do anything to help ren get away from his disgusting older brother.
Now the other thing that's so utterly strange about super lovers is the entertainment, yes all the characters were dogshit, if not worse that that. But I somehow managed to blast through those episodes so quickly, it's kinda shocking.…

When I initially saw this anime I naively thought it would be like Barakamon, cute story and generally loveable characters. Despite the bright cover art, this is as far as you can possibly get from it.. The show's premise is of a 20 something year old man (Haru), pursuing a relationship with a 15 year old(Ren)... And some how that's supposed to be cute, or acceptable, and nobody should question the status quo about this very problematic relationship.
In real life and in anime I have no problem with age gaps as long as it's between consenting adults. But the problem here is that Ren is a minor, an abused minor, and there in lies the problems with the relationship with Haru and effectively the series as a whole, because without the romance there's not much plot here. This BL anime like othe…

Super Lovers 1 and 2 or “The glorification of pedophilia”.
Two seasons of this dreadful anime and I watched them both in full trying to believe what I was seeing.
We have a super intelligent male teenager - Ren - placed under guardianship in a family of young men. The boy had been abandoned, mistreated and deeply traumatized as young child before he came into the care of a Canadian female scientist living in the woods. For reasons that escape me, this child does not get counseling or professional psychological help learning to deal with this early trauma, but what do I know?
Through circumstance, Ren is later adopted into a Japanese family consisting of Haru - the oldest brother, a 24-year-old man and the son of the Canadian scientist - and his male twin half-brothers in their late tee…

*Slight spoilers*
TL;DR --- this anime can be enjoyable for some, but if you're not a fan of the shounen ai genre or if you're not okay with incest or pedophilia, don't watch.
This anime made me super uncomfortable. Call me a hater, but I don't support pedophilia- nor do I support incest. I just felt like Haru was taking advantage of Ren's innocence.
Story- 6/10
The only reason the story was a 6/10 for me is because its creative in it's own way. It's a bit of a complex plot when it comes to their family... sooo it's a 6 for me. Art- 6/10
The art is also a 6/10 because there wasn't anything special about the art style of this anime. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't outstanding or unique- like Violet Evergarden or Devilman Crybaby.
Sound- 7/10
I did enjoy the opening and ending. It was cat…
