Great time if you want to relax and turn your brain off. This is a mid anime with predictable plot points and an OP character, which makes it amazing

By all means generic. But if you are stressed from work and want something running in the background, this is great.
Again, the plot points are predictable and unfinished, but this isn't bad for someone who is already burned out and just want quick dopamine hits. Not ashamed to say that at all😏
Also note that I spoiled myself all the way through to the end of the LN/manga which backs up my "predictable plot points" claim plus those generic "surprise".

Honestly this anime is confusing. Sometimes it feels like a comedy or parody. Other times it's serious. The main character is all over the place from nitwit to dimwit to highly observant. He one shots a S rank dragon and runs from and gets manhandled by orcs.
It's like the show can't make up it's mind stay consistent. It's sad because the characters are likeable. There are still some fun times to be had though.
The show needs to make up it's mind and stay consistent. If it's a comedy in the form of a parody then it should stay that way. I liked the art style. I still enjoyed the series even though it wasn't consistent in it's implementation of Al's behavior and the over all theme.

I think I would have fucking LOVED this show in middle school (non-derogatory). The random cursing, the chaotic energy, the earnest story--this show has just enough unique elements that makes it worth the watch, even if it isn't going to be on any "top anime" lists. Sometimes you just want to have fun! The English dub is actually really funny, and often lampshades some of the sillier elements. The animation isn't the best, but it is far from the worst I've seen recently. I also really appreciate how both the MC and the story itself respects the female characters! Weirdly, I would put this show in the same box as "Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon". Doesn't take itself super seriously, but still sees the story its telling as worthwhile. Welcome to a world where we have to remind the audience every five seconds that everything is a fantasy world. The show acts like the viewers are brain-dead goldfish that need to be constantly told, “This isn’t Earth, this is a fantasy world, guys!” Every single line of dialogue has that energy. “Oh, this isn’t a tomato, it’s a tomatta!” Wow, thank you for that stunning worldbuilding detail, I never would have known. To start with, I am confused. It feels like they threw every cliché to the wall, took the pieces that didn't stick to the wall, and glued back those pieces back to the wall, but none of the pieces didn't stick to begin with. It's so bad it's funny. Normally I give 6-7 to isekais that have good or funny character interactions; I am not too focused on the story. But the only thing I could think of while watching this anime was, I wonder how they will make a bad cliché again.
To give credit, heroines are pretty standard; they are not bad, just okay. There is one character I really liked in this anime, and that character is MC's mom. She is so funny; she is probably my 2nd favorite isekai character, and there are some funny moments, although it's pretty rare.

This belongs to my "Minecraft let's play video" category – an anime you can watch in the PiP mode while doing something else and not really miss out on anything that happens in the show.
It's a regular Isekai, with all the standard Isekai attributes and plot twists. There are girls... They're really annoying. Well, that's classic. The hero is an Iron Man outside, but a pussy inside – that's also classic. The art is nice, the same goes for voice acting. The soundtrack – well, there IS a soundtrack... Ok? Given that the overall budget for this series was 2 bowls of rice and a couple of Asahi beer cans – it's not that bad.
Anyway, just watch it in the PiP mode.

This is the worst garbage I have ever seen in my entire fucking life. Most of the time when I see an anime with low rating on MAL, it turns out that it's severely underrated. This is one of the rare instances where it's severely OVERRATED, despite how low the score seems to be. I would only recommend watching this if you feel like you're too smart and need to get a lot dumber for some reason, because each episode cost me half of my current braincells, and I forced myself to watch all 12, because silly me thought that it will maybe get better later on (spoiler alert: it won't).

This anime doesn't really bring anything new to the table, it brings *everything* to the table. This anime is a parody that lays down trope after trope while cramming entire arcs into each episode behind super cheesy lines. Nearly everything that happens is an overexaggerated play on things that happen in other fantasy anime.
I think the biggest issue with the anime is that this does not seem to be what it was well marketed as. However, getting upset at this anime for not taking itself seriously is like shunning Scary Movie for being a bad true horror movie. This anime isn't here to develop a serious story. It's here for people who want something light hearted to watch while laughing at stupid fantasy tropes, and it does that very well.

If you were hoping for an isekai/fantasy like anime about farming, you'll be disappointed. There is very little actual farming in this anime. The title is pretty misleading, as this anime is basically -- like the other reviews have stated -- a generic fantasy vanilla harem anime. The MC is overpowered without trying, every girl he meets falls in love with him after he saves them / is the first person to be nice to them, one shots monsters that are supposedly devastating, etc etc. I was hoping for all this with some FARMING, but sadly, there is little to no actual farming.

I'll keep it simple: good art, trash anime. I rated it a 4 and had to force myself to finish it. And I'm not some isekai hater - I love isekai. This is just a bad one. It has really great character designs but that's about all it has going for it. Episode 9 is also a bit of a tear jerker, so if you enjoy that you might like that episode at least.
The story's quite bad, and it's typical harem nonsense with no explanation - repeatedly. Chances are you'll be able to tell how bad the story is by the end of the first episode. It doesn't get better. The characters are all super forgetable too. I don't remember literally any of their names and I just finished watching it. And after I finish publishing this review I'll never think about this anime again.

I never write reviews. But given all the hate this anime received I decided to give my opinion, and a slightly higher score than I would have normally given (between 6 and 7), and gave it an 8.
The show is a light hearted fantasy parody. It is an enjoyable watch if you want something easy going and somewhat fun to watch. The story is actually quite interesting. The character is well-rounded, dedicated, and kind hearted. He is OP but there is actually a plot related motive for it. Which is not only being an overtrained farmer. The acute spectator will understand the reason in the last episode.
So, if you are looking for a relaxing watch, and enjoy fantasy and parody genres, don’t read the negative comments and just give it a shot.

I will not recommend this series to anyone, it's a must not watch from my side. The plot isn't good and it doesn't support it as well, it degrades the show and the characters aren't any special/interesting. The art style and animation is OK nothing special, the CGI is the worst. Didn't enjoy this one bit and when things started getting interesting it felt out due to poor execution. The ending was also not good, this series could have been better if it was correctly executed. This was the worst fantasy anime series of this year for me.

This show is the epitome of false marketing, and not in the most satisfying way. Legit, I was hoping that in the sea of genericness and mediocrity, would a show like this come to be something fresh, but it ended up being one of (if not) the most disappointing shows of the season.
