Welp, another adventure anime 😂 It kinda feels like Ive seen this same ingredient used in a bunch of other isekai and fantasy shows. The MC gets a special ability, goes on an adventure, meets new characters, and slowly becomes more powerful. Nothing really blew me away or made me think, “Okay, this is something completely different.”
The one thing that at least makes it stand out a little is the whole fruit concept. Basically, their powers come from eating these skill fruits, which is actually a pretty fun idea. I was curious to see what kind of abilities they would get and how the fruits would affect the characters.
But even with that, I wouldnt say theres anything super special about it. Its more like a familiar recipe with one new ingredient 😂 Still, I cant complain too much because…

Stupid self-limiting plot any% speedrun. It was terrible before the end of episode 1.
The animation is horrible.
The pacing is worse than I’ve ever experienced. It’s laughably bad. The dialogue, the animation, the “plot” — it’s as if it’s literally been slowed down to extend it to 12 episodes.
Just don’t waste your time. I started leaving it on in the background, hopping in and out, but shouldn’t have even gone that far.
I may have disliked other things more, been more frustrated, or disappointed by shows that are higher quality, better paced, and better written. Yet after watching this I feel nothing. It’s truly the worst show I’ve ever seen.

At first, I was going to give this show a mid-score of 6/10, but the last 4 episodes made me drop it to a 4/10. Why? Because the last 4 episodes focused on her—she's not even interesting enough to focus on. This show is about the MC getting unlimited powers, yet he barely got any interesting powers. Those 4 episodes should have given him more powers and fight scenes. 4 episode about that boring blond girl what a waste .i think this anime is 2/10 at best . skipped 4 episodes and im 100% sure the story will not change at all
The story needs more development. As it is, the chase and the buildup for the MC feel rather rushed.

Another mediocre isekai to add to the list, with nothing particularly memorable about it. The plot feels cheap, the characters lack charisma, and everything unfolds in a predictable way. The protagonist unrealistically breaks the world’s rules, gaining power-ups without any real effort or justification.
That said, this is fairly typical of low-budget isekai series. Even so, most manage to offer at least one distinctive element, but this one fails to do even that. On top of it all, the animation is subpar and the events are dull and unengaging. It’s so boring that I had to watch it while doing chores just to stay awake.
To make matters worse, the series is unfinished, and it seems unlikely that it will receive a second season.

Well, I don't think there's much to say about this anime. It's entertaining and is your typical cliché isekai to pass the afternoon with. You can't expect it to be the best work ever
There's a strange handling of the protagonists who take turns. The protagonist gets a lot of help from the story, the main antagonist follows the archetype of this type of anime, the power scales are excessive, although the music is good, it has a medieval European setting, and the fights are fun. In the end, the message that the story is trying to convey is implied
Apparently, there could be a second season.

I honestly don't know why I wasted my time with this anime. I probably should have stopped as early as the first episode. Hazure Skill “Kinomi Master” is the purest example of a generic anime: generic protagonist, generic world, generic narrative and predictable conflicts. The biggest problem, however, is that all of this is done in an extremely lazy and boring way.
The protagonist simply can't sustain the work. He is passive, lacks charisma and has no clear motivation, which makes it almost impossible to create any kind of empathy. Even with a premise that could be minimally interesting, the script fails to exploit its potential and fails to give depth to the main character, who always seems to react to events rather than drive the story.
The plot suffers from clear inconsistencies. Arc…

I have no clue how this has such a low rating? I found it quite enjoyable. I'm not sure what others want in adventure fantasy show, but this hit all the right spots for me. The plot is pretty straight forward I want to be hero. The characters are enjoyable it took no time for me to connect with them. The fights where good without being to flashy. Its pacing was vary smooth not to slow or to fast. The main antagonist is interesting with alot of potential since we don't know know what she is after. Frankly it was way better than I thought it be. I gave it a 10 rating but that's just cause I hate that its rating is so low but I really do believe it's a soild 8 for me.

“Bogus Skill >: About That Time I Became Able to Eat Unlimited Numbers of Skill Fruits (That Kill You)”, (R-N-effing-Gesus what a title. I think it’s too short. Come on, I believe in You, You can shove at least 5 more sentences in there if You try) is what happens when You create a show without any sort of stakes happening in one of the dumbest, nonsensical worlds I have ever seen in any medium (That’s me being nice).
I have seen many shitty anime, but rarely have I seen something so pathetic in the writing department. The level of writing on display in this show is probably below high school. There is no logic whatsoever in this show. The level of soft in its soft power system is just a nanometer away from being a liquid. Yes, it’s that bad.
Before we start I would like to explain some…

I honestly believe The Fruit of Evolution is one of the most misunderstood anime on this site.
Most people seem to have dropped it after one or two episodes, assuming it’s just another “isekai parody” or “farming gag.” But if you actually stay with it, you’ll realize it’s far more than that.
This series has a surprisingly balanced pace — every battle, conversation, and emotional scene feels intentional. It never drags, but it never rushes either. The comedy (especially through little girl, Ayla) adds just enough lightness to keep it human, while the core of the story stays about growth, rejection, and self-acceptance.
Unlike most overpowered-MC anime, Seiichi’s power isn’t just a cheat — it’s a burden. He still has to fight, learn, and evolve through his choices. The show also reflects h…

Honestly pretty solid show. I am very impressed by the sheer fact that it is just a plain ass regular fantasy, no isekai shenanigans here. Furthermore, although the premise itself is a little lackluster, the exection is completly on point. I love the main villin, the holy sister, her development is very well executed and makes for a very thrilling mysterious antagonist. The supporting cast is also amazing, yes its somewhat harem adjacent, but its not bad by any means. The main character is pretty mid, light has not to much to offer other than being a relativly generic nice guy, unfortunately.
Pretty solid fantasy show, I recommend it, it should not be a 5.7 on mal that is a travesty

It's very inconsistent quality and start of extremely bad. But it has some episodes here and there worth of calling a "6/10" but at it's worst it's like "2/10" so on average a 4/10 seemed fair.
First I'll say the positive things:
-The Intro kind of slaps
-Lena is a W from the start, and kind of stays that way through the series.
-Occasionally there's good writing a like... hints of actual character depth mostly in episodes which include Lena be it a coincidence or not.
-There's decent character design
-The world building is fairly okay as well.
Alright on to all of the problems:
-Lazy (missed opportunity, you could have made it about the MC having to find a creative way to use his seemingly useless skill, instead he never actually uses it again apart from very early on and like 1 other ti…

I'm just going to keep this short and brief. Firstly, full disclosure: I like the isekai genre. I don't care if its cookie cutter, its one of those guilty pleasures I have; I want you to understand that much about me so that when I say this anime was a big disappointment and waste of time, you know how low my standards are.
I like the over powered trope, and Light, the protagonist falls into that category at first glance. Make no mistake, he has tons of potential to be extremely OP. But he doesn't. There isn't even a good justification for why he doesn't, he'll only acquire a new skill if he's in a bad situation. Why? There is few things more frustrating to me than watching someone who has the ability to do incredible things...not do them. It's like that "I need to hide my true power!" t…

Another day another MID-sekai
Out of all of the Isekai Generics this season, Hazure Skill is the worst one for me. To be blunt, I should of dropped the anime around the 5/6th episode but the rest were only tolerable on 2x speed.
Basically everything about this show screams MID, there's no point to cover the specifics since other users addressed them before me.
The one flaw I want to focus on is the power source of the OP...which basically points at the "fruit." As exclaimed in the first episode, people's powers are determined but eating magical fruits and it's like a lottery where you don't know what ability can come.
In short, the guy is overly reliant on eating "fruits" just to become strong. Just seeing him devour these magical fruits only to find a single useful ability sort of ruin…

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this anime. The animation leaves much to be desired, with scenes that feel rushed and poorly finished, which greatly detracts from the visual experience. The art style, while attempting to fit the story's tone, ends up feeling inconsistent and sometimes distracting, making it harder to stay immersed in the world the anime tries to build.
The plot lacks depth and originality, relying heavily on predictable tropes without adding anything new or interesting to the genre. Even as a fan of this type of setup, I found it hard to stay engaged. The pacing is painfully slow, with each episode dragging on endlessly, which makes it a struggle to stay invested from start to finish.
That said, this anime might still appeal to viewers who are deeply fond of the genre a…

"Bogus Skill >" was actually somewhat surprising, because despite appearing to be a very generic power-fantasy type anime, it kind of ended up not being that. "Kind of" being the operative words there though, make no mistake.
Unlike other Winter 2025 anime, such as "I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin", which, even for me, was bordering on unwatchable and was so bad I thought I'd end up with brain damage (yet somehow has a better MAL score), this show actually has a fairly cohesive plot.
Once a person comes of age, they are allowed to eat a skill fruit, which gives them, well, a skill. These skills can range from useless garbage to something busted OP. They can only ever eat one skill fruit tough, as eating more of them poisons and kills them. So once a skill is obtained, that's basically…

I fully believe this is a kids’ show—actually meant for ages 6-9 at best, not 13+. (I know the demographic listed on AniList isn’t always accurate, but overall, this was made for teenagers and up.) Honestly, if you just changed the outfits of the girls, adjusted one or two moments, and slapped a “for kids” tag on it, no one would question it.
Now, let’s talk about this… whatever it’s supposed to be.
Bogus Skill : About That Time I Became Able to Eat Unlimited Numbers of Skill Fruits (That Kill You)
The title alone is already a warning to just ignore this and move on. But for those who still want to believe in the whole “don’t judge a book by its cover or title” thing—this time, you should.
It’s a fantasy anime (not an isekai) where people gain superpowers at a certain age by eating a…

Finally. This sh***y anime has ended. I can post a review.
The visuals are low-tier, the animation horrible, de designs are bland or yuck. Some ok (or not terrible) VFX, at times. There are a few (1 digit) super nice frames, but I can't remember them or tell you where or why those scenes are special. The audio is meh, at times even annoying. The OP and ED will give you a feel for a totally different genre.
Now the truly bad stuff. The story is horrendous and the plot is stupid. The script is generic and/or bad. No char development for the MC and annoying as fk. I hated him from his first lines. I thought/hoped he was made that way to give him a development, something. It never happened. Just watch it for the first 10 min and you'll get it. The supporting cast is no better. Excepting 1-2 c…

This show is aggressively bad. Despite the show's name and premise, the MC, Light, refuses to use his OP skill for no reason leading to constant frustration, and it's only made worse when the show itself has characters treat Light as competent and intelligent while everything we see shows him to be an incompetent moron. Unlike most anime, where viewers often resent time spent on side-arcs not relevant to the main story and main character, Light is so incredibly annoying that when the entire second half of the show completely abandons him to focus on side characters, it is actually a noticeable improvement. Sadly the side story ends, which means if there is a second season we'll have to go back to hating Light as he continues to act like a moron for no reason.
Avoid this show.

An anime on the level of that Power Rangers knockoff I already forgot its name this season except the animation here isn't as bad. I skipped through most of the episodes. The naivety and cheesiness of the main character scare me. In most anime, the protagonist's stupidity is usually used in a fun way, like in I Parry Everything, but here, it doesn’t work as well. As for the humor, it's mediocre, and the side characters aren’t well-developed either. Nothing really happens in the story we’re just collecting Pokémon. For me, it's a 3/10. I rate lower only when an anime actually disgusts me.

Warning: The plot doesn't finish in this season! Yes, you read right, the anime finishes in the middle of the story.
This anime is simply too bad (too low-budget) to have a plot that doesn't finish in a single season. It should have been one of those anime that you turn your brain off before you watch, finish it in this season, and then will forever forget that you have watched it.
Animation: 3/10. They save all their budget for the fighting scenes, but they are still poor.
Characters: 3/10. The MC goes from a nobody to suddenly being OP with no effort, and then his character development stales there. The character development is the worst aspect of this anime.
Plot: 3/10. Superficial single-minded mini-bosses; almost no development of the main villain; and uninteresting side quests. Thi…
