The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest

The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest

Introduction

Throughout his youth, unskilled healer Laust was taken advantage of by unscrupulous adventurers. Despite intensive efforts to improve himself, Laust is swindled by the members of Blades of Lightning—the first party that he joins after completing his training—and is eventually banished by its leader Margulus. As the subject of public ridicule, Laust is not hopeful about his future prospects. However, novice adventurer Narsena unexpectedly offers to form a party with him, and he happily accepts. The duo quickly gain fame by conquering uncharted parts of the labyrinth. While there seems to be a reason behind Narsena's hasty proposal, Laust is oblivious to what it could be. Meanwhile, Margulus fails for the second time to slay a poisonous hydra, even after enlisting the help of elite healer Lyra for the quest. Laust soon finds himself being asked to rejoin Blades of Lightning, but it is not as easy as he imagined to move on from his former comrades-in-arms despite his new path and current companion. I like when people are retelling stories and add some sort of twist. It's what makes us humans, our way to portrait things in a different way. Here the twist is to not have any twist. It's absolutely average kicked out hero who is really OP, oh and he's a healer but it doesn't matter. If you've seen something like what I've described, I guess it would be time wasted. If you're new to this genre, it's great way to start because it would look fresh and everything next you'd watch would feel better. I always want to get into mind, motivation and reasoning of the heroes. While MC sidekick, blue haired girl he saved some time ago, and I'm kind of afraid of their age difference, has clear vision, she want to repay for his kindness. Unfortunately MC mind - Save everyone, motivation - Unknown,…

First of all, the show doesn't really live up to it’s name which I find pretty funny. Anyway, pretty decent show, yet another take on "main character gets kicked out of his old party and they realize he was powerful after he's gone" but this one was pretty different and also quite enjoyable. The MC was likable and enjoyable to watch, and the plot was decent. It has a fair about of romance (which became weird due to the age gap but whatever) but it was easy enough to overlook. Overall pretty good, though the ending was a bit rushed and we never did get to learn about the MC’s powers, or even his past. Would've liked more focus on him.

It's just so... ass 😭. The show feels so empty. The atmosphere is horrendous; it deadass feels like I'm playing a video game, just going from one room to the next. The animation is inconsistent, the story goes nowhere except up my ass, the characters suck dick, and everything about it sucks. This show deadass makes me feel like I'm just absorbing sound and lights like bacteria. Whenever someone else besides Laust pops up, my brain genuinely turns off. It's so ass, I'm not even looking at the show, I'm just staring at the reflection of the screen at my face, wondering "what am I doing with my life." Maybe the point of this show isn't to provide an interesting story, but to make you realize that there are better things to do with your life.

Took me a year to finish watching it. The artwork is average. I can deal with that, but the story is just atrocious. With every episode, it got worse. I don't know what the author wants the MC to be. The MC's character just does not inspire. As for the story, I don't know if it is just the anime director/ production company or if the author has an idea how to write and just throws ideas in the story without reason. Well, that's my rant without spoilers. I have seen some bad anime, but this is terrible. Anyway some of you may enjoy this, but I didn't. Thanks for wasting your time reading this.

my first time writing a review, THIS ANIME IS BAD. Quick list on why it is bad in my humble opinion: 1 - that one blue hair girl that KEPT "ONII CHAN" non stop. 2 - A healer that does everything else other than healing. 3 - That one annoying scared useless mage kid (miss girl use ICE magic on PHOENIX LMAO). 4 - cliche and generic af, just like any other adventure genre anime you'll find online. 5 - lmao you'll get why they called the mc a "goody two shoes" Forgiving too easily despite being bullied and scammed. 6 - static background, like at least make it move SLIGHTLY. conclusion - skip it, don't waste your time. Unless you wanna experience it LMAO.

I only got a few words for this anime.. IT'S.FCKING.BORING. Honestly, I didn't knew watching a 12 episode anime can be this painful and i watched a handful of generic isekai-themed anime and this is one of those anime that i would not really recommend and for sure will be forgotten for years to come. It starts with our "MC" Laust, a healer (waddaya know??!!) and an incompetent one as the guild and townsfolk call him since he only knew the basic healing spell, got kicked out by his current party and is looking for new party members. And by this, he met Narsena, a blue-haired girl with a job as a martial artist and teamed up with him. And this is the start of their adventures as two-man party, or NOT. After this i thought watching this generic one can be at least bearable but after watchi…

This anime has a lot of potential. I really enjoyed the plot, and the characters were engaging and well-developed. It left me curious enough that I’ll probably check out the light novel at some point to dive deeper into the story. If you’re someone who isn’t overly critical of every anime you watch and just enjoys experiencing new shows that bring something fresh to the table rather than rehashing the same tired tropes, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a shot. I don’t regret watching it at all—in fact, I found it to be quite enjoyable. I honestly wouldn’t mind a second season because I’m really invested in seeing where the story could go from here. On top of that, the art and animation were absolutely stunning, which added so much to the overall experience.

I'm not really a writer type of guy so bear with my lack of words. It sucked. Nah, but it was a slump after hearing ONICHAN OVER AND OVER AGAIN. It gets to you honestly. Anyways I'm the type of guy that ALWAYS finishes. heh. So I had to finish this anime. I knew from episode 1 this was going to stunk and it did. But it was bearable and something to watch for the time being. Imagine watching the Office in the background but instead of enjoying the revisits of the Office you instead feel a pit of despair but continue watching because your are literally half way in already. a solid 3.5/10.

Although this anime wasn't the most spectacular series I have watched it still has some very interesting story points that I would like to see expanded upon in another season. 1. What is Raust? The coolest thing about this series is the mystery behind Raust and his abilities. Let me be clear on this, I have seen a lot of reviews equating this series to an OP MC trope when in reality Raust is relatively weak the ENTIRE series. Its only 1 or 2 moments where we see this unexplained Oni form where he gets a power boost. This series is pretty generic with the "MC kicked out of the Hero's party" Trope but if you are looking for something fun with some interesting lore then you should give this anime a try!

The anime is one of those OP Main character types, and yes they are all essentially generic. So the question is should you watch this one one? And honestly I felt it wasn't bad. The rating is low at the moment but I think it deserves at least a 6 which probably gives you a good idea on what its like. Animation is okay, nothing jarring that kicked me out of the show. Characters aren't amazing but they have at least a little personality. It meanders a bit where it just takes a some time to go anywhere and the plot is pretty simple anyone could work it out. I wouldn't go out and buy it, but its better then the low score its getting, if you specifically like the OP main character genre its a good watch as a "I'm bored on the weekend with nothing to watch anime", but I wouldn't go far out of…

SO MANY LOOSE ENDS IN THIS ANIME. This anime may have had potential in the beginning, but somewhere around episode 6 it started to fizzle out-. What made it worse was the rushed ending to the season; it seemed as if the season COULD HAVE gone on for 24 episodes, to answer questions and to show more plot build before a final battle - but it did not. In the last two episodes, MORE questions were made than answered, introducing more characters who we would not get to know their part in the who story as to WHY they were introduced. The part that probably culminated this three star (***) rating was probably the final battle - which could have lasted two, maybe three episode - lasted all of 15 minutes, INCLUDING the talking by the party as they discussed IN FRONT OF the BBEG what their plan was…

This anime was generic, slow, and hard to get through. The animation was pretty enough to look at, the fight scenes were fine enough to watch, but it was obvious they were cutting corners. The music was less than impressive, but not grating on the ears. It's not horrible. Maybe someone who had never seen anime might like it and appreciate all the explanations and not mind how slow and lame everyone is, but anyone who has seen quality anime might end up wincing more than once as they watch this. Our main character had potential, but he's just too...polite. Like, he's willing to let people try to kill him all the time and he's like "Oh, hey, that wasn't nice. But I'm not angry, just please leave so that you don't hurt someone else." Also, our title promises that he is the strongest, but ev…

Decent enough fantasy anime, honestly not as bad as the MAL score suggests, if you enjoy fantasy anime you should give it a watch. Sound: Decent enough Characters: They were mostly likeable even though the MC was one of those 'goody two shoes' types even that wasn't unbearable. Story: Again decent enough even though you could tell where it was going around episode 5, and the ending was a cliche I'm not to fond of. Enjoyment: Eh good enough better that that what to eat in a dungeon show, why that's rated so high I will never understand, give this one a try it's a decent way to spend 3 hours. 1st review I've written on this site and it's not because I thought this was some ground braking piece of fiction, simply didn't agree with the low score.

I really wanted to give this show a negative rating. This show perfected the art of mediocrity. Everything about it is mildly disappointing but not hugely disappointing. It took all the formulas of the other am I actually the strongest type animes, but instead of trying to add its own distinct twist to it just decided to average them into a single generic show. Is the show worth watching? No not unless you have nothing else to do, but if you’re stuck in the hospital, this could be a welcome distraction for a few hours. Is the show actively bad? Not really I’ve seen much worse anime. The show was so aggressively mediocre. It left me violently ambivalent..

What the fuck is this? Damn it, it's like the hero is good but not great and suddenly has magical powers to awaken again. In summary, do you want to be good or not? The story of the buffalo is very slow-paced. Few fight scenes but lots of talking, you idiot. And at the end, the hero explodes with power and acts like he can't control himself She herself came to console him. and fight the villain together with a happy ending This is the only reason he wants a dull hero or a good story. This shit seems like I don't know my own stance on what kind of shit I want. When you put them together, it's a goddamn heel.

I don’t usually write reviews but man.. this anime was pure trash. The characters are bland and prettt dumb. The story it’s just.. idk. It has nothing new, typical predictable isekai stuff. The art style and the animation is pretty basic low budget. 0 character development, pretty boring. MC isn’t strong at all, he is supposed to be a healer, but he’s using a dagger ? Wtf ? Out of a sudden when his colleague from the party gets hurt he get a power that was never explained what it was. I struggled so much to finish it. Almost every episode i wanted to drop it. Don’t recommend. You’re wasting your time

This review is dedicated to other people who enjoy trashy isekai/fantasy animes. Is this worth the time watching? No, not at all. It's not the entertaining kind of trash that you can watch in two days, have a couple of laughs, and be done with—it’s just boring. Also, the title is just bait. That "banished" part was resolved in two episodes, and the conclusion was kinda lackluster. It’s like your mate messes up in a game, you lose the match, and then decide to ban him from your Discord. Same goes for the "strongest" part. The dude goes super saiyan mode for five seconds, and that’s it. It happens like twice. Otherwise, he’s just a generic guy with a dagger, and he doesn’t even heal that much. It’s kinda like a slice-of-life anime. You watch the protagonists do their daily chores, but the qu…

I should give this a 3, but the first couple of episodes held my interest, so I'll give it a 5. The Good: - Narsena is a good character. She's plucky and cute, and skilled enough while actively looking to improve. - At first, you want to see exactly what Laust has up his sleeve. How does he operate? How has he come to be that way? What is his connection to Narsena? Why does his hair look like it belongs in a '90s boy band, and his face on a mannequin? - The conniving, greedy guild lady is a fun touch. The Bad: - The animation starts of lackluster, and is a half-hearted slide show by the end. Seriously, did they run out of budget? Were they pooling their lunch money to keep the lights on? - Same goes for the plot. - There is no real mystery, only deus ex machina. - There are too many chara…

Overall - it was enjoyable. And also unoriginal and 100% forgettable. You know how you'll watch a last episode and think "Man, I can't wait for a season 2!!!" Not here. One season is enough. What was really terrible was the translations. For example, Laust is always called "O-niisan" by Narsena. But the translation is "Laust." Same thing throughout the anime - it's off-putting. Then there's the animation. Some of it is just terrible. The perspective is often mixed up, Laust is holding a long knife, then sword, then knife, then who-knows-what - a crooked line? A stick? There's little detail anywhere and the faces are laughable. Eyes are often just two slanted lines. It's like the animation skipped several steps to save money. Ever see the meme "$25 piece of art vs $200 piece of art." Same a…

After watching all 12 episodes, I can safely say this fantasy anime is another generic bland serving in the ever growing menu of "The MC is the strongest and no one knows about it, so gets booted from his party". Although definitely not the worst of this type of show and definitely not the worst fantasy anime I've watched (which gives it some points), it saddles the line of mediocrity, with the only standouts being the varied cast and the MC's "secret", while the clearly low-budget animation and lack of any real depth bring it back down. The story follows "Incompetent Raust", an adventurer who can only use basic healing magic, who happens to be in the usual trope of "super famous adventurer group that turns out to be a bunch of a-holes". Most people treat him like crap... until they don…
