Pretty generic, mc is underappreciated by his other team and as such is kicked off his original party though we learn others knew just how awesome he was. Ends on a cliffhanger about the dungeon. Overall if you're a fan of pretty ok action and a kind of generic story then you'd enjoy this. Not great, not bad like a lot of generic anime. I personally wasn't really hooked though I did watch the whole first season and I didn't really feel like it was all that unique either. MC is also generic, doesn't seem to understand how strong he is compared to others.

this anime is kinda shit but compared to all the other shit anime airing these days it was, comparably, good.
Overall it was a nice watch without needing me needing to be too invested. Even to the point where I wouldn't have minded it being 24 episodes over maybe even watching a potential second season.
Despite the kinda basic setting the characters have a little bit of depth to them and isn't completely 1-dimensional (although they are not very far from it).
Dont get me wrong though. This is definetily not anything extraordinary. Like all the other power fantasies our MC just keeps mentioning how "This is a original spell I created" and "this is another original spell I created" that happens to be very useful for his fight before he pull out yet another completely unseen power out of…

What did indeed suck:
* Overused theme, tropes, characters, dialogue.
* Power scaling -> MC went from being shown as a zero to basically a superhero extremely fast.
* Pacing -> it is even worse than most reviews say. It's consistently inconsistent, not just slow/fast.
* Details -> really botched a bunch of details. E.g. a nameless side-side-character (but same clan as the protagonists) dies in the last episode, and it's as if it didn't happen at all -- I'm not talking about it not getting attention, I'm talking about it literally being treated as not happening, e.g. MC literally saying "But we're all alive". But maybe it was that the episode that was ultra-rushed and just left a bad taste in my mouth.
What was exaggerated by other reviews:
* 3D animation quality -> actually this was prett…

Every so often I check out low ranked anime because this site chronically sleeps on gems
For a majority of this season, it's a bog standard generic game-ified fantasy anime where everything operates like an RPG for some reason. The main character is a pretty cookie cutter overpowered good guy who just wants to save everyone and knows everything.
But further in, the story actually starts to reveal it has a lot more going on than it seemed, and much more interesting villains show up. The show has actually set up season 2 quite well and I could easily see it being significantly better than this one. I'm willing to recommend it purely for that. There's nothing offensively bad about this season, it's just a tad dry and fluffed up.
It's a great second monitor anime with promise of blossoming…

TL;DR - Uses edgy revenge power fantasy synopsis to pull you in, but pivots quickly to fun (if generic) fantasy anime. Final third pivots once again, this time into more unique plot - by end of S1, any "slop" vibes of revenge-power-fantasy are gone. Production quality is solid, characters decently written and fun.
Before I get into the review, my final score: I rated it a 7/10 (the kind of 7 that sits closer to 6 than an 8)
A solid (if somewhat average) generic fantasy anime. I like to think of this kind of show as being akin to "anime fast-food".
It's yum, it's fast, and sometimes you get a craving for it- even if it's not that great.
It starts off at a solid 6, a very generic power-fantasy where some people are mean to the MC and we see him get "revenge" by virtue of showing everyone…

This anime isn't as bad as the score displays. You should pretty much know what you're getting into if you're interested in watching these type of show. MC is kicked out of his party because of illogical reasons. MC is actually really OP. MC joins another party. MC wrecks all before him. MC gains new glory.
That said, these types of tropes are right up my alley, provided they give a solid showing- which I personaly think this one does. Now again, there are dozens of animes similar to it, so let's just dig into why I think this particular one is solid.
The first is the world building. Yes, there's guilds, dungeons, parties, etc. But what I like is that there is a bigger over all story line that is quite sinister. Can't believe I'm saying this- but yeah it's enough to make me interested on…

The undertext of this series is to point out how people with decent all around skills are often undervalued in society, especially in the context of Japanese companies. It is drawing a direct parallel to a valuable employee whom has fairly high capabilities, but doesn't take the spotlight being driven out of a company by self centered team members who think that their accomplishments were made with their own strength. By leaving the toxic environment and being lucky enough to find new people who bring out the best of the jack of all trades, he is able to thrive.
The actual story portrayal is that of a typical power fantasy anime, which has its ups and downs. But so long as that's what you're looking for, this is a decent anime overall.

Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None
The anime follows the usual " kicked from the hero party " trope, the MC being the most skilled and powerful yet being kicked by some fool egoist Hero, a meat head tank, a useless magician.
what Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None, has better than the other anime might be that Orhun know's he's capable as he has special ability has created his own magic spells and is powerful enough to slay a dragon on his own.
also the side characters are not too sloppy, tho the students of Orhun are annoying as hell especially Sophia, TBH i don't promote young old relationship to be specific minor and adult thing its just doesn't fit right for me, i don't judge if anyone is fine with sophia and orhun.
I want Orhun and Selma, I SHIP THEM AND WILL TILL THEY GET TOGETHER…

I went into this show with high hopes. I liked Orhun and Selma; booted from the party revenge plots are usually fun, and I even thought the rookie kids weren't bad characters. So what went wrong? Well, at a certain point you'll start to notice something lacking in an action fantasy show; that missing element is the fricken action itself.
Half the show is just talking and bath scenes. I'm not even a person who hates fanservice, but it's just ridiculous the amount of screen time wasted in bathing when there's already so much time gone just standing and talking. The talking even undermines the sparse fight scenes we do get.
Most stories with the characters ditched from the party plots have at least the satisfaction of seeing the other antagonistic characters' downfall, but this show even fu…

Full of flaws and a bit cliché, but still very enjoyable overall.
"Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None" is a solid anime with a number of small annoyances in its presentation. While it doesn’t do anything particularly new or groundbreaking, it’s still a worthwhile watch. If you’ve seen similar series before, you’ll likely recognize many of its ideas and tropes, though I’d say it executes them slightly better than most of its competition.
Starting with the issues, the biggest one is the cast. The characters don’t have much depth throughout the series, and most fall into familiar archetypes. There isn’t much development or complexity to them, and their personalities feel fairly standard for this type of show. The same goes for the romantic elements, which follow predictable patterns. That sa…

I think for the themes that it represents it's a good anime. If you're someone who likes the trope of overpowered MCs or unrecognised efforts this is it.
There's more animation effort than season 3 of you know what show and I think the plot had genuinely interesting concepts but unfortunately they make up like 15 min of the whole 12 episodes and all concentrated towards the end. If there was a season two it could potentially be really good but...idk ig we'll see, maybe.
The things I didn't like are the MC's stupidity (i don't mind op characters but if he's smart enough to do everything he does how can he not recognise at least A BIT of his worth?), the forever present thirst of underage kids for the adult mc, the fact that the important, more interesing plot is just "hinted" at through…

I watched the entire season in one sitting, so I may have a bit of a different take on this compared to those who watched it episodically each week.
Now, let's rip the bandaid off straight away. This is indeed another entry in the ever-growing slop-fest of:
"Super OP MC is undervalued by arrogant a-hole hero squad who cannot see his worth", with the added trope of "but one of the hero party members does realise MC is actually super-mega-awesome", followed by "MC ends up in a new party that love him and all the girls fawn over him".
It's beyond generic at this point, because nearly all of these shows play out the exact same way.
However, I have to give this particular version some props, because it has far better world-building and plot-intrigue than probably 90% of the other shows in…

Please dont waste your time on this crap like I did. The start is solid, the first 3-4 episodes are enjoyable, then it get boring.
-The fighting scenes feel lackluster, the characters keep yapping instead of fighting. The boss 80% of time just stands, keep looking and does nothing.
-The side characters constantly need to remind the MC how amazing he is. Like by constant reminderring we would be baffled by the MC too.
-MC has multiple OP abilities which are not explained. It just feels like he is on god level from get go. No character growth, the is just Mary Sue.
-The animations sometimes (mostly during dynamical fights) seem like from the 90s CGI. I felt my eyes were bleeding.
In the end, there was nearly nothing enjoyable. No slice of life, no good banter between characters, no good…

Here we go again... again...
Another "banished from the, I left the, X party" anime that doesn't deviate from the now established formula
At some point I felt like I was going through tick boxes: MC is kicked from the Heroes Party, Is actually the most powerful, Heroes Party ends up failing due to MC's absence, 'Heroes' are antagonistic with obnoxious personalities, MC helps new adventurers out, MC thinks he is weak and hesitates on his own abilities, etc etc etc even right down to the former Heroes Party overstaying their welcome as they keep showing up and hanging around like a bad smell.
But it doesn't stop there, after throwing in every trope from the 'Hero Party' it throws in as many other tropes as it can, to be blunt there is little original here, it is beyond generic. Probably th…

It started off as a pretty generic story with some redeeming qualities: the plot was cliché, but the MC seemed to be the smart and strategic type, and there was a bit of social politics between him and his former party. That was the first 2 episodes.
Then the story devolved into MC turning into a one-man army, after which we forget about his original party altogether and he just kinda hangs around in his new clan. There are a few heartfelt moments (though they are also pretty rushed), but generally it's pretty boring.
Finally in the last two we suddenly get a "twist" with a "mystery" out of nowhere, with no foreshadowing (except a random appearance in episode 9 I think), and a genuinely bad implementation. Nothing about the mystery makes sense, nothing is set up properly, they just throw…

There are many negative reviews. Most of them are because it lacks originality and similar problems. Same reviews as almost under all fantasy/isekai anime under 7*. And I agree it has few bugs but that does not mean anime is bad. I saw anime which was original and had great reviews but were absolute trash. Same as many movies (ma*vel for example - overrated)
But this anime got few laugh moments, sad moments even few cool ones. I don't like the new 3D fight animations trend but overall if you are a little bored and don't know what to watch this anime can entertain for 3 hours while you watch season. I would like to see sequel so I can enjoy interesting story between MC and villain which for the first time in the long time didn't feel like that much of a cliché.
Many anime got reviews befo…

a show that became considerably worse in the second half. with competent enough animation, characters, and story (with some outliers), the first half was one of the shows this season i found more enjoyable. unfortunately the quality of storytelling drops like an absolute rock in the second half. as any kicked out of the heroes party story, the show's entire reason for being ceased after the redemption section of the story. overall id say the show was a waste of time in the end.
for the first half, i would say its a 7/10 show, following time tested reliable storytelling methods with acceptable character quality. for the second half, id say its a 4/10 show with lackluster animation and several weird, sudden, personality shifts and fire emblem fates quality storytelling (which is to say, ve…

Story
There was definitely potential here, but the execution fell off hard. Like every other show in this genre, the MC gets kicked despite being OP, but then he solos a "final boss" level threat right in the middle of the season. After that, the story just stops moving. There’s no momentum and zero consequences for his actions—he defeats a massive threat and then we just watch him do nothing. The side characters are completely forgettable, and the city feels bland and shallow. Every person he meets feels like a typical, scripted NPC rather than a real character.
Visuals
It’s not tragic, but it is incredibly mediocre. The character designs feel recycled, like you’ve seen these exact same faces in ten other series already. The magic effects are equally lazy; it’s usually just a colored cir…

Kinda sad after reading too many false and negative reviews regarding show , I agree it got some problems and lacks originality but it doesn't makes this trash or below average . The most critical thing which matters in these kind of cliche shows is ability to set tone which attract a large amount of isekai and fantasy fans and I think this anime did pretty well in setting a mood at least in my opinion .
Character design for mc is heavily inspired by Krito and Jin wo even the voice is heavier and gritty . The plot is simple which you usually expect in a modern fantasy , they tried to make it interesting by adding some factions , manipulation , extortion stuff for power and self satisfaction . All matters is your enjoyment level and yes I enjoyed a lot . I won't mind seeing a another seaso…

Chaning my previous review from "Not recommended" to "Wait for 2nd Season".
Yuusha Party wo Oidasareta started weak in a season with no less than 4 shows with "Yuusha" in their titles. Slow pacing and repeating tropes didn't help.
Everything changes after chapter 5 or 6. The show abandons the "kicked from Hero's party" standard plot. Without going into spoilers, the MC doesn't exactly grow, but he doesn't mope around either. Sure, the "Jack-of-all-trades is actually a Master-of-everything" is still there, but it's tapered off by his dynamic as a teacher to younger adventurers - which was actually my favorite dynamic of the show - he shows his skills by actually making other characters grow.
While I was pleased with the direction the show took, I cannot recommend it right away. The seaso…
