Introduction
Lady Tiararose Lapis Clementille and Crown Prince Hartknights Lapis-Lazuli Lacmouth have been engaged since childhood. However, a day before their graduation from the kingdom's academy, Tiararose spots her fiancé embracing another woman, and, overcome with hurt, she recalls her past life as an avid player of an otome game called The Ring of Lapis Lazuli. In the game, Tiararose was no heroine—she was the wicked villainess who stood in the way of the prince and his true love, Akari.
Tiararose is destined to face condemnation at the graduation party, and she prepares to accept her fate. Hartknights accuses Tiararose of mistreating Akari, calls off their engagement, and banishes Tiararose from the kingdom. However, having witnessed Hartknights' contemptible behavior, Aquasteed Marineforest, the prince of a neighboring kingdom, steps in and proposes to Tiararose!
But Akari is not done meddling in Tiararose's affairs. Within her, Akari holds the power of Holy Prayer, a highly coveted magical ability that could undo the so-called villainess' happy ending.

Honestly, I was thinking about dropping this anime every single moment while watching it.
It’s genuinely bad in every aspect. The story is cliché and adds absolutely nothing new to the whole reincarnated-into-an-otome-game genre, and the execution is just terrible.
The heroine is extremely annoying, while the male lead is painfully cliché, like he was literally created from teenage girls’ fantasies.
And the worst part is the animation, which makes you feel like you’re literally watching drawings being moved around.
If you want something from the same genre but with much better execution, watch Jishou Akuyaku Reijou na Konyakusha no Kansatsu Kiroku.
At least, that one was funny.

This show was beyond mediocre. None of the characters were interesting enough for the viewer to actually emotionally invest in, and the romance felt like it only happened because it had to, not because it happened natural. it made it hard to root for the main couple because none of the romantic moments felt earned or real. conflicts happened over the stupidest things, and when there were "major" issues, it was hard to care about because of how flat all the characters felt.
with all that being said, i understand that some of this may have been the case because the anime had a short run time, therefore they had to smoosh a lot of content down in order to tell the story they were trying to tell. i also understand that this is clearly for a younger audience, no younger than twelve at least,…

The supposed Villainess has the personality of a wet tissue paper. All she does is bake cookies, get doted on, get jealous over the blue haired girl. Absolutely nothing else.
The prince who claims to love her more than anything spends more time with another girl despite his fiance being visibly uncomfortable. The "antagonist" girl says throughout 1 whole year that she doesn't love the prince but realizes it when they're literally taking their wedding vows and cries infront of a church full of people 😭🙏
I didn't enjoy the romance at all, it just felt superficial.I thought the fairies are going to be something unique but no. All they do is dote on the Fmc for no reason and eat desserts with her.
I still kinda liked Keith and the Sky fairy king. This 1 star is for them, otherwise it's a…

Good anime, go in with an open mind.
Enjoyed this anime very much despite given the cliches. However, it was really a beautiful romance although it being fairly dramatic but felt the lesson learned is commitment is a choice. Once you and your partner make up your mind to continuously choose each other despite all else. In that way, you give more meaning and more thought into the love you share. This anime gives a good example of that. It's very good once you see that idea in mind.
Some may even view this as "cringe" but I can see that being the case because being loved, the idea of love, or have not even the slight idea of love could very much make some uncomfortable. Especially ones who has never really experienced affection in a healthy way or was rushed affection in every way which…

# the fake villainess is own by the crazy prince in the boring kingdom
What a violent ride this anime. Not that it is any violent in any way, which might be the real issue here : this is so much dripping with honey feelings that there is not so much to appreciate. So much that it's not difficult to imagine that all the characters in this anime are borderline sociopaths, keeping their poker-face and façade while the audience is none the wiser. In a way, you can sense these are game characters, and nothing more. And it's almost creepy.
Since you might love a good romance with some obstacles the mighty couple need to overcome, chances are that you might become totally allergic to the female lead, and especially to her "oh aqua-sama !" moanings (get ready, these are numerous). This is clearly…

Simple main character review: Tiararose only knows how to make cookies and be insecure, and Aquasteed only knows how to flirt and be extremely dense. The character writing for these two is... straightforward. Keith and Claire, specifically, are the only enjoyable characters in this show. Most of the background characters are fine. Art is fine, most of the time. Animation is typical of this genre (that's to say, very barebones, with added effects to give the impression that there's movement on screen). Music is also fine.
The main issue: conflicts and resolutions to the conflicts are written in a way that is very unsatisfying. It's written with a: problem, immediate solution, problem, immediate solution, etc. format. This format *can* work, but the actions the characters take are simple at…

- This series is cuckold angst of multiple characters. Not a single episode goes by, without someone worrying about their partners being stolen from them. All plots across 12 episodes revolve around people being in love with someone else's partner or worry that their partner is in love with someone else.
- The villainess is not really a villainess. She and her family are good people. And almost everyone (king, family, maids, strangers, magic fairies etc..) loves her.
- The art and character designs are boring cheap templates. The animation is practically a slide-show, with all the panning/zooming/shaking animations with voice overs. Low effort throughout. People who have a cheating fetish, where you are worried about your partner cheating on you or seeing your crush happily in a relation…

With the first episode, I was really apalled. Too much problemes going on there. But I gave the serie a chance and by the 3rd episode, the story had beagin correctly, the dialogues went better and the eyes, so weird at first, seemed to improve a bit.
I won't deny I still had to fasten some bits here and there, as their lovey-dovey scenes make no sense at all most of the time, and the serie itself cut short (really really short!) a lot of what happened in the manga.
As a result, we have the full story of it, condensed in 12 episodes, and they still managed to keep the cringey dialogues typical of otome games: that's some skill for you.
So:
_If you have doubts after the first episode but enjoyed the original works, give it 2 more episodes to see. Once the pace picks up I got hooked 'til th…

Not to yuck anyone’s yum, but of all of the otome villainess stories, this had enough of a following to be adapted into an anime? Frankly, the review that called this “otome slop” hit the nail on the head; the characters are wildly one dimensional, and the plot is just so nothing burger. Most of the time I was watching this, I wanted her to just run away with Keith because then she wouldn’t have had to go through all of these random contrivances related to “game events.”
I don’t think this is anything offensive, but now that more and more villainess stories are being animated, I’d recommend picking up literally any other one (especially because you’ll get more of a villainess out of those stories than this one).

First frame: "oh, it looks decent enough, it might be worth, watch..." * rest of episode happens* "Wft did I just watched?"
Luckily (for me), there's no need of a detailed review, people seem to already know that its not a great one. But I had to suffer and I also had some weird "images" planted in my head, so I decided to help other feel the same :)
So. Visuals. I'd say: meh, or the basic stuff. But not the one we usually get. We have nice backdrops, nice details, nice landscapes, nice everyday stuff, basically everything under Team B was good work. Then, you get the stuff that moves. Well, the character design is not consistent. We do get some nice ones (or even amazing, sure), but mostly it might also be reduced to meh (bro, wtf was that king's beard when he's on the throne?? in ep3 ma…

Basically the whole anime summed up. The "villainess" is just a plain npc that doesn't do anything, hasn't anything for her and clearly is nowhere near a villainess. And the other characters are as boring as her, even in the worst animes there's always one good character but no, everyone is just... bland.
While it is not the worst anime out there, you're gonna either be bored to death or shaking your screen while screaming "DO SOMETHING" with frustration. Either way, not the best moment of your life. Hard pass.

And is the villain mentioned in the title in this room with us?
When it comes to villain stories, I think we all have a pretty good idea of the type of protagonist we'll get. Either a clumsy, airheaded girl trying to fulfill the villain role, only she's more cute than intimidating. Or, the one who truly embodies the role and has an iron will, stepping over anyone who tries to take advantage of her. The problem is, this anime has neither. It seems the anime only used the term "villain" to capitalize on the fact that it's a subgenre quite appealing to certain audiences. And therein lies the problem: when those audiences saw the product, they realized they'd been ripped off.
The protagonist doesn't have a single villainous trait, nothing. She's just the typical damsel in distress who can'…

TLDR review:
Yeah, this is pretty much Otome slop. the villainess aspect is hardly relevant on top of that. The art is beautiful and the animation is average but it has some cute moments that made me a bit giddy. If you are in the mood for something to turn your brain off to and like Otome or romance, then this is probably for you. This is in no way an anime to praise seriously or even really make sense of. The dialogue can get quite bad and a lot of times the Heroine just repeats everyone's names back to them as a reaction hahahah. Its a huge whatever burger and an almost funny bad anime, but it has its cute moments.

What is love exactly?
Because seeing it from a woman's POV is sickening, this show showed it well. Lol
There is no villain in this series, which I always love. I wish there were a lot of shows that did that, but who am I to talk?
But, oh boy. This show really makes me giggle a lot at how they treat women. I kept thinking who wrote the story throughout watching the series. Because if the writer is a certain gender... Let's just say I'll give them a side eye.
How did I find this?
Apparently, I read this before. I mean, I saw my bookwalker page, and the manga said: "read". That meant I read it a long time ago. Didn't remember when, though. 😂
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
I read it, so I want to jog my memory by watching the show.

(This is more like a 7.5/10)
I really enjoyed this anime. It was one of my favorites of its cour. I loved how true to an otome game it was and how ridiculous some of the plot points were. I liked that it had a sense of humor while also pumping up the melodrama. The characters were easy to like and easy to root for. I really enjoyed the twist about one of the supporting characters. I would definitely watch more seasons but the ending was great if this is all we ever get.
If you enjoy otome game shinanegans, then you'll likely enjoy this anime. If you want things to be less lulzy then you might get frustrated by it.

I love villainess anime, mostly becasue I find the story of redemption for a character who was unjustly turned/presented evil somewhat close to my heart. And I love me some sweet romance and SoL, but sometimes too much of a good stuff can be bad as well.
Animation and music: pretty standard. Animation is on the budget, that much is obvious. But they still managed to pull out some impressive scenes here and there. So I will praise them for that. The music is what you would expect, it purely exists to enhance the scenes and put you in the mood and nothing else. No noticeable tracks as well.
Overall - animation and music are industry standards, they are on the budget but they still managed to pull it off to look presentable as best as they could.
Characters: Tiararose is a good girl, too g…
