The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess

The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess

Introduction

Konoha Satou has a dark history. After all, she spent her teen years writing self-indulgent fantasy romance fics-like her Dark History. But since she's become its most despicable villainess, remembering every last detail is now a matter of life-and-death. Having avoided the first couple of death flags, Satou's suddenly left in the dark when a mysterious stranger returns from the Lily Kingdom-a character she doesn't recall writing in the original script. Although Yomi claims to be her ally, can Satou really trust a character she knows nothing about in such a dangerous world? (Source: Yen Press)

This story is prime example of when the heroine in story is a beautiful all loved and pure fl . The fictional konoha the fl in the og story is the worst written character in the whole story , her only points for appearance is for a fan service flashback or her saying smth charming and showing main character powers . Characters - I would say Sol & Yomi are the best written Sol is someone who doesn't show much expressions or emotions he is someone who works on orders of prince and he likes Konoha and feels a sense of protection for her since she saved his life . Instead of like usual him suddenly being attracted to villainess Sol takes time to like Iana and even more so to actually display his emotions of worry . He gradually develops likeness for fl and keeps observing her actions instead…

I finished it in a day, but honestly, I can't give it more than a six. I actually liked the "villainess who isn't really a villainess," but what I couldn't stand was the sister—super perfect, gorgeous, kind, and loved by everyone. Every episode revolves around the protagonist being misunderstood and unfairly accused, despite her good deeds. It works for the first few episodes, but after a while, it gets completely tiresome. Sonin the end I can't say it's a great anime, but it's certainly not bad either. If you have a couple of hours to spare, give it a watch; otherwise, Just skip.

Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi, or Tenkuro, is an anime that knows what it is, and doesn't try to be anything less or more. It is a light-hearted brainrot parody of contemporary shoujo tropes, especially the villainess genre. It is as such filled to the brim with insane clichés, extremely cringy comedy and the tropiest characters imaginable, but that's the point of the show! So, if you're looking for a funny show you can watch mindlessly, look no further. The plot of Tenkuro is, as you'd expect, extremely cliché. It has literally everything you'd think of that a shoujo villainess show should have. The reason for that is that the story is supposedly written by a cringy, edgy teenage girl. In fact the same girl who is the main character, Iana! So basically, the main character dies and gets re…

Honestly this anime is exactly my humor. First time i kept giggling for so long like this, and i relate so much to the main character because of how she finds her own writing cringey bc i've always felt that way about my ocs and their story lines. The anime progresses well and you don't get lost or confused in the story line, and the characters are ngl super loveable. Especially yori, i fucking love submissive puppy men 🫶🫶 this is the first isekai anime i've everh watched and i loved it. The character reactions were also good considering it was a story made up by a middle schooler. They are unrealistic in the most realistic way possible.

Among Villianess type anime, a common theme is to subvert the viewer's expectations by adding a twist upon the shared tropes of the genre. In this one, the main character is the author of a story she wrote in her middle school and high school days. She is isekai'd as the villianess that she killed off in chapter 1. It's enjoyable to watch the author struggle to remember her own self insert story she wrote and cringe upon remembering things as they happen around her. The gag art and expressions are fun. I found myself entertained and not annoyed by the characters, a few plot twists were surprising. I enjoyed the dynamics with the female protagonist and the male leads as well. For some, it may not be their cup of tea. I would recommend it to people who enjoy romance isekai or other villianes…

This was an absolutely delightful play on the isekai trope that refuses to take itself seriously. The author is giving Osaka/Kansai coded humor, which was so much fun to watch. Even more so when you understand the fun little play on words going on throughout the show as well. Critique (possible spoiler): The only thing that threw me off guard was having the only blatantly queer character be a villain and an implied r*pist. As much as I enjoy seeing queer kisses on screen, this definitely left an odd taste in my mouth. Our FL does acknowledge that, in MS, she basically made all relevant female characters lesbians since "everyone needs to love the heroine." Her current self, on the other hand, sees past this 2D way of writing stories/characters. This then becomes a bit of a... depends o…

Haha I am not even sure where to begin in describing this anime! It's one big pile of mess, but super fun to watch! So it's like, have you ever fantasized about things or described your version of "ideal" things in the past, only to realize how cringe it is when you're older? That's what this anime is about. Except, for most of us, we can just casually forget or delete whatever we wrote. This character (Sato Konoha) was killed and then reincarnated to the world of her cringe fantasies! Every episode is one misadventure after the other but really addictive. Give this a watch if you're into this kind of plot :D

Villainess trope but make it funny and cliche. Easy to follow and understand the story. It’s series that don’t require thinking too deeply into it, so a pleasant watch for any occasion. It is well executed so each episode keeps you interested. Might be full of tropes that are very common, but the way all of it is put together makes it original in its own way and definitely fun. There is also English dub, and the voice actor done a great job portraying each character. I highly recommend. Personally will be coming back to rewatch this series for sure.

Another "I got Isekaied into an Otome game as the villainess"... is what I would say but this time it's actually good. The twist here is that the MC got Isekaied into her own fanfiction from middle-school. Thing is Tokyo traffic is hell and truck-kun was late by... say 10-15 years. Basically she was a working adult by then and all of this was so far behind her it might as well have been written by someone else. Also while her perfect Mary Sue self insert is the heroine of the tale she got incarnated as the villainess, not the Mary Sue. TL'DR = Fun show and unironically a good watch. PLOT & STORY = 8.5/10 Plot is generic, every "chapter" is a fantasy trope meant to play out with her self insert heroine at the center. HOWEVER while that's the plot, it's not the story. The actual tale i…

I thought this was going to be a very mid villainess story but it's actually one of the best depictions of how weird and horny middle school girls are. And all without sexualizing the female protagonist. The main character is reincarnated into a story she wrote as a middle schooler, but she's in her 20s when it happens. It's not my favorite trope. The character animation is pretty low quality but I think it's because they decided to put more money into unique animations that convey emotion or vibe which worked well and really saved it imo from looking too cheap. I also think, given that the world was written by a middle schooler, the animation seems apt. We get so much empathetic anime about chunibyo boys and it's about time we got something equally empathic towards girls of the same age…

The villainous isekai genre doesn't have stories that revolutionized fantasy, but damn, they're fun. Something I'll always say about the genre is that, being so limited, it always forces you to be creative in some aspect. Tensei Akujo was creative in the figure of its main villain or antagonist. It's already a classic for the protagonist to reincarnate in a story of her own creation. It's just that the protagonist's writing counterpart isn't usually given much focus. Something they do here, and in a very entertaining way. Since the story was written by her teenage self, she's constantly attacked for the embarrassment of her teenage fantasies. It's hilarious to see how every conflict that arises within the main story is simply because the girl was raging on a summer day. While there are ch…

I think this show did a great job of executing exactly what it promised us: a story written by a dumb, edgy teenager, and said teenager facing the consequences after growing up. The cringey and generic parts feel intentional, making it not painful to watch and instead just pretty funny. I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy villainess stories and dramatic main characters with wholesome intentions. The story isn’t very predictable, and, as one may expect from a story written by a young teen, slightly all over the place, but not in a bad way. The main character is a bit paranoid about death flags, but this is mainly because she thinks in absolutes: she wrote her characters as stereotypes, with said things they would ‘absolutely’ do, such as protecting the heroine, her sister, an…

The 2nd villainess anime this season, and this one is with interesting promise. Despite some shortcomings it more than delivered. Animation and music: animation is on the budget and it shows, despite that what they did is very good. Sometimes it is hard to follow everything that is exploding on the screen but they did wonders with what they have. Music is nothing special, it get's the job done and that's about it. Only exception is controversy with OP song since it is so... out of element. But still, it was nice to hear something different instead of usual anime songs. Overall: animation is on budget but they executed well with what they had. Music is usual one you get anywhere with the exception of OP song with is rather silly to say it the least. Characters: FMC is called Sato, she is…

“If it isn’t the consequences of my own actions” the anime. Ever created your own head canon/OC and wanted to escape to that world? Well, be careful what you wish for. As Iana discovers in this show, things don’t always turn out as rosey as we imagine them in our heads. Tenkuro isn’t a groundbreaking show, but it is an extremely fun Otome style story because it follows Iana dealing with the edgy universe she created back in school as an escape from her mundane life. While her real life was boring, this world she created in her story was anything but. It’s a world of magic, hot guys, perfect female self inserts like her namesake Konoha and a villainess who is constantly trying to kill her sister and is hated by the entire kingdom. Iana being reincarnated as the villainess and having to deal…

The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess — When you get to live out the fantasies of your crazy ideas and yet have to suffer copious amounts of cringe for it, for bland…or for fun? By this point in time, we've seen just about anything that is shrill in line with either the Isekai reincarnation aspect or the prevalent themes that continue to prove its popularity with the villainess theme, because for better or worse, it too has become part of the Isekai slop for years on end now. Yet, for all of the mediocrity that we have and had to suffer through for seasonal anime on end, as much as it has become the butt and joke of the AniManga industry, the Isekai theme will find a way to strike again and make a comeback that's worth enjoying once again. Case in point, mangaka Akiharu Touka's…
