SakamakiKoyatsu
As an iconic anime among the casual and comedic anime, what brings the plot together are the 2 epithetical characters being Uzaki Hana and Sakurai Shinichi, whose relation is base on sprouts of excitement from Uzaki, after not seeing Sakurai for a while. Besides the... fan service, the appearance of the anime is spot on for a casual almost rom-com type of anime(Although that is not its actual category.
Hint: to enjoy this anime, watch other anime along, before, or after watching episodes or this entire series which are like or are rom-coms, involving a teasing female and a non-teasing male, that should motivate you to watch this anime or continue after starting.
Speaking more about this anime, what it really entails for plot are adventures of the duo of the 2 main characters and this is…

So this is one of them loser romance animes like nagataro and rent a girlfriend i personally hate
but i genuinely enjoyed this anime, like it has some amount of fan service but it wasn't to the point that i get super annoyed
yeah it doesn't really have anything special to talm about, its just slice of life anime, the characters feels a little empty and the romance is kinda lacking, i guess if you are into wasting time on something that isnt super good to make your mind daze off this is good for you
tho it has some cliches like the main cast being insanely stupid and half of the side characters' whole thing is "just kiss already" or "how long will it take before they become a couple" and nothing else
and the second half is like the uzagi's (the main female character) famlity which they get…

This anime isn't the great thing.
-ENTERTAINING VALUE: it took me forever to watch it because tbh it gets pretty boring at times. Not unwatchable, tho, but it could certainly have a more interesting narrative.
-PLOT: I liked the being university students thing, it allowed for more freedom and other kind of scenarios other than the same summer festival, sports festival and highschool most romance anime have or at least had for the last years.
It's very light hearted and I can't really blame it for that, because it can't flop if it doesn't try. This kind of anime isn't going to blow your brain like say Code Geass or Serial Experiments Lain or anything, but at least it's no pretentious, it knows it's limitation, and even tho I would have liked it to have a more emotional tone, maybe more r…

Even though I like this kind of romantic comedy, this work didn’t hook me the way Nagatoro did
i found the jokes here weaker, more predictable, and forced (and Nagatoro’s jokes are already pretty forced)
Something just didn’t grab me in this one. The MC is good though — I’d say he raises the overall level of the show...
In the end, it’s mixed feelings, because it really depends on your taste for comedy and such.
Just don’t expect anything serious from this work.

Such a fun watch,
Just came from finishing "Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro" and wow this was a breath of fresh air from that garbage., There is so much "Uzaki wants to hang out" does right, from relatability towards characters to laughing my ass off at times. The teasing isn't overwhelming from Uzaki and her airhead-ness rubs off on you, ending season two you find it quirky and adorable.
Meeting each member of her family the further the anime went along was a treat, except for the brother, man his voice is bad. The dad is a sweetheart and the mom is so on brand with her airhead-ness, you see where Uzaki gets it from, her obsessing over her ranchy love stories on tv and then trying to emulate that into her own life with Sakurai was some light hearted fun. The award for best side charact…

An anime that improves over the course of its episodes, from a bad anime or one I didn't like at all to becoming an entertaining anime. I'm not saying it's the best romance anime I've ever seen, but it's an entertaining one to pass the time. This anime is also aimed at a very specific audience. For example, I don't like love stories where the protagonists speak rudely or treat each other badly. I prefer a slightly more romantic love story with scenes that make the protagonists love each other more and more. That's not the case here. From time to time, there are scenes that are a bit too risqué for the teenage audience who's watching it because the protagonist, Teo, has big breasts.
If you want a slightly risqué romance anime, I think this is a good option. Although it's not an ani…

The story follows the relationship between the introverted Sakurai Shinichi and the extroverted and lively Uzaki Hana, who insists on spending time with him and making his college life more "fun." The anime's premise is simple: to showcase the dynamic between the two protagonists and the "hilarious" situations that arise from their interactions. Sakurai is a calm and reserved college student, while Uzaki is energetic, teasing, and somewhat intrusive. She constantly annoys Sakurai with her pranks and persistence, but at the same time, it's clear that she cares about him.
Comedy was supposed to be one of the anime's strongest aspect…

Uzaki wants to hang out is like Nagatoro but slightly less insufferable. Watch this if theres nothing better to do.
Uzaki as a character somehow manages to have no personality and MAAAASIVEEE personality at the same time, which really adds depth to the character i think for sure undoubtably naturally as a matter of course. Average romcom, makes up for their shortcomings with two big massive bundles of fun!
There are no significant plot points at all. She likes him, he's a bit of a brick. Personally, this anime is a little bit difficult to watch without imagining her as a chid. do with that information what you will.
Eh its fine i guess, bit of a dud

"Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!" is a really amusing and playful show that is all about the comedic (and sometimes romantic) character dynamic of the dangerously extroverted Hana Uzaki and the highly introverted Shinichi Sakurai. Each episode has Uzaki try to drag Shinichi out of his mentality of wanting to do everything alone by inviting him to do something together. The humor comes from both characters being stubborn in their own wants which creates misunderstandings (phrasing) that lead to wacky hijinks, playful arguing, and teasing. This all leading to the two getting ever so slightly closer to one another as the show progresses.
If you are looking for a an entertaining young adult romcom that has an engaging balance of both rom and com, there is a lot of fun to be had with this show.

Where do I even start with this trainwreck? As an introvert myself, I was expecting a relatable and lighthearted anime. But nope, what I got was a cringeworthy show that mocks and belittles introvert personality.
The main character, Shinichi, is basically a caricature of every introvert stereotype. And Uzaki-chan? More like Uzaki-chan Wants to Annoy the Crap Out of Me. Her constant nagging and forcing Shinichi to socialize made me want to scream. Newsflash, creators: being an introvert isn't a problem that needs to be 'fixed'!
I was really looking forward to a cute and funny anime, but what I got was a shallow and insensitive show that fails to understand the beauty of introversion. It's like the creators thought, "Hey, let's make fun of those quiet people and force them to be more like…

I loved this anime! Although the show leans into some typical ecchi slice-of-life tropes, I personally believe that the college setting and the characters really make it engaging as a college student myself. I think Uzaki and Sakurai as protagonists make an awesome comedy duo, and their antics are ultimately what kept me coming back.
Production-wise, the show isn't the most amazingly animated piece of media ever, but I dont think it needs to be. It's competent and conveys everything that it needs to. Uzaki's VA (Japanese) is awesome and the way she teases Sakurai yet also is able to be timid at times shows off a great range of emotion.
Plot-wise, there isn't much to say. Most episodes are mostly self-contained, but frequently reference past events and characters. By the end, you do feel…

My first impression of the work was rather negative. Firstly, Sakurai's voice, the main male character, bothered me quite a bit. They chose to go with a voice that matched his "terrifying at first glance" appearance, which is heavily emphasized throughout the episodes. The fact that his gaze is scary and surprising, but in "normal" dialogues, his voice is a bit too deep to fit the situations. His voice doesn't quite match well with the moments when Sakurai will be calmer. However, with Uzaki, although he frequently raises his voice, he is also quite calm and transparent by nature. However, to contrast with what I just said, Uzaki's voice is simply perfect for the character. Oozora Naomi, her Seiyū, has beautifully interpreted her character; it's a 10/10!
Another thing that bothered me con…

Its another one of those anime where a crazy girl (Uzaki) stalks and harasses a guy (Sakurai) who's just minding his business.
But to the guy's credit he's not a pushover and actually fights back.
The girl's only redeeming qualities is that she has big boobs.
She justs Never Shuts The Fck Up.
She is very loud and in his face. And cant take a hint to get lost.
And doesnt phrase her sentences properly so that they dont sound like sexual innuendos. And everyone around thinks they're a couple or having sex.
Uzaki sees Sakurai as a loser because he's a loner. When in reality there is absolutely nothing wrong with him. He is smart, strong, tall and hardworking.
Sakurai's acquaintances are the most nosy people in the world trying to play matchmaker between the two, when nobody asked them to…

It's an alright show.
Very average in almost every way.
The our main characters each have their personalities and get into weekly antics but nothing really changes.
They both stick to how they already act and there's no big character flaws that they overcome, they hardly grow as people tho Uzaki learns how to get drunk and Sak starts hanging out. It wasn't something he was apposed to before, he was just content to do things on his own.
Also, a tad refreshing that this ISN'T about Highschoolers, they are first and second year college students and do have to do some adultish things.
All I get out of the show is a bit of wish fulfillment, of course I'd like a cute bubbly girl as a friend that I goof off with and have similar interests. The show doesn't ever get especially funny, just repeatin…

This review is not objective, only subjective! I love this girl! Everyone should! Uzaki may be annoying, but only if you can't see the charming in this! She's such a kind girl. Did you notice she changed her attitude for Sakurai-senpai? You probably have not, you haven't given her a chance, shame on you! She may not know, she has a crush on him at this point, but she does her best to cheer him up and get him out of his comfort zone.
You could say, Uzaki is just for connoisseurs. For people, especially men, who looking for a buddy-like girl, who's not just to your girlfriend, but also your best friend in life. Hana has her physical advantages, but never use it to tease or convince you to do something for her. She has her ways to tease you. She's just adorable and that's what makes her spec…

This felt really amazing like I'm in a sitcom with couples and friends. I like the dub and sub together equally. The animation has such a great impact to the art-style. The music sounds great for each scene and the jiggle effects if you know what I mean. Anyways the animators really spend time for those animations which was well done. The pacing of the show was really great with each episode being somewhere different in Japan. You won't get bored. I seen this whole anime in one sitting even though I should be touching the grass hahaha. (It was Covid times so yeah). Would recommend to people who aren't uncomfortable to see an anime because it has a lot of weird parts LMFAO.

Uzaki-chan feels like another carbon copy attempt of a SoL RomCom where our leads have opposite personalities. Nowadays, it feels like these types of romance anime are mass produced.
My issue with Uzaki-Chan is that it feels so uninspired and brings nothing new to the table. The show reminds me of the romance version of Demon Slayer where the idea's and plot developments are all reused and recycled. However, Demon Slayer made the best possible version of the reused material with everything else being dialed up to an 11.
Uzaki-chan did not dial anything to an 11.
If you have watched shows like Nagatoro (maybe not S1 but S2), Sono bisque, and Komi, you've essentially already passively watched Uzaki-chan. There is nothing novel that this show will provide to you.
If you haven't watched The…

Even after my soon-to-be 3 years since I last saw this anime, it always brings a smile to my face. You really can't go wrong with this, it's an anime that would be able to cheer you up in a matter of minutes. First off, the characters are made up very well, and lets face it, Uzaki-chan is absolutely adorable! The characters you see in the show all have great personalities, and they all go great together. This anime is like a hidden gem, something we should all find. A perfect 10/10, a great anime in many different ways. Would 100% recommend whether you're watching it alone, or with your friends. Lovely anime overall.

tl;dr: A fun teasing type comedy where the main duo have really good chemistry.
This anime is a plotless pure comedy centered around the ‘girl teasing the boy that she likes’ dynamic that is increasingly common recently. It doesn’t shy away from this aspect at all and the heroine, Hana, does her best to annoy the protagonist Shinichi as much as possible. If that’s not your cup of tea, then you obviously won’t like this anime. Furthermore, a lot of this teasing is centered around Hana making fun of Shinichi for being a loner and not having friends. That also seems to be something that is off putting to some people, so once again, if you don’t find humor like that amusing, this isn’t the anime for you.
Now with all that said, I think this is a solid execution of the formula with good varie…

Uzaki-chan is actually a really fun and funny anime if you ever want to take a break from more mainstream shows. If you can't handle a bit of ecchi/lewd moments every once in a while, then no one is forcing you. Definitely wear headphones watching.
This anime really doesn't have an outstanding story or anything, it's just Uzaki and Sakurai figuring out their relationship, a majority of the time just being teasing, competing, complaining about each other. But it's extremely clear what their true feelings are closer to. I get a slight Kaguya-sama vibe from this anime, as I see Kaguya and Shirogane in the two of them. But there's not that much mental warfare, it's just their daily lives where "unique" things are happening to them every once in a while. It's entertaining, but I can see plent…
