At the beggining of grand blue I wasnt having much fun but through the episódios I started to like it very much.
Grand blue is an anime about a diving club in some moments, but in most of them they are junk drinking and this type of thing.
I really have fun watching it and the story is very Simple such as the jokes but it made me laught a lot.
The charachters are a high point of the story, they are all different, some of them a bit generic but this is the good part of some of them, all are unique in some points.
The Animation is quite good, for a comedy anime I would expect a low quality for Animation, however this has a good Animation.
In conclusion, I know that is an Anime which isnt for everyone but I think everyone could give a chance.

This show should not be allowed to be as funny as it is. If the concept and gimmick of this show was described to me before watching it, I would wonder why anyone would want to watch this. But this is the most I've ever laughed at something so stupid in my life. Enter every episode expecting a new way for the cast to end up naked and blackout drunk. Each character balances with each other very well and the romance aspect was part of what kept me hooked. If you come into this show under the false pretenses that you will learn more about diving, the ocean, aquatic life, etc., you will end up being disappointed.
For any pretentious chuds who didn't enjoy the show; fuck you.

Saying Grand Blue is about diving is like saying Jurassic Park is about zoo management. Technically? yeah. Legally? I guess. Spiritually? Absolutely not.
Yes, there is diving, there are scuba tanks, there are breathtaking underwater landscapes that'll make you want to get certified on the spot but the second these idiots crawl back onto land, every ounce of common sense immediately evaporates into the atmosphere. Before you know it, someone's naked, someone's screaming, someone's being forced to drink a suspiciously clear liquid that's apparently "water" But hey, Welcome to college!
- WELCOME TO GRAND BLUE
The story begins with Iori Kitahara, a freshman who arrives at college with the same hopes and dreams every first year student has. He wants a fresh start, he wants to make friends, he…

I finished a rewatch of this a few days ago, and I'm reminded of why I like it so much. It's similar to one of my other favorite comedies, Daily Lives of Highschool Boys. Both exceed in making you love the bullshitting a group of friends can get up to. I love the bond between these characters, even though many of their interactions may seem like they're just varying degrees of assault and torture.I think a lot of anime find their comedy from incredulous moments, and Grand Blue excels at that. The facial expressions, the timing, etc. To be honest, I'm not that hard to make laugh, so most things scratch my itch; I can understand how people don't like it, the comedy is crude and does use a lot of shock to drive home the moment but I think that's part of the fun. Again, it's a group of college…

Expecting a wholesome anime about diving? Think again, Grand Blue is pure unadulterated chaos. If you love peak comedy and want something that will literally make your stomach hurt from laughing, this is an absolute must-watch. The story is so unique because it takes college life and turns it into the wildest, most hilarious ride possible. I honestly enjoyed every single second of it.
The art style looks clean, but what makes it perfect are the legendary, terrifying facial expressions the characters make during the gags. It fits the chaotic humor flawlessly. Same goes for the characters, they are just a bunch of scummy but lovable idiots who fit this wild world perfectly. The comedy is loud and absurd, but it never feels forced or weird.
Pretty much anyone who appreciates peak comedy wil…

Grand Blue’s uproariously deranged facial expressions should give you a sense of the kind of risqué edge you’re signing up for. I’m always happy to see them not just because it feels like a more honest portrayal of its perverted protagonists than many other anime would be comfortable with, but because it feels so appropriate to the comedy. When Grand Blue is on, it is ON. Many silly line reads and wacky antics to be had. What’s more, the summer beach atmosphere really gives the show a relaxing hangout vibe that helps to fill in the gaps of its humor.
It has a sophomoric edge to it, where most of the guys are a bunch of perverts. They try to be a little self-aware about it, and it doesn’t go too far with the sex antics, but it falls into that middle ground where its self-awareness is also…

This was the type of show you don't think much about when you start it but the more you watch it genuinely makes you laugh and then you find yourself thinking about it later at night.
I came to know about this anime when someone recommended it to me and I will forever be grateful to them.
At first I was weirded out by the nudity and the overall setting of the show and wondered "why would anyone ever recommend this to someone?". But it didn't take long for my opinion to change.
A group of college students who are mutually fond of diving come together and engage in chaos fueled activities. It hit me with a huge wave of FOMO, made me desire a future and present like theirs even though I know it’s not possible and I absolutely loved feeling that way!
This show made me laugh, pissed me off…

It made me laugh, it entertained me, nothing else was needed.
Actually I don't like Japon comedy, but Grand Blue is really entertained me.
It's very absurd but it doesn't lose touch with reality. Even though 90% of it is comedy, ıt handles the anxieties of a college-aged person in a not so bad way. Grand Blue handles the anxieties of our main character Iori about college and the future and his struggle to find his passion in life quite well for a comedy anime, in my opinion.
Grand Blue is an anime built around an interesting concept, full of silly antics, and features fantastic character reactions. However, I can't say the same for the animation quality. While the artwork isn't bad, the animation is average.
The jokes especially obscene and black humor ones very funny, I thought about…

The comedy in this anime is truly hilarious. If there were 10 jokes, I'd laugh out loud 9 to 10 times. I think this anime is one of the best comedy anime, both in terms of delivery and overall story.
This "comedy" anime taught me a lot, like that you can be friends with anyone if you put your ego aside, whether they're a normies or even an weaboo.
By the way, the animation and art style are quite good, as some scenes actually "move," not just moving PNG images.
There's not much else to comment on here, but the character names are very memorable. 😹

The Bro Culture Everyone Needs
Grand Blue Dreaming is about the fun of being in a diving club, and then realising that college life, is just an excuse for taking in lots of alcohol.
This is the best piece of bro culture I have seen in anime, being surrounded by naked muscle men, and constantly drinking and teasing each other constantly, it is great.
It's that kind of show, that just goes all out college humor, and sometimes they remarked that, shouldn't they be diving or something? nah, let's just keep drinking.
It funny, will lots of funny faces and bro moment where they just torture each other, with embarrassing things.
and the female character's are just as funny as the muscle men. and there's no better sexual tension, then what's between cousins.
It starts out in the worst situati…

Grand Blue is easily one of the funniest anime I’ve watched in a long time. From the very first episodes, the series throws you into complete chaos, and I genuinely found myself laughing out loud while watching it. The comedy is loud, absurd, and sometimes completely ridiculous, but that’s exactly what makes it work so well.
The characters carry the show. Iori and the rest of the diving club are absolute disasters in the best possible way. Their expressions, reactions, and over-the-top situations make almost every scene entertaining. The timing of the jokes is also surprisingly good; even simple moments turn into memorable comedy because of how seriously the characters treat their nonsense.
Another thing I appreciated is that the anime isn’t just about drinking and partying. Beneath all…

Four words: "WTF am I watching right now?!" That's what you are going to think while you watch this series.
[Only ep 1 spoilers on the review]
The central part of this anime is the comedy. If you are not interested in funny moments, don't watch this. But if you want a random anime with a lot of funny moments, this is your show, so drink this Oolong tea!
Every episode shows the spectator how the characters gain confidence with each other and do the craziest things in a university setting (nudes in class, escaping from the police, parties with a lot of alcoholic drinks). Of course, there is the story of the scuba diving club, the main plot of the anime. The members make the main character, Iori Kitahara, join and party with them throughout the show. Iori starts university and comes to live…

I really enjoyed this anime; it had great humor and was very engaging. Some scenes were really funny. I'm eagerly waiting for season 2. The drawing style was very suitable for comedy, the shape-shifting moments made it even funnier, the drawings were fluid, and the story, in my opinion, was very well-balanced for the comedy genre. It was fantastic, I definitely recommend it. The story was original. I loved all the characters; they weren't all stereotyped, but rather somewhat adaptable individuals. The openings weren't really my thing, but I can't say they were bad either. I would recommend this anime more to those looking for comedy and peace of mind.

An eccentric cast of lovable alcoholic losers. I find them very relatable, except the part where they party all of the time. The only problem is that they don't dive as much as I would like. I wanted this to be more a a Yuru Camp thing where I learn something new every episode. I mean what gives I should know how to professionally dive by the end of this series. Instead I got piss drunk watching it just like the cast. Maybe that was the whole point, to just get me piss drunk on wheat beers and pale ales. God I love drinking, is there any other thing greater than drinking beers. Cracking open a cold one with the boys, is there any other greater feeling. But does it still count when the boys are on Discord. That's more of a question for a Ghost in the Shell review than a Grand Blue review. A…

This is a stupid show. The good kind of stupid. What do I mean by that? WELL GUYS... ARE A BUNCH OF DRUNK NAKED DIVERS GIVE OFF ANYTHING BUT STUPID VIBES????
Seriously though, this is an awesome show for a couple of reasons...
1. The comedy is very funny, maybe i just like drunk naked men.
2. Awesome characters. Big guys, weeb, dumbahh and the girls (idk how to categorize the girls other than chisa) all make for a very funny group of characters doing dumb shit.
3. Very pretty art, especially in the serious moments (not a whole lot of them)
I wouldn't really recommenced this show if you're here for the diving, they only do that stuff sometimes. But its still super good, bye gng.

The reason for the 10 rating is the Absurdity of Grand Blue and I don't think many would argue on this....The most hilarious anime I have ever seen....
This is an anime where you don't look for logic and story but just enjoy whatever is going on...There is no story and no character development but only chaos and Absurdity, and that is what makes Grand Blue so special..they took responsibility for one thing (making the viewers laugh and Forget the tension) and they completely nailed it... Really one of the best humourous anime out there...
And surely this is an anime which you can never watch in public or on a big screen because the nudity is the very essence of this anime which adds to the Absurdity..

Grand Blue Dreaming is pure chaos in the best possible way. It’s one of those rare comedies that actually makes you laugh out loud every episode like, real laughter, not just a smirk. The facial expressions alone deserve an award; the animation goes completely unhinged in the funniest ways.
The humor is ridiculous, over-the-top, and somehow always lands. After watching a few dark or heavy shows, Grand Blue feels like a breath of fresh (and slightly alcoholic) air. The cast is insane, the timing is perfect, and the energy never drops.
It’s not deep, it’s not dramatic and that’s exactly what makes it so good. It’s just pure fun with a group of idiots you can’t help but love.
A hilarious, feel-good comedy that hits every time . perfect for cleansing your brain after too much serious anime.…

This show is reminiscent of American sitcoms: characters get together inside a space, and the plot revolves around either setting up a joke or delivering a punchline. There are some more serious moments, but they’re few and far between. There is a vibe of an instructional video sometimes because there are scenes of straight‑up diving talk, but they are integrated into the comedy, so it does not overwhelm you. Characters are mostly caricatures of different stereotypes that are prominent in anime. The sense of humor is, of course, subjective, so if you enjoy the play on stereotypes and gag humor in a show about college kids getting together to have a drink and get up to all sorts of shenanigans, then you will enjoy this show.

Alright guys, has anyone ever compared this anime to Grand Blue (2018)? Honestly, I think everyone would love this show. I can’t understand how someone could rate it below 7. For me, it totally deserves at least an 8 — maybe even an 8.5 or 9.
The comedy here is beyond the limit! If you think this anime is mainly about diving, just wait until you finish it. Once you start watching, you’ll end up bingeing the whole thing — it’s that hilarious 😂
Don’t worry, no spoilers here. Let’s just say this anime is about 5% diving and 95% drinking. But that’s exactly what makes it so funny. The humor is totally different from your usual comedy anime — absurd, over-the-top, and absolutely hilarious. And the MC’s friends? They’re all chaotic in the best way possible.
Also, the opening theme deserves a…

So listen to me guys, its not the heart breaking comedy as GTO but this is the funniest shit after... NO NOT AFTER IT IS FUNNY AS PRISON SCHOOL ILL PUT MY LIFE ON YHE LINE FOR THAT, this is the funniest anime I ever watched after so much time like this is the comedy gem of animes, the character relationships are good, character design is good besides those friends of main character group but the problem is this is a full comedy anime only focus is comedy and they did it really fine but there is no other feelings maybe getting hyped up is the second feeling that this show gives me but nah it cant make you sad it cant give you romantic feelings it cant give you fulfillment. In the end this is the stomach aching anime that you should watch. Besides Nanaka every single one of the characters ar…
