AMAZING ANIME
Well, I watched Aho Girl a very long time ago, I think back when it came out in 2017. At the time, I absolutely loved it and it cracked me up. After giving it a rewatch, I can happily say that it didn't disappoint at all—it’s just as funny and surreal as I remembered. Sure, it might not reach the levels of works like Yani Neko, but I have to say it’s a really good anime.
For many, it might be a bit hard to watch because of the panty shots and Akkun constantly hitting Yoshiko, but that’s just part of the show's comedy. It’s a very short anime that you can easily binge-watch in a single day, since the episodes are only 12 minutes long and there are 12 of them. It's basically like watching 6 full episodes, so give it a chance. Honestly, it was just as good as I remembered it fr…

A really funny rom-com lol.
Aho Girl is the kind of anime that shows absolutely no intention of taking its own story seriously—and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work so well. Instead of trying to build a complex narrative or develop a plot packed with major events, the anime fully embraces comedy, turning practically everything into an opportunity for a joke. The result is an experience that is incredibly lighthearted, over-the-top, and, at many points, genuinely funny.
The show's greatest strength is undoubtedly its comedy. While the characters embody clear-cut stereotypes, these are played up to such an extreme degree that they actually work within the anime's premise. Absurd reactions, behavior completely detached from reality, and, above all, the protagonist's incredibly ecc…

Bro i swear this anime named Aho Girl was sooo random and so weird and somehow i liked it to be honest,i mean the weirdness in it made it funny and it made me laugh my ass off i swear to god,it has a bad score but still,i really enjoyed it how random and troll it was at times.
The story, wasnt there but still,i gave this anime this higher score just because it made me laugh.
The animation...Well it wasnt that great but still liked it.
So overall i really enjoyed this anime because was troll, funny and made me laugh so bad and from me it has a 10/10 because was weird, funny, random and atleast made me laugh so much, its not the type of anime to make you cry or feel emotional but atleast made me laugh so bad by the weird moments in it.

Humor is a thing that has always been a complex concept to explain. There are things that can make some of us laugh, while it makes others cringe in disgust, or at the very least, feel indifferent. Writing humor is an extremely difficult thing to do, as no humor is universal and some are bound to view your work as a waste of time. Aho Girl is probably one of those anime that will make a lot of people feel indifferent, and also make a lot of people annoyed or frustrated. It is a gag show, full of punchlines, perverted humor, and outrageously unhinged vocal recordings. It is the definition of bouncing off the wall, full of energy, and it can be exhausting.
But underneath that surface, Aho Girl does succeed in its task. It will make you laugh, and it will charm you slowly but surely until t…

This is a mid and unfunny comedy anime in my openion.
Actually, I laughed in the first episodes but i watched the last episodes just for the sake of seeing the ending of it. The story is, i don't remember what happened in the show. Art style is kinda old style and looks decent at most.
Animation is acceptable. It's okay
Characters are poor-written for a comedy show. There is no depth, the show is all about dumbness of their character but i think it doesn't work after the first episodes. They are not interesting or deep.
And the ending is so bad and meaningless.
But I don't think this anime is too bad, because it is short and it can be funny sometimes. 5/10

This anime does have its funny moments and some good characters, plus an OP worthy of dancing to, but ultimately fails to capitalize on most of the positives Aho Girl is given. Not to mention the main character (Yoshiko) is such an idiot to the point it becomes practically insufferable to watch her antics. Some of the humor landed just fine, but couldn't hit the mark consistently and a lot of it ended up being weird to sit through. This anime is on the shorter side with 12-minute episodes though, so if anyone decides to watch this and suffers through it, the suffering will be a lot quicker than the typical length of a 12 to 13 episode anime.
Overall this anime isn't a total disaster, but can be annoying to watch.

The easiest way to describe Aho Girl is "made me laugh until it hurt multiple times and had me giggling constantly in between."
It's goofy and dumb and a most of the jokes are absurd. Luckily most of a jokes success lies in the delivery, and boy does this show execute. The soap opera scene with the dolls had me in tears, or the bedroom break in scene. I'm giggling now just thinking about it.
The episodes are pretty short, so it's not a huge time commitment to just put this on and laugh at whatever stupid antics the gang is up to.

"Crazyness and no reason".
Is that anime made for any type of public? it doesn't look like. For anyone trying to defend this as a "intelligent comedy", don't, because is not. The five last episodes are kinda better, but not "good" in term. The first five episodes are hard to swallow, it's so forced and contrived, it's edgy and annoying, as if that was the point of the show; how being insufferable is synonymous of fun? Be careful with your mind because watching this feels it can give you brain damage. And how can someone be so annoying as "Akkun"?! that's the most annoying character I've ever seen. This anime is not a fever dream, it's a confusing and weird nightmare that doesn't scares you but make you feel uncomfortable.

Believe it or not, I originally looked down on Aho Girl. I read its premise, watched some clips of it on YouTube, and told myself: "Yeah, this seems like a very dumb comedy with very little tought put into it and, worse still, an infuriatingly stupid protagonist who will make this whole experience insufferable and unfulfilling to watch". And proceeded to avoid this anime like the plague for a few years afterwards.
That was until one day where, for one reason or another, I found myself bored in my room with nothing to do. When suddently, across my mind, the mental image of what I then believed to be that "dumb, stupid" anime appeared for no reason in particular, and I said: "Hey, why don't I give it a chance. After all, it can't be as bad as I originally said it to be, right? And I don't r…

The plot well, dont hope its just a comedy trying to put us in smile or laugh. its fine however until they tryna romance the spice of comedy a bit. still a good show tho but its just not well for me but i keep watching it because it is enjoyable. very much i do laugh and smiling across enitre show . how do i say... its like asobi asobase but with male being the main lead of romance but plot isnt romance enough. the visual is great , just fit the show . audio song and else is ok for me .

Aho Girl is peak brainrot. A show where you just turn off your brain completely and let the madness unfold in front of you. "Aho" is Japanese slang term that roughly translates to "stupid", which is a good descriptor, as you have to get your brain stupid to enjoy this show to the fullest. In each episode expect copious amounts of underwear humor and extreme extroverted autism. When some viewers complain that fan service in certain shows was unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the story, Aho Girl proudly says "what if I make fan service the entire show?"
Aho Girl is a rare subversion of the pervert trope in anime. Typically only guys in anime are shown as absolute perverts, but in this show, it is completely reversed. This time, all of the female main characters (and most of the suppo…

Whether you enjoy this anime or not will depend on whether or not you find the main character Yoshiko funny or incredibly obnoxious.
On paper she is a very annoying girl. She's stupid, dense, loud, doesn't respect personal space, cant take a hint, and is obsessed with bananas.
But ultimately she was still a very entertaining character.
The story focuses on Yoshiko annoying her super smart "childhood friend" Akuru (A-kun). Akuru sees her as an annoying pest and tolerates her as much as he can and constantly has to scold her physically.
Yoshiko's mom who is insane in her own special way really wants Akuru to marry Yoshiko since she knows no other man ever will. She's willing to go to extreme lengths to keep other girls away from Akuru.
There are other minor characters who add to the over…

My family found me with a stupid grin on my face, eyes wide open, and a laptop still playing the last episode.
Aho Girl is not just an anime; it's an experience. It's a masterclass in absurdity, a symphony of stupidity, and a celebration of silliness. Yoshiko Hanabatake, the lovable idiot, and her entourage of eccentric friends will have you giggling, guffawing, and gasping for air.
The plot? Who needs a plot when you have a cast of characters this lovably ridiculous? It's like the writers took every anime trope, threw them in a blender, and hit puree. The result is a deliciously dumb, sidesplittingly silly, and ridiculously entertaining ride.
I'm not ashamed to admit I snorted my coffee out my nose, spat my lunch across the room, and woke up my neighbors with my cackling. Aho Girl is a…

It's a stupid Anime about a stupid girl who does stupid things in stupid situations and gets stupid outcomes and then gets abused by her Stupid Senpai. It's straight and to the point but it's so repetitive. It's a guilty pleasure of mine personally but there's a reason why after 6 years this hasn't got a season 2. Sorry but not sorry. Idk why it was even adapted into a anime. Story isn't really interesting it's pretty repetitive they do something at the end of the last episode but that gets nipped in the bud
The MC is literally just her and her senpai and the Senpai just Abuses her non-stop. Characters are pretty Hollow too.

Is like a comedy rollercoaster that never stops bringing the laughs. Yoshiko's total lack of common sense and her crazy antics keeps the humor up. The timing is spot-on, and the situations she gets into are just plain ridiculous, in the best way possible.
But, here's the thing... After a while, you might feel like you're stuck in a comedy loop. It's all about Yoshiko doing something nuts, and while it's fun, you might start craving a bit more spice? in the humor mix.
Still, it is the go-to for anyone who just wants a solid dose of crazy, lol moments. It's not trying to be deep or fancy, just a good time with a bunch of absurdity thrown inxd

I cannot Express in words how much I trully dispise this siries. God, in the Middle of the series I felt some liquid in my ears. It was melted brain and blood. The Aho girl is the most annoying and stupid character that I ever seen, to a point that is not even funny, its just awful. His friend is also as annoying and disgusting as she is, even though He should me the Normal guy that gets annoyed and suffers a lot :(((. IT JUST DON'T WORK, God, he becames just annoyng as her with his attitude and violent temper. The only torelable character is a Dog just because he doesn't talk. But in the end, even after all of that, I trully recommend this series, specially if you want to torture someone!

I watched Aho Girl. Here are my thoughts:
The episodes for this are under 13 minutes long, so I'll try to be brief. This is basically a silly comedy show that is mostly episodic. In a nutshell, the comedy itself is objectively terrible but the delivery is good.
Most of the comedy in this is either slapstick or sexual, neither of which I'm fond of. Much of the humour in this is just utterly generic school-anime comedy that any anime viewer has definitely seen before. However, the delivery was good enough to keep me watching.
The VAs constantly yell and the dialogue is pretty fast-paced. Yoshiko (the main retard girl with the orange twintails) really carries the entire show – her VA does a fantastic job of enthusiastically yelling all her lines into the mic. This show would literally be u…

Aho-Girl, is, in short, extremely silly. From the comedy style, to the voice acting, to the wacky situations and outside references, it is trying its hardest to make you laugh from start to finish. Beginning with the story, it's a simple and highly episodic setup about a dense, fun-loving fool and her best friend, a short-tempered and studious guy who takes everything as serious as a car crash. Through their misadventures, often instigated by her immediate desire to play or eat bananas, they gather a small cast of supporting oddballs, like the disciplinary committee president, and a directionless hoodlum who dedicates his life to these two friends. There's very little in terms of story here, which makes total sense, and things are largely taken on an episode-by-episode basis where some cra…

It’s a gag anime, which revolves around a stupid girl- Yoshiko Hanabatake, who even though is in high school acts like a ten year old monkey- both in not having common sense, being dump and craving bananas, in the metaphorical and physical way. Which is to say her mom wants to marry her to the protagonist, Akutsu Akuru, your average main character: smart, black haired, and for some resaon still friends with the dumb neighbour. In each episode we have some kind of series of events, ending in more or less funny ways.
As for the characters, one-dimensional would be the best description. Even though there are a few that appear throughout the show, other that the protagonists, and Akutsu’s sister, which is basically Yoshiko’s personality copied in a smaller body, only one comes to mind, Sumino…
