Season 2 is shorter than Season 1, but somehow it felt even more intense and mysterious to me.
The story focuses less on simply fighting Titans and more on figuring out what is actually happening inside the walls. The reveals are some of my favorite parts because they completely change how you look at certain characters and earlier events.
I really liked how the characters react to everything happening around them. They’re scared, confused and sometimes make questionable decisions, which makes them feel more human. Eren, Mikasa and Armin continue to develop, while several side characters get much more attention.
The animation still looks great, especially during the ODM action scenes, and the darker atmosphere fits the story perfectly. The season is short, so the pacing feels much tight…

WELCOME BACK! READY FOR 2...LETS GO!
Season 2 is a great continuation of season 1 of AOT. I honestly feel like it had no business being that short & definitely needed some more episodes. which is why I gave it a 6 rating because I really want it more episodes!
the story progresses very well, the action intensifies, ooh and there's more interaction with the scouts AND the Titans! So you're going to get some interesting on the battle action for sure! The story is fleshing out, establishing the characters (still alive) and a pacing that you're able to keep up with. how AOT decides to move throughout each episode & now that we've established a rhythm, as a viewer you're gonna have a great time in season 2, for sure! it is it is by far my favorite season of AOT and really deserves more airtim…

A relatively short but strong continuation of the first season. Despite having only 12 episodes, the deaths are more gruesome and grittier than ever before. However, it's not without its flaws. The opening episodes can seem rather slow due to the individual backstories of the rest of the characters. Additionally, that confession towards the middle of the season just felt really out of place. I understand the context would be explained in the latter episodes, but the fact that they just confessed like that out of nowhere really took me out. Lastly, the backstories of Krista and Ymir didn't really click with me. I honestly couldn't care much about Ymir's personal struggles with herself. Overall, it's a solid season that sets up the premise of the next. Although the Titan action, the gore, an…

Attack On Titan Season 2 is a relavitely strong entry in the series that feels like a capture in time to connect seasons 1 and 3, blitzing past with 12 total episodes ranging from pointless dawdling to breathtaking plot twists. This season is vaguely seperated into two halfs, the latter being much more enganging than the first. With a story-defining 'revision' of certain characters' intentions, and the growing turmoil within the walls, as well as danger elavating from outside the walls, it's a somewhat incosistent season, yet a captivating one that builds effectively from the first.
To begin with the negatives, I feel that the opening episodes of the season were a slog to get through, it dwelt on the previous season finale for too long before it finally reached its own mome…

It's a great season, but not as incredible as many say.
It is the shortest season and the one that makes the most use of the characters' narrative; it has only one narrative arc, which is the unexpected invasion of the Titans. The themes of desperation and war are further exploited, showing how humanity can be jeopardized with just one unexpected move, and it especially leaves many questions unanswered. Where do the Titans really come from? What is the home mentioned by the Armored and Colossal Titans? What is the Beast Titan? And, of course, the most relevant question: the mystery surrounding the Blood of the King? The animation also improves considerably and is noticeable from episode one, and the progression is fast; there is only one filler episode that abruptly shortens the pace.

The season that truly blows the minds of viewers in Attack on Titan.
Attack on Titan Season 2 is, for me, the true turning point of the series. Up until then, Attack on Titan was already an anime with a strong, different, and well-executed premise. But this is where everything changes. It's no longer just about surviving against titans; it's about mystery, revelations, and a narrative that begins to delve into a much more ambitious way.
This season was the moment my relationship with the series completely changed. Before, I saw it as a very good anime with interesting ideas. After it, I began to see it as something much bigger: a carefully constructed story, full of clues, twists, and narrative decisions that completely change how you interpret everything you've seen.
And the plot twist…

This is honestly one of the most emotionally overwhelming anime I’ve ever watched. From the very beginning, it hits you with this heavy, powerful atmosphere that never really lets go. I was probably the most emotional watching this compared to anything else. Every twist, every loss, every reveal felt like a punch straight to the heart. There were moments where I just had to pause because the emotions were too much, yet I still couldn’t stop watching. What makes it so incredible is how perfectly everything fits together: the storytelling, the world‑building, the characters, the music, the tension. It’s dark, intense, and heartbreaking, but also unbelievably captivating. Even when it hurt, I loved every second of it. For me, Attack on Titan is a true masterpiece. The kind of series that stay…

The Second season for Attack on titan,
An incredibly faithful sequel to the manga and one of the best seasons..
The way the story and horror is presented is changed slightly, now instead of it immediately being on your face it's inside your face, it's creepy and uncomfortable,
It's also the season where alot of plot twists happen so be ready for that.
Visually it remains absolutely the same albeit with a few changes... it focuses on dialogue and tension rather than constant action, the warmer tone also gets toned down a bit during the night scenes and rather the night scenes are more bluer than s1 where they were extremely dark.
The Pacing of the episodes is pretty much the same as s1 except its more tighter but still it's beautiful, just makes you want to watch the next one more and mo…

I honestly did not plan this but I ended up starting Attack on Titan Season 2 in the morning and finishing the entire thing by evening. That alone should tell you how crazy this anime made me. After Season 1 I could not sleep because my mind kept running in circles thinking about the walls the titans the mysteries everything. So the moment I woke up I jumped straight into Season 2.
And wow I do not even know where to begin.
Season 2 felt like someone picked up the entire story I thought I understood and threw it into the sky. Every episode hit me with something unexpected. The truth about the titans not just being mindless monsters but humans themselves was something I almost refused to believe. The reveal of the colossal titan and armored titan was so sudden that my brain took a second…

Note, I'm late posting this review as I was new to MAL and wasn't aware we could review. I'm just going to come out and say it. I'm in my mid 30s and never seen anime before. It was just something I never got into. Then my gf at the time kept talking about AOT and I got interested. Though, she didn't give spoilers, so I went into it thinking "titans" were robots. Boy, I was wrong. Being new to anime entirely, I was weirded out and unsure, but I was intrigued and stuck with it.
I'm glad I did, because AOT (first 2 seasons, anyway) was such an amazing show. I ended up getting more into it than I planned, to the point where I bought some AOT merch. Season 1 and 2 Eren was an amazing character, but damn did it piss me off that the writer was an asshole when it came to Eren and Mikasa. I'm hea…

Waited for 21 days for this to arrive on Blu-ray after really liking Season 1.
Yeah, I guess it was pretty worth it.
The first two episodes were actually quite shocking, especially the scene at the end of episode 1. It really set the tone well.
But anyway, the 6th episode… damn.
I had the twist in episode 6 already spoiled to me but it was so well done that I didn’t mind. It was an absolutely perfect scene. The 9.8 rating on IMDb was… interesting, and it lived up to my expectations.
The rest of the season was also very good yes, especially the last episode, but episode 6 really was just unforgettable.

I will keep it short. I don't know how the people felt when it was coming live every few days, but now that this series is over and I am binge watching, it's being quite suspenful and building various disconnected stories. I am liking it no less and it's still the greatest ever masterpiece of a story like its predecessor.
Although the previous season was a perfect 10 of emotions, drama, anxiety, blood and action, I gave this season a 9/10 as the stories are taking a certain turn , which am not liking. It's like the early seasons of game of thrones where the story of white walkers, which in later seasons turned out to be biggest threat to humanity, was given very less importance and thought . While the crown politics and power struggle was given a much major role, like 5 stories of politi…

The sequel certainly builds upon season 1. With surprisingly high, but still a marginal amount of questions answered.
The plot itself follows a semi-non-chronological order (namely parallel storytelling) but remains easy to follow, thanks to the coherence it holds throughout. The events are fairly intriguing and advance the story at a relatively well-maintained pace.
The characters do not develop much, but stay true to the traits established in season 1.
The worldbuilding, a significant problem in season 1, received a substantial upgrade. It not only answered some questions but also attempted to fill in plot holes. Several questionable decisions were reconsidered and, while still problematic, were at least given a rationale.
The biggest virtue of the season is undoubtedly its portrayal…

If you read my first review of the first season you should already know that Ima highly recommend this to anybody breathing. If you stopped watching attack on titan after the first season you frustrate me. That being said this season to me was just about the same, but slightly better in different aspects. You just have a lot of new information to go off of. Your no longer completely lost like how you would be starting the first season, now its just slightly lost. As always favorite characters are Levi and Mikasa hands down. I feel like I could give some of these AOT seasons a 10 out of 10 if it wasn't for Eren. For Eren to be the MC I feel like he's a waste of space in every season except for like the last one. One of my favorite attack on titan seasons though I highly recommend.

2nd season of Attack on Titan, one of the best in the anime and one of my favorites. It's very interesting to see that the entire development of the anime (from the first to the last season) it was very well planned, although I didn't find the fact that the protagonist needed to die for the entire outcome of the anime to be completed at all pleasant, even so, he delivered exactly what he needed to deliver and managed to impact many fans. We can't help but mention the fact that Zeke's completely irritating entry into the anime was also quite impactful, especially because he was responsible for that entire war within the walls and then we discover that in fact the one who was always controlling everything behind the curtains was our "beloved" protagonist Eren Yeager.

My god what a snoozefest.
The first season of this show was overrated enough but the fact that this season is almost in the top 100 highest rated anime of all time is hilarious. Eren's whining is as insufferable as ever, the few cool characters like Mikasa and Levi don't get enough screentime and scenes feel severely dragged out. Nevermind that, the show expects you to care about characters that haven't been fleshed out which is the greatest sin of all.
I might force myself to watch season 3 since people hype it up so much but man I'm begging AoT fans to watch their 2nd anime.

Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2
Took me a period to finished this hahahaaa, but damn this was a good watch. I am going to give a 8.25 honest rating for this.
In terms of story, of course this anime continues the story from the previous season. With a twist and mystery that makes the story more interesting. The plot hole given also had a better impression than the previous season which was expected to be explained in the stories of the following seasons. In terms of characterization, somehow the interaction between the characters feels stiff and not free. With an outpouring of emotions that are not clearly aimed at what other than showing off good visuals. Sometimes the emotions shown are not felt until the audience and only make the audience confused.
For the execution of the design, nothing…

(I have added all seasons to my personal anime list, and each season will get the same review from me, so I apologize if you have seen this more than once or are about to see this more than once.) When watching a lot of other anime as a new watcher, I had a really hard time getting into a lot of them because for me it was so incredibly easy to predict the plot. For some reason I was always able to tell just how an anime was going to end or in which direction it was headed. That was not the case for this show. Every plot twist caught me almost completely off guard. All questions that got answered as the series lead on only lead to more questions that sucked me even deeper into the show. Every aspect of this story was extremely well written from the very beginning to the very end.
Going al…

So here I am rewatching the series from the start again and after knowing the whole plot it’s great to see how well the characters are being developed. AOT's first season had a huge cast of characters, and it balanced them well, this time the characters have been reduced to half the size, but the side characters get more development.
Plot:
The show’s plot moves more slowly this time, there aren’t many huge, bloody fights as compared to the first season. This time the show works on side characters like Connie, Krista, Ymir, Reiner, Bredholt. The show is also said to have one of the best villains reveals in all of anime and I agree with the, the animation, music and voice acting done in that scene is perfect. The side- side characters are reduced in number this time as well. I feel there we…

The first season of Attack on Titan presented a unique world, which was unfortunately put on the back burner putting emphasis on action scenes. The second season's got a chance to elaborate on the world and the characters. In practice, it is just more of the same with some polishing. The most notable difference is sprinkled elements of black comedy. The characters in the first season were usually dying in pretty gruesome way, this season, in contrast, uses timings to make every death look ridiculous.
Surprisingly enough, the second season barely mentions any characters that were in the spotlight in the previous season. This arc is mainly focused around Ymir, Krista, and a couple of other characters. Eren also continues play a significant role and after the development he's got at the end…
