Quick note, the first few episodes are split into a bunch of different segments (like Kaguya) but that's mostly being done to introduce us to the characters, some people obviously won't be a fan of this but you're genuinely missing out if you skip this gem of an isekai.
With that said here are some few reasons to watch this anime (very minor spoiler alert):
‣ Nepo cleric joins the hero's party, female wizard drugs him to get some hero alone-time and turned out cleric was faking it the whole time and livestreams the whole thing out of pure spite for pretty people
‣ An arc about finding an old man's dismembered dick would literally be one of the best arc in isekai's history
‣ Grandpa Wizard deep throat a mushroom while a female knight says no fair and waiting for her turn
‣ Old King be…

Usually when I do reviews, I like to talk about the characters and story of a show, kissing upon the border of spoilers while still remaining in the safe zone. I like to tell people about the characters personalities, and loose gist of the story as I find those to be the most interesting inside other reviews. I want to know what kind of people they are and whether or not I should waste 6 hours on the story following them.
Handyman Saitou is a unique case where there isn't any story and the characters are at best shallow in their characterization and at worst serve no purpose.
Other reviews on here have charitably rated this show higher than a 2, don't get the impression that it is anything more than that dear reader. This show is mostly vignettes with maybe 5 episodes being story arcs…

Very enjoyable when it's not trying too hard to be dramatic.
We follow a loveable jack-of-all-trades with no particular combat ability who has been isekai'd into a world of sword and sorcery. His appraisal, lockpicking, and repair skills end up making him popular with the townspeople and invaluable to his party as their thief/rogue. Handyman Saito satirizes its genre's tropes almost as well as that other, more famous isekai send-up we're all familiar with. At one point Saito learns about how this show's wonderful world is changing due to an increasing number of women in the workplace, stagnant wages for adventurers, and greater life expectancy putting strain on caregivers.
We start out getting these seemingly disjointed sketches that introduce us to the main protagonists, the other adven…

The leading opinion appears to be that this anime has a slow start, then picks up at the end. I actually feel the opposite way. Essentially, this anime starts out as a mostly episodic, fragmented, character comedy, along the lines of Saiki K. As the episodes progress, an overarching plot develops and becomes the main focus, with the comedy of the character interactions fading more into the background. I really like the character comedy parts; while the cast is nothing super special, their interactions always lead to interesting moments, and the fragmented format ensures the jokes don't overstay their welcome. But the overarching plot that later develops feels more like any other isekai story. It feels a bit forced, as if the conventions of the isekai genre made it obligatory to include suc…

TLDR: Satisfying, Funny and Wholesome
Definitely recommend overall, in some ways especially initially it's very disorienting and the order and pacing are weird, but you also notice production quality and nice little "flairs" though that's also part of it's weakness, I think it's core is very basic/mediocre but it has been "enhanced" with all sort of spices/decorations/flair. But I felt like even it's initially weak core, got better over time so I do want to give it at least an 8 even if at it's core it's maybe a 6 or 7, the "Style" really adds bonus points. On top of that of course I also count things like Comedy and such.
Although the MC isn't specifically relatable to me, he does remind me a lot of my dad. Everything Saitou can do, my dad can do as well and he's very similar when it co…

This show is a bit of a mixed bag, structurally. It effectively composes the best aspect of segmented slice-of-life comedy anime like Nichijou and Azumanga with the specific Isekai handyman premise of the namesake. The season may feel disjoined or unmotivated at first, but by the end of the first episode the series begins to catch its stride. There is a more focused plot thread that takes up the majority of the season, but it takes two episodes before we begin to see the show follow this thread. For that reason, it is a hard recommendation despite the quality of the show. There are plenty of funny jokes such as the unit of measurement, in which context is key for the punchline. The show manages to effectively convey these little tidbits of the world in such a way that it feels believable.…

This anime is about a handyman named Saito that gets isekai’d into a fantasy world. The first few episodes are about him using his skills as a handyman from Earth to help a party out as they explore a dungeon, mainly through picking locks. However, the handyman per se aspect significantly decreases in importance after that, though it does still pop up from time to time. Instead the story is more so about any normal guy from Earth without any of the skills that people of the fantasy world generally have trying to come up with ways to be helpful, which I suppose still embodies the spirit of a handyman in a way. Overall I found the latter more interesting than the former, as the writing doesn’t really do anything all that interesting with his actual handyman skills.
It was enjoyable watching…

Great Anime with its twelve episodes: P .
Correct storytelling, which was not exaggerated like in most isekai.
We got a main character who was not made into a god, he rather lives the adventure of a supporting character, and loves what he does. I also liked when he helped Morok with his spells!
I liked the romance, I liked the characters, the team and the animation were also great, but even then Morok took the show in front of everyone :D . I laugh until I cry at his stupidity. :P
Honestly, I can't say anything bad about the series! It's a comedy, but it still has its dramatic moments from time to time, with which you can easily have fun for 20 minutes.
If anyone is looking for a good isekai, then watch this.
8/10 and if there is a sequel and the quality remains the same, or even get…

A Handy man got Isekaied and now he's the party Rogue.
Both the idea and characters are rather cute. I like that MC-kun doesn't go from zero to OP in the blink of an eye. Instead he just uses the same skills he had in a different setting while the other party members cover his flanks so to speak.
Oddly enough the one to shine in this show was one of the side characters, Morlock the senile mage.
My one critic is that around the midway point the sound is... odd. There is a high pitched sound in the background of the major fight scene that gave me such a headache. I honestly though I had tinnitus and paused the show a few time to check.
Aside from that the show was cute and charming if a little basic. Overall a pleasant quick watch.

Handyman Saitou in Another World is an isekai that tried to be different from the usual "generic" stuff you'd expect from the genre but did it in a rather unique and out of the box way. My short reccomendation is, if you like slice of life mixed with comedy or character focused anime with a bit of comedy, or have watched and liked animes like Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Slime Diaries, or Encouragement of Climb this anime is probably for you.
First let's hits things off with those FLAWS, you've gotta negative sometimes right? Jk. Let's start with the story and plot, because on the whole it's pretty simple and barebones. It's basically Saitou who worked as a handyman ends up in another world, and joins a party of eccentric adventuring individuals to be…

Do you enjoy extremely boring and bland anime? Well, this one is for you, this anime was created as an experiment by its mangaka, to see if he can truly hit that fine balance of extreme blandness and man, did he achieve it! This anime may as well be the finest of all bland ones out there, it has no drama, it has no conflict, nothing stands out but shockingly there is nothing bad about it either. Its the kind of anime you put on as noise in the background while making dinner and because its pure vanilla, you somehow did not miss a thing!

“What the fuck” the Anime
Rating 8/10 maderakas
I watched one episode of this anime and immediately added it to my ‘chill vibes’ folder. It seemed like a good anime to have on in the background, with anthologies telling multiple stories and no rush for a big plot
HOLY SHIT this anime takes a turn. If you think you can guess an episodes plot, you’ll be wrong. It’s funny at times, gory at times, sometimes sad and others with fan service. It crashes all the storylines together in the middle of the season and proves that nothing was just there for no reason. I genuinely thought characters would die at points.
Story 7/10
I enjoyed this anime a lot, but it’s not what it seems. It’s weird and disjointed and then everything is happening all at once, but it’s good. The last episode is hilarious…

My expectation was low starting the show. I was just trying a few relaxed Anime. But it was actually pretty good.
I feel like those who had too much expectation are the ones disappointed in the Anime.
You can't expect every anime to be the serious story type. Sometimes you need a refresher of some sort.
This Anime Started as a simple anime but soon as i got to know the charter's i liked it better.(Though some characters are annoying)
But the ending doesn't leve you with any empty feelings. Only for 12 episode you get alot of enjoyment.
This isn't your like great Anime. But one that's pretty good.
So watch it when you're bored and want something refreshing.

I really wanted to like this anime. I really, really did. But as the series went on my opinion on Handyman Saitou in Another World drifted from a tentative Recommended, past a confused Mixed Feelings, all the way down to a solid and disappointed Not Recommended.
The viewer gets dropped into this world without context or background information. From the way events progress it’s also clear that this doesn’t matter – you’re just along for the ride. Things will make more sense as the series progresses, but you have to get there first.
So the series has a unique plot pacing and episode set-up. Each episode consists of several mini-episodes, some of which are connected in an arc of sorts, while others are just loose pieces. While refreshing, this also made it very difficult for me to get into…

Not without its flaws, but overall this is a recommended watch for Isekai, comedy or slice of life fans. If you're not an Isekai fan I'm not sure this does enough to convert you in all honesty.
Warning going in, this is a skit-heavy show, constantly jumping backwards and forwards between characters. Early on this is severe, and while it improves it never goes away. If that isn't for you skip this show.
Pro's
- The main cast are great, they're a really solid team who bounce off eachother well. They're designed in such a way that the show can go from humour to drama very quickly and it gets away with it. When this focuses on the main cast, that is.
- It's pretty and well animated, by my (admittedly low) standards
- The comedy is varied and really well written, it's funny and covers many di…

Hey folks, this will be my review for Benriya Saitou-san, Isekai ni Iku. It's a really solid show that surprised me a little.
The first four or so episodes contain a series of shorts that follow the main character and his party and a few other side characters to introduce them and the world. I actually rather liked that bit of the show and was disappointed that eventually the episodes became full episodes that had a plot and purpose. The plot as it unfolded actually had a lot of well written moments in them, and though the show is incredibly silly and low stakes for the most part, the drama that unfolds brings with it investment that you would otherwise not get in a more slice of life type of show that it originally seemed to be. Still since the show seems to want to be cozy and slice of…

Watched it in one day, really enjoyed it. This anime has a fitting short story format, besides the 2-3 larger arcs being fully connected. The anime has a very fun group of 4 along with several comrades and acquaintances chiming in occasionally. Saito is a simple isekai character who does his best to be useful, and as a handyman with his tools from Earth, he is really damn good at being handy in a fantasy sword/armor/magic setting. Saito is a really satisfying protagonist in all cases despite having no combat talent, as his brains and assistance to the team are more than essential. In the end, he is often the one who shines brightest.
The art style of the show is consistently fine, the plot is enjoyable, and the humor of the show is fun with a balance between mature and immature(often dirt…

An ordinary working-class man from earth is whisked away into a fantasy world where magic and extraordinary creatures exist. It is in this new world that this ordinary man discovers just how extraordinary he is to his newly made companions.
This is another isekai fantasy with a comedic undertone, as well as a context and thematic message that does qualify it has having a justification for being an isekai over just being a regular fantasy show. The nature of the show is somewhat erratic; for a significant amount of time the show is broken up into episodic "shorts" that feature some kind of short story. These are done well enough and a series could have been made off of these alone, but they become a tad jarring when an overarching narrative and story begin to develop and effectively take o…

If you're tired of the overpowered MC trope or maybe hate MC's who are weak, wimpy, and make the most irrational decisions for god knows why, Then this is the show you're looking for. The MC of this show is just a normal guy with a normal job that happens to get transported in another world and he is by no means OP, However he is without a doubt the most reliable guy you could depend upon because he is a handyman and his skills in the fantasy world is something outstanding because he could quite literally do most stuff with his skills like picking locks, opening treasure chests, make armor renovations, make some useful necessities, memorize the incantations of magic so that their mage can cast magic because he forgets it every time, give support in battles, etc. Bro is literally a CHAD, An…

Genre- Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Isekai
