I am being generous with the points: I did not enjoy this anime overall, but the individual musical numbers with each love interest expressing creepy vibes were somehow the most entertaining part. I went cold turkey into this with no prior knowledge and the baffling musical numbers just kept me hanging on until I could see how this dumpster fire ends. The pilot sets up a really intriguing mystery and the female lead actually has a personality and reasonable reactions to the sketchiness of the love interests, and then both of those things plummet the moment that episode ends. This anime does also suffer from a "it's technically not incest" love interest.

This has to be one of the most atrocious series I've ever watched.
Like "Devils Line", for whatever reason, the ending completely retcons and makes pointless everything that had happened in the plot leading up to it. This, by the way, is assuming that we are choosing to be generous in calling the writing of this show a "plot". The "lore" is confusing, the characters have barely a single layer of consistency to them, the dialogue is forgettable when not awful, and the anime seems to regularly forget what had happened only one episode prior. Please do not even get me STARTED with the characters. Not a single character has more dimension to them than a sheet of printer paper, and the main character herself has to be one of the most stupid and amnesiac protagonists I've ever had the displeasu…

This is one of those anime that completely pulls you in with its plot, even if it occasionally tests your patience xD. The story is dramatic, mysterious, and full of supernatural tension and despite the moments where the sudden singing made me want to scream into a pillow, I still ended up enjoying it a lot. Not all the songs were bad, but some of them definitely had me questioning my life choices xD. What really surprised me was how emotional the whole thing became. It’s packed with tension, laughter, and sadness, and by the end I was honestly shocked I didn’t cry when the main character made that decision :’). It hits harder than you expect, especially after getting attached to the characters and their chaotic relationships. Overall, it’s a dramatic, stylish, slightly unhinged supernatur…

2 stars only bc Mage and Shiki are goated. MC was genuinely so unlikable, Rem was boring, Lindo (Secondary love interest) is MCs cousin, and I genuinely did not gaf abt Ritsukos mom or Azuna. The plot was so boring and I found myself not caring at the literal climax of the story and everything the love interests said was predictable. Shiki x Mage on top, I wish Mage was a butch lesbian. Uh idk what else to say abt this but I still wanted to write a review so rewatching this wasnt a complete waste of time. Watch a different reverse harem unless you like to suffer, ngl some parts were ironically enjoyable like when the characters belt into song at random times in the episodes, or when MC screams like Raku chan from kawaii neko sugar girls.

It was mediocre at best and annoying at worst ... with just the idea of incest.
~ Please forgive any spelling errors. English is not my native language.
I've seen worse reverse harem anime. But that doesn't mean this anime is good.
The animation was good enough and the character design was ok, even if some of the outfits were...well, interesting.
The songs in between weren't all bad. But mostly I found that the songs were firstly: "not necessary" (everything in the songs could have been easily explained) and secondly: "not necessarily good".
As in many reverse harem anime, the female protagonist was a great blur.
You learn relatively little about the "cute boys" who are (romantically) interested in our "heroine" for reasons I don't fully understand.
And I won't even touch Lindo.

You must watch this with English dub! Its like watching ghost Story all over again!! Its hilarious!!!
So let me just break it down to you:
Intro and outtro was nice. Catchy and I enjoyed it!
Animations and drawing style was good. I liked it all! Specially the way they added all the special effects!
I watched it with dub, which made all their songs and singing/duets horrible translated. Which made it ten times more fun. It was like watching ghost Story English dubbed all over again haha :D
Story here is where it get a little bumpy. I really enjoyed the concept and the story of the anime..and to some degree i actually liked the ending outside the castle. (Not saying anymore to prevent spoiling) what i did not like was what happen after that. Im unsure if they were debating of making a se…

This anime isn’t made to be enjoyed seriously. It cannot be, I laughed way too much in some scenes. So in my review I consider this as a parody like anime
Story
Nothing great but nothing bad too. The pacing is very inconsistent, sometimes an episode flies off and sometimes it feels like it’s an hour long episode. As far as the story and plot go, it’s nice, it’s a dark fantasy romance with some twists and sentimental tension. We have the typical love triangle, forbidden love and family member messing in because he’s scared for his lil sister. I really don’t see major plot problem nor pacing problems
Art
It’s just really pretty. I’m kinda biased since I like a lot the artist’s style but it’s well animated. Honestly apart from some moments like in every anime, it was good
Sound
It’s both a…

spoiler warning, there are spoilers throughout this review:
When I first started watching this, I accepted my fate entirely. I knew without a doubt how ridiculous and dramatic the show would inevitably be. And it definitely met my expectations. From the sado-masochist emo boy, to the objectified ariana-grande style dressed himbo, the effeminate guy who sweeps his predatory behavior underneath the pretense of being a “flirt” and of course the tall, brooding, suppressed blond who’s won the game before it has even begun. This harem anime presented everything I was looking for and every type of man I could lust over without the guilt of them being real human beings I’d be subject to my own depraved thoughts. Except there was one more love interest that came so out of left-field, that I was di…

This is my first review so excuse me if it's bad. I just needed to, after watching this show.
This is your warning to click away and watch something worth the time. But if you're into shows that leave everything to be desired, then by all means, watch this.
I was looking for a good reverse harem show when I stumbled upon this recommendation. The whole musical aspect was a little bit of a turn off for me but none the less I decided to give it a go.
To start off I'd like to say the most enjoyable thing about this show was the art, but that's just about as much as I can say. There was little to no story besides everyone chasing after some magical book so they could rule the world.
Being pinned as a romance, you'd at least expect some type of build up with the MC's but you won't get th…

(NO SPOLIERS) I have given overall a rating of 5. I am having a hard time rating this anime though, because honestly it is not good. The characters are poorly developed, the singing parts seemed to come out of nowhere at times, I felt as if there was not much closure at the end, and really the plot is not anything note worthy. Despite all that, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It made me laugh, I was invested, and I have watched it twice. The thing is, I could not tell you why I enjoyed it so much, so honestly if you have not seen it, give it a go. I am still giving this an overall average score, because as much as I loved it, from an anime standpoint it was not anything that would or should stand out too much, and does not have the qualities that GOOD anime has. Keep in mind, I really enjoy typic…

Dance with Devils is a self-indulgent reverse harem with attractive devils and vampires trying to capture the heart of a relatively plain heroine due to her connection with a powerful force. It's also a musical!
The musical aspect of the anime is its strongest asset. The characters would sing out of nowhere, along with some epic music video segments to express how the singer feels. The songs themselves are catchy and suit the tone of the story. The male characters mostly stick to archetypes, but they are likeable enough to let that slide. Furthermore, the reasons why they attempt to swoon Ritsuka actually makes sense and far beyond "The heroine inspires them" or something.
Ritsuka Tachibana is the main heroine of the story and she's not that bad. She's average, but compared to her compet…

I watched this to humor a friend. Don't do that.
If you are not taken in by the music or the character designs then there is absolutely nothing for you here. Even those two elements, which seem the most important aspects of the show, are woefully underdeveloped. Songs are roughly a minute and a half long and display no synergy whatsoever with the emotional beats of the story (of which there are few to none). The lyrics have no flow or literary value and are flat descriptions of the actions occurring on screen. I have already forgotten what any of it sounds like.
The main character is a cardboard airhead who is the most standard peace loving and hopelessly clueless shojo protagionist with self esteem issues you can imagine, and three of the five harem boys are deplorable rapey psychopaths…

THIS ANIME IS SO MEDIOCRE that you cannot call it bad, but it's really hard to say it's good either.
Everything about "Dance with Devils" is extremely predictable, which is why it's hard to enjoy it to the fullest. Seriously, I could tell what would happen in episodes 9 to 11 already after watching the 1st and 2nd episodes. There is some suspense, but it looks rather like a miserable attempt to create one. And it is not only the plot, but the characters too - not boring (mostly), but with plain, moderate personalities. They aren't original, so you could easily find a game or an anime with each of those personalities worked through much better than here.
The only thing that really stands out is the musical part. Although it stood out to me merely because it was utterly hilarious. As soon…

I actually loved watching this so much. It's the kind of dreadful that is also hilarious.
I didn't know much at all about this anime as I went in and when a character started singing I assumed it was the opening theme and thought, oooh, that's clever, woven into the story. But no. It's the whole anime. It's a goth anime musical. Everyone even gets their own character song.
If you have a sense of humour, just try it. I don't think you'll enjoy the story but I do think you'll enjoy the characters songs and plunging into weird abstract music video montages.

♪A dance with devils, Sure they are evil, But at least there are some musical upheaval♪
Dance with Devils looks like like your typical reverse harem, yet with some flair and some cliches utilized well, Dance with Devils isn't your typical reverse harem anime and here's why.
Dance with Devils' flourishes with it's "musical numbers" in every episode and this was the element that got LA intrigued by this anime in the first place and even the aesthetics of this anime make it out like it's a theater play and theater plays being VERY popular in Japan, the fusion of anime and musical was inevitable to say the least. The musical numbers in all aspects helps with the characters in this regard, you know your "I want" song to motivation songs especially from the harem in question. But yeah the musi…

If you have a huge thing for Disney movies and sing alongs this is the anime for you! I've never been one for sing alongs but this anime really put me in the mood to sign with the main character.
I went into this anime with no expectations. I saw that it had to do with vampires and I was like "Ok!" Thats not at all what this anime is about.
I never thought that a Disney like anime with singing vampires would be such a turn on to my mind but its kind of odd what this has done for me. I can say without any doubt having watched this anime has given me a new meaning to the phrase "Polishing The Sword."
I hope that if you walk into this anime as blind as I did that you find some sort of love in Disney productions such as this one.
i would say this was an absolute train wreck. Though ther…

When I started watching Dance With Devils it was because I saw good reviews for the anime from several Youtubers. What I found was literally a fetish-based, no-story crap compilation with the emotional depth of my sink. No, that's an insult to my sink as it has much more emotional complexity than the character in this show.
Story & Characters: The story goes by the premise that there exist a book of powerful magic, with no back story or explanation, that gives absolute control of the world to those that get it. Vampires and demons/devils are fighting over it and trying to find it by hounding a family that seems to be connected to it somehow. What follows is a show where our weak willed heroine gets chased and seduced by devils saying "Fall in love with me!", "You're mine" or "Give yourself…

Well this anime is a mess. A complete mess that I really loved. Why?
At first I thought it's cringy. And it is. From the beginning to the end. The story is strange and it doesn't really makes sense. However it slowly unfolds and makes it quite interesting to watch. To be honest it's just a simple harem story without any deep meanings but who cares when you have those lovable, unique characters? I know it's not that moving, serious anime but I enjoyed it and after years I still wish to see more animes like this. The tipical, gripping dark concept, the lovable, unique, interesting, sympathic characters, the absolutely great voice acting... I loved it all. Even the random songs each character sang. Some of them were actually pretty good...
I recommend this anime for those who love interesting…

I give this a 9 out of 10 because i've seen my fair share of reverse harems, usually the supernatural ones, have all abusive relationships with the lead, even with the love interest literally being devils, still treat the main better then half the reverse harems i've seen.Eye peeling artwork, and more important the one thing every reverse harem is missing.
Singing anime boys, best part the in the dub the singing is still subbed, no dubbed awkward singing.Lastly, although there are still troupes in this harem, it does beat quite a few.
1. Main girl actually has another female friend
2.Main girl has parent(s), and family
3.She isn't living with the guys
4.She picks one at the end
5.She shows emotion and personality
6.It's not a happy ending,

Absolute trash! I loved it for this reason.
I mean, it's always the same story about a nice shy girl who is surrounded by beautiful guys BUT it's a musical. A musical with trash songs. I didn't know whether to laugh or drop the anime. It's pure japanese trash. These songs are really catchy, I still listen to them every now and then.
This is not an anime for those who search a deep show which deals with important and fundamental themes. This is PURE funny trash.
If we exclude the ending... I cried a little bit at the end
