Eiken is decidedly not for everyone. Every minute is filled with impossibly bouncy, hyperactive breasts that are to the average person grotesquely huge. It's devoid of plot and meaning. It exists only to barrage you with imagery of massive boobs, lewd scenarios and accidental sexual assaults. This anime perplexes even the most horny and shameless of ecchi fans. Even the most contentedly low-brow, ecchi loving degenerates who're satisfied by zero plot, so long as theres nipples and panties, struggle to find appeal in this show. Why? Because Eiken relies on the viewer being a breast fetishist. So, unless you possess an intense attraction to breasts, particularly ones that are huge and free from the laws of physics, you will not be able to find much appeal in Eiken.
Now, before I praise Eike…

Some people will scoff at a series, saying it's too gratuitous with its fanservice. I can almost guarantee that whatever anime makes them say so is lightweight compared to Eiken. I'm about as far from a "where are her organs" guy as you can get, but even this had me stunned. Even in ecchi series that were clearly made for the sake of fanservice, I've never seen proportions this utterly (pun intended) insane. Though I'd say it fails even as an ecchi, as the fanservice is way more absurd than titillating.
This is not good. By any stretch of the imagination. But I'd still recommend giving it a watch just for the absurdity of it. Whether or not you enjoy it, you're at least likely to remember it.

Eiken got and still gets flak for its weak plot and unrealistic character designs. But since then with animes like Dragon Maid that are just as, if not more, unrealistic and yet still beloved it becomes clear that Eiken was hated for being the first, the innovator. Eiken took the blame for all ecchi shows that followed and I think the time has come to re-evaluate.
Whoever read the original manga can attest to it being very, very different. While the manga is a run-of-the-mill rom com with gigantic breasts as its gimmick of sort, this OVA is a satire. It has a totally different storyline and it doesn't take itself serious one bit. In nearly every second of it you'll notice at least one not-so-subtle innuendo, and the plot that is there directly mocks itself at times. If you need a decent p…

This anime is like approaching the event horizon. This is the sort of shit they're showing to astronauts at NASA to keep them cool on missions. A friend brought this to a "bad anime night" and it completely killed the mood. Watching it became an endurance test, even though it's only an hour long. "Watching this took color out of the world," we said. This is worse than pornography. If I caught my child watching a hentai, I would scold them; if I caught them watching this, I would sent them to therapy. Maybe some youtuber you watched called this "bad," "awful," "irredeemable," and you got curious and decided to watch it. Nothing I have said will dissuade you from your course, but perhaps you can be convinced to strap yourself in, lest you injure yourself in your thrashing.

Eiken is certainly a product of its time—but that’s not a compliment. As someone who enjoys ecchi anime, I’ve come to accept and even appreciate fan-service when it's done with charm, humor, or at least some creativity. But Eiken is something else entirely. This OVA doesn’t flirt with the line of good taste—it drowns in the deep end of degeneracy and doesn’t even pretend to have a story. It’s the most excessive, over-the-top, and frankly uncomfortable ecchi anime I’ve ever sat through.
Despite having no full-on nudity, this anime manages to feel more pornographic than actual hentai. It’s like watching softcore smut with the sex scenes edited out—and I honestly believe the show might have been better if it just committed to being hentai outright.
The “story” follows your classic bland mal…

Perfect for what is trying to be n_n
Eiken was the first anime in showing BIG BREASTS.
This series literally created the Bakunyuu genre of anime and manga.
This was a first, a pioneer.
The story is bad, and that's good, the characters are very basic but with well defined personalities
I'm pretty sure A LOT of people hate this anime because it is pure fetish and noting more, but that's exactly what the show is about. Don't try to watch this for the story or the characters, because what this anime wanted to show was BIG BOOBS, and it does it very good n_n
This is an anime for lovers of HUGE BOOBS that just want to turn off their brain and enjoy some senless ecchi scenes.

I decided to give this a watch on Tubi because anyone familiar with Anime is bound to see bits and pieces of this scattered on the internet. It was particularly notorious when it came out (I WONDER WHY) but it hasn't really hung around in the public conscious. I guess you can say my curiosity was peaked, and now I can comfortably say that I am dedicating the rest of my life to killing whatever part of me that was curious in seeing this. Holy shit. What the fuck?
This has got to be some sort of Pandora's box of pure depravity and in a just world it sits on the shelf somewhere between Salò and A Serbian Film. It's like all the perverts in Japan got together and brainstormed every single screwed up thing they could get away with on television. This would literally be impossible to make in an…

At my job as a cashier I sometimes use the downtime to watch the junkies and alcoholics that hang outside the church across the street, and sometimes I ponder how the manage to gather the money to fund their frequent trip to my store to buy cigarettes and alcohol only to get distracted by a neurotic woman that wants to buy a pregnancy test. But anyway, the other times I use to reflect opon the finest entertainment I've consumed over the years of staring at a computer screen. Needless to say one stands head and shoulders over the rest.

With a colorful cast of characters who's names I almost remember and a plot that rivals the best that cinema has to offer ( yes, even Rats: Nights of Terror ) it's not hard to see that Eiken is a anime that defined a generation.

Did I give Eiken an "ironic" 10/10? Maybe.
Is Eiken the pinnacle of "ecchi" and the insanity of fan service and sexualization in anime? Maybe.
Is Eiken the #1 anime I know will leave my friends absolutely confused? Hell yes.
The flashy, over saturated colors, scenes happening a mile a minute and the assault of voices/sounds is akin to what you might see on YouTube Kids. It is an animated flash bang you can throw at enemies or friends alike.
Does this hold actual, real value as a thoughtful piece of media? No. Just look at the cover for Christ sake.
Who was this made for?

Yeah I can't lie it slapped so hard my cock felt it. I too wouldn't give up shinonome if she had breasts like those. My blind grandmother walked in on me watching this and was thrown off a building by ISIS. Mashallah. Wouldn't actually recommend, Causes meningitis and Multiple Sclerosis due to excessive cunny exposure. This also cured my ADHD by providing such dopamine overload that I am now becoming mifune in real life. I joined my uni's version of the Eiken club and was sued for sexual misdemeanors by all my lecturers and students. I have now started dealing heroine on the side to fund my legal fees.

Pure Degeneracy.
Eiken isn’t an anime. It’s an experience.
Having discovered Eiken in the wild west era of 2007 Youtube there would be times over the years when my ordinary life would be interrupted by a sudden flash of a memory long forgotten of a soft boy harem protagonist accidentally sexually assaulting a pair of Hooters attached to a red-haired high school girl. I’d wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night, arm reaching towards the heavens, panting from a nightmare of a tall, purple-haired high schooler with back-breaking chubby chest cheeks attached to her front, sucking on a presumably chocolate-covered banana on a stick, and I’d ask myself… “Who are you?”
Only now in the year 2022 -current year argument- after casually browsing through a MAL discussion forum called "Mo…

Listen, hear me out. You can watch a garbage fanservice anime any day. You can sit down and see your ordinary boring main character trip and fall and end up face to face with a girl's panties. You can see the main character blush when a girl rubs up against him from behind. But at the end of the day, chances are the show you're watching will be trying to tell a "story". It will be trying to have some kind of "plot", which will distract from all of this.
EIKEN THOUGH? Eiken is so bad, so incomprehensible, so full of garbage... that it's actually super funny? Like, you can enjoy this show BECAUSE of how terrible it is! And that's not something that you can say about the likes of To-Love-Ru or Fullmetal Panic! Eiken is truly on its own level, and that deserves respect.

This is definitely one of those shows that leaves you with a "what the hell did I just watch" feeling. I watched it in dubbed form and it sounded like I was watching an old hentai dub. And hentai it may as well be, because despite technically having no nudity this manages to be up there as one of the more lewd ecchi anime I've watched. There's an intentionally comical level of sexuality on display, and these character designs put anything else you've seen to shame. How I imagine they came to is that there was a pissing contest between the original artist and his editor about how stupid he could make the characters look. He'd come up with another design where the boobs are bigger than the rest of the girl's body combined and editor-san would laugh it off and challenge him to make it look ev…

Trying out a slightly different approach for my reviews. I'm listing the scores for each section now :D I'm glad I stayed up late for this. This is a grotty treat with a flavor that will linger in the back of my mind forever.
Review:
Story/Plot - 1 "basically there's this high school girl except she's got huge boobs. i mean some serious honkers. a real set of badonkers. packin some dobonhonkeros. massive dohoonkabhankoloos. big ol' tonhongerekoogers. Huge bonkhonagahoogs. humongous hungolomghononoloughongous." Cliché's, cliché's, and more cliché's. Some nerdy loser kid with no qualities that make him stand out (even the anime itself points this out lol) enrolls in a school and gets forced to join a club where he is surrounded by hot women and ecchi shenanigans ensue. Hmm where have I heard…

Like an over abundance of innuendos, sex jokes, and incest with god knows how many tropes? No? Well, you’ll LOVE this. In all seriousness, this is bad.
Story 1/10 - I almost didn’t want to rate this one. I don’t know what the story was. The narrative is a mess. Making this in only 2 episodes was a mistake. Everything just feels rushed making me forget what the point of the ova was.
Art 4/10 - Honestly, there’s not much wrong with the animation itself, but this ova is infamous for having most female characters have unnaturally large breasts. Plus, there’s a lot of budget cuts where there’s scenes of where there is no movement or animation is repeated.
Sound 5/10 - The opening theme isn’t bad, but a lot of the background music is okay at best and the dubbed voice acting is terrible. It ei…

I'll keep this review short.
If you haven't watched Eiken, what are you even doing with your life?
Quality: 1/10
Enjoyment: 2/10
Experience: 10/10 [Some extra text because the review was TOO short apparently, but I wanted to keep the essence of the short review intact. This is very interesting to write, and obviously to read as well. How is your day going? Mine is quite shaky as I just finished watching Eiken. Have you heard of that show? It's an experience I'll say. Fun fact: I found it easier (WAY easier) to get through than Eromanga Sensei. For some reason this review is STILL TOO SHORT. Fuck my life]

I've reviewed a lot of bad OVAs this year and it looks like I'm about to add another to the list. Eiken: Eikenbu Yori Ai Wo Komete is an early 2000s OVA from JC Staff that's based off of a manga and appears to be about girls who have had absurd breast implants.
Story:
We open with our protagonist, Whatever, Who Cares, going to school while he thinks about how he picked his school arbitrarily. On his way there, he runs into a girl with massive bosoms and spends about five minutes sitting on her, squeezing her bosoms before he notices he's doing it. And we can already see a lot of the problems with this OVA. Yes, the idea is to make fun of that old romance trope where the protagonist accidentally gropes the heroine and it takes a second before he notices. The problem is that the execution…

I could feel brain cells dying while watching this... I really hate myself sometimes for refusing to drop anything.
Save yourself and avoid this one, unless you idea of a good time is shutting down and watching waaayyyy over sized breasts, flat jokes and a barely there story line with a constantly repeated trope.... constantly repeated trope...... constantly repeated trope...... constantly repeated trope...... constantly repeated trope...... constantly repeated trope...... constantly repeated trope...... should leave you feeling like reading that again and again. OMG how long do you want a review to be about a short anime with almost nothing to say about it

I finally did it. I finally fucking did it. I found my new worst anime. That's right, worse than Anoahana. Worse than Toradora. Worse than Sword For Truth & Dark Cat. Worse than even Green Green & CONCEPTION. Yes you heard me right, WORSE than Conception. How is that possible? I'll fucking tell you right now.
Story: 1/10
So the "story" of this piece of shit is supposed to be a series of game event shows. But that doesn't become apparent until half-way through the first episode. The first half of the first episode is almost nothing but filler with terrible structuring. We start off with blank-slate male MC number 1 grabbing stupidly large breasts because this is an ecchi series, & it wouldn't be a stupid ecchi series without a boob grab now wouldn't it? Then we waste time in one location…
