Where most anime adopt the "Keep it simple stupid" principle, this one tried to be different and it ended up being a total clusterf**k.
𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝟏/𝟏𝟎: A good story is always simple enough to understand and interesting enough to keep you hooked. This is neither of those. The pacing of the story is terrible. The threat doesn't feel like a threat at all. The MC is protected by 5 layers of plot armor. The story itself starts out simple, then they introduce elements for which you need a proper backstory regarding the world, backstory which is provided in a manner that further introduces terms and elements that aren't explained. There's barely anything to look forward to when finishing an episode.
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝟑/𝟏𝟎: Nothing you've never seen before. The anime introduces too man…

Proof that a show won't float on ball👀n-b👀bs alone °5.2° °not nearly good enough & going nowhere° 💯%🔍 minor spoilers only
🅱igger isn't always better. It takes more than a rough outline and some funbags... eh, fun elements, I mean, to make a good show. HITMON has enough good moments to keep a viewer strapped in. It's a rocky road, with lots of potholes and unnecessary mounds to suffer. For every positive there's 1-5 negatives, on average. What this adds up to is a failure to make a cohesive product that one can fully enjoy. It's like buying an obstructed view ticket. We can catch glimpses of good things, but sense cannot be made of it. We mostly see performers indiscriminately traipsing around in tight skimpy outfits, ©leavage forward, in a manner that suggests they've jumped the scri…

Good fights, interesting powers, and great character design. However, if you want to understand what's going on, read the original work first (I don't know if the original material contains context; I haven't read it yet at the time of this review).
Don't expect anything like the Fate series in terms of fighting, but also don't expect it to be the atrocity that Meliodas vs. Escanor was. The battles are unique, and due to the uniqueness of the characters' powers, you won't see the same battle where the only difference is the characters in conflict. Each character has their own unique power and combat style, which you won't see used again by anyone else.
The character designs are creative, and no two characters are identical (except for the witches, as similarity is part…

Story: Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere tells us about a world where the entire earth has become inhabitable with the exception being Japan - whose inhabitants live on a moving ship, Musashi. In order to house the entirety of earth's population, each region is split into different dimensions in space, thus creating more room for each region to reside in. We focus mainly on those in Japan. Namely, the Musashi Ariadust Academy, where we are introduced to a LOT of characters, all at once, including the president of the student council, Toori Aoi. We start out with Toori's class, whose morning exercise is to catch their teacher, Makiko Oriotorai. Each student wields differing abilities and they are free to use them as they please. After this chase has concluded, the real story begins.

Honestly, I don't really understand about the beginning of this story, all I know is that it's set in the future of the earth. Which started the apocalypse in various places (holes or circles that make living things die when they enter).
I don't really understand the details and only know the outline. Because I think it's too long to explain, if you want to know try to watch 1-3 episodes.
I'm just going to criticize the content.
In MAL this anime genre is Action, Sci-Fi, Fantasy. But when watching it, I think it's more than that, there are scenes of Comedy, Mecha, Supernatural, School, Romance and Ecchi. Although the genre I mentioned is not that prominent in the anime, the scene does exist and appears occasionally.
This anime uses heavy words and reasoning, so it is sometimes difficult to…

It is an anime in which many protagonists participate (such as Assassination Classroom or My Hero Academia), but unlike those mentioned, both the plot and the objectives of the characters are quite confusing.
- The protagonist (if he can be considered) is one of the worst I've seen. He adds nothing to the plot except the charismatic role of the group.
- The plot is a bit convoluted. It may be interesting for some, but I did not quite catch the story line.
- Only a few of the many interacting characters are interesting and relevant to the plot.
In short, it is an anime that I do NOT recommend if you are looking for entertainment in general.

This is about a boy who wants to save a single girl with the power of determination and friendship. Sounds simple enough? Why not overdecorate it with a lot of other stuff into the settings like:
-humans, non-humans, humanoids etc
-all mythical, biblical, and historical references.
-post apocalyptic sci-fi world with a chance of the world (ending again?)
For this reason, this is definitely not the kind of anime you can watch while doing something else.... unless you are into the fan service which is also nice as well.
There is also mecha-fighting involved to which the production studio (Sunrise) shows their mastery of the choreography animation. With the combination of good voice acting and music quality, you can say that the production quality is actually really good. This is probably…

"The anime of comprehension and interpretation." - Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon ( Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere ). One of the big talks back in 2011 when I, an individual who wasn't really into anime back in those days even knew about its existence.
To like this anime you must initially attempt to understand what it's trying to depict. First of all, you must remember everything it says from the starting point ( beginning ) regardless of how boring it is as it later on becomes a fundamental piece of the plot. Second of all, you must try your best to confine a strict viewpoint as that does nothing more but decrease the entertainment of the show and your patience. And lastly, you must have a decent amount of patience as the build-up is very slow in contrast to numerous other similar anime.…

I'm a bit late to getting to this show it is fairly old in terms of anime. That being said it is definitely one to watch if you are a fan of the fantasy genre. This show has a mix of high fantasy and scifi fantasy. The first few episodes run really slow as it sets up the plot from various viewpoints but after that takes off as it gets into the main thrust of the arc. The concept of the story itself is unique in the way they try to recreate history though not really as tech is too advanced.
The characters in this show are solid. The MC.. or i guess the one you could call the MC is well done and one of the rare unabashed pervs. The show uses this mostly... well completely for gags. He can get a bit annoying though it never gets to being too much before it pops on to the other chars. The oth…

The first thing you need to know about Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon is that it gets better the further it goes along. The second season is also better than the first. So if you do decide to give it a go and are unsure after the first couple episodes, I suggest sticking with it.
The story line can be difficult to follow. They don't take the time to properly explain to you the history of the world or the politics, you're just expected to follow with only a limited grasp on these things.
To make it even more difficult, there are heaps of characters to keep track of right from the get go. Other than that, the show has some good action and comedic moments that kept me watching and some interesting takes on magic.
The characters themselves are decent, but because there are so many of them, there i…

Although I totally get why other people enjoyed this show, I had difficulty getting through any of it. And yes, that includes "After the first 4 episodes", because I'm an insane completionist who sometimes forgets to sleep.
Story: 2/10
I guess my hopes were brought up by the abundance of other reviews saying that you just have to wait it out, and get past the exposition. Well, I'm here to tell you the exposition never ends. Never.
Honestly, the show feels like a preteen's idea of politics. Entire nations are basically given away at the drop of a hat, with no attention payed to the political or societal ramifications, nothing close to farming is ever shown, and large armies are decimated with no justification for why they HAD large armies in the first place. Now normally, this would…

This is really good anime, the story line quite heavy since its not like common action anime who have 1 till 3 main characters. By doing many characters of course the story quite confusing to some people since this anime want give all the characters their own story so not just focused on few characters all the times.
The art really nice and smooth, personally this is my most favorite art type in anime, i really really love it.
Some of review says this anime don't have good song like "K-*N" well its whole different genre this is action fantasy not slice of life or musical school band.
The characters design is unique even this anime have really a lot of characters almost every each of them don't have any similarity including the uniform (except the "armies" or "troops")
Personally I real…

An amusing distraction – this is what Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon was for me. Ironically I would watch the anime again, but definitely not for the storyline – cause it was confusing as hell in the beginning. The character development is also shallow and the progression of the anime in context to time span and story location is limited. But still it was an amusing anime, if you like occasional breast fondling and big breasted female characters. If you are willing to put aside the discombobulated storyline and confusing characters, Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon is an amusing distraction provided by a weird eroge-loving protagonist and the busty females that make up the rest of the story. I would watch it again.

This one is tough to grade because there are lots of strong and lots of very weak pieces. It nets out to an overall fair experience and I think depending on the type of things you look for in anime you could have a very different opinion.
Let's start with the good:
The art is nice and is done well. The sound is also good and the music enhances the mood for the most part.
None of that is terribly unique in this day and age. The main good thing about this show is the diverse cast of characters. There are a TON of them; most of which are inconsequential and have extremely minor roles but several are quite unique. MCs sister and several others are a riot and the fact that they are so diverse in their personalities and character models makes for an interesting experience.
My favorite part of…

Horizon in the middle of nowhere is a really entertaining show to watch. But the story is confusing for sure. I think it comes from the overly complex premise, the abundance of fancy terminology and the sheer number of ideas crammed into the story when it comes to powers and technology.
All these concepts are not explained very clearly. But I Personally think that you can kind of understand what is going on if you follow the flow of the action.
I really like the characters of this show. The way they interact with each other is pleasant. There are a lot of characters and one could say that they are rather one dimensional but I think they have sufficient characterization to feel genuine and unique (for the most part). Even though they are numerous, we see enough interactions between these ch…

SCORE: 5/10
I gave this anime a shot because the synopsis seemed like it would be right up my alley. However, even as I write this review I have no idea what I watched, or why I continued watching it all the way through. So what makes this anime so hard to understand?
1. MC - The male Main Character is weird through and through. In fact, he is stark naked for most of the series. Why did he remove his clothes? Why did he not put them back on for most of the season? These are questions that are beyond me.
2. Side Characters - Most of them are ridiculous, and some of them in a funny and entertaining way. There's a guy who has his eyes on this baseball hat, a slime, and a Indian who fights using curry. Best part of the show by far was when these silly side characters got screen time.
3. Wo…

It is pretty good anime with good charector design and sound tracks. Also the background story makes it pretty good anime to watch. Initially anime start with slow plot means we need 1st four episode to understand what is going on in anime. Also the some anime charectors have good powers and some pretty lame power. But this anime look fighting type anime but it more focuses on the discussions and concepts definde by the charectors and there debates.
The most amusing charector is the President Aoi because of his gesture and smiling face. But I first thaught he have more power in anime but he just lame joker who is very kind and think of everyone thats make hime popular amongs girls and his friends. Also each charector in story quiet interesting.
The story concept of the countries operates…

Kyoukai Seijou no Horizon, where the anime is based on the past which is very futuristic (wat). If I was to put this whole anime in one word, it'd probably be 'unique'.
Story: 7/10
One main point that this anime has is originality and its uniqueness. Religious figures, sword-fighting, magic and mechs. Putting all of those together can be a hard task, but I'd say Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon passed the test. This anime also has romance and ecchi in it, so if you don't like that, then this anime is not for you. The romance side is very very light hearted, mostly focusing on Horizon and Tori. Though, there are some other relationships that build throughout the anime. There wasn't a lot of ecchi in the anime, but most of the ecchi comes from the superhuman-sized boobs from Kimi. I also forgot th…

Let me start by saying I was told this was pure fanservice, but apparently I was mislead to a degree. I watched this entire thing (in a low quality unfortunately) but still finished it in half a week. There were some crazy moments in this.
Story: I was kind of lost in the beginning since they kind of just throw you into the world, not explaining things until they happen. So you won't really understand what happens unless you check a wiki or wait until about halfway through the season.
Art: Had a very high tech look and seemed very pristine for lack of a better word. Everything just seemed to be like a normal anime, but the threw in some nice tricks with 3D and other small stuff.
Sound: I absolutely loved the music and voices in this. The voices matched the characters absolutely perfectl…

I really like this anime~
I like the art, the music, the character's appearance/personalities, and the action! These are the things that'll bring me back to it for a nice watch while eating a pack of noodles, as it takes me through the rounds of its action and unique art style of the people! What I’ll sing and make jokes about to myself from time to time! "Yeah, kick some butt! Show me more scenes of honor and battle! Relate to how I like visual novels! Pour more “dolls” and mechas on me! A merging of zany characters, intelligent characters, and zany-Intelligent characters? Count me in!! This anime rocks!!!"
But you know, there are some things I didn't mention up there, right? Like the story or setting. Why aren't they up there? Does it fall short in the parts you may like that I did…
