You see the thumbnail, you watch the opening, then you grab your phone to ask your friend-- "WANNA WATCH ROBOT GRANDPA?"
Inuyashiki was.... interesting, to say the least. In simplest terms, its a "Good vs evil" story with the hook being two characters are kidnapped by aliens and given god-like abilities, with one using the powers for good while the other uses it for evil. The old man (and thats what I called him throughout the series) was very touching and extremely likeable-- you find yourself rooting for him starting episode one. The other one, Hiro, is pure evil. It felt like if Light Yagami was able to act on his actions with violence rather than paper and pen. It also gave me the same sensation Death Note left me feeling-- How the HELL is this guy still getting away with it?
That fe…

It's not about becoming strong, the determination to help those in need is what makes one a hero.
Inuyashiki revolves around two men who died in an asteroid attack and were somehow transformed into machines. Getting a second life and overwhelming power, one chose to use it to save others, while the other decided to kill them.
The hero, Inuyashiki Ichirou, is one of the most genuine heroes I’ve seen in anime. Facing death and being neglected by everyone around him, the power he gains reignites his compassion for others. The portrayal of his character felt so realistic. It's refreshing to see an old man as the main character. His age and demeanor make his heroism all the more touching.
The animation was decent overall. There were a handful of CGI scenes, which is understandable given the…

How to Ruin Potential in 11 Episodes
I usually don’t even waste my time writing reviews about bad anime, but Inuyashiki was such a massive disappointment that I have to say something.
First off: the idea behind Inuyashiki should have had the potential to be watchable — an old man turned into a cyborg who decides to be a hero? A teenager who becomes the villain? Sounds fresh, right? Wrong. Somehow they managed to take a cool concept and make it almost physically painful to sit through.
Let’s start with the animation. The CGI is cringy and ugly. I don’t even mind CGI if it’s done right (Beastars says hi), but here it’s so stiff and off-putting that every fight scene looks like a bad PS2 cutscene. And don't get me started on the characters’ faces — they look like plastic dolls trying to cr…

I haven’t read the manga, but the anime was really mediocre. Topic in itself was captivating, but the plot representation was super incoherent. I assume they had to scram quite a lot of material into 11 episodes, hence the obvious holes in narrative. Animation was cheap-ish too.
There were really strong moments storywise but not enough to make the episodes into a more uniform series. The story has many elements included from fanoys mangas and animes, but eventually it was just smorgasbord of loose narratives stitched together.
The voice of the main character was extremely expressionless, I think I haven’t heard such a dull voice acting in my life. It was done obviously on purpose, but they underdid it.
So yeah, not really my cup of tea

This is a slasher flick in the form of anime.
It follows all the trappings of one. The characters have no agency on their own and move as the plot dictates. Events make no sense, often run counter to logic or ignore obvious solutions and only happen as necessary in order to move the plot forward along the rails the author wishes to lay.
The animation makes heavy use of 3D. I have nothing against the use of 3d in anime (I still enjoy the early RWBY seasons), and to a certain extent it is required by the artistic design they're pursuing. However the 3D is very obvious and not well integrated. If I was to speculate, this looks like an experimental project for the studio to fine tune their 3D pipeline and that's okay, but failing to blend the 2D and 3D aspects well does merit docking some po…

( HOOD REVIEW )
Going into this anime i didn’t expect much ! But i was pleasantly surprised! Another emotional roller coaster ! This is an adult anime for sure ! I mean it is COLD BLOODED , i mean walk in the house kill the mom, dad, grandma, & kids type shit ! It was moments in the anime where i had to sit up in my bed like “ain’t no way” !?.
I definitely recommend this anime . It’s a lil bit of CGi in the anime but it’s not enough to the point where it annoys you ! If you’re a big serial killer fan then this is the anime for you ! Definitely one of them anime when you kinda side with the villain & then he starts doing to much 😂,

Anime Theme Roulette 🎰 Review 2 🎰 Gore
Yet another anime i have avoided like the plague cuz of it's abysmal visuals
But if there's one thing these anime watching challenges have taught me, it's that great animation is not everything... good storytelling and character writing however does come pretty close to that
Though Inuyashiki does set a good foundation for an intersting and engaging story, it fails on all levels to utilize it, favoring a "then this happens, and then that happens" plot progression with hero and villain just running around the city doing their thing over giving them a well fleshed out background to aid their developement
What could've been an endearing tale about good vs evil turns into an absolute mess, with the very inconsistent characterization of the villain be…

Inuyashiki- an anime that have the potential to be one of the greatest anime of all time, got butchered in every way - Story, Character, except the animation. Now, i wont give a big ass explanation here. I will just tell everything on point.
The animation is 10/10, no issues here.
And the story, the story-it had immense potential, like it could have been as great as animes like AOT. They got all that plot smashed into a mere 11ep, huh? Also, there are many things that looked very odd.
Many things were missed that could have make the show even greater. The grandpa, could have easily been one of the greatest MC ever. And Hiro, the villain, had the lot to be the greatest villain ever. But what happened? Bro at first kills, then becomes good dude then again starts killing. With that story, t…

This show had no right being THIS good. I mean its pretty simple. Grandpa gets some mechanic superpowers. Decides to rescue people. Becomes hero. Same time som younger dude gets same powers goes completely different direction. Killing people becoming the villain. I mean it never really explains things. Why or where it comes from. Just kinda drops it. But its still so good. And that from just 11 episodes.
Opening is killer as usual. Man with a mission and MAPPA doing their usual thing.
Animation is…. Well mostly good. Didnt fancy the CGI much.
Story. While it never explains much or goes deeper on the powers the characters are so good. Inuyashiki one of the most likeable MC in anime. Refreshing with a more mature, laid back and timid character like that.
The villain in the the story…

i was SUPER intrigued by the trailer when it first dropped and really wanted to watch it until i just straight up forgot about the anime for 6 years until i saw a tik tok of hiro 6 days ago lol. THE very next day i started it up and from the first episode it without question had its claws gripped into me and by episode 2 it had me by the throat. This anime has it all to the point of one minute my mouth is almost touching the floor in complete shock from "did i just see that?" " did that just happen"? to complete anger of what i was watching and most importantly absolute heart touching feel good moments that all one can say to describe it is feeling full and warmth in my fellow human empathy to the point where multiple times i had moments of 1 to 4 tears stroll down my face. Have you found…

This anime is unique to say the least, but that's what makes it a fun watch as long as you don't take the death too seriously. It starts out odd with this old man but then it builds up into something unexpected which what makes it interesting.
If you don't want a boring typical anime then I think this hits the spot.
Story: Predictable after a few episodes but it's about the journey and not the destination.
Art: Good (I find the wrinkles on the older characters over exaggerated)
Action: Good
I found many of the parts quite emotional, especially towards the end. It's ironic how some anime can go from decent to better if it elicit some emotional response out of the viewer.

This anime is really underrated it deserves more recognition for its different kind of story which gives the feel of Death Note in some places. It really shows how power can corrupt a person. Basically, those who misuse their power had to suffer in some or another way. They also show how a person with good intentions is a real hero. They also target online trolling which can make the matter worsen. The people who like dark series or hero kind of stuff will definitely like it. The characters react in a realistic way in some of the situations but some of their actions are not realistic as their condition is different from normal humans. The story never fails to entertain as the plots were really great. The anime is quite in different way. But I feel that they can do better animation even the…

It's like Code Geass or Parasyte, you only score anything below "8" because you probably don't understand the story or have a problem with some topic covered.
Inuyashiki Last Hero does have its script holes and some errors, but that doesn't change the fact that it's an absurdly good story and easily a cult of absurd value.
A good point to defend this anime is the sense of reality present in the work, this goes from the way the themes are approached to the interactions between the characters, regardless of the BIZARRE things that appear in the anime.
Sorry for any grammar mistakes, I'm not that good at English because I'm Brazilian.

I'll leave this review kind of vague - but at it's simplest, Inuyashiki is an uncomplicated but beautiful story. Yes the plot sounds crazy - but at its core it is a show about what happens when 2 men are given crazy amounts of power and abilities. One of them could not deserve this power anymore if he tried, and the other is the total opposite - someone who should never be given it under any circustances.
The MC (Old man Inuyashiki) is by far one of the greatest MCs in all of anime. A simple, humble, but great man. Truly refreshing to see. There was only one or two parts of the writing that bugged me - but they weren't massive plot holes, and otherwise the story is sound.
Also, the voice acting is GREAT. Seriously. Especially Hiro (other MC). The art and animation is great too - apart f…

Inuyashiki Last Hero is a brutally nihilistic story which, while displaying the inherent meaninglessness of the world (and casting it in the stark light of extremely tragic and violent situations), also explores the way that people create their own meaning and imbue the world with the meaning that they create. While it has shockingly sick and horrific, truly blood curdling events... it also has heart wrenching instances of heroism, inspiration, and joy. It explores how different people try to feel "alive". In the case of the primary characters, they literally seek things that make them feel human. One feels human when helping others. The other feels human when observing others' pain. Their conflict is a large part of the plot... but looming over it is how pointless even their conflict is i…

Well, well, well. I would give Inuyashiki a 9 if not the ending. Overall the story and art are something different and amazing. We don't get that many characters introduced, but Hiro and his personality are so interesting that you don't really think about it.
I enjoyed the entire series, however, the ending made me choose 4 instead of 9. The whole time it seemed like finally, someone made an anime with a different plot where the "villain" would win in the end. And it seemed like that, but of course in the last 2 episodes, everything had to change because how would it be if the good side lost. lol
In my opinion, the creator didn't have any ideas for the last episode and just ended it this way. Both the hero and the villain die because out of nowhere there has appeared a comet that was goi…

NO spoilers dont worry
You might look at the animation and say its a bad anime but trust me its not
the story/characters/sound design compensate for it
It reminds me of telltale games everybody don't want to try them because the graphics are bad but some of them are masterpieces
The mc is 58 years old man trust me he is amazing you will see every character in the anime has some characters development which is impressive
I cant say more but check out the anime if you like a good story the anime is 11 epi so waster two to 3 hours of your day p.s. trump in the anime so its a watch😂

First of all, there's not many anime which give us an old man as a main character, the first time I watch this anime, I was a little bit skeptic about the story, but started from the epilog of first episode I felt really interested to continue my journey to complete this till the end.
From the start till the end this anime made me curious again and again, started with an ordinary old man and his little familiy and it seems that their relationship isn't going well like his wife keep scolding him and his son seems didn't really feel grateful to have him.
The fought between mr. Inuyashiki and Shishigami was really great both the animation and the sound effect, in general all I want to say is I like the fight and the ending is outstanding, my eyes was really wet when I saw it.

A must-watch anime indeed.
If you've ever dreamed of being able to delete people with your mind this anime basically explores this idea from the hero's perspective.
The anime has far too many messages that yell in your face to all subtle and too many scenes of people crying to be emotional.
The massacres and fight scenes are pretty well done and the CGI doesn't stand out too much
If it wasn't for the last episode this anime would have rated a 9 at best, but because the final episode was alluded to so early on you already knew the ending by episode 6.

SPOILERS (for the ending's tone)
Honestly super nice story overall, a bit rushed with 11 eps and also a bit weird with the whole grandpa training arc, but really great.
One big issue I had was the over-extension of the character types on either side, good and bad. Too many people who are actual scum of the earth and other people who are holier-than-thou. I understand that there actually are people like that in the world, but this anime makes it seem like there are only those two types of people.
Otherwise, generally good art with the obligatory "CGI bad" issues, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Now here comes the little spoiler part. I'm not a fan of unhappy endings, and this anime kinda has that. The whole sacrifice to finish it off and he doesn't even get to enjoy the world he saved is kin…
