Going into Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers, I went in expecting your usual isekai slop: generic world-building, an absurdly overpowered protagonist, conveniently available waifus, and enough recycled tropes to fuel another fifty seasonal anime. And, to be fair, the world-building absolutely looks like the author had a checklist titled “Generic Isekai Tropes We Cannot Afford to Miss.” But somewhere along the way, this show pulled a sneaky little trick and became one of my favorite comfort isekai of all time.
The biggest surprise? The writing is actually GOOD. No, seriously. I'm not joking around.
Our protagonist, Flio, is ridiculously overpowered, but unlike the usual isekai MC who somehow remains oblivious to his own strength despite accidentally destroying moun…

The thing with isekai is that most of them follow the same formula with a minor twist and this is no exception. It's your average fantasy story, but average is better than bad. If you want to watch more variants of the MC summoned into another world to defeat the Demon Lord, this will do that. The little twist this version offers is enough for the story to feel more chill overall. The presentation of the MC is enough to tell you what to expect from his interaction in the new world.
While everything from music, to animation or the world building feels taken from a template, it still manages to have some decent comedy and characters that feel like they have a personality of their own, which I would consider enough to get the story its own identity.
If you wanted a deep story with a lot of d…

Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life is the kind of isekai that understands it does not need to constantly escalate to remain entertaining. Its greatest strength is its relaxed atmosphere, mixing light comedy, romance, and brief moments of action without allowing any one element to overwhelm the others. The plot is simple without feeling completely mindless, and the series is at its best when it focuses on the relationships between its characters rather than trying to turn every conflict into a major event.
Rys is easily the standout character. Her loyalty, humor, character design, and enthusiasm toward her new role as Flio's companion give the series much of its personality. Her affection for Flio is consistently heartwarming, but she never feels reduced to simply…

Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life — Review
Rating: 7.3/10
Introduction
Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life is an isekai that takes a noticeably calmer approach than many modern fantasy and adventure series.
Rather than constantly pushing toward bigger enemies, increasingly difficult battles, and nonstop dramatic events, the anime focuses much more on daily life, romance, relationships, comedy, and the peaceful life of its characters. There is action, and there are several fights, but they are usually short and serve the story rather than becoming the main attraction.
That difference is important when judging the series. This is not an anime designed to keep the viewer on the edge of their seat every episode. Its appeal comes from wat…

Art is good, Animation great and if there is any CGI at all then it's perfect.
Being summoned from a fantasy world and into another world that happens to have the same theme is quite unique.
It starts out quite chill and mildly action-y, lots of funny and ridiculous moments too.
But despite all that it's more like a wonderful love story.
The start was quite disappointing but then it got better, even though I hate all these RPG and game features in this kind of theme.
As usual it's a meet every girl along the way story as well, I'd like for there to been some more variety.

Reading some of the bad reviewers here led me to write my very first one. I highly doubt most have even seen the Anime. You can criticize a lot of things with this one, but saying the VA's are mid is borderline insanity. The main couple is voiced by the old school duo Rie Kugimiya - Queen Of Tsunderes / Satoshi Hino. This show is also being judged by the same "metrics" used in common Isekais. This Anime is not competing with those, it has it's own thing going. It's a pretty chill wholesome story, with a fairly decent plot. The Anime does a lot of things right, and it represents a breath of fresh air in the genre. There's no slavery, no harem (like many bad review state, go watch it), there's even a focus on the romantic life of some of the supporting characters. Another wild claim is that…

I don't normally go out of my way to write reviews but this is going to be an exception honestly this anime isn't anything too special but it does do a lot to get out of all of the tropes that isekai has been suffering with and it honestly does a good amount to change a lot about the formula if the ending is good it could be rated a bit higher but honestly I'm just more excited about the next thing the
author will make it feels like a prequel to a real series that the author is going to make that's going to be far and above to change the formula and I didn't find it easy to predict what was happening like most other shows like this I'm really hoping the author makes a new series and takes it in a completely new Direction instead of trying to slightly stick to the status quo I feel like th…

This anime is hot garbage in the best ways. It is all the worst parts of what an over powered Isekai is and more. There is no conflict that even challenges the main character in the slightest, any semblance of tension and steaks is immediately ruined by the MC being OP, and the MC only exists to be OP with a harem.
With that out of the way, THE ONLY redeeming part of the anime is the wolf girl because of her charm and comedy. She made me laugh so hard with some of the comedy moments and she is not shy or squeamish when it comes to marriage and love, she wants the MC and she will not take a no for an answer and will be the perfect woman to prove her love to him.
Other than that, this anime is absolute trash. I will rewatch it, I have the blu-ray of it, and I like to tell others about it.…

What a freaking show, man. I couldn't believe I missed this when it initially aired. The amount of content from only 12 episodes of a seasonal anime is insane. They understood the assignment and delivered peak. I love shit like this. SOLROMCOM is the goat!
How did I find this?
Are you kidding? Have you seen the opening? How could you refuse to delve into the series after seeing that?
Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
I saw "cheat" in the title and thought it was going to be bad, but it proved me wrong since I heard people praised this anime for how amazing the SOL scene is. I was like, "Really now?"
I went into this expecting those SOL, not the trashy isekai power scaling shit.
Happy to say, I got what I want, heck, 3 times what I expected even.

Honestly, a pretty weak entry in the "Wish Fulfillment" genre of Isekai, could have been much more but then decided to take an "absolutely moral" way of handling things.
The Main Character is: strongly against slavery but still sort of have at least a character indirectly enslaved; doesn't want to kill anyone but has unlimited powers (which he used to kill anyway at some point); has a harem but wants to be monogamous with a random girl that just appeared one day; is loaded with money he gives it away randomly without even explaining how he got it in the first place.
In short, the MC is a wimp and most importantly logically and morally inconsistent.
The female cast is probably the best thing about this anime, they actually have their own personality and motivations albeit not deep or detail…

Okey, keep in mind, this is a slop isekai. Its mostly slice of life with an op character as the main protag, but unlike how other similar stories would go where the protag tries to keep neutrality or his genuinly chill side but gets fully involved into the politics anyway, the protag here is keeping its neutrality. He is able to stay out of politics.
Its overall very lighthearted, no silly revenge plot, no over the top stupid characters, perfect for time to fill. And in that regard for sure one of its kind.
It also doesn't feel that there are any useless characters and happens to pick up on some other problems those settings usually come with. Its really one of the better slop isekais.

Chillin in another world. This title doesn't screw around. In more ways then i really hoped it will.
This isekai starts in a ... unique way? Because the MC gets transported from a fantasy world to another. That ... really doesn't do much though. This is one of those shows where the protag is OP and invincible sadly. But this time around he goes out of his way to avoid most fights. Is that a fix for the issues creating an OP protag that does everything with no issues? No. Not at all. There's no real stakes, there's nowhere for him to advance, there's no struggle about the chilling part either.
Let's get the obvious out of the way first. Animation is real basic and not in a good way. It's the isekai treatment as to be expected. Either no budget either no interest. Could be both, who knows,at…

Very good isekai anime, while he is summoned to another world the world he comes from isnt earth but another fantasy world. so hes already familiar with what magic is and certain monsters and demihumans and most of the stuff he encounters in this new world isnt new to him. and while he is initially judged as underpowered and useless during his summoning, after he is exiled he becomes overpowered almost instantly and is neutral towards what human consider as evil due to his personality and how he was treated by the human leaders. everything that happens next is just him carving out his own neutral slice of the world with the people that become part of his life.

Yet another isekai anime which is very enjoyable, the character development is just right and Flio the main character is but a humble merchant and his ways were entertaining and engaging with the other characters that felt just right.
The progress of the story was also just right for 12 episodes only, very great how the story progresses through each just right so it’s not too little or too forwarded. Complemented by magic and its visual effects were very nice and pleasant to look at. Everything about it was just great.
The end was a bit unexpected and caught me a bit off guard but it felt very good and fitting for the last couple of episodes so the ending was satisfactory and at the same just perfect. This anime for me was well done and written for the story was very cozy slice of life…

I am not sure what I expected when I decided to watch this because of the opening song but this anime feels like it was written by filling in a checklist of isekai tropes without ever asking why any of them need to be there. It has an Overpowered MC, Random harem setup, Demon war in the background and A “twist” that barely qualifies as one.
It’s not offensively terrible and if you’ve never seen an isekai before, maybe this could pass as watchable but if you have seen even two or three in the genre, this one will feel like reheated leftovers. Forgettable at best, frustrating at worst.
PS- Has some pretty memeable expressions that can be used though

(ACTUAL RATING ON LAST PARAGRAPH)
i wanted to write a review on this anime to appreciate the fact that the MC is reasonable most of the time and doesn't easily get persuaded or influenced, unlike in MOST isekai animes where male MC basically changes mind depending on the "fanservice plot" or something of that sort, or blushes at seiously any woman character. You get what I mean. It's rare for a male MC to be loyal to their wife, I'm so glad it didn't turn out to be a cliched harem after the fact that about 6 girls are living along with them, instead, he treated them like his and Rys' children, supporting them towards what they really want. Though everything in this anime is purely convenient, the bad guys get bad things, the good guys get better things, so it's specifically for viewers who…

Its a pretty much copy paste Isekai just like the other Op Mc chill isekai. Nothing special. But the mc gets only one girl and stay loyal to her. That's a good thing. The story is mid but Iam rating it 7 because it has 2 satisfactory moment that's enjoyable. You shouldn’t watch this if you aren’t a isekai simp and I don't recommend it either. Its just mid with no creative story.
It has quite satisfactory kiss scene thats why I am rating it 7/10 otherwise its like 5.5/10. Basically every isekai is like this.
You should know its not a normal isekai. The mc reincarnates in a fantasy world from a fantasy world that looks kinda interesting at first but just the same trashy isekai story from episode one. The mc gets kicked aout gets girl in first episode then become so powerful that the coun…

If you enjoy the Isekai genre but dislike the stereotypical aspects, this one may be for you. Instead of Earth to a fantasy world, the main character goes from one fantasy world to another. There is no real harem (one love interest between mc), almost no explicitly ecchi fanservice, and although the mc is overpowered, it doesn't keep him from being too bland.
This anime is generally wholesome, but there may be some dark aspects to it, but for this season, only one episode got dark, if this gets another season, there'd definitely be another.
If you liked the source material, then this is a pretty good adaptation, not straying from the plot, with minimal character redesigns.

A combination of an average isekai with a mediocre harem story that, unfortunately, doesn’t bring anything new to the genre. The main character, a typical OP protagonist, is yet another copy of characters from similar series — lacking uniqueness and charisma to truly capture the viewer’s attention. The storyline is also unimpressive, relying on overused tropes we’ve seen countless times before. While the title has a few positives, they aren’t strong enough to save the overall experience.
The most notable advantages are, unfortunately, the waifus, who, while attractively designed, lack distinctive personalities, and the fallen hero character. The latter has the potential to add depth and emotion to the story, but its development remains underwhelming and shallow. Perhaps the creators will e…

Lv2 kara Cheat is okayish... The reason I still went for the recommended review instead of mixed feelings is because I think it's enjoyable for people who already like and enjoy watching isekais. If you've never watched one, you probably shouldn't start with this one, and I'll try to explain briefly why down below.
This anime is clearly aiming for the average, and it will check many boxes of the isekai genre : op mc, pseudo harem, basic plot, average animation quality etc... And while a few elements are done right such as the number of characters introduced, the female MC, the opening song, the slice of life vibe and the development of their home/everyday life, there are also many elements done wrong. Indeed, the plot is forgettable, the rhythm is fine for the first half but it becomes t…
