Introduction
Every day, Aya Asagiri thinks about killing herself. She is bullied relentlessly at school, and at home, her older brother Kaname physically abuses her to relieve the academic stress put on him by their father.
One night, as she lies awake wishing for death, a mysterious website called Magical Girl Site appears on her laptop, promising to give her magical powers. At first, she dismisses it as a creepy prank, but when she finds a magical gun in her shoe locker the next day, she doesn't know what to believe. Deciding to take it with her, she soon runs into her bullies once again. But this time, desperate for anything to save her, she uses the gun—and her assailants are transported to a nearby railroad crossing, where they are run over.
Aya's conscience is unable to handle the fact that she murdered two of her classmates with magic, and she desperately tries to understand the situation. However, when she finds herself in trouble again, she is saved by Tsuyuno Yatsumura, a classmate who can use magic to stop time. This duo has a lot to do: not only do they have to fight alongside and against other magical girls, but they also need to uncover the truth behind the website and the apocalyptic event known as "The Tempest" that is soon to occur.

If you're looking for a so bad its good anime then this is a good pick. In every other department besides art it fails. Its pacing is pretty bad and I don't really mean how the fast the story progresses that's fine but just the way people talk and conversate in general. Its very typical and follows the trope of minutes of talking during a fight or intense situation. The main character is also adapted horribly at least in the manga she isn't that scared but the anime turns it up 10x.
Overall if you're looking for something to laugh at and make fun of with friends then this is a good pick. But the manga is actually pretty good too it doesn't take itself as serious and you can tell the authors just having fun with it really.

Another show that tries to be Madoka Magica but it´s only an edgy suffering porn. That´s it. However wrote it clearly doesn´t know how to handle heavy themes and it shows.
You would probably have a better time rewatching Madoka Magica or some another great mahou shoujo anime. The only way you will enjoy this anime is if you are a 13yo otaku on a ongoing edgy phase that thinks anything with blood is peak.
The only saving grace of this anime is the art style that I think it´s pretty decent. If you really want to give this narrative another chance, then go to the manga, it´s not a masterpiece but it´s certainly better than the anime.

Honestly, the anime is absolutely horrible in comparison to the manga. The first few episodes it follows the plot perfectly, then spins off into something comepletely different and gives it a horrible ending. Of course the anime was completed before the manga was finished, but I still was highly disappointed by the anime when I read the manga first. I wouldn't recommend watching the anime before reading the manga. I found the mangas story a lot more unique and compelling than the anime, and I enjoyed the cutesy art style combined with the gore and the dark designs of the site managers.

Maybe some people just like "edgy" things? Maybe it's okay to enjoy a gorefest that has no complex story? Mahou Shoujo Site ticks the boxes for me, as someone who loves gore and horror. And I mean, it's kind of even better when it's happening to characters who look so innocent - makes it easier to accept the ridiculousness of what is happening. This is not a series that is to be taken too seriously, even though it tries to be. And that's okay.
Story: Cute magical girls team up to stop an otherwordly evil and face hell in the process. Except the anime is non-canon and it ends on a cliffhanger. If that puts you off, don't watch this. There's bloody backstories, enemies to friends, a cute beach episode, and terrible villains.
Characters: There are a number of characters you have to pay att…

Magical Girl Site, or Mahou Shoujo Site, is probably the worst anime I've ever watched. Despite this, I loved it.
It's an edgy shitshow that relies on shock value and little substance trying to piggyback off of the success of Madoka Magica, and I adored every second. I do have to admit that some of the character designs were quite nice, though. Anyway - I loved it, personally, in a "so bad I can't stop watching" way - but do I recommend it? No.
The main character, Aya, had an almost laughably tragic life that was clearly set up for the sole purpose of being a sob story, as with most of the other magical girl characters. Not to mention how her brother was just an irredeemable, unlikeable character without any depth.

Another wasted potential series suffered from a unfaithful anime adaptation.
Seriously what is up with this, do this anime only exist to promote the original source material? If they are this is a horrible strategy they are going for... It will only have the opposite effect and backfire on them, like no lie I lost my motivation to try read this manga after learning it was so different from the anime... Again I am getting tired of these kinds of anime trying to be different when it's really hurting their own product THIS NEEDS TO STOP.
In conclusion pls stay true to the original story next time smh

I have very mixed feelings about this anime. On one hand, I was really into it. It started out great and I was "This is actually pretty good. Why do people not like this?" Then on the other hand it fell hard after episode 8 in my opinion and then I was "Ah, I now know the reason why." What started out with an excellent premise fell flat on its face. Because you go into it intrigued in how the story was going to go. Unfortunately for this anime, I had to really force myself to finish the last several episodes. Which isn't a good sign. Since it means that I lost motivation and to not drop this anime, I had to force myself to finish.
Art 8/10:
Let's start with the art. I thought the animation was pretty good for what it was. Visually, this anime is appealing and it is done super well.

Mahou Shoujo Site is one of the best pieces of art i have ever had the pleasure of watching, definitely recommend if you like dark & cute animes, the plot is amazing and all of the characters are wonderful, a beautiful anime.
The story was very unique and unlike anything else I've watched, I don't think I will ever be able to find the pleasure I got out of watching Mahou Shoujo Site in any future anime. The art style is very fitting and cute, the character design was very well fitting for the themes and plots of the characters. I enjoyed how each character had a backstory even if they were a smaller character. Other than that you will simply just have to watch it, I don't have a single negative thing to say about it.

i can honestly understand why some people hate this show, but i think it’s a good show if you ignore the weird parts, out of all of the “horror magical girl” shows i’ve watched, this might be the one that actually scares me because of the fact that it has a scene where the mc is LITERALLY about to get sa’d. also i genuinely feel like the mc needs therapy bcs wdym this girl got bullied relentlessly, had to witness multiple people die, her brother hits her, and she almost got sa’d?? like if that was me id just deactivate myself already because how does your life possibly get THAT bad like oh my god… anyways back to talking about the show itself it’s actually good, my faves were tsuyuno and rina, this show is so overhated but it’s lowkey for a reason because although the plot was good, it KIN…

Story is essentially about a girl who is bullied in high school. One day, she is mysteriously granted a toy gun by an unknown source, which turns out to be lethally powerful. However, she soon finds herself targeted by another individual who possesses the same power. Sounds intriguing, right? Well, that’s the thing. The way the story progresses could either draw you in or make you lose interest. It’s not great or even good, and I think calling it just 'fine' is the best way to describe it. I didn't find anything particularly interesting about this anime, and the plot is quite inconsistent, almost bipolar at times, but I still enjoyed it to some extent. What I liked most was the moral aspect of the story and how it portrays bullying and an unhealthy society, which makes the characters relat…

I feel like it's too edgy. It wants to be like madoka magica but it doesn't give the emotional attachments to the character very well. It's also very weird that like I believe she's 14 has a weapon that's her panties that controls people's minds it made me feel uncomfortable I'm not going to lie. But if that doesn't bother you, that's chill. I really wanted to like this anime. I did really enjoy the character designs and I really think it's an interesting concept. If you just want to watch something edgy with that weird anime and edge Lord dark then I would say this is for you.

It's a Puella Magi Madoka Magica wannabe parody that can't do anything right, the plot is all over the place, the villains are all badly stupidly written with nothing to go for, companions' background is not properly developed, and for some godawful reason, they had to add a beach episode
Its worst sin, it deviates a lot from the manga's story but not for the better, were it a faithful but incomplete manga adaptation I would have been slightly generous with my rating, but only slightly
If someone wants to know the anime/manga differences, here they are below:
Chapters 01-17 - there are differences.
Chapters 18-31 - major differences.
Chapters 32-42 - almost coincide with episodes 8-9.
Chapters 43-45 - there are differences with the first half of episode 10.
Chapters 46-55 - terminal di…

i started watching this anime because the torture shock value from the trailer appealed me? 😅 and i got what i expected. the MC girl living the most miserable life that would make anyone kys. now add more girls with their equally fucked up backstories and continue the torture shock for the rest of the anime, and yep, that's the entire anime
this anime is just filled with a lot of weird shit and brain-dead edginess and torture, and a lot of tropes. these depressed af bitches who were trying to kill each other suddenly became friends within the next few episodes? also, i find it weird that almost every girl except the MC is fine with the killings. then again, i don't think any girl with an abusive or sadistic life is sane enough to think rationally. there was also one episode made solely f…

The premise of this show is that it's Madoka except trying to be even more edgy without understanding why Madoka is a decent show in the first place (when you ignore the godawful final episode). The first episode is essentially just a series of unfortunate events happening to our protagonist (the most pathetic person alive) and it's hard to take it seriously because it's so over the top. That's basically how the rest of the show goes, things happen but you can't take them seriously because they're too ridiculous or they just don't make sense.
Madoka had the whole thing with the soul gems and the wishes and the aliens that made it feel like more than five minutes of thought were put into the premise. In Magical Girl Site, the jannies of some deep web site give magical powers to depressed…

I’m so pissed off. Not just because I felt like I wasted my time with this show, but also because this had all the right ingredients to be a great experience. Mahou Shoujo Site might seem like yet another Madoka clone, but this one combines elements of shows like Mirai Nikki to try and have a more unique spin on the genre. Although it started off extremely compelling and interesting, the show eventually got boring and frustrating to watch, although the ending was not as bad as it could have been.
Not everything was bad, though, even near the end of the show. The visuals, while initially appearing strange and even dated, are not all that bad. The music, while unmemorable and sometimes shamelessly taking cues from Madoka Magica, also suited the scenes well. The animation was pretty good and…

Definitely not the greatest show but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy my time watching it. In the beginning it's front loaded with immense amounts of dark and depressing subjects but I'd rather watch a train wreck than paint dry which is what the latter half of the season suffers from. When I think back on this show I immediately think to the more absurd things at the start, whereas the second half feels like they ran out of edgy things and realized they needed an actual plot. However! The magic system is very cool and I really enjoy it! I just wish such a good magic system was attached to a show I could earnestly recommend for something other than an ironic watch. If you're looking for a way to kill time or have a "bad anime night," with friends, this is for you.

I personally don't care what anyone says about this Anime it's literally amazing.
Although most of the watchers find it 'edgy', I found it quite enjoyable.
It has very, straight to the point scenes that come as unexpected yet seriously thrilling.
The story itself isn't bad. It's interesting, I wish there was a second season, I think it'd be worth it.
The art is great, so is the voice acting and the OST isn't too dramatic or too much.
The plot twists are numerous, interesting and what I like about this anime the most is that some details you wouldn't expect to see happening, DO indeed happen, and it's satisfying and entertaining to watch.
The anime does not hint at things, it straight-up presents them, no matter how 'bad' they are, which I find fun.
Another reason to watch it? Yatsumu…

The first couple of episodes are a great depiction of the human psyche... and the greatness ends there
The one interesting element this series had quickly gets drowned out by an over the top plot, eccessive amount of new characters with zero time to develope them, changes of heart which make absolutely no sense with little to no credibility, nonsensical powerups, and even more characetrs which pop out of nowhere in random episodes seemingly with some importance to the plot only to then be completely forgotten, all neatly wrapped up in one of the most lackluster endings of all time
I'd only ever recommend this series if you want to watch it for a laugh, 'cause it does have one of the most hilarious magical items in the universe
Other than that it's just wasted potential

it's certainly not for everyone, but i quite liked it. it was definitely only dark just to be dark, but it's not nearly as depressing as i thought it would be going in. my friends recommended it to me and said that it was extremely gruesome, but it was a little underwhelming. not saying i didn't like it, i'm happy it wasn't as bad as my friends remembered it. i'm just saying that if you think it's going to be absolutely horrid, then you'll be pleasantly surprised.
i don't think this show deserves all the "not recommended". it WAS just trying to be edgy, but i think it still worked.

This show was a challenge to watch because it brings little to nothing to the table and what it can manage is hyperbolic and pandering to specific fetish types and exhausted tropes.
The show cannot figure what it wants to say with constant tone shifts, a illogical and lackluster story driven by very cliché characters.
Numerous scenes with numerous characters i skipped through them because by that point in the show i knew they had nothing to say that mattered or the character had the personality of a bowl of glass shard cereal.
They act abruptly and without any real backstory to explain why.
They story had potential that was ultimately wasted , poorly written and even worse in execution, which honestly is what upset me most about the ending was just how little anything was answered or eve…
