After reading the manga I said I would watch the anime too but I read that they also used a sequel which I didn't read at all so I only know about one ending and I have to say that it was really pathetic and finally here in the anime too.
As for the anime, after watching the first ep. it was immediately clear to me that the orders are exactly the same as the previous manga only from the middle they were different so I don't see any originality here just separating the same thing with new characters.
Since I read the first manga, I intentionally skipped past passages that I still had fresh in my memory and only watched the parts that were from the sequel, the only thing that surprised me was how they skipped and left out parts in it, which ultimately doesn't explain most of the things and w…

This one is a guilty pleasure of mine. Like this anime is bad but occasionally it has good moments that me forget that this anime is bad. I like the exaggerated drama. Character interactions are some of the best moments in this but overall the writing is not "gold". But anyway this one wasted much potential. Like the story sounds interesting but its not executed that well. Also I was not a fan of how the gore was handled like it was not artistic but rather cheap. There could also have been more emotional payoff rather than how this was handled. The characters are pretty forgettable overall and are not that well fleshed out. But despite all that it was entertaining overall, but just not high qualitiy.

Ousama Game The Animation is truly a masterpiece… and by masterpiece I mean a chaotic rollercoaster that somehow keeps you glued to the screen while you question every life decision that led you to press “play.” And honestly? That’s exactly why it deserves a 10/10.
The anime throws you straight into a mysterious and extremely questionable situation that somehow keeps getting more intense. Every episode raises the tension and also raises the number of times you say, “What is going on?” But instead of stopping, you just keep watching.
The characters are… memorable. Not because they always make the best choices (they absolutely do not), but because their reactions make the whole experience even more entertaining. Watching everything unfold feels like witnessing pure chaos, and somehow that…

The first horror anime where the most terrifying thing is realizing how much of your life you wasted watching such a piece of garbage. If you still remember the name of any character after finishing this masterpiece, please reformat your brain right now; you're wasting space for nothing. It's bad in absolutely every way: premise, development, characters, soundtrack, animation, etc. That said, I admit it's engaging enough to make you watch the next episode, simply because the curiosity and morbid fascination of seeing just how bad it can get is greater than the anime's budget. You have to see it as an unintentional comedy full of edgy characters, written by 12-year-olds in their most emo phase, to at least not be so disgusted by it. Just don't watch it; it's so bad you'd want to waste your…

“King’s Game” is what happens when an actual interesting story idea is given to someone with zero imagination and writing skills.
You know, I think my tolerance for garbage writing is getting thinner and thinner and this show is really stretching it. This show doesn’t give a rat’s ass about logic, build up or creating anything that would pretend to be sympathetic characters. The story is actually a pretty solid idea but the plot is utter garbage. The writer was more concerned about shock value than creating anything worthwhile or even coherent.
Before we start I would like to explain something. I will be talking about “plot” and “story”. Many people use those terms interchangeably. I’m not one of those people, so to make sure everyone is on the same page…
I use the definitions for “plot…

I rated this show a 1/10, but if I could give it a negative score, I would. You don't need to ask me why I give this show such a low rating, just watch it and you'll immediately understand. But also, don't put yourself through that. It's not worth it.
And for anyone that did watch this show to completion— I am very sorry for your loss.
Anyway, in case people want to know specifics about what I think:
Was the story unique? Yes, but that isn't always a good thing, as this show has demonstrated.
Was the art style any good? Somehow, the most inoffensive part of this show was the art. The art was just fine, which is better than I can say about any other part of this show.
Did the characters have any depth? Simple answer: No.
Do yourself a favor and don't watch this.

King's Game is hilarious for all the wrong reasons. This anime is so bad that it's good, the best way to enjoy this is to get some friends together so you can make jokes at King's Games expense. The twists are so hilariously predictable, and the way side characters will switch up out of nowhere and for no reason other than to make our main character more tragic is so funny. Characters will do bad things and no one will care, but if the main character, Nobuaki, does it everyone will start beating him up. But don't think that when a character ends up disrespecting Nobuki they won't get punished, because they'll die the worst death imaginable. Those death scenes are so over-dramatic that they end up being funny.
Kenta is the best character, he is Nobuaki's yes man. If Nobuaki told him that Sa…

Brief overview: An abomination that is worth to prank a friend to watch
To this day I can't believe I finished this shit not gonna lie
Story 1/10
The story is basically about a class of each student that has faced with a mysterious demand from their phone and if they don't fulfill it they die. At first the demand is much simpler and easy however as time goes on the demand gets more explicit and harder. It sounds very interesting in concept, but the execution of this anime is everything that is poorly portrayed and the logic behind every reason makes you question everything as most decisions don't make sense.
Characters 1/10
The characters are badly shown in this anime. Most characters in this anime have a personality that makes no sense as most of the character shown here acts like pure…

In spite of it's rating, this is my favorite anime of all time.
Horror is a genre that does not generally fare well among anime fans, however this gem remains hidden by its poor ratings.
This show excels at its character development. By the end of the show, the characters have all been thoroughly explored and we get to see that many of them are fighting to survive for more than just their own sake and many of them are willing to sacrifice themselves to save their friends.
Honestly not sure why this one got such a bad score from others. It goes up there with Higurashi as a show that is crushing but amazing at the same time.

Going by a majority of these reviews, Ousama Game may well be one of the worst animes ever listed. And you know what? They are probably right. Well, objectively, anyway. But watching anime has never been about objectivity.
Allow me to make a case for it:
That perhaps it is never meant to be evaluated in the context of every Battle Royale survival anime (or whatever sub-genre you like) there is. Perhaps it can be appreciated simply because it is the best adaptation of the source material we have.
Both stylistically and narratively, the anime version improves leaps and bounds upon the live action film. There are three major differences that to me substantially elevated the experience:
[Stylistic spoilers below]
1. In the anime, we are brought right away into a vibrant world, an attractive…

The animation is good, although sometimes the emotions are expressed weirdly. The music is also good. The main idea (of what caused the game) is ok but has some miscalculations. Everything else just gets worse and worse.
The plot is very bad and feels too unnatural, most characters also behave unnaturally (I'm not saying about the cases when they feel desperate). One moment everyone is confused yet kind towards someone, seconds later they are all angry and violent towards him. A character gets a knife in his leg but soon stops crying and looks calm as it'd feel no pain. Someone just died and soon a character feels again like smiling and full of optimism. A girl uses physical violence, everyone is against her (including ~5 guys), yet no one tries to stop her. There were too many cases when…

King's Game is a prime example of how not to make an anime. This show attempts to tell a story without any sense or direction, and fails miserably. The characters are poorly developed, the plot is uninteresting, and the ending is unsatisfying. The show's attempt to create tension and drama falls flat, and viewers are left wondering why they even bothered to watch it in the first place. The pacing is off, and the attempts at shock value feel cheap and unearned. Overall, King's Game is a poorly made anime that is not worth the time or effort to watch

“This show is fucking awful.”
-Me
The rules of the King’s Game are as follows:
1. All female characters must be disgustingly sexualized, this is a MATURE show for ADULTS after all.
2. Every death has to be over-the-top and ridiculous, people like comedy relief, right?
3. Characters must never exercise common sense, how else would there be a conflict?
4. The plot must be as nonsensical as possible. We can just tell people it’s a “mystery.”
Ousama Game is revolting. It’s not bad in a "Wow this show has so much mindless violence," sort of way.
It's more like "Wow some perverted sicko was paid to animate their disgusting fetishes.”
I'm not only repulsed by Ousama game because of the sexualization. I'm repulsed because of how it uses the horror genre as an excuse to create degenerate sexuali…

A lot have been said about King's Game since its release and as you can imagine from my 1/10 rating, I won't be arguing against the general consensus. However, I still wanted to express my utter disgust with not the edgy nonsense that constitutes the main content of the show, the utterly dogs**** writing and structure of it all.
The cringy attempts at exploitation horror story are at least something that will appeal to some and give laughing material to others, even with the crappy gore and dozens of dumb characters you can't possibly care about. However, most aspects of the story, if you pay any attention, are unforgivably, almost uniquely bad. The present action and flashbacks from protagonist's previous King's Game are intertwined in the most confusing and pacing-killing ways, to the…

Such a let down. The concept was great and this could have been good but the biggest problem in my opinion was the characters. The protagonist was very annoying. He was very corny, and if he knew how to talk to people he wouldn't have to play the crappy savior by himself.
The antagonist, they weren't a problem, they did a good job of making me dislike them, BUT the way the other characters react to the antagonist actions was very dumb and not realistic. People are not gonna just sit there and watch someone do evil things right in front of them, especially when it affects them. Example (this didn't happen in the anime) bad person tells my friend to jump off a cliff because they are a loser, I'm not gonna just sit there and watch my friend jump off the cliff with out trying to physically st…

To put it bluntly, the ending was horrible. Holy good god what have I just seen. The ending makes it feel like everything was for nothing. I liked a lot of the characters, a good chunk of them grew on me. But holy shit that was the most fucked up anime i've seen to date. I feel like there were better ways the story could have progressed. Honestly might be in my top 10 worst anime of all time. I also couldn't let myself sit through the full time of each episode so I skipped a few seconds each episode.
Story 5
Art 8
Sound 8
Character 7
Enjoyment 5
Overall 5

My first time writing a rewiew:
- I FUCKING HATE THIS ANIME.
- I regret watching this anime.
- First time i almost throwed up watching anime.
- I hate the Protagonist and the red hair girl.
- SPOILER How the red hair girl after getting her back drilled can stand up?.
- My opinion: the red hair girl should have died when her back was drilled.
- If you want an anime similiar to darwin's game don't watch this.
- SPOILER The end is pointless you die no matter what. Why the protagonist can't punch that girl and while he's getting killed he stands still doing nothing, just fucking punch her pls.

I will not say this is the best 'Death Game' Anime out there but I did enjoy it even if I was triggered my the Main Character multiple times.
The Art and Sound quality are decent 6/10, can't blame the studio for low budget. So its still watchable. And I like they do not hesitate to show gore.
The story it self is 7/10 me being generous. There are a lot of plot holes but maybe if there is a season 2 they might fill those up. Like where are all the adults in the show? Anyway it is good that they did have a clear goal of where everything was leading to the end of the season.
The most annoying thing about this is that MC has a -100 IQ. He is so so stupid that I wish he would be the one to get eliminated. Maybe it is the way he was supposed to be just to trigger the watchers. At least the m…

TLDR, for you who don't want to read everything. In short this anime is a complete waste of time. I'm going to try to keep this short. This anime is horrible, it is the worst anime i have ever seen. I love the genres horror/mystery/gore and anythig else that is not the usual happy go lucky generic isekai or harem anime. But this anime, even though there is gore and "mystery" and it is trying to be scary, it is still a complete hit and miss. I am trying to be objective here and not be as harsh as other reviews, some say this should not exist, others that this is poison that won't kill you but instead prolong your suffering. I think thats too hars and over the top, but i agree with the anime being trash.
1. the sound is irregular. Sometimes it's great, some times it sounds like they recorde…
