We hope that we get to see the life of yuuji and shana in the new world and to see more of romance scenes between yuuji and shana. The story is great and characters are great and we hope to see a new season continuing the last season about the life of yuuji and shana in the new world and how they can achieve yuuji goal for peace and of romance scenes between yuuji and shana because in the end i was upset not to see more of yuuji and shana relationship and how it can be improved more and how will they live together.

PARTIAL (11/24) NOT completed, but for some reason I couldn't post a review without saying so Some shows are great from beginning to end, over many seasons and OVAs and movies etc while other aren't and there are some that just fall apart after only part way through and should have gone final long before the end. SnS Final should have gone Final before reaching "Final." The first season was fantastic to me and I could hardly wait for season 2. All but the last 5 or so episodes were really worth much of anything. Then, we reach this. This is a huge disappointment and I'm not going to even bother completing the remaining episodes. The story is dry, wrung out form all of the previous content that was already dried up. The same visuals stand, which I appreciate, but the story does too.…

Flawless masterpiece. Shakugan no Shana is the perfect example of how to write a story with beginning, middle and end, a story that doesn't throw away its themes and ideas and commits to them to the very end. The third season of this show is not only one of the best anime ever made, it also makes the two previous seasons better in retrospect. What seemed like a regular paranormal anime is now the first step in a fullfiling journey. A masterpiece is not something that is perfect but something in which the good overshadows the bad and Takahashi's-san writing accomplishes that like a really hot, burning flame.

[SPOLIERS] If you liked the first two seasons, stay there. Shana III is a complete mess, from start to finish - Story 3/10 I really don't like when a game, or anime, starts with a spoiler, the episode with tells how most of the history will develop. Most of the time, the history does not develop to a point where there spoiler plot will blow your mind, and you just leave you with the felling "is that it ?" This is Shana III, no explanation about anything, a majors of loosen dots through the history, too many elements that does not add anything. A mess. And in the you just keep thinking "why not just do X or Y ?". - Sound and Art 8/10 Nothing to complain, pretty good. - Characters 3/10 This one I can't even rank it properly. If we just had similar characters from Shana II, that would be…

It was a GREAT SERIES for me! Great action, story as well and how it made me think whom to side with. IT WAS ALL ABOUT COMPROMISING THOUGH. Impressive! The ending should have been beyond satisfactory if it weren't for the exchange dialogue of Yuji and Shana regarding the Grand Order and the reason behind all their desires. I was expecting more from Yuji to express more verbally. I was waiting for him to say those 3 magical words to her. hahaha I was expecting to see a more intense and quite intimite and melancholy scene from the both of them. What lacks this season is a detailed explanation of it all (to make sure the viewers can fully grasp what's happening) and a clear dialogue between characters saying their clear intentions (not in a way where the viewers would understand things ri…

Before anything else, I think it needs to be acknowledged that this was probably quite a treat for readers of the original light novels, I’m sure it must’ve felt nice to see that huge cast of characters brought to life animated like this, especially considering they spent more time with and got to know them better. A lot of anime is made just as an advertisement for the source material and the light novels were quite popular at the time this was released so I assume signing off on the adaptation wasn’t exactly a tough sell. I don’t really know the circumstances around its production, nor do I think it’s realistic to expect all of its 22 volumes worth of material to be adapted so I think it’s reasonable to assume the decision to make the 3rd and final season like this was some well intenti…

*REMEMBER THIS IS A SUBJECTIVE REVIEW WITH SOME OBJECTIVE POINTS* Final season! This time the anime took a different direction, but with the same “essence” as the first season. Fights, powers,a lot of lore and mixed feelings, this time Shakugan No Shana exploited it’s action potential. Let’s start. Story:8/10 An evil mc?The creation of a new world?A war?Yes, yes and yes, all of that in only 24 episodes. I gotta say that it sometimes felt kinda rushed and what I didn’t like about the story were all the things they had to explain so their plan can make sense. I kinda forgot somethings and that’s something I considered to give the story a 8. I tied the story score to the characters too, but that’s something I’ll talk about later. BUT, the ending was SWEET AND SATISFACTORY.I would rewatch the w…

Woah what a way to start a show, an unexpected continuation of the cliffhanger in season 2 which was going the right way that will give me the scenes I want to see but instead, it did not go that way nor the other way, it completely did a full 180 and went back to its gay path even deeper. As if Yuuji alone wasn't bad enough, Yuuji combining with a demon lord level antagonist? (and wtf is that ugly appearance) Unbelievable, although the show makes Yuuji stronger and finally shows love back towards Shana like I wanted but this is definitely illegal, hurting Shana to this extent is unacceptable. But still I remained patient and keep watching as I heard that there is a kiss scene to look forward to and then it came, and wtf was that kiss, Shana kissed Yuuji? In that form? Was that even a mo…

I recently rewatched all the Shakugan no Shana series. I was reminded why I didn't finish season three the first time around. All character development from the first two seasons and OVA get dumped out the window. Instead we're given contrived shounen melodrama. No matter how you slice it, this season did NOT transition smoothly from the previous season. I'm lead to understand that this is because it adapts a later volume of the original light novels and is not based on the continuity of the first two anime seasons. If I didn't know this was based on a novel series, I would think this was a case of the author wanting to write a different story altogether but felt compelled to use the same cast of characters. Yuji turning into the villain is just as eye-rolling as when Sasuke became the…

If you liked the first 2 seasons slow pace and enjoyed the romance most, this season will come as a major disappointment. However, If you can keep up with the fast pace or just enjoy smart writing more than anything, this might be the greatest anime you've ever seen. The characters and intelligence is some of the best I've ever seen throughout all 3 seasons, and the music and art of this season specifically is also some of the greatest and a huge improvement from the last 2 seasons. I don't want to say much about the story so I don't spoil anything (Remember when you spoiled Undertale for yourself), but I guarantee you'll be surprised, no matter how good your predicting ability is. The anime sneaks in some atheist hot takes. The main villain is called the God of creation, and the main h…

So all you really need to know: THIS ANIME IS GREAT FOR SOME BACKGROUND NOISE WHILE YOU DO SOMETHING ON YOUR PHONE 10/10 After totally marathoning all 3 seasons and Shana S, I can say that Final was probably the most mind bending cluster of useless fluff thrown your way. Honestly, story is pathetic and so is Yuji. The only thing that kept me going through the slog of background noise the series was the hope that we get to see why Yuji chose to do what he does, and its one of the most pathetic reasoning I've seen. Now, if this was the Yuji back in season 1 I would understand but clearly Yuji has regressed mentally for however much the anime overplays his "Strategic mind". I can't speak for those who've read the novel, but the anime gives just about 0 reason and it all boils down to, "I…

Shakugan no Shana was a pretty good monster fighting urban fantasy. It wasn't perfect, but it had good characters, a cool setting, and some pretty impressive action. Shakugan no Shana Second was, in my mind, a little bit of a step down. The show dragged a little, but it was still good overall. Then comes Shakugan no Shana Final. In my mind, Final is the perfect capstone to the Shakugan no Shana series, possessing all of the strengths of what came before and then some, along with few if any of the weaknesses. It changes the status quo, escalates the action and stakes, and delivers not a choppy, episodic sort of story, but a true epic that uses every minute of its 24-episode running time and manages to do so without ever dragging Let's start with the characters. Now, while Final does assum…

Content: At first I was pretty disappointed by the sudden plot reversal after season 2, since I was enjoying the first two seasons so much. Season 3 was just so vastly different from the previous seasons that it almost felt like I was watching a different anime. Despite this, the story was very well executed. I found myself constantly questioning everything: is ___ really telling the truth? Who's right and who's wrong? Who is acting deliberately and who is being mislead? What is ___'s real goal? And most of all, what is right and what is wrong? This anime is among the best I've watched in that regard, but because of the slow progression and the total 180 from the previous two seasons I have to knock a couple points off. Score: 7/10 Animation: There wasn't anything special about the peacef…

And thus we came to the third and final season and from which I was able to draw the fact that Shakugan no Shana is my favourite anime series of all time. Where do I begin... Yuuji disappeared after the final battle as Yoshida and Shana waited for him to see who he loved. Puzzled, Shana decides to scour the city in the hope of finding him but it was as if he'd disappeared off the face of the Earth. In reality... Yuuji had decided to side with the enemy. This was puzzling to me as I thought, him and Shana had been fighting the Crimson Denizen together for so long and had started to develop feelings for one another and now he's upped and left? Not to mention that he was helping the Crimson Denizen with their ultimate plan of creating a new world. The battles, new characters, the twists…

If you stumble at this review and thinking whether you should watch this anime or not, I hope my review will encourage you to watch this show. This review is also applicable to season 1 and 2. Shakugan no Shana (SnS), its a pretty much old anime, from the first generation of romance action with tsundere heroine animes era along with Zero no Tsukaima. While it was cliche at first glance, actually SnS contains more than it looks. If you look about the fight, SnS have pretty good fighting scene. It not the best but moderate as it not just scream and win type of fight. However the selling point of this anime is not about the fight but the conflict between character and this is what SnS excel most. The character’s personality and character development is the true gem of SnS. As the character p…

Now to be honest, this is my first review on any anime. It's one of my first animes, to point out, so accept my apology for doing any mistakes or giving too much talk about this exact series as a whole, and as Season 3 itself. Be aware there might be minor spoilers. Story I want to start from the story. In the beginning you get a really great introduction on what is going to happen. When I first started the anime, I didn't expect much due to the fact I was feeling worthless already from watching my previous anime. However, this got me attached more than you could imagine. I finished the first season faster than I thought, it got me attached immediately. I went right ahead to download the Season 2, which I couldn't stop watching either. The story was well developed for me, even though at t…

After enjoying the first two seasons a lot I expected the final season to be just as good as the first two, more or less. However I was very disappointed after watching it. Shakugan no Shana Final decided to change things up and it didn't work out. Now there are some things that the show still maintained to the previous seasons that are present, so not everything is THAT bad. Story:4 Shakugan no Shana always did a good job balancing out the romance with the action. In season 3 they focused nearly everything on the story and this pissed me off a lot. So basically the story is Yuji is working with the denisins in order to create a world solely for them so they won't need to consume humans anymore. Yuji is also taken over by the denisins' master known as the snake of festivals and chose thi…

After having watched the first two seasons of Shakugan no Shana, it was safe to say I became an avid fan of Shana. So, of course, I had hopes for it’s third and final season. Having noticed the third season received more poor reception than it’s predecessors, my hopes dropped down. However, I still kept going, thinking I could make it work. I couldn’t make it work. Story/Narrative - Final starts us off right where the second season left us, or rather the aftermath of the second season’s cliffhanger. Yuji seems to have disappeared right before he was able to choose between Yoshida and Shana, and now the rest of the cast is trying to confirm his status and where he is. However, this is only for the first few episodes, afterwards, we get the sudden plot development that the reason Yuji was g…

Summary: This was an excellent ending to an excellent series! Though there were some plot points I didn't quite understand (perhaps there were easier ways to get to the ending), that didn't retract from my enjoyment. I will say that the 3rd season is a big departure from the other 2 seasons and it is darker, more complex/mature and introduces many new characters and plot points. I thought this departure was refreshing and helped captivate me for the last 24 episodes of a fairly long series. Story: 8/10 Ironically this is one of the weaker aspects of this season. I won't go into spoilers but I will say that there are tons of new characters added, and keeping track of each of them, their motivations, and the overall arc of the story can get a bit complex. The "good" and "bad" guys blended t…
