A Flat Revenge Story Carried Only by Cute Visuals
If you're looking for a dark fantasy with deep storytelling, look elsewhere. The core betrayal plot falls completely flat right in episode one—rushing from a chance encounter to a series of emotionless still shots, leaving zero impact when the turn actually happens. For a story built entirely on revenge, failing this initial hook is fatal.
The world-building has potential (humans as the weakest race works well alongside Elves and Demons), but it feels static and underused. Visually, it holds up with solid animation and cute character designs (especially Aoyuki), making it passable as background noise after a long day.
Ultimately, it’s a generic, predictable no-brainer watch that trades narrative substance for surface-level visuals.

Level 9999: Mediocre plot and writing.
Level 9999: Wasted characters with zero development or motivation; the protagonist is the only character with any actual agency in the plot.
Level 9999: The level 9999 characters are nothing more than cheap fanservice—their entire existence revolves around chasing the protagonist and fulfilling his desires. They have no personal motives tied to the story. Why did the author even bother giving the cards personalities if they were never going to be developed? They just serve as excuses for pointless dialogue, as all they ever talk about is throwing themselves at the protagonist.
Level 9999: Bandai only funded this anime to test if they could sell a mobile app or a cheap card game.
Level 9999: All the effort J.C.Staff put into animating the action sc…

This anime is average , there no big deal going on , It's basically an OP protagonist getting a broken skill and taking revenge, like Tate no Yuusha, Arifureta, and countless other anime.
The story is set in a world where humans are discriminated against and seen as the weakest race. The protagonist leaves his homeland to earn money and provide a better life for his family. So far, so good, but everything happens too fast, and there's very little explanation of how the world works. It's basically like the show expects you to accept things without any explanation. From the first episode to the second, the time jump is gigantic, many questions remain unanswered.
The protagonist is poorly developed, and the adventurers' arc is the best part of the first season. What's interesting is that th…

this shi is peak slop gng, when u watch lots of slop that didnt get u invested, this one is different!
Let’s be real, this anime actually has a lot of great things going on. What’s the number one rule when watching anime? Yup, enjoyability. And this show absolutely nails it with great, consistent direction. The animation is smooth as butter, and the harem girls actually have personality, which brings so much life to the screen. While generic slop usually treats side characters like absolute garbage, this show hits different. It's literally a wet dream adapted with total seriousness. You’ll probably laugh at the plot and the characters' antics, but honestly, if you just shut your brain down, you’re gonna have a blast. This is top-tier slop precious and absolutely amazing

I do recommend it, but be warned, it's a dark series. If anyone has read the manga, than you should know how dark the series is. There is a lot of violence and death. Watch at your own risk.
It might look like a harem with all the ladies, but I don't think that is the case. I think they just admire the mc. Either way, the mc, is sticking to his revenge and bringing peace to the world.
It was a bit hard to watch, hence the inept violence against one race.
This anime might not be for everyone.
Like there is no discrimination on the violence.
Like I said, for some, it would be difficult, and if one hasn't read the manga or caught up to it, it gets a bit more gruesome.

Most of this anime is just generic isekai slop. It feels like the writers took every popular isekai trope they could find, threw them into a blender, and added a bunch of mechanics that look like they came straight from a mobile game advertisement. The protagonist barely has a personality beyond being overpowered, and the rest of the cast isn't much better. They exist more to praise him than to feel like actual characters. Their backstories are either shallow or forgettable, so it's hard to get invested in anyone.
The animation is decent enough, and the character designs are fine. That said, having a bunch of girls with big boobs calling the protagonist "Master" isn't enough to make a cast interesting. The weird part is that the anime clearly tries to appeal to the fan-service crowd, It f…

Yes, it's another anime with all the tired tropes "trash gift that's secretly the most powerful", "betrayed/kicked out by their party", "becomes the most powerful creature ever", "becomes resentful and unfeeling and swears revenge", "is instantly loved and desired by women"... BUT! A VERY BIG BUT! here the MC really earned their power in a way that makes sense and it doesn't feel everything is easily handed out by the plot. If this is important to you, please read on.
The story is predictable revenge slop: everyone else is evil except the humans at the bottom of the food chain who are enslaved and mistreated, the MC is betrayed and hurt but obtains power and decides the shoe is in the other foot now, and the targets of the MC's revenge act all haughty until they're defeated, fall into des…

As a big fan of the manga, I fully understand why some people are turned off by this or have mixed feelings.
Sad thing about this is, these are just the beginning arcs and they're basically the most boring ones. So I actually sympathize with the people being harsh on this because you can't judge it through its source material with hundreds of chapters, just the dozen episodes you do have at hand.
So I have to be honest, it's not a bad adaptation, but this part of the story isn't anything to write home about, and it does give off the wrong impression about that this story actually is. And it isn't like they invested heavily into production to elevate it beyond the part of the story they're adapting.
I only hope we do get a longer season adapting this into the more interesting part of th…

Decent 12-episode anime to shut your brain to. The concept is very much echoing the likes of Overlord's and Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghara's "The quoute-unquote evil/rogue kingdom rises from scratch to prove its mettle to the world" but without the isekai part of the equation. What's replaced in the formula is the MC's quote-unquote useless skill finally unlocking its true potential and the MC finally takes a break from the cruelties of the world to go on a training arc of 3 years (wherein he pulls gacha cards to get stronger). It doesn't work to the same length as Overlord or Mynoghara, but the revenge plot is a fine enough story element to tie a short adaptation together until the MC reaches the frayed end of the string that is "The Secret We're not Telling the MC about Himself" (He Might…

Average, it's only redeeming qualities are the banger intro, a few VA's, a few Side characters, occasionally the humor, but that's about it.
It's like a bad disgusting cake with tasty sprinkels.
The concept of a Gacha pull ability is pretty fucking hilarious though, stupid, but funny. Sadly, the execution is terrible.
t'd honestly be a lot better if they stuck with the seemingly shitty or random abilities and then the character had to be creative or work hard to make good use of a bad ability. Which they sadly didn't do either with "Fruitmaster" show.
Was hopeful after the first episode, but the immediate time skip, and complete lack of writing and development were a real turn off.
I could let the being obsessed with revenge instead of survival, in the first episode slide (arifureta at le…

This anime feels like a classic example of a forced revenge fantasy. From the start, the plot is incredibly predictable: the main character is betrayed, then suddenly gains absurdly overpowered powers, and then seeks revenge in a way that's barely challenging. There's no real tension because the protagonist is overpowered from the start.
The characterization is also weak. The main character doesn't develop emotionally he simply transforms from a victim into a cold, vengeful figure without any real depth. Meanwhile, the supporting characters feel more like "plot devices" than individuals with strong personalities.
The "Mugen Gacha" like power system sounds interesting at first, but its execution actually unbalances the story. Every conflict is resolved instantly, leaving the audience with…

"Mugen Gacha" is, for the most part, a standard OP-MC action-fantasy adventure with above-average production value. The twist here is that the protagonist doesn't fight alone, but instead uses his powers to summon overpowered baddies to fight for him! While it isn't exactly unique, it does a good job of scratching that "trashy isekai" itch (I know this technically isn't an isekai, but you get the point). Couple its standard plot and characters with solid animation and a good OST, and you get a decent watch.
The story is the kind that can only be found in anime. It follows a child named Light who is betrayed by his party; he then proceeds to summon an army of OP anime girls and becomes powerful himself to torture his former party-members for the sake of revenge. Furthermore, in this world,…

It's the standard fantasy formula with an overpowered protagonist, revenge plot, slavery, etc. It doesn't really do much unique other that pushing the envelope on how fast we get to the part where the character is obscenely powerful. At the same time, even though the characters and plot are abysmal in terms of uniqueness and soul, it has some fast-food appeal that made it an easy enough watch.
The protagonist's setup kind of reminds me of overlord, but unlike overlord that aren't necessarily trying to be evil or anything. They just want revenge. They have all the evil character basically have no redeeming qualities, and be cartoonishly evil/racist. They want to be able to have the protagonist kill these characters with no moral dilemma, and there's really no depth to it.
The range of cha…

I honestly didn’t expect to finish this in one sitting, but I completely lost track of time. From the very first episode, it pulls you in with strong momentum and never really slows down. Every episode leaves you wanting to click “next,” and before you know it, the season is over. It’s one of those anime that’s dangerously binge-worthy 😂🔥
What I loved most is the main character’s presence. He gives off that powerful, commanding vibe similar to other overpowered protagonists in the genre—but the story doesn’t feel lazy about it. There’s growth, intention, and clear development behind the strength. It doesn’t feel like power just for the sake of power. That balance makes everything more satisfying to watch.
The supporting cast is surprisingly engaging too. The characters aren’t just ther…

Heard this title from Trash taste and that's how i landed in here.
For starters, the beginning was really bad/bland/boring whatever you call it. Didn't entertain me at all, because setting up the revenge aspect of this story was so quick. It didn't even gave time for us to alteast develop some form of attachment to the villains for us to feel betrayed because everything happened in the span of one episode. So everytime mc gets to have revenge to his past party members, i don't feel anything at all. "ohh... yey... finally got his revenge..." boring!.
What motivated me to keep going was the world. Since they've setup a lot of species in the show, there was a lot to explore, so that made me curios on how they would flow the story.
2nd i guess what shocked coming from JC staff, was the anim…

If you're partial to isekai revenge tales where the underdog flips the script with god-tier hacks, it scratches that itch handily. But fair warning: it dives headlong into tropes that might make you reach for the fast-forward button.
The MC, Light, is your typical overlooked adventurer in a world of guilds, dungeons, and magic crystals, lumbered with a party of unreliable sorts. The betrayal hits hard, brought to life with moody dungeon visuals and raw voice work that sells the gut-wrench. From there, a divine gift introduces the "Mugen Gacha" system, an infinite summon mechanic that's equal parts game parody and power fantasy. The pulls are a visual treat, with spinning interfaces and flashy arrivals that nod to mobile gacha addictions.
Early episodes ramp up the squad-building and init…

My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha is a very fun — albeit flawed — revenge anime. It’s not something I can recommend to everyone, but for viewers who enjoy its particular themes, it can be an extremely entertaining watch.
To really enjoy it, though, you need to approach it with the right mindset. This is what many would call a “trashy” anime. That doesn’t automatically mean it’s bad — it means it embraces a cliché, over-the-top premise, has weak writing in places, and includes some mediocre episodes. At the same time, it can be wildly entertaining if you value fun over polish. If you go in expecting a serious, tightly written narrative, you’ll probably be disappointed. If you go in expecting exaggerated revenge fantasy and flashy action, you’ll likely have a great time.
However, some conte…

Pretty solid isekai. Not too crazy compared to a lot but I really enjoyed this other-side of isekai where the mc goes for revenge. The characters were very different and felt fitting by the end of the anime. Good development and skipped a lot of random scenes which i actually preferred than seeing the same lvl up narratives in most newer isekai/ fantasy anime. Wondering if/ how they would develop a continuation of the story? Characters has good personalities and nice art style to them as well. Could have don’t without the use of “GD” so much there’s no sense in using our Father God’s name in vain. You can create just as dramatics without using it. Enjoyed the anime and hoping to see some further adaptation(s). 🙂

i got hooked up episode 1-3, But After that Is just a revenge and nothing else. I know it's genre is action and Fantasy.
But For the Author of this anime, at least If you say Gacha, then Make this Anime Gacha, like pure random item, Because as the story progress, He just summon the cards like what he wanted, Not Liek pure random, But this is just like Yu-Gi-Oh!, Summon cards!,not Gacha Cards!
The Heroine was good Personality, But i think the villain Is Really good at Voice acting, Because i more prefer the villain voice than the Heroine Voice. Kinda dissapointed.

Very good, a revenge story. Although the plot isn't particularly elaborate or complex and does rely on some clichés, it's neither over the top nor too annoying.
It has some inconsistencies, but it's no different from the movies or series we usually see in real life.
If you like revenge stories, this is for you, as it's not like other half-baked, boring, or sad revenge stories, or simply morally ridiculous or stupid and disastrous ones. Here, revenge is truly carried out, which is how it should always be.
The downside is that the revenge isn't explicit; it's more of a middle ground. In other words, it's not very elaborate, and there isn't much violence for its adult rating. That's all.
