This is very average, or rather, mediocre.
My first impressions were "oh this is going to be bad" and adding in the poor animation my expectations for this thing were really low, but as it drifted into it's magic academy trope laden self I found myself coming to a realisation, it doesn't do anything that is outright 'bad' and I couldn't dismiss it as being 'bad'
To be bad requires some effort, much in the same way that to be a good series requires effort to be put into things, there is very little effort put into this which is why I judge it to be mediocre.
There is nothing new here, the premise was something that had been done many times before this even existed, the magic academy setting was a saturated genre, we have familiar character types and a familiar pattern with the story, a g…

While I understand this anime's somewhat low rating, it's better than expected.
The plot is actually pretty good considering this kind of magic school anime and it's common tropes can be very silly. Character development is decent too.
Soundtracks (yaaa ya ya yaa ya ya yaaaa...) are bad. Real bad. The art and overall animation is alright but when it comes to fight scenes they pretty much skip most of them in a way that screams "low budget/no time".
So, it's a fine watch if you are able to enjoy an anime with crap music and without those nice fight coreographies. Oh, it's recommended to skip the cringe, kinda long bath (fanservice) scenes with no significant dialogue - unless that's your thing, then sure 😅. On the other hand, it's good that fanservice is all there and only there. Dialog…

tl;dr: An anime that’s even less intense than it seems and arguably slow in some pretty important regards, but is pretty good at being pretty casual action centered around characters.
Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan, also known as Sky Wizards Academy, takes place in a world where humanity was almost wiped out by a horde of giant magical insects and only survived because they escaped to magical floating cities. These cities still are under the constant threat of destruction by the insects, but thankfully humans known as Sky Wizards have gained abilities that allow them to defend their cities.
While all of this backstory is present, it definitely isn’t the focus of the anime. Rather, the focus of the anime is more character focused and much more narrow. It focuses on platoon E601, a pl…

This is my second viewing of Sky Wizards Academy, having previously watched it years ago. The first thing you will have to get over is the art style. The picture quality is, to put it politely.. very mediocre.
The first three episodes have this weird problem with color saturation where the brightness is obnoxious. Even in best quality mode, I could not find a stream of the show where everything is clear and crisp. Perhaps the blu-ray resolved this? either way, it comes out looking like a show from the early 2000s.. which isn’t necessarily a good thing.
Another thing you’ll notice is the incredibly stock soundtrack. The same couple of songs will play during key moments in the show, and they are fairly repetitive. It isn’t grating or anything, but you will notice it for sure.
So far, this…

Hi, this is my first review :D
So straight up, I’m gonna start with the art style. Although other attributes of it weren’t very good, I very much liked the art style and character designs even though they were quite cliché.
Next, the characters and general story. Generic. That’s most of the what I’m about to say summed up in one word. You have the usual stereotypes; tsundere, kawaii, a MC who is cool and reserved and has everything figured out for him. I see a pattern of the general story that mimics other anime’s but I suppose it is difficult to get something completely unique these days. The story doesn’t add much interest to your general opinion and it does not spark much humour, tension or similar in you. The animation isn’t extravagant but neither is it poor quality.
TLDR; Generic…

The truth is that very, very cliché I have already seen it a thousand times the same and with better animation. With a better group of protagonists, much more interesting and with the protagonist who is not sad. In this anime you only see trash and trash. And when you think it can't get worse, it gets worse. Don't watch this don't waste your time watching this piece of shit.

Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan (2015)
Honestly, for a show that has got so much stick, it isn't nearly as bad as people say it is. It does have more holes than Swiss cheese in regards to what is even happening at many points of the show and the story sort of shows progress but also doesn't in the grand scheme only the school part really.
The art is actually a very good quality overall and it is really nice to see UNLESS you are looking at the bugs in that awful CGI. The enemy as such looks horrible and I would say is pretty awful. Everything else is very good so it doesn't ruin that score.
The OP and ED are nice, the soundtrack is suitable and actions are good just not much real depth.
Characters develop all over the place but at the same time characters are also missing massiv…

Watched this Anime twice but have not read the Manga. In both instances of watching it, I thought that it was an alright watch. I thought that it was a good way to pass the time.
The story had a good flow to it, though I thought that it did leave some things out that could have just made it a little better. From start to finish I had this question in the back of my head, that sort of didn't get answered. I thought that if it had got answered during the later episodes, that it would have made the story aspect better. The actual context I thought was rather generic, but it did its job and certainly had my attention all the while.
The style was very typical as you would expect from any other show. I liked the fullness of the frames and I did like the colour scheme. There's nothing that pa…

As for me personally, I should have enjoyed anime's like this, I mean a story about underdogs, an mistrusted teacher and a group of girls that is considered the worst, they make a the perfect underdog team but why?
The main reason for me giving this a low score is the fact that despite having an intresting plot, they focused more on the fan service, plus In my opinion, they should have focused more on the girls overcoming all the odds instead of this Real Nua guy whom i think is forced just to make Kanata look great, well in fact he is already, plus the whole reason for him turning evil is OUT OF LOVE?!?!?!
'
if there's one thing I enjoyed here it's the main cast, like I said, them overcoming all the odds was a fun watch, It just sucks they didn't get the respect they deserve, plus there'…

- Hello, guys, finally my review of Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei in Kyoukan, starting with the story that although interesting, unfortunately was not very well executed, besides having several problems of script and some exaggerations in some scenes, and unfortunately this bothers, but despite of all that, I still liked the story, it's a very good story for someone who is looking for something to just pass the time, but it was a story that had a lot of potential but unfortunately was wasted.
- On the technical part, which is one of the strongest points of the work, the technical part is simply excellent, the animation is very good, but what stands out even is the look that is simply magnificent, are firm features and vibrant colors; already the direction does not stand out much, not bad, just…

This anime was pretty lacking in a lot of areas. The emotional moments were just okay, and the character development wasn’t anything special, but everything else kind of fell flat. The action, romance, comedy, characters, and overall story all felt pretty underwhelming. Even the opening and ending themes didn’t really stand out, which made the whole thing feel even more forgettable.
The only real positives were the character designs and a couple of decent voice performances, even if they didn’t have much to work with. I don’t really know everything that goes into making an anime, but it feels like something just didn’t come together right here. It’s not the worst thing I’ve watched, but it’s definitely not great either—just kind of “meh” overall. I only finished it because there were a fe…

Disappointing.
I knew exactly what to expect when I started watching this anime and though nothing is original about the story, or the characters, I have always enjoyed anime like this.
So its a typical school type setting where the worst students are given an outcast teacher to help them improve or face expulsion. Add to that the girls are cute, have super powers and have to battle other students. So when it comes time for the annual school battle, the girls as expected compete and prove to everyone they aren't the losers everyone thought they were. Brilliant, seen heaps of anime just like it and loved most of them.
However in this waste of a time anime, instead of devoting the main portion of the series to the tournament and the fight scenes (which is the best part of these types of…

I have mixed feelings about this one. I found the first episode funny and it showed all the main characters and their personalities. The characters are good in my opinion but they get boring later on. You've seen Misora and Lecty in other animes but Rico is quite unique. Sadly she turns into an annoying character later on. Kanata and his former teammates are great, especially Kanata who always "forgets" to tell his plans and ideas. His background is actually pretty complicated but the show won't tell you what exactly happened so you have to think but you can find it out pretty easly.
The animation is decent but in the final round in the tournament it gets really bad for some reason.
This is an anime where you have an overpowered MC but he doesn't show his full potential. You have a harem w…

This anime drastically change my views in anime....
Why?
Thats because I'm also one of those majority that judged whether to watched an anime or not based on its score......BUT THAT WAS REALLY A MISTAKE!
....
DONT JUDGED A BOOK BY ITS COVER FOLKS.....this one is really a good find for me......yeah ....its just really underrated...
this one really hit me that here I am writing a review for the first time...
...
Now to start:
Story:9/10
This kind of story is not really new....with mecha, harem, magic, romance and stuff.....yeah just like Infinite Stratos, Unlimited Fafnir, Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut,Masou Gakuen HxH and others.....
the story takes place in a floating city of mystogan(reminds me of Fairy Tail)...people in this anime now lives in floating island due to mecha insects invading the la…

Sky Wizards Academy
Similarly to how you have better things to watch, I have better things to write. So I’m gonna power through this review and give you just enough information for you to know why you shouldn’t watch this.
VISUALS [ 3/10 ]
This show is animated... sort-of. The OP was almost good enough to be likeable, but nonetheless, the show as a whole is terrible across the board. Sky Wizards Academy has got to have some of the most generic and unspecial visual designs and artwork I’ve ever seen.
However, nothing can save this show from the incredibly inconsistent animation. From time to time, the animations are just barely passable. Sadly, there are times where this show legitimately dips to four frame animation. Absolutely awful, in other w…

This anime was dreadful i did not enjoy one second of it i have watched tons of anime like this one but this one is especially crappy the plot is thrown around everywhere there is n character development anywhere the only thing i give a rating higher than a 1 out of 10 is the art which was ok and the sound which was normal like most anime. If you want to watch an anime like this one watch asterisk war or rakudashi no cavalry. I highly don't recommend this anime as it feels like they didn't even try to right a good story and rushed to finish it

Who dared you to look at this show? ...Huh? You weren't dared? Okay, well, who forced you to look at this show? ...WHAT? You weren't forced to research it? Then why the hell are you paying attention to this show? Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei No Kyoukan is one of the worst shows I have ever seen, and the show on my list with the lowest rating. I am usually passive about the anime I watch, with most scoring 7-10, but this show.... this one deserves the score of a 3.
If you haven't got the hint yet from all the reviews above mine, this show is absolutely terrible. The question to why the MC "betrayed" the academy is answered in the last episode, leaving you wondering the whole show why they call him a traitor. We only see him fight about 3 times throughout the show, once in the prologue, a seco…

Relatively moderate review this time, nothing too fancy but I do think this anime deserves a review since it did intrigue me quite a bit! I'm doing a review on Sky Wizard's Academy, an anime based around a protagonist, Kanata Age, that has recently been black listed a traitor due to his inactivity with his duty to protect his home of Mistgun. In his blacklisting, he winds up becoming an instructor for a group of misfit students that are considered the lowest of the students, as they still have yet to win a single match against any of their opponents.
So I'm going to start with the story as it is probably the only thing actually holding this anime together unfortunately. While I really enjoyed the story and the way the plot held itself together, I feel like I know nothing that I want to k…

Hello, this is my first review on this site, so I'd like you all to keep that in mind. I have reviewed other anime, but that was on my facebook page.
WARNING! WARNING! SPOILERS MAY BE PRESENT IN REVIEW!
Story: 8/10
For story I gave it an 8/10 for a good reason. While many may disagree with me on the score, I feel it is well deserved. For one, the anime did impressively well at fleshing out as much as it could in only 12 episodes while also not overflowing or underwhelming us with information about the series. They; introduced the threat of the anime, showed why they're a threat, made us aware of the main characters and their backstories, fleshed out the relationships they had with other characters, explained plot points about sky wizards (such as how non-sky wizards lose their memories o…
