Masterfully written and directed.
Every episode doesn't feel like a waste. The interactions between the two main characters are heartwarming to say the least. It's such a pure innocent form of love that is expressed in such a comedic way. Fantastic idea of turning a "harem" (a cliche genre at this point) into a single character acting out different personalities in the context of a theater club towards her crush.
Honestly, cannot recommend this enough. This might actually top my favourite which was teenage romance SNAFU or 1st season of bunny senpai.
Art is totally fine, you either like it or you don't, as usually. Story is 10/10 in terms of the context
Characters (there are only like...6?) are well done enough. Really the entire show is focused on the main couple so it's actually re…

Description makes it seem kinda shallow. Like dude just kinda scummy.
But nah, not at all. It's like the author read/watched "Tsuredure Children", saw Kana x Chiaki dynamic and said. Yes. More.
The "harem" is just an inside joke. Really is just cute, flirtatious role-play, as she loves acting and he loves every bit of that.
Every episode is just. RELATIONSHIP GOALS. "Misunderstandings" to an absolute minimum, as you watch the near sickeningly sweet, high school sweethearts love story progress.
A refreshing, pure rom/com story with no annoying drama or forcing of comedy to get in the way. Not really even any side stories. Just them, natural laughs and a lot of bittersweet moments that has you screaming into pillows.
A hidden masterpiece likely looked over because the off-putting descri…

Cute but absolutely mid. If you just want something light hearted to wash over you then this is for you. With zero actual character growth or development its definitely one of the least interesting things ive ever watched. Not boring though. Just cute and thats all.
Technically its all perfect, no issues. Theres hundreds of better, more engaging romance but when series like rent a girlfriend, komi or a couple of cuckoos are running for hundreds of chapters with fuck all happening this is a nice change of pace in terms of people getting together.
No love triangles or short haired childhood cuck friend. I guess id recommend it if you dont want to think. I'll probably forget the series exists in 6 months time, but wouldn't say it was a waste to watch it.
If you like this kind of thoughtl…

It's hard to write a review about this anime because I really want to say I enjoyed it for what it was but there's just some things that bring it down.
Overall it was a nice watch, the voice actors did their jobs well and the pacing was fine. I actually enjoyed the setting because it's rare to have a high school romance continue after high school and they actually show it. It was also interesting how the pacing was because it really felt like it was 2 episodes per episode, you'd get half way and it'd feel like the ED was going to play but it just continued on.
The animation was fine, yeah it was one the cheaper end but the focus was on the characters which is the main point the to romance.
The music was nothing spectacular, I couldn't remember any of the songs other than the OP and ED.…

No no, this anime is simply incredible. I have to say that at first I wasn't convinced and I was a bit creeped out, but each episode moved me more and more. I couldn't stop screaming with every scene of this anime.
I have to admit, it touched my heart. I didn't expect much. Even at the beginning, the character designs are quite poor, but as the episodes progress, they improve more and more.
I don't usually write in-depth reviews; I just write what I think at the moment and translate it as best I can.
Character design 7/10. The truth is, the protagonist is a bit lacking for me.
Romance 10/10, without a doubt the best.
Story 10/10. It's simple, but that doesn't make it bad. The pseudo-harem with an actress is partly original.
The score doesn't matter, since for me it's still a 10/10.

at first it has a good and interesting concept, but when it get to episode 4/5 it started to become boring.
well first thing, i wathed this because hayami saori do the VA for the female mc and the interesting cooncept which she does wide variety type of voice acting in this one anime
the story begin with female lead interested in mc and try to knowing him better and she started to fall in love, kinda thing, but there is nothing special about the mc, though rin explains why she loves the mc it just didn't go forward at all, at first it was funny with skit and comedy, which rin copying many girls type characters like tsundere and the other type, and she sometime confessed her feeling through acting with different type of character, but when you repeatedly served with the same thing you got…

This piece of art is an absolute masterpiece! If you've watched a lot of anime romcoms, you probably know some of the basic personalities that main heroines tend to have (tsundere, yandere, etc.). And this anime takes that to a whole other level! It perfectly showcases all the iconic personalities you've had a crush on throughout your entire anime-watching career.
I highly recommend that you don't watch this as your first anime. And try not to binge-watch it, because it's so much better enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Think of it as a top-quality wine – something you've waited your whole life to experience, and savor every sip! This anime made me smile from the first second to the last, purely out of happiness. Every time I watched this, it made my day!
P.S. Don't expect a harem.

Out of the many romance animes I've watched this is one of the most wholesome ones. An unique thing about it is that it's fast paced and it might feel like you are just watching a compilation of short moments at first. The progression between these two is also fast which makes it different from other romance animes. Rin is really cute and because of her acting you get to see so many different versions of her which is lovely. They did a good job of making teen romance feel like the most beautiful thing ever. I wish this anime was more popular because it definitely deserves its rating, if not higher. If you love watching wholesome stuff this is the one :D

It's quite blatantly clear that Giji Harem was adapted from a 4 koma. The lack of any actual concrete side characters, focus on activities at hand, and the simplistic nature of the interactions and characters blend together to a 4-koma show. It's not necessarily bad as a 4-koma, but when animated as a full cour show, there's much to be desired.
Depending on who you ask, the relationship and interactions between Rin and Eiji can be endearing. And it's not that bad. Eiji's definitely a sort of carefree doofus that Rin somehow falls in love with. Maybe his bouts of kindness, or how he's funny, the junior acting star Rin does in fact like Eiji. It's not that hard to imagine, and the romance and dialogue, while a bit cringe sometimes, makes sense in the context of the show. Eiji whimsically br…

Most adorable Rom-Com I watched. Rin is just too cute. VA went on full throttle for sure.
Since all of this is in description, it doesn't count as a spoiler. Girl is acting multiple personalities to create a pseudo-harem for the guy she admires. This is what show is about. Subjectively i gave it 10/10, objectively i would give it 8/10.
I gave it 10/10 because show is very enjoyable and Both MCs are very adorable together, the way they act, the way they treat each other. Born out of friendship and goofing around, grown into romance. Very healthy, enjoyable and cute anime. VA generally is very gentle with her voice and voices many gentle characters, but seeing her in all her various character personalities was truly amazing. That's the main reason i gave it 10/10. Being a VA is 1 thing, b…

This anime is a rather odd combination of really good and, well, not very good. I'm actually really conflicted about how I feel about it, because the good is really good, and the bad is pretty bad.
I think the best summary I have of this anime is it's basically "Don't toy with me miss Nagatoro" if the main characters were actually likable.
Okay, let me start out with the good. First, this anime is unique. It's as if someone took a look at all of the anime like "Nagatoro" where the girl is a tease, the main character is a spineless wimp, and their romance is inexplicable, and then just turned that entirely on its head. The FMC is a shy, easily embarrassed girl who uses her formidable acting skills to hide how she really feels. The MMC is a cocky guy who teases the girl just as much as he…

This anime really took me back when I first watched the Saekano movie. a classical romance Senpai and Kouhai, straightforward plot, without unnecessary distractions, and the smooth storyline were truly refreshing.the ending was exactly what I had hoped for. Watching romance anime like this always brings back nostalgic feelings, reminding me of those moments when emotions and hopes were woven into every scene. It feels like revisiting that time when my heart would flutter, following the romantic journeys of characters that felt so real—especially in those classic, vanilla romances that perfectly capture the sweet simplicity of love without the need for drama or complexities.

In an anime, there are some that start out good, but end up bad, and there are some that start out bad but end up good.
Maybe this anime is good at the beginning but bad at the end, bad here means boring.
Let me explain:
This anime features our two MCs, a male MC and a female MC. Honestly, at first I thought this was a perfect match.
For the comedy and plot twist, I think it's very good, even some scenes really made me laugh.
But unfortunately it all didn't last long, one of the factors that made this anime boring was the comedy which became less and less funny!
For some comedies, it seems like just a repeat of the previous episode, for example Oh this is a spoiled brat, Oh this is a calm girl, Oh this is a Tsundere girl.
Yes, all of that seems like a repetition, what's different is perh…

This anime is definitely different, the fact that the girl had 6 personas inside reminds me of the protagonist from Persona 3 with many personas. But seriously, that's definitely the main point of this anime and to be honest it's something you either like or dislike because that's definitely a reason why most people only have one personality because it's very chaotic at some point. But in my opinion, this chaotic interaction between these two protagonists really brings naturalness to how they develop their emotions.
I would say it starts off pretty slow in terms of romance with the male lead being almost non-existent, but the couple is certainly fun to watch as it breaks the mold of normal couples, leading to more playful moments between the two that are very natural and enjoyable to watc…

Welcome to the review of a much awaited adaptation manga adaptation. Maybe too "awaited". It honestly felt like a small studio saw that for some reason no one decided to adapt this semi-popular romance manga and decided to give it a go. The results are what you would expect.
The story is pretty cute, with a very positive and feel-good vibe. Its not a story with a lot of hard-hitting and thought-provoking elements because, honestly, it doesn't need to be. It's what a weekly rom-com should be while trying to be as inoffensive as possible and it achieves of making the viewer watch the show with a smile. The story is definitely the best part about the show (mainly because the source material already did a good job). Of course, because its a romance anime, it sometimes accepts some plot-holes…

I'll be honest, Giji Harem left me underwhelmed. As a romance anime enthusiast, I thought I'd found my next obsession. Instead, I got a simplistic, predictable storyline that failed to deliver emotional depth.
The premise sounds cute: girl crushes on senpai, senpai falls in love, they confess, and get married. But trust me, it's not. The conversations between Eiji and Rin dominate 95% of the screen time, making it feel like an endless, sappy date.
I nearly dropped it by episode 5, but my curiosity kept me going. The only redeeming quality is Rin's multiple personalities - tsundere, cute, cool, and devil. It's entertaining to see her adapt to Eiji's desires. But Eiji himself? Mediocre face, talentless except for drawing, and utterly dependent on Rin.
What bothers me is the lack of:
1. C…

The protagonist's girlfriend likes him out of nowhere! This happens at the same time, in the same second that she sees him... i.e. the romance is without a good context.
The promise of the anime is simple, but, they censored kisses! There's only one part that doesn't censor kisses... The manga is best, very best that this. The animation in general is bad, stuck movement and some eps are boring...
The voice acting is very good! This is worth praying. The rest is generic, nothing interesting. Read the manga, it's the best.
The ending is good. Avenger all the rest of the anime... The feelings it was like a mixed. The part unique memorable. Probably I will forget this anime in two weeks because it has nothing interesting, except the end.

It really has been 3 years since my first review but I can't help myself from not actually reviewing my dream come true of an anime wrapped up and tied perfectly with a bow in 12 quick episodes. As one of Saori's biggest fans if not the biggest fan I can't stress enough how enjoyable Giji Harem was!
So if you are looking for reasons to watch:
1) The biggest reason definitely has to be Saori Hayami and if you like listening to her voice from acting normally to taking several different character personalities and tropes with the cliches included and making them her own with as much color and originality to them that is bound to make you smile from ear to ear.
2) How heartwarming the relationship portrayed here really is, from the comedy Eiji is bringing to the table to Rin's sheer determin…

If I had to use a word to summarize "Giji Harem" it would probably be wholesome. The romance in this anime is incredibly sweet, and I found myself constantly smiling at their interactions. I must admit that I did not have high expectations based on the name which seemed a bit cheesy, but I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I ended up liking this. I was however, very confused about the pacing in this show.
What I mean by that, is that the show has issues in how to pace the plot. The story tends to jump around as the two main characters, Nanakura Rin and Kitahama Eiji, develop their blossoming relationship. There isn’t a clear plotline that the show follows, and at times, it’s hard to tell how much time has passed between episodes or even between scenes in some cases which tends to…

Who needs 100 girlfriends when you can have 1 girlfriend with 100 personalities? Giji Harem takes “get you someone that can do both” to the next level and is one of the most satisfying seasonal romances you’ll see. A nonstop heartwarming ride that’ll have you covering your face and gushing like an idiot. Eiji and Rin are one of the cutest couples around, and what makes them standout in a crowded field of romance shows lately is the romantic progression! Going from a kouhai-senpai relationship with the personality switching acting gimmick to a full blown relationship, dates, kissing etc all in the same season is almost unheard of these days and makes this a must watch for any romance fan.
Giji harem was an amazing time for me. The persona switching gimmick was something different and I li…
