I was so immersed in it, as if it was real life, got so emotional, Strongly recommend to watch it!! So many unpredictable twists make it one of the best thrilling anime we could sit and watch even if we're slacking behind episodes and seasons. Art is cool but they could have made some changes in terms of faces, a few character's face shape or the way they look felt almost similar, not bad though, pretty enjoyable and perfect overall. This anime is something rare and not what we get to see most times, so underrated!! We get to know the life of Manga authors, artists, assistants, voice actors, anime making and all such wrapped up in love, fun, friendship and even rivalry that teaches growth !! Such a MASTERPIECE..!

MASTERPIECE . I couldn't have hoped for anything better. I started with no expectations, as it was an anime I'd been putting off for ages because it had 75 episodes, and I simply regret it. This anime is perfect in every way. Every episode, every moment, every memory, everything, absolutely everything has a meaning. As expected from Obata, Takeshi, the mastermind behind this work and Death Note. Genius is not enough for him. Just watch it. My enthusiasm is no coincidence. I rarely get like this, even though I've watched a lot of anime. The openings are good, the soundtrack, the comedy... there are so many elements to mention that you'd be surprised. Some moments seem predictable, but they're not. It's simply surprising at many points. And finally, I leave you with a quote from Kawa…

This season was the weakest in the series. Although to be honest, this was pretty expected given everything so far. Romance has always been Bakuman's weakest suit. It has mainly pretty much been a shounen, and has heavily relied on setting up arcs where the characters face a massive hurdle and try to break through. With that being said, the end of season 2 already sets up Ashirogi Muto as having become successful mangakas. PCP was the culmination of all their efforts and it continues to achieve good ratings. This, combined with the knowledge that it's the final season, makes it pretty difficult to setup any difficult hurdles for Ashirogi to overcome. They already are doing pretty good, the only thing left to do is overcome Nizuma. The formula of overcoming massive hurdles was dropped, but…

Bakuman Season 3 was good. I have a few problems with it though. First off, half the anime everyone was just saying "Arigatou Guzaimasu". It was... weird. Second it was scary how seriously they took work. I noticed they never enjoyed personal time, and Takagi never really spent time with his wife. He was always working on Manga. When are they going to enjoy life? Third this anime was a little similar to season 2, in that they spent the entire show working on another manga. It was nice seeing them progressing differently than the other season but still. This is a longer anime at 75 episodes total. I still personally enjoyed Season 1 the most. Season 1 was the season where they were basically like "Screw the typical life lets go do something different" And that one message made me like i…

Part 1 English Part 2 Bahasa Indonesia -------------------------------------- Well, well, well, what do we have here? It's the third season of Bakuman, the anime about making manga. And let me tell you, it's like watching paint dry, but with more angst. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good underdog story. But there's something about watching a bunch of teenagers drawing pictures that just doesn't quite do it for me. The characters are all a little too earnest for my taste - where's the sarcasm and the snark? But I will say this - the animation is top-notch. It's like they spent all their budget on making the characters' hair look absolutely fabulous. And hey, if you're into watching people drawing and sweating over deadlines, then this is the anime for you. But at the end of the day,…

Rarely do you get to see an anime that is able to move you like bakuman. This anime has one of the strongest build ups I've ever seen, it was just epic from start to finish, like an ideal anime, nothing overpowered, nothing expected, it was realistic and crazy good in doing it. Characters: Like damn, how can you get to this much characters in one anime?, Takagi, mashiro, hattori, nizuma ( who is easily one of the coolest rivals in anime ), kaya , azuki and like many other mangakas and editors who are so well written. The author managed brilliantly to show us the atmosphere and the environment the mangakas and the editors live in, how serious their work is, how every tiny change can change the future. I highly enjoyed the influence of other mangakas like nizuma and the fukuda team, and th…

What a great ending to this series! Bakuman was a treat to watch. The journey for each of these characters from aspiring amateurs into full blown manga legends is inspiring and entertaining the whole way through. They manage to throw in just enough twists and obstacles along the way to keep you constantly invested in their struggles, without it growing too tiresome. It reminds me of the cat and mouse games played in Death Note the way each character decision causes reverberations that can have lasting affects on the story. There's the obvious tongue-and-cheek handling of the in-universe manga that our heroes create and how they wanted to end it at it's natural point where the publishing company just wanted to milk it for all they could. It's been said that this may be a peek into how thin…

Bakuman, the manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and draw by Takeshi Obata, the same creator of Death Note, has the metalanguage as the central idea, in other words, the mangá talking about mangá, the cinema talking about cinema, the language talking about language. The main discussion that can been about this (and the positivest too) is it's not resume only in a autoavaliation like art work, with discussions about composition and narrative like citations in mangá, but a autoavaliation like media product in a big mass cultural industry (japonese editorial market, in this case), that work in a hierarquic and hard system positions and excessive quality control in all work maded. The metalanguage in Bakuman, knowing the anime serie has mangá like main theme and central approach, is caracteri…

In the third and final season of Bakuman, our boys have the water up to their necks as they need to compete directly with Eiji Nizuma for six months straight otherwise they will be fired from Shonen Jack, not only that, it seems that a new challenger has arrived and he even has the unique style of Muto Ashirogi, so things aren’t looking so easy to them. This season might be the most complete of the three of them, it has the very first “bad” antagonist although the results are mixed, it was interesting how they manage to make him threatening almost like a terrorist. The stakes are higher than ever and because everyone wants to compete with Eiji Nizuma the rivalry with the other supporting mangakas is pretty notorious, pretty entertaining, however, the interactions with the rivals it’s a li…

In this season that I watched, it featured little bit characters as Shun Shiratori and Toru Nanamine. Shun was a nice and sentimental man but Toru in change, it was a manipulator and he doesn't have any original ideas for his works. Story (10) It featured a certain contest for love manga to decide who wrote the love story, and certain showdown between 2 rival manga artists, and also had when Moritaka and Akito got one his works in 1st place. Art (10) It's stills the same. Sound (10) The BGM in the anime it stills conserves the fitting on every situation. Also it had 2 OP themes. Character (9) About Moritaka and Akito, their dreams had acomplished. For Miho, it's was very charismatic. Eiji was a fun character. Takuro was a manipulator because he wanted Kou only for him and he forced her…

This review will pertain to the entire series. Story: 16/20. This story should be so obvious. Why have I never seen this be done in anime? It is easily digestible and at points addicting to watch even if I can't bear scenes. The only issue I ever had with this is that it never evolves and it seemingly drags in areas because of it. Other than that this story is a gem that had me addicted. Season 3 although was a weak point for me. Ninamine is a terrible villain that seems like they tried to pull off like a death note-esque rivalry except half-assed and somehow worse than what death note was. And the romance part of the story is another thing i dislike but i will give that its own portion. Art: 7/10. Good but dated. Not much more to say. Sound: 6/10. It's melancholic at times and over-d…

This is my review for Bakuman in its entirety (seasons 1-3). I believe any and all anime fans owe it to themselves to watch Bakuman, simply because it completely changes your view and mindset on the industry that is manga and anime production. Ever since watching this series, I look at any anime I watch, or any manga I read, with a better understanding of what is going on from the artists' end of the production. Ultimately, you will gain an appreciation for mangakas and their hard work. Not to say that this is the only thing gained from Bakuman. The story is simple, yet captivating enough to keep you in your seat watching and wanting to know what happens next. This is one of my rare cases where I rated the 'enjoyment' factor higher than anything else. The characters may not be outstandin…

*This review Covers the Third Season of Bakuman and Spoilers are included The Final Season of Bakuman finishes the Story with finally fulfilling the Dreams of Mashiro Moritaka and Takagi Akito. Though in my opinion I found Season 2 much appealing but that doesn’t mean this season was bad at all. Story: 7.5/10 The Story in this Season wasn’t bad but not much appealing. The first half of the series came with story arcs that started off strongly but ended in a generic way. But the Second half was much better as the Rivalry between Ashirogi Muto (Mashiro and Takagi) and Niizuma Eiji was shown perfectly. And the Azuki Miho Arc at the end was good as well. So, the Story was kind of straight forward in Season 3 but good in its own way. Art & Animation: 7/10 Nothing’s changed oh nothing’s change…

Out of 100 Nobles watching… 65 were impressed 15 could just not care about the romance 10 died of old age 10 died in the hospital arc of a brain aneurism Bakuman was a really good show… for about one season. Seriously if I were to just talk about the first season of Bakuman I’d pretty much have nothing but praise for the show. The series has an interesting premise about two boys trying to become mangaka, and I was consistently surprised with the show’s avoidance of the obvious. In the first season you’d have your typical drama, conflict, and payoff, but Bakuman would always seem to subvert my expectations in a satisfactory manner. I don’t know what happened with the subsequent seasons and I have not read the original manga for reference, but by the time Bakuman was over I was glad I was…

Bakuman se 3 is really a true work of art and heres why I stand by point and the reasoning behind why... Whilst watching Bakuman from start to finish I loved it, when I first watched season 1 I gave it a 10/10, then watching after season 2 which was even better than season 1 so I gave it a 10/10 and finally this season (season 3) was at a new level and was better then all of Bakuman. The story and character development was by far the best in almost any anime I have seen, the sheer enjoyment from watching it made me say things out loud in moments of pure joy or anger. Characters such as Toru Nanamine who made my anger sky rocket when watching Bakuman, I Couldn't believe how much hate I had for one character. Another example would be Mashiro who really had a sense of determination in a way…

This anime is about the love story of Mashiro and Azuki in a unique way, even though they work apart in a very far place to each other, they still got in contact and will married after Mashiro gets an anime and Azuki was able to voice act in Mashiro's anime. Mashiro works together with Takagi, Takagi being the writer and Mashiro being the drawer. Mahiro has an uncle who died of working too hard, his uncle had teaches Mashiro so many things about being a Mangaka. Both Takagi and Mashiro work together in the title of Ashirogi Muto, Ashirogi Muto had a really long way and had a lot of rivals. Mashiro and Azuki often provoke and ccheer each other up even though it is from just an email.

Bakuman is a super realistic lens into the life of mangakas, and considering the fact that the people who made Bakuman is also an artist/author pair -just like the main protagonists-, I wouldn't be surprised if this anime was a remixed story about their life after making Death Note, which is hinted at in season 3. With 3 seasons and 75 episodes, Bakuman is obviously pretty long for a realistic work, and if I were to rank them from best to worst: 3, 2, 1. This season (3) is definitely the best season. They did a really good job developing all the characters and wrapping up their roles. They made me realize how much I loved certain supporting characters and how much I was subconsciously rooting for their happiness and success, and of course, it was extremely refreshing to watched the main…

#This is my first review =) I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!! Story:9 For me, everything was going so fast sometimes I needed to rewind the scene again and again to understand it but I really liked it. The interesting motivation at the beginning of the series, the teamwork, the romance, the jokes, the character development, the manga plot from every mangaka, EVERYTHING... Art:7 It's good, I didn't find it weird or find some half cook drawing anywhere. Mostly the same place so the background looks normal and the characters are well drawn. Sound:9 Liked both op. The ending...6/10 maybe? You can hear the sound well, doesn't have any problem. The background sound is good too. Character:10 I really enjoy seeing the Fukuda Team (does this count as spoiler?), everyone has different personalities and h…

To find a friend who shares the same passion, to be able to marry your crush when the dream that you share with her becomes true, to have supporting family, rivals with same goal that keep motivating each other, ones that guide you to your path and to chase the dream of life. Bakuman has been one hell of a ride. The first season starts off with the introduction of the characters, the dream that they have, their struggle to chase it by spending their youth on it and the formation of pen name Ashirogi Mutou, Ashirogi which is made up of Azuki, Mashiro and Takagi where Mutou means to grant dream. The first season has one of the best OST among the rest, 'Blue Birds' and it's just irresistible not to relate it instantly to their unusual love promises. Season two introduces more characters as r…

So what do we have here? My, it's the 3rd season of Bakuman and if by any chance you follow my reviews and you wonder where is my review for the 2nd one... I was bored out of my mind and my vodka supplies were running low so i couldn't bother to write one. But here i am bothering with the last and maybe i'll throw some things from 2nd season as well to keep you happy. And let's start with the story, which is a very easy task to pull through since i suppose you have gone through 2 seasons of Bakuman so...It's more or less the same but instead of having the disasterous adventures of a failure of an editor aka Miura, we get the un-marvelous small journey of a dickhead mangaka going by the name of... Erm... Nanamune, Nanaminer... Something like that who gives a fuck anyways? I think that the…
