Going into Beelzebub, I expected a typical delinquent battle anime with some comedy sprinkled in. What I didn’t expect was to get emotionally attached to a demon baby and a bunch of violent high school delinquents who somehow feel like a dysfunctional family.
At its core, Beelzebub is pure chaos in the best way possible. Oga Tatsumi is basically the definition of “I didn’t ask for this responsibility,” yet he somehow ends up raising the Demon Lord’s son while still trying to survive daily school fights. The contrast between brutal fights and ridiculous comedy is what makes this anime so addictive.
The humor actually lands most of the time—whether it’s slapstick, exaggerated reactions, or the sheer absurdity of the situations. But what surprised me most is how genuinely wholesome it becom…

I will start my review by saying that Beelzebub is my favorite manga of all time. I have read through the manga at least 5 times, and it still makes me laugh every time. That's why the anime is so disappointing to me.
Story 8/10:
The story follows the same way as the manga. The biggest difference is the overuse of the same joke over and over again in a short time span. I understand that in the manga, it follows the same way, but when reading, it is much more spaced out. For example, in the first few episodes, the punchline of Oga getting shocked is repeated too much. It happens every 3 minutes, and that wears the joke out. It may be that after reading it so much and knowing what will happen, I personally was unimpressed, but I really think it would have been more beneficial to find a way…

The main appeal of this anime are the cliches and comedic elements so if you enjoy those, then 60 episodes of this anime will get you going, especially with how many opponents will try to challenge our protagonist
Plotline and setting also appeals because of the unique application of supernatural and fantasy of a demon lord's baby being dropped off one day in the human world to be picked up by a delinquent is a school life setting which is in the way of enhancing the social atmosphere and especially developing out protagonist
However, for more of an extended comment, the basic setting of a high school for delinquents should be the cornerstone of appeal to those who already enjoy anime with high school drama and factions, now with gangs and cliques

BORING
An interesting concept for an anime, but where nothing happens. Its an anime about nothing. But its no Seinfeld.
Its a good concept: A very strong high-school delinquent is chosen to raise the future demon overlord.
But every episode feels like filler. Every episode feels the same. And the story just drags on. The characters wont shut the fck up and just get to the point.
Everything is exaggerated. Its a bunch of exaggerated faces, and exaggerated emotions, and exaggerated shyness.
The characters are always screaming its so obnoxious. Listening to this anime is a pain on my ears.
And the worse thing about this anime is the lack of actual action. There are no real fight scenes. No choreography. All the good stuff happens off screen.
This anime is a waste of time.

Beelzebub is a situational comedy anime. It's strong point is its straight-faced silliness and, imo, the cuteness of the main character, Baby Beel. If you come in expecting a grand journey or a serious anime, you will be disappointed.
This may be a personal thing, but I think the original voice acting work for Baby Beel is adorably hilarious, and definitely adds to my rating. If they use different audio for Baby Beel in dubbed versions of the show, then I implore you to watch the subbed version. (always, but especially in this case)
There are a couple things that are a bit dated.
- over-the-top non-binary stereotyped character (doesn't show up much)
- single-track-mind character (regular, but frequency improves over time)
But overall it's aged well, and having just rewatched it after a…

and in the end of this series i just smiled
if u want somthing refreshing and fun to get away from your daily boring life or forget your exhustion just watch this

Beelzebub is a slapstick comedy around teenage delinquents and a baby which will become the demon lord when it grows up. The story is by far the weakest part as it is aimless. Nothing is going on in terms of on-going plot and all conflicts are solved easily and superficially. It gets even worse when you get a man like Takamoto Nobuhiro to direct it. His roster is nothing but a long line of pitiful titles (with the exception of Record of Lodoss War, which is rather watchable just for the kitch factor).
Production values are average to good, albeit worse than the artwork in the manga version. As if the animators lack funds, lots of scenes are done very simplistic and you end up feeling half the excitement of the manga. The studio who made this is basically a branch of Pierrot Studio, where…

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Beelzebub, an anime that takes the "demon baby" trope and turns it on its head. And let me tell you, it's quite the ride.
First off, the story. It's a wild one, folks. We've got demons, high school delinquents, and a baby who may or may not be the spawn of Satan himself. It's all very absurd, but somehow it works. I mean, who doesn't love a good old-fashioned battle for control of the demon world, am I right?
Now, the art style. It's a bit rough around the edges, but that just adds to the charm. And the character designs are top-notch. I mean, who doesn't love a good pompadour? And the demon designs are suitably creepy without being over the top.
Speaking of characters…

Beelzebub is a hilarious and action-packed anime that tells the story of Tatsumi Oga, a high school delinquent who becomes the adoptive father of Beelzebub, the son of the demon king. The show is a perfect blend of comedy, action, and drama, with each episode delivering an entertaining and engaging story.
One of the show's greatest strengths is its unique premise. The idea of a high school delinquent taking care of a demon baby is both absurd and hilarious, and the show does an excellent job of balancing the comedy with the more serious moments.
The characters in Beelzebub are also a highlight. Tatsumi is a likable and relatable protagonist, and his interactions with the other characters are always entertaining. Beelzebub himself is also a charming and endearing character, despite being…

Beelzebub is an action comedy series that has a decent narrative and good characters. The animation isn't flashy and the art style is pretty generic. But it is first and foremost a comedy series. I personally found the series to be amusing and fun to watch. The characters are all rather stereotypical but this leans well into the comedic aspects. The voice actors (especially Sawashiro, Miyuki) do a good job bringing life into their characters. The series does begin to drag on after episode 40, but it is still decent. Overall Beelzebub is fun to watch, and if you enjoy the comedy, fun to laugh at.

My advice is to not take this show seriously. Like at all. Turn your brain off, relax, and enjoy.
I mean that in the most positive way possible, for I cannot count the number of times that I was struggling for air because I was laughing so hard. Japan is known for its bizarre sense of humor, but I have never encountered anything quite like this (it definitely is something that would not be published in this generation of seasonal anime). In other words, if you plan to watch this, know that it is chiefly for the gags. And the references too (Gintama, Naruto, Bleach, Voltron, DBZ, etc.) if you are into searching for Easter Eggs.
Yes, Beelzebub as an anime has plenty of issues. The pacing isn't the worst I've seen but its still pretty bad, there are numerous plot-holes/inconsistencies, and…

Quick review:
The anime Beelzebub is a very entertaining and feel-good anime. It has extremely funny situations that are punctuated with the baby Beelzebub electrocuting his adopted “dad” when he gets too far away from him.
The anime is more about comedy and humor than it is about action and the supernatural. The supernatural is not portrayed as scary or malicious. Instead, it functions as a way to channel more humorous antics and events.
Characters:
Each of the main characters of the Beelzebub Universe helps in contributing to the total humor of the plot. All of them are weird, amusing, and have their own unique abilities. Oga, with his brute strength, the baby Beelzebub with his powers of electrification, Hildegarde “Hilda” with her parasol blade.
Final Thoughts:
The anime Beelzeb…

“I see now! When I have a real baby on my back, my reaction time and movements are all on another level!”
- Kanzaki Hajime, Episode 14
Beelzebub is a strong adaptation of a mostly episodic comedy series that knows how to use the anime format to bring out the best from its premise without becoming too stagnated by its very specific premise.
The main storyline of Beelzebub is an intriguing one that, while it has scope, remains focused; not straying too far from its chosen field. Having a demonic baby becoming attached to a teenage delinquent is one of those oddly specific circumstances that lends itself perfectly to the episodic format. This allows Beelzebub to develop the fighting and comedic elements simultaneously without stretching itself too thinly. Episodes that focus on comedy are…

10/10 One of the Best I've Ever Watched
I'll keep it short:
- Unique story
- MC is op and lovable
- Top notch comedy
- Awesome side characters
Personally I think this is the funniest anime I've watched so far because it matches my humour perfectly. The MC barely has any weakness unlike some modern day animes' MCs. The plot is also not that tense its relaxing all the way. The only down side to this anime is probably the one sided romance that never gets closure. Also the ending seems kinda rushed with the one punch massacre and sudden revival.
Overall extremely underrated and I want a season 2

Beelzebub is one of the best anime I've ever consumed, it's been a long time since I found something so remarkable. His comedy is a good one. Although she is very funny, surprisingly she is also focused, it is not like Gintama that is all random and without feeling, not that it is bad, but I didn’t expect it to be like that when I watched it;
Of course, the story is not much, but the anime does not take itself seriously and is made fun of here, and that matches too much. Fortunately, the author / studio did not decide to follow the standards of the time and go to a side of struggle, serious plot, etc ... He remains in the comedy from beginning to end and I was happy that it was so. Of course, there are some serious parts and stuff, but it all ended up being funny, it was a great decision;…

Quite funny and you will grow very fond of the entire cast of characters. Has an enjoyable world that sets up a lot of funny bits. The relationships between characters like Oga and Kunieda, Himekawa and Kanzaki, etc are the best part of the show IMO I just wish that we could see some more development between them. That being said it's basically a sitcom so it's understandable that it lacked that. I'm glad that there was an overarching plot that drove the show, it kept the pace up.
After finishing it you feel like you are saying bye to some dear friends. One of my favorites.

Beelzebub: The Unorthodox Quality Action/Comedy
I went into this anime blind. I wasn't really sure what it was going to be about or whether it was going to be any good or not.
After scrolling Crunchyroll for years I had always seen it floating somewhere on the "popular tab". I have always had a soft spot for demon themed anime's and decided to go all in.
Story (8/10): The story itself can be described very simply as 'An absolute overload of information'. everything about this anime is madly over the top; From the characters to the story to jokes and action scenes. But, this is where the charm is; this feels like a wild story that has grabbed you by the hand and has sent you barrelling through a mad action/comedy.
Art (7/10):
Being that I am reviewing this in 2021 it is obvious that t…

Story:10
This is so outstanding. The story is not shabby and it can keep you entertained for the whole 60 episodes. Infact,60 episodes was way too little for me!
They turned a big catastrophe like conquering the humankind into a big joke.
Art:10
What can i say? The art is just outstanding for a 2011 anime and the art is super suitable for the anime.
Sound:10 Baby beel's sound's too cute and i like the sound when Aoi blushes.
Character:10
The character is actually very unique. They all has a unique role to make this anime as funny as it is. The characters are likable and Kunieda is best waifu btw.
Enjoyment:10
What more can i ask for lmao. It makes you laugh your ass off and it's the perfect anime for binge watching when you h…

This show has so much potential I wish i could give it a 10!
Sadly a 7 is already generous, considering I can't bring myself to rank the story, or art, and therefor the enjoyment anything better than a 6. The sound alone is so dreadful it should plummet the final score to a 5, with some of the worst karaoke tunes to come out of Japan for theme songs and an utterly annoying pinball machine soundtrack.
The characters however shine through, with some of the most memorable faces and personalities to ever grace the screen. Paired with a brilliant premise of a Demon Lord being adopted by a juvenile delinquent attending a school full of thugs, this show had everything to be as entertaining an action-comedy as One Punch Man.
Regretfully this never happens. The comedy is just overdone gags after…
