My Hero Academia Season 4

My Hero Academia Season 4

Introduction

After successfully passing his Provisional Hero License exam, Izuku "Deku" Midoriya seeks out an extracurricular internship with a professional hero agency. At the recommendation of his mentor All Might, Deku lands a position under All Might's former sidekick, Sir Nighteye, now a famous hero in his own right. As Deku's classmates further their own abilities through various internships, up-and-coming villain Kai Chisaki utilizes his terrifying powers to gather favor in the criminal underworld. Known by the moniker Overhaul, Chisaki's ambitions collide with the League of Villains and its leader, Tomura Shigaraki. Through his work with Sir Nighteye, Deku discovers Chisaki's crime syndicate and the villain's hostile relationship with a mysterious young girl named Eri. Fearing for the child's safety, Deku and his upperclassman Mirio Toogata must work together to put an end to Chisaki's reign of terror. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

If you look at a lot of the reviews about this season, you'll see a lot of disappointment over just about every reason you could imagine. I think a lot of that disappointment is overblown, but there is still stuff here that really rubbed me the wrong way. Look at the score, I still think it's a positive experience overall. I was a big fan of all the new powers introduced into the universe. I'm a massive fan of Tamaki/Suneater, his power is probably the most interesting I've seen since Season 2. And I had apprehensions when I first saw Eri, but I loved what she did for this season's story. All that being said, the fight scenes are noticeably worse this time around. They're not terrible or anything, but they feel like they don't effectively utilize a lot of the powers as well as they should…

Another wonderful season of MHA. Honestly, this season just keeps reminding me why I enjoy this series so much. There are so many new things introduced, especially the new Quirks and villains, and I really enjoyed seeing how they fit into the story. I especially liked the new villains. They don't just feel like random enemies that show up for a fight and disappear. They actually add more to the world and make things feel bigger than just the usual hero vs. villain stuff. The new Quirks were also really fun to see. Some of them are seriously crazy, and I always enjoy seeing how the characters use their abilities in different situations. The season also has plenty of moments that got me excited, and there were times when I was just sitting there thinking, “Okay, this is getting really good…

This is definitely the best season so far. Finally, the action has moved beyond the school and the endless retakes of various exams and tests. Chisaki’s story arc was really interesting—he’s a ruthless and crazy villain, and most importantly, he’s very powerful. During the battle with him, the animators finally started to use some direction and fight choreography. They learned how to build suspense, and characters started dying, so the stakes went up. After that, the second half of the season was very calm and fun. The festival was a wonderful story arc—lighthearted and cheerful, with lots of music, smiles, and character revelations from unexpected angles. Also, Gentle Criminal is one of the most interesting and unusual characters for me. A hero who became a thief—finally, the thieves aren…

This season has certainly been better than the first and second, but slightly inferior to the third. Let's start with the good stuff, the entire Chisaki arc partly carries most of the season. The pacing of the episodes is fast in some parts, which adds a lot to the season, and the animation improves significantly in important fights. The problem is that so far this season is the one where the filler and stretching of the season is most noticeable; there are some good episodes and others that are not so good, but the filler is too obvious. I hope the next season is at least decent because it's the worst rated on this app. Top 3 Episodes 1._ Infinite 100% (4x13) (9.8) 2._ Lemillion (4x11) (9.6) 3._ Unforeseen Hope (4x12) (9.6) HM: Red Riot (4x09), Bright Future (4x14), His Start (4x25)…

This was honestly an anime I didn’t want to touch at first. Everywhere I looked, there were spoilers. And when a few people told me it was “boring” or “not that good,” I was even less motivated to start it. But when I finally gave it a chance, I was pleasantly surprised. The animation is gorgeous (and trust me, I’m a huge critic when it comes to animation), the character relationships are so well‑built, and the overall story is just… perfect. It’s original, emotional, and full of moments that hit way harder than you expect. Sure, some people say it gets “boring” at times, but honestly? Even during the slower parts, I kept looking forward to the next episode. And the sequels? I was hyped every single time.

My Hero Academia season four was another strong entry in the series and one that I'd rate an easy 8/10. This season probably held my favorite arc to date with the Overhaul arc. It contained everything I could've asked for from this series, with some great action, emotional character growth, and impactful character moments that stayed with me long after I'd finished watching. The whole Shie Hassaikai arc truly invested me because the stakes were so high, especially for both the heroes and villains on a personal level. Overhaul himself was one of the series' greatest villains up to this point, in my opinion. His personality of being calm and calculating, combined with his frightening quirk and warped sense of "purity," made him truly menacing. I also loved Sir Nighteye and the manner in whic…

🌌 The Season of Growth: The Plushie Crew Reviews MHA Season 4 🌌 **Rating: 8/10** Season 4 of *My Hero Academia* may not hit the same relentless highs as earlier arcs, but it’s a season that chooses to slow down and grow. Character development takes center stage, stakes feel heavier, and while the pacing sometimes falters, the payoff is in the way it reshapes heroes and villains alike. For the **Plushie Crew**, it was a mixed yet meaningful ride: * **Winny** 🐻 noticed the slower pacing and softer climaxes, but praised the emotional depth between Deku and All Might. * **Willow** 🐉 found the Overhaul arc a bit drawn out, yet said Deku’s “infinite” moment made the wait worth it. * **Mimikyu** 👻 was intrigued by Gentle Criminal, calling his arc a subtle but vital piece of future setup.…

5.5/10 ~ meh MHA at this point just feels like a whole lot of nothing for build up into big spectacle climax that are all pretty showy action scenes 1-2 per season. The show started off pretty meh, had some great highlights through season 1-3, Season 4 forsure seems like a step down but not really by much, maybe .5 to a whole 1 point down from the rest. Im not really sure why people either praise or hate on this show, its just fine. Slain is still the best part of MHA and all the other villains are just dumb or feel like they are from a diffrent show entirely. Tournament arcs, invading the basement of a villain base are all so getting old, it almost feels like these are prerequisites for being a shonen, its so tiresome. This is the part where I found most people started to drop the sh…

This season is actually pretty good compared to the last couple of seasons. *minor spoilers* This is what happens when a interesting villain, a interesting story and goal, a cool fight scene, and emotional moments, are compacted into a season of My Hero Academia. Kai Chisaki is a pretty cool villain, with good character design Although My Hero Academia has always been fantastic with character design. he also actually has a well built upon back-story, and not bland or generic like My Hero Academia is sometimes. There isn't much downsides to this season that are anything different from the other seasons, but this season's best moments are better than the last couple seasons, and there's quite a bit of emotion, sadness, etc involved in this season, more than the other seasons. This season is…

If you are looking for an easy watch, this really is the show for you. I think when it comes to shonen, there are some shows that tend to get criticized way more than others based on the fandom or if the main character gets too much plot armor. In the case of MHA, it is certainly due to the fandom and the fact this show is obviously geared towards middle schoolers therefore the lack of dark topics but that isn't always a bad thing. I think MHA does a good job not making Deku be some character that immediately beats his rivals but rather he learns slowly, and I think this season is a pretty good reflection. I remember when the first season came out and I loved this show but when the second season came out, I started to get embarrassed about it and started to dislike it a lot. Now completin…

This season was adorable. I'm not sure why I see so many haters in the reviews. Perhaps people forget enjoying anime isn't just a "love or hate" binary. Sometimes you can find a show just kind of good, or okay. I think season 4 of MHA is pretty good. The story is progressing, slowly but surely, and the action is always really epic and intense. We are introduced to new characters, and old characters get new life by having the spotlight put on them. If you're a fan of My Hero Academia in general, this season is pretty good. My main complaint about this show is that it is CLEARLY marketed to young people. Typical shonen doesn't make me feel embarrassed for watching it, but I do feel that just a tiny bit while watching MHA. I can overlook that, I think, so that I can give the most honest rev…

You Say Garbage My Hero Academia continues its quest to systematically murder the battle-shounen genre in its 4th installment, which promises to be more epic than any that came before it. Can it end its previous seasons' trends of never developing its secondary cast in any meaningful way, making its characters mary sues, never giving enough time to important events, and using one repeated piece of OST to cover for its lack of substance? Nope. To elaborate: The overhaul arc happened. And when it happens, oh boy does it happen with a whimper. It wasn't like the show had built up a reputation for delivering on hyped up characters in any way, starting the trend of squandering all for one last season immediately following beating the first villain of the show in the second episode he showed…

Part 1 English Part 2 Bahasa Indonesia -------------------------------------- Well, well, well, what do we have here? It's the fourth season of Boku no hero academia, an anime that's like a superhero movie on steroids. The story continues to impress, as we see the young heroes-in-training face off against even greater challenges. It's like watching a group of ants take on a lion, but in a cool, anime way. And the music? It's like a symphony of awesomeness that'll make you want to go out and save the world. Overall, I'd give Boku no hero academia 4th season a score of 7.9/10. It's a superhero anime that's not afraid to take risks and keep things fresh. It's not perfect, but it's damn close. -------------------------------------- Baiklah, baiklah, baiklah, apa yang kita punya di sini?…

This season (Specifically the second arc) is probably one my favorites. It starts off super intense. A ton of new characters come in and there's a lot of tough moments shown through great character development (Tamaki and FatGum have my whole entire heart). Themes of dealing with imposter syndrome, feeling like you're not enough and having to face that, what is the point of being a hero, and a lot more. The animation is also stellar in this season. So many of the shots are just incredible. The second arc is a bit more of a much lighter tone but still a lot of the intense themes we love. Coping with high stress environments as a child, who we become when we fail ourselves, overcoming traumatic experiences, why do we want to achieve our dreams, etc. But at the same time we get to see the st…

Its Anime like these that just keep pumping out the same dog water content. I'm honestly surprised as to how these things still remain one of the "greatest". The reasons for my distaste for this anime is the following: 1) Character development To hell with character development when it comes to super powers. Hey, lets just think new super powers and the anime will hold itself. Oh lets not forget to also include them fighting because that will keep the eyes of our viewers dilated as if they are drug addicts with all the crazy animations we give them. Oh how can we forget ... the one to overthrow the greatest in the anime. Why is it that people are mentally subservient and utterly discombobulated that the same putrid stench is being produced by the same factory and yet they remain fixated…

Boku no Hero Academia 4th Season From the point of view of a viewer who just wants to enjoy this series, it was more than a success. This season was emotional, dynamic, and multi-layered. As well as having a more uplifting and sympathetic second part. In that regard, it lacked nothing for me! At least only from my point of view... Unfortunately, at least every second person has probably noticed what this is all about. The author keeps trying to chew through all sorts of clichés and uses the "will" of the characters as an excuse for victory. Whereas seasons 1 and 2 used a completely different scheme, here it's only true as follows. "Is a protagonist struggling? Does he have a flashback? Then it means he wins very narrowly and even survives, no matter how dangerous or strong the opponent i…

I've been enjoying the series of My Hero Academia up until this one. The first half of the anime was really good and interesting, but the last 5 (approx) episodes really sucked and I ended up skipping most of them because it honestly was unwatchable for me. First part of the series; infiltrating and saving someone, interesting and I enjoyed that. The characters were super interesting and I was able to fangirl over my favorite character...General good anime stuff. XD The last 5 episodes...SO BAD! It felt like they ran out of ideas and were just trying to throw something together to make the big 25! The fight was completely pointless and literally only to make some kid happy! Of course the main character always wins in the end and the school gets their celebration. But it felt stupid, I w…

Some reviews liken My Hero to going the same way as Fairy Tail, but I wouldn't quite go that far. For me at times they do still manage to throw in a good twist and one still isn't entirely sure if a main character might be retired. It definitely doesn't feel quite as repetitive as Fairy Tale for sure. That said though the main cast of protagonists feel somewhat bland. There are only a few I have any sort of interest in for some reason. I feel like I understand the villains motivations far more than a lot of the protagonists who are like an unoriginal group blessed with random talents. That lack of spark in the main characters feeds into the story, because when there are slower slice of lice sections they can feel underwhelming and unsatisfying. The animation at times does start to feel li…

Boku no Hero Academia series four started off strong, considering the disastrous previous season. Characters were still a strong suit for the season and the reason why the series is populated across anime fans, as the storyline still remained repetitive and vague. The only highlight in the story was both Eri`s and Hawk`s introduction, they were the most standout, as well as the finale episode of the season - Endeavor`s fight with the advanced Nomu, other than that, it followed along with the fundamentals basic structure of the previous seasons to BNH, an explanation as to why Izuku is not suited for One for All (through his work-study with Night Eye), introduction to new villain and the new issue at hand (hence, the introduction of Overhaul and Eri`s trauma, etc), all is resolved with Iz…

Older reviews from 2020 have criticized low animation quality in this season. The fault lies entirely with the reviewers themselves, though. I noticed these very same issues myself as well, and so, naturally, decided to wait for the Blu-Ray version before watching. The result? All visual hiccups had been fixed in the final release, as expected. The quality in the BD version is absolutely flawless. So, as a general piece of advice, if you value visual quality, always wait for the BD release before watching an anime. It's well worth it. I'll preface my review by noting that I personally found S3 underwhelming. I was never too impressed with the League of Villains in the first place―they all seemed unoriginal, juvenile and one-dimensional―and All for One wasn't much of an improvement. That's…
