If you watched all 175 episodes of the first season of Fairy Tail then you're definitely watching the second season too, or well, the first 25 episodes at least since you'll want to finish the grand magic games. Though I believe you'll like the rest of the season too. Overall I think that this is a pretty good second season and that it's pretty similar to the first. That is to say, there's still a bunch of fanservice and the anime still sucks at time management. So much so actually that in this season they finish a fight way too early and have to show clips of it in the following episodes to make sure that the timeline actually matches up. Another weak part of this season is that it has pretty long recaps on some episodes, up to 3 and a half minutes excluding the opening, which might be…

Not for the critics, but for the people. This show will be torn apart by people who look for the "perfect" show to satisfy their sophisticated taste buds. HOWEVER For the hard working individual who comes home after a 10 hour shift and wants to escape reality and be left with a happy story that energizes them for the next day, this is it. I cannot stress how many times Fairy Tail has boosted my mood from mental and physical exhaustion. Those who are criticizing the show for the lack of plot or typical shonen tropes are missing the entire intent of the author and the team. They simply forced their own preferences onto a show that doesn't cater to them are trying to cancel it by convincing others to steer clear. This show is defs meant for the hardworking class 💪

Fairy Tail 2014 is the continuation of the story that started back in 2009. It gets a huge glow-up in terms of animation and quality. The soundtrack is just as good as the previous series. This goofy series is made to tug at your heartstrings, as long as you have seen the previous series prior to this one. This is supposed to be a little bit more serious tone in the show, but due to the goofy nature of the show, it fails to hit that mark most of the time. Tough, this series has the best two arcs in the show (one of the arcs is in the previous series at the end), it delivers those two arcs very well and the fight scenes are great. If you enjoy a good shounen fight, magic powers, and just a goofy show, defiantly would recommend touching this series.

Loved fairy tail growing up, this anime provided me with alot of fun experiences watching this with it's great amount of comedy, action, characters you're introduced to, motives and backstory of all the characters and music to go with it. Each fight even with them being quite long but not overly drawn out leaves you very satisfied with how the villains get absolutely destroyed. The only downside you may have to put up is how friendship can somehow give characters the second gears of power, like the power of fwendship. Though if you can get past that then you'll enjoy this anime with what it has to offer. There's also a fair amount of fan service which as a teen I loved though it was also there for comedic purpose. Over the high amount of episodes you're with the characters you do feel con…

Well 2014 Fairy Tail quickly wrapped up the tournament arc that they were in the middle of when the first series ended, and then spent forever in another evil league of bad guys arc. I'm sorry, but you can't keep recycling the same ideas over and over and expect me not to get bored of it. The tournament arc was refreshing in that this series in general has not relied on them. The evil league of bad guys was the opposite, because it's been done already like 6 times. The formula goes like this. Fairly Tail gets a mission or is attacked which lets them know about the threat. The bad guys are introduced as a group either in name or by actually showing up once, but they never fight as a group because they would probably win. Fairy Tail sends a group composed of similar numbers and they all pai…

WELL, what a an outstanding Anime this is. The Plot is just Great, we continue from where we left in the Prequel, and during the Fairy Tail Prequel, we got some Hints, that there might be something deeper, behind the Magic Games, and let me tell you, yes that Arc is more than meets the eye... Interesting Fact: Grand Magic Games Arc is actually the longest in the Fairy Tail Anime, totaling 52 Episodes. which we watch a Anime Original Arc about the Celestial spirits, and this Arc also had it's Charm, just like the sun village Arc, finally we watch one of the most interesting Arcs, to me. The TARTAROS Arc, i won't spoil anything, but believe, i could barely stay in one Place, i watched every episode so excited, cause it just hooked me. After an Episode ended, i wanted to watch another, what h…

1) Introduction Ah! Fairy Tail, how to start? This show and Sword Art Online are the two more controversial animes to this day (on my point of view at least), when I say this I mean that they are the two animes with the most numbers of fans and haters. Like, I don't know if Fairy Tail has more fans or haters and I think is very difficult to be on the middle, you hate it or you love it. So, in which side am I? By the score that I gave to it you might think that I like it and that's 100% true. I like it. Maybe is because it was the first "real" anime that I saw (Pokemon doesn't count). So now I am going to tell you why I like it. 2) Characters I want to proper start this review judging the characters because I think it's one of the most controversial topics. The haters say that th…

Have you ever heard that if you judge a fish by its ability to climb on a tree you'd think it's stupid? Many complain about Fairy Tail to the point where its own fans are apologetic for liking it... And I disagree with that. I genuinely thank this author for writing one of my favorite series. Fairy Tail's fights don't really have much technical logic in them. I'd usually tell you that's boring because then you're not really scared, or resonating with the characters through them. The outcome is known, or easily manipulated. But are they boring? No. Not to me. Because every fight in Fairy Tail tells a story. About the characters. About their past. About their present. And sometimes, about their future. About their weaknesses and about what lead them to be who they are. I personally really…

This is Fairy Tail's best arcs, that's my summary. Grand Magic Games and Tartaros Arc both peak my interest in pursuing more of the developing adventure of the series. Better and more interesting action-packed epic battles, and improved storylines. Grand Magic Games is the survival of the strongest. It will literally give you the thrill because of its system of potential versus potential, and power defeating another power, one on one. The favorite character that you are rooting for will face head on to mystified new faces from opposing guilds, and it will be a test of pride and power. Another thing that builds up my interest is that the Fairy Tail guild starts from scratch again anchored from the aftermath of being gone for 7 years. People have forgotten about them and their incredible…

Since this is continuation of previous Fairy Tail I got a bit disappointed. Animation is not as it was before, and it is all somehow more stupid. Fights are slow, and there are a lot of "wtf" moments during harsh situations. I like the part of Fairy Tail Zero, since we learn Mavis's history, and also the facts that we finally get to see dragons. Tho, I did enjoy some fights of Laxus and Gajeel, and as always Natsu. Characters also changed but in a weird way, and lost a lot of what made them who they were. Juvia changed a bit for better, but is still awfully annoying and stupid, but now Gray got that stupid too. I also got disappointed with bunch of filler episodes. But overall enjoyment is somehow high, probably since it's Fairy tail. So I don't dislike it. It only can get annoying so…

first time writing a review so don't know much about the correct way of writing one but here are my cents to the praise of the guild that was one of the reasons I fell in love with anime. FT(2014) didn't disappoint me, so far the best season 9 for the overall series but 10 out of 10 for Tartaros arc and really enjoyed learning about the origin... While I admit fairy tail may not be for everyone and has its ups and downs, this show has always been a solace and place of comfort for me. Characters: Characters are so lovable one can't help but root for them. They are well drawn and fleshed out characters Entertainment factor: Enjoyment level is very high. Highly recommended for anyone a fan of adventure and friendships in anime. Perfect if you are looking for something light and entertai…

i was really kinda disappointed with this season ,unlike season 1 season 2 is really didn't have much to talk about . most of it was nothing but a waste of my time boring stories and very uninteresting fights . in most of this season i was finding myself saying damn does this have an end so i can skip this whole thing without me worrying about missing out on an important things that might occur . most of the season was embarrassing if we compare it with the excellent stories and fights in season 1 . there wasn't anything here made me focus right until maybe at the start of Episode 60 to 90 were things started to get a little bit interesting but even with that it still didn't had that much of an impact since all of these characters that showed up there had a 0% build up . the Animation…

Best days of my life watching this marvelous Anime. I've been a fan since 2013 I know I'm not a veteran fan to FT and I wish I could turn back time to be as thrilled as now to wait for every Ep. and I wish I started watching it since 2009. I cried, laughed, and got mad and excited watching it! I never experienced these kinds of emotions in my whole life. I learned a lot from every character ESPECIALLY from my hero Natsu D. _< T_____T I know i will feel empty juts like when the manga ended and I don't know what to do T______T I hope the 100-year quest will get anime too

I first watched Fairy tail up to the beggining of the Mavis arc when I was 13. Around that time one of my teachers had explained to us the importance of consuming media with 'a critical eye', so when I went back home to watch some Fairy Tail, I realized exactly what she was talking about. Fairy tail is a show that is mediocre at best, but manages to pull people in by a vague mention of themes and friendship that either get contradicted, nothing done with them or never mattered in the first place. I firmly believe that were Fairy tail fans to watch more shows, they'd have a better perspective and develop a stronger sense of taste that would in turn make them able to see how much of a waste of time Fairy tail really is. As someone who only liked this show when I was like 12 and has grown t…

First things first. My "reviews" system is explained on a blog entry. Which can be found through my profile. ------ Self-note: Maybe revise some stuff later on for a bit extra clarity. ✦Story Well, the main/serious story part of "Fairy Tail 2014" is quite good. A lot of great fights, new power elements and their method of surfacing. But main Issue with the story I have is main reason I probably put it on hold. And that would be how non-sensical and disappointing turnarounds happened. It's extremely light hearted good and evil battle shounen. But such straightforwardness made it a bit disappointing considering how well this Anime managed to create really desperate and emotional situations. But nevertheless story managed to make me emotional quite often even at most silly moments. To sum it…

Did you ever have that show that you loved as kid but as you grew older you start to dislike most of the shows that you grew up with? For me there were a couple of cases of this. One of the best examples was in Yugioh GX where I use to absolutely loved the show as a kid for its amazing duels, funny and likeable character and enjoyable arcs. Sadly as I got sadly older and I decided to re-watch the show when I was 15 years old I started to not like the show as much as I did thanks to its messy pacing, mediocre characters and subpar arcs that are mostly contrived. I don’t hate Yugioh GX or anything but rather not re-watch it again because I would end up hating it. This can also have the opposite effect for example I use to dislike Cardcaptor Sakura when I was a kid but as I grew older I start…

Fairy Tail is one of the big anime who most people around the world, know about it. This show is hated by many people and loved by the most fans. Fairy Tail season 1, for me, was fine but, season 2, I think, it's better. I am writing this review based on my personal opinion. THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS!!! STORY ( 7/10 ) I think the story is better than the first season. The appearances of the dragons, stronger dark guilds and the story of first guild master Mavis were very good for the plot. I liked how they continue the Grand Magic Games and how they end it with the win of Fairy Tail. They showed some of the backstory of Zeref which I find it, a very good idea for the plot. What I didn't like so much was the Sun Village arc and the power of friendship who make Fairy Tail win…

I rate longer shows by arc, if possible. Here are the numbers; more detailed explanation below, though I warn you I shy away from specifics. Grand Magic Games/Eclipse: 8 Eclipse Celestial Spirits: 5 Sun Village: 8 Tartaros: 8 Zero: 7 Avatar: 5 Continuing from the first season, which cuts off part-way through the Grand Magic Games arc, Fairy Tail takes an impressive step forward, breaking through its rehashed faults (for the most part) to create a thoroughly captivating arc- segue culminating in one of the most powerful moments in the entire series, contested only by the Tartaros arc. Unfortunately, the series quickly falls back to its old ways with the mediocre Eclipse Spirits arc, but the interest quickly builds again with the highly underrated Sun Village arc, which very effectively pa…

I've already watched and reviewed the previous Fairy Tail series. So if you're interested in that, check out my review! I thought it was a great anime all in all. Fairy Tail (2014) was pretty much the same as the original anime series except it got dark. I mentioned in my other review that I really enjoy light series; nothing too dark, too much to think about, but the Tartaros Chapter was really different. The characters were - of course - still the same, but the plot was something I needed to adjust to. Sometimes I felt like I just really wanted to skip watching and get to the end because it never ended! I felt like right when the plot was advancing one step forward, it ended up taking four steps back! But there were definitely points in the arc that really pulled on my heartstrings - es…
