Farming Life in Another World

Farming Life in Another World

Introduction

During the final years of his life, Hiraku Machio remained confined to a hospital bed with a terminal illness until he finally passed away. Taking pity on the unfair life he lived, a god decides to reincarnate Hiraku in another world where he can live as he pleases. Wanting to try farming in this new life, he is bestowed with an all-in-one "Almighty Farming Tool" that can transform into any useful implement he wishes. Hiraku is then transported to a forest seemingly far from civilization. Here, he plans to build and farm everything from scratch—gradually developing the lifeless area into a thriving new society. A very average anime—the kind you can watch without needing to stay focused on the plot; it’s really just a way to pass the time, given its very simple lore. The show essentially follows the protagonist as he farms, prepares food, and gradually gains more inhabitants for his village... and, notably, 97% of them are women. There are also a few episodes that touch on the village's commercial activities. If you’re looking for character development, intense battles, detailed animation, or complex interpersonal relationships, this isn’t the show for you. I found it perfectly "okay"—nothing special, but nothing terrible either. For me, the biggest drawback is the lack of development in the relationship between the protagonist and his fiancée; there isn’t even a single romantic scene. Even though…

If you look into the history of this one, you'll find it originated as a very adult-themed harem light novel where hundreds of girls swarm to the main character because his seemingly tireless body is created by a god, so he's an exploitable source of divine progeny. This also has a toned-down manga adaptation that made it much less spicy, while the anime surprisingly strips out the adult themes entirely. It ends up in a curious place as a wholesome, relaxed farming/town building story. However, it still follows the same setup, and might leave you wondering if there's more to a scene than they just portrayed... and yes, there originally was.

Farming Life in Another World Starting a new life in a fantasy world with insane powers but not too fancy atmosphere and with the only objective to relax and have fun. Yes I want a life like Hiraku, the anime is really fun to watch with all the chibi and story telling method and the way the anime maintains the " Relax " vibes along the growth of the village and Hiraku's life with a wife a child and almost every women of the village foning over him . YES ITS PEAK The review is being written after season 2 started airing tho i watched season 1 before season 2 I didn't initially thought of writting a review but after watching the two episodes of the current season which is season 2 , I came here to review the first season to make people aware of what they might be missing , The anime is r…

This show suffers greatly from what a LOT of generic Isekai (and especially "village building") shows suffer from, which is a narration driven "plot" that is essentially just a chain of events tied together and relayed matter-of-factly to the audience. The whole anime is essentially just one big voiceover of: "Month 1: I did [this]. Month 2: [that] happened. Month 3: I met [character]" The characters in this show do not have personality either, they exist to go: "woooow MC, I don't know what cooking is. please explain to ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶a̶u̶d̶i̶e̶n̶c̶e̶ me how a fire works!" "wooooow MC, you're so strong" "woooooow MC, I want your babies" An interesting tidbit about this anime is that you could give any dialogue from any one character to another and it would still fit. They're entirely interchan…

Story To put it plainly, the story is mediocre at best. The main character gets transported to the middle of a forest and never leaves his "spawn point" throughout the entire season. He has ultra-overpowered skill and, of course, manages to attract an infinite harem of girls that he doesn't actually do anything with. The show is so shallow that it feels like the writers are forced to constantly add new characters just to keep it from getting boring. There are no real backstories or long-term plans for anyone. Even the farming, which should be the core of the show, is oversimplified to the point where he just uses a magic hoe to grow whatever he wants, even if those plants don't exist in that world. Visuals Most of the visuals are decent, but there are moments where the quality drops. When…

The show’s title is very promising and relaxing, yet the story is very illogical. The god in the story is a stupid moron who doesn’t even know what he is doing. Such a portrayal is fine for entertainment, but not for worldbuilding. The girls in the story only have two brain cells. The MC’s knowledge is somewhat interesting, but it is made worthless by the stupid worldbuilding. When I watched this story, all I could think was, “That makes no sense,” or, “How the hell does that make sense?” For good worldbuilding, a story needs solid ontological, metaphysical, and physical mechanics, but this story lacks all of them. The god who made the cosmos is portrayed as an ignorant creature who doesn’t know what he is supposed to do. In this story, magic is just magic, nothing more. There is no cons…

Reborn to be cozy and farm whatever the hell I want. 6/10 TL:DR; I want to give this a 7 just because I like it, but it's a very solid 6. It passes the vibe check with flying colors, and even though it ends up being one guy and dozens of women in a village, it never feels unnecessarily risque. It's a wholesome junk food for the soul: no life-changing adventure, no deep character progression, just farming and fun. The Review: Our MC is one of the most deserving in the isekai realm - a sickly paraplegic that just wants to farm. The bit about his OP gift from god is pretty funny and carries well throughout the series. Our protag proceeds to, well, farm. He meets new friends, tames beasts, and makes a little home in a dangerous forest. And really, that's about it. This series knows what it…

It's not bad by any means, just very mid. has good moments, so maybe it'd be better as a 6 instead of a 5 imo, but... it is just so mid. Feels really fast, I was surprised when I finished it I was only on episode 12... there isn't 24? Really? A lot happens (especially the last few episodes, won't spoil though). It's just fast, so chill and simple that it flies by. I tried to ignore the fact that many moments reminded me of Miecraft, Stardew, Terraria, etc too, that doesn't sway me, it's just... in a long list of Isekai it's so middle of the road ok. There's better ones out there, there's worse ones, it mirrors Reincarnated as a Slime a lot. If this was someone's first Isekai or even one of their firsts, like 10th I can see them loving it, just in my long history as an anime watcher, havin…

Im still surprised how people read the description, watch the anime, and even when the anime delivers exactly what it promises, they still get mad.. If you like isekai, you like this anime, as simple as that. if you dont, sorry is not for you, doesn't mean the show is bad. This has to be one of the best isekai slice of life that there is, is entertaining, wholesome, the opening is a banger, the character designs are really good and the story progression is acceptable within 12 episodes. The only criticism i can give is that the relationship between the protagonist and his partner is not properly developed.

There are no characters, there is no plot, there is no slice of anything, there is no dialogue, there is no romance there is no power fantasy, there is no comfiness. There is not even nothing. This anime is tantamount to white static noise; to the degree anything has a pretense of existing is equivalent to a stock photo of whatever that thing is supposed to be. I would recommend this show only to a caretaker so they can sit their autistic drooling wheelchair-bound dependent in front of the screen hypnotically glazed into a world vapid and boring enough to not trigger any neurons firing. There is either a conspiracy, tech error, or a sociological emergency worth academic investigation, on why the average score is as high as it is.

"Isekai Nonbiri Nouka" A Masterclass in Conflict-Free Comfort If you have ever wondered what it would look like to take Stardew Valley, strip it of its emotional depth, interpersonal nuance, and gameplay challenge, and then pump it full of inexplicably devoted women, Isekai Nonbiri Nouka might be just the relaxing viewing experience you did not know you were not looking for. The story follows our hero an aggressively unbothered man who is generously gifted a second life where struggle is apparently a myth. In this alternate world, he builds a farm with the kind of ease that would make real farmers cry. Tools? Mastered instantly. Resources? Always plentiful. Consequences? Never heard of them. Conflict? Lets not be rash. Female characters, in a touching homage to furniture, arrive with al…

This anime is a cozy isekai about a man named Hiraku that gets isekai’d into the middle of a large uninhabited forest with super farming abilities. The story follows the progression of him and his village. It starts out with him figuring out the basics of how to live in the wilderness with only animals for company. However, slowly more and more people become residents of the village, the vast majority of them cute girls. In turn, the village has to deal with all sorts of things, such as building housing, ensuring a food supply, establishing relations with neighbors, etc. The anime never gets too serious. The abilities that Hiraku got have a lot of utility in terms of letting him easily build up and maintain the village. Thus, there’s never really any danger of famine or disease or anythin…

Isekai Nonbiri Nouka is honestly just a really relaxing watch. I haven’t read the manga, but I’ve heard it leans more into sex and isn’t quite as wholesome. The anime, though, keeps things PG and is great to throw on while eating or just wanting something chill. It’s got a peaceful village building vibe, and the characters are friendly and fun without too much drama. The animation is clean and fits the tone well. That said, I’m not sure I’d stick around if they tried to turn this into a super long running series it’s nice in small doses. Kind of feels like a kids show, in a good way. TLDR: “Light-hearted” — “Fun” — “Simple”

Machio Hiraku is offered a chance at a second life because, in the first go-round, he suffered betrayal, a grave illness, and death before 40. That was all a MISTAKE, apparently. Whoops❕ Well, I'll beeee... “What life do you choose?” In the way of reparations, the deity who screwed up Hiraku's previous life is giving him a choice for this go-round. Hiraku's response is immediate and enthusiastic. “FARMING!” That was unexpected. An avid reader, he became interested in farming from h…

I am about to finish my 7th re-watch, and I feel like I need to write a review: The show is a very relaxing slice of life, with some tense moments and a strong sense of progression. There are cliches, but there's no shortage of original things either (I won't be a spoiler, but some are very unusual for anime). Characters are well written, not very deep, but consistent, and their growth is always achieved with few very effective skits, which is way more difficult to do than using long (boring) narratives. The only weakness is the main art style (the one you see in covers) which is very generic, however, there is also a stylized one (used for explanations or comedic skits) which is impressively good and gives a lot of personality to the show. To conclude, maybe because I grew up in the co…

I don't usually like isekai. My list is littered with isekai I didn't finish. it's either not well done, too trite, too ecchi, too violent, too... well, all sorts of negative tropes you'll find in a genre that anime producers seem more interested in using as a cash cow than a work of art. This isn't a work of art. But it's better than most. This anime is a strange, non-ecchi MEGA HAREM. I mean, throughout this anime, more and more people join their little village, and the MC is the only viable man in the village. They're really cagey with the whole "sex" thing, so it's only clear that he's done the deed with exactly one person, but since they're so cagey, it's not clear if that's exclusive or not. But the fact that we don't actually know is kind of refreshing in itself. In case it's not…

This one is like the gentle murmurs and tranquil flow of a forest stream amidst the howling and screaming turmoil of the world. A safe fantasy full of hope where everyone is free to live a fulfilled and happy life. Farming Life in Another World (Isekai Nonbiri Nouka) is a fairy tale of the "happily ever after" variety, uplifting and inspiring. Exactly like a fairy tale it invites to a dive into the possibilities. What if one would discover and just follow this one true desire of the heart? Maybe a life filled with companionship, attainment and, yes, peaceful happiness? A life in which everyone is welcome to be a part and share, and those who fear only do so because they have not yet allowed themselves to discover their own true desire. Now, cutting through the dreamy poetics and touchin…

Many people might consider this anime to be just ordinary in terms of graphics, story, music, etc., but for some reason, i find that the story might not be very unique and feels somewhat predictable. However, that doesn’t diminish my enjoyment. I had already read the manga long before the anime aired, so I have a strong emotional connection to the story. While many might consider the graphics ordinary, I feel that the art style fits well with the narrative. For some reason, I still find beauty in its visuals. I believe the characters are quite complex, having both strengths and flaws. They aren’t just strong or smart; they possess traits that make them feel more human and relatable. I see that the characters react realistically to various situations. This authenticity helps me connect more…

Either there are problems with the translation, or the idea of the anime has been "changed" compared to the original source - but there is already a certain discrepancy even with the description. If we miss this moment, we have an isekai about an imba, which "isn't" because it's about farming. At first it is really interesting to watch - and there is a certain connection with "nature", but then it comes down to the accumulation of characters without their obvious "need". To be fair, it will be immediately spoiled for us in episode 1. The disclosure, roughly speaking, will be only "main" and then in two sentences. Well, except for one moment with the "first satellite" (although, subjectively, it would be better to remember 2 hairy ones - because there is still a question about "motives")…
