Green Green, while not anywhere near the top of the crop for the genre its in is not actually horrendous (1-4 worthy) in my opinion. The watcher just has to "enjoy" the things it's trying to accomplish (obvious I know),
Green Green does well in a few areas. First there is a little bit of personality diversity among the cast. If you have seen this type of show before you know what to expect from the various teenage types but at least it doesn't feel like there is one boy and one girl color swapped three times with a different hair style. Don't expect anything crazy when it comes to development though, that is not something this one is there to do.

Oh boy, this is gonna be a fun one.
Green Green is a show that is covered in the cobwebs of trends long past. It was an attempt to cash in on the ecchi boom of the mid 2000s and is blatantly unashamed of that, which is admirable in its own way. From a serious standpoint, this show is hot trash. Its humor is sophomoric, even for ECCHI standards, its story is interesting concept wise but falls flat as the show goes on and most of the characters are beyond forgettable.
So, why did I rate it a 7 out of 10?
Because this show is so bad that it becomes a blast, especially if you watch it dubbed. It was so entertaining throughout because of how bad it was, and I was rarely bored when watching it.

This is by far the worst show that has ever come across my screen. It's based off an ecchi/ hentai game but there's none of that, just heinous story and little clothes.
The first episode had me hoping; a co-ed camp in the middle of the forest, the characters seemed to get along, and halfway through ep 1, this veil was torn. It's a nonstop torrent of non-hentai, shameless "plot" and just bad writing.
Icing on the cake is I saw the dub on youtube quite a few years back. It was especially terrible! You'd think they would rewrite the lines so it could be funny, but the source material was followed strictly. What a shame.
Watch it if you want to reset your standard for bad shows.

Green Green is an anime based off of an H-game. It aired in 2003 and was handled by Studio Matrix. If you haven't heard of Matrix, it's probably because they were a studio responsible for all of four anime and none of them seem to be well regarded. I was asked to review this by someone who said it's one of the worst anime he's ever seen. So, let's dive into it.
Story:
Basically, our story is set in a boy's school that's going to spend a month going co-ed as a test run. Our protagonist, Yusuke, finds himself in an especially awkward situation when he gets glomped by a girl he's never met who claims she's been looking for him for a long time.

This anime REALLY reminds me of the movie "The Adjustment Bureau" (2011) featuring Matt Damon - with regards to the parts about a predetermined fate that a couple shouldn't be together and them trying to resist and change it. Also, it reminds me of the anime DNA2 with the time travel from the future aspect.

Midori is actually a time traveller from a thousand years into the future. It causes a lot of hard questions and dilemmas during the series. Especially as it reaches conclusion. The series ending surprisingly is bitter-sweet. It really moved me. :(

This anime is exactly like porkies, bunch of guys peeking at girls, the dub was actually quite funny even though the consensus was negative and all agreed it sucked, even though this i could watch over, over and laugh.
The plot and main storyline don't go anywhere, like its a destiny love tale, but i watch episode 1-10 for lol, 11-12 from memory where the serious parts.
Definitely an anime to watch when you don't want a complicated story line to follow, time goes quick watching this.
So please ignore general consensus that this is so boring and immature, anime like excel saga and lucky star are anime which seem more clear to be for such empty headed audiences.

This anime has the decency of being one of the worst anime I have ever seen, I think that you maybe want to watch it only to see how bad it is. You can found some parts a little interesting for the ecchi scenes (that's the reason I watched when I was 13... and because in that moment I didn't watched many animes) and some comedic moments, but besides that, everything is terrible.
The plot is garbage, I can only remember few moments and all I can see is terrible stuff, like a Vietnam flashback. I have watched hentai with better plot, well, only watching the opening make you think that this is an actual hentai.
The art is simple and cheap even for being from 2003 and the inclusion of bad cgi only make it laughable, but in a bad way (those ice statues...).

There is actually a very interesting plot going on in the series involving time travel, spiritual connection and psychic powers... but this is 1% of the show, the other 99% is pointless dribble that you would be better off not watching. I cannot make a longer review than this; I like ecchi comedy anime and the premise (as I mentioned the 1%) is very good, but it is underdeveloped to the point of not even existing. There is no plot, there are no characters; The entire show is an excuse for absolutely amateurish attempts at comedy and flimsy fanservice that isn't even well done.

This anime is rollercoaster of emotions. From the beginning it hits you with great, ridiculous sense humour and out of nowhere present outstanding drama. By no means this show is for everyone. It is not. But people who can bear with over the top and sometimes straight stupid and grotesque sense of humor and humongous quantities of fanservice will be rewarded with beautiful ending.

I just finished watching this anime.
The story at the start of the anime is a co-ed trial for two schools, one for only males and only only females being put for one month to see how things work out. But the "main" story, the one involving destiny, reincarnation, time travel and what not is just ... bullshit.
I mean, one girl just what... steals a time portal from the future to come into the past to be with her "destiny" from a previous reincarnation? And another girl says she is DESTINY. So what, she is a goddess of sorts and also a wizard from the past and a cyborg from the future?

I really don't like drama. And I dislike how this had ended, it's terrible! Why so cryel? Why so dramatic? I think it's jast a fanny ecchi-comedy! But it is not! Last few series was for me like a torture.
